Percy Jackson is a tidal wave. he is a tsunami.
from the moment he discovered his heritage, the waters began to recede. we saw him struggle, and learn, and try his best, and hold back power he didn't know how to control. we saw him grow, and we saw him save the world.
and then the moment it all let loose. Hera takes Percy. she wipes his memories.
Perseus wakes up remembering nothing. he doesn't remember his growth, or the path the led him to where he is now. he doesn't remember making the decision that he needs to hold back. all he knows is the power that's at his fingertips. it can help him. he can use it. damn the consequences and anyone who might stand in his way.
maybe he would have turned out differently, had he kept his memories. but the moment his memories were taken, Hera released the tsunami, released Percy from his self-imposed restraints, and he won't stop for anything in his path.

I've just seen frozen forces of nature arts and queen Disa is so pretty! She looks like a young Halle Berry. I'm in love. ❤
Anon is referring to these official images of Queen Disa.

(I think that's all of them so far).
I think Queen Disa's design is very cute and well made, and it helps make her unique amongst the sisters. It is a little on the nose though. Like, of course her skirt has gear-looking designs haha. Now I'm waiting for some official images of Wolfgang.

Coming in October
Return to Arendelle!
For the first time, Disney presents a new storytelling podcast featuring the beloved world of Frozen. Reunite with your favorite characters and meet new friends as Anna and Elsa work with a neighboring Queen to solve a mystery in the Enchanted Forest.
Synopsis
Queen Anna has a lot on her plate. She has welcomed Disa, the Queen of the small neighboring nation and her people to Arendelle when their kingdom is flooded. Disa is eager to learn about the scientific nature of magic.
Also in Arendelle is Lord Wolfgang, the Duke of Weselton’s nephew, on an apology tour for his uncle’s behavior. He very much wants to secure Queen Anna’s forgiveness and hopes to convince the people of Arendelle of the merits of trade with Weselton.
When a mysterious fire happens at the castle and the Spirits of Nature start acting up Elsa, Anna, and Disa travel to the Enchanted Forest to uncover the cause, where they discover mysterious steam-powered copper machines: automatons.
Where do the automatons come from and what are they doing? Who is directing them? Most importantly, how do Elsa, Anna, and Disa stop them from upsetting the natural balance of the Enchanted Forest and Arendelle?

Frozen: Forces of Nature Podcast
Everything we know so far:
So as we all know and have been talking about for the past few days, there's a newly announced podcast called 'Frozen: Forces of Nature'. The podcast will tell a cannon story set after Frozen 2 and before Frozen 3. The podcast is going to be a 12 part series, 15 - 20 minutes each episode and this will be season 1. The story will feature two new characters; Queen Disa of Sankerhus and Wolfgang is the Duke of Weselton's nephew. It is set to release in October ahead of the 10th anniversary of the franchise (and the first movie). The plot goes as follows:
'The series follows Queen Anna, who has a lot on her plate – there are visitors in her Kingdom, a friend in need, and even the Duke of Weselton’s nephew skulking around – so when the Spirits of Nature start acting up, she knows she has to solve the problem – and fast – before things get more out of control. But when Anna and Elsa travel to the Enchanted Forest, they find mysterious copper machines that are disrupting the natural order of things. Who made these machines and what are they doing in the forest? And more importantly, how do Anna and Elsa stop them?'
In other official sources, they've given a little more detail about the events going on:
'Queen Anna has a lot on her plate.
Most importantly, how do Elsa, Anna, and Disa stop them from upsetting the natural balance of the Enchanted Forest and Arendelle?'
So let's point out the key things here and other information in other official sources too:
- Anna is feeling the pressure of being Queen so far, which for me is no surprise given she wasn't prepared to be Queen so soon.
- The Duke of Weselton's nephew, Wolfgang is visiting Arendelle to apologize to Elsa and Anna on behalf of his uncle for the things he did in Frozen and restore the trading relationship of Weselton with Arendelle
- Queen Disa's Kingdom, Sankerhus, is flooded (most likely due to chaos in the forest) and hence she and her people temporarily move to Arendelle
- Sankerhus is one of the neighbouring Kingdoms of Arendelle, like the Southern Isles
- Queen Disa is intrigued by the "scientific nature of magic"
- A mysterious fire occurs in Arendelle castle which causes the spirits to go wild causing Elsa, Anna and Disa to travel to the Enchanted Forest where they discover steam - powered, copper machines called automatons
- The person who created these machines will most likely be revealed in the podcast
Some of you may be wondering why a podcast? Why not an official novel/ book? Why not a short? I was wondering the same thing when this was first announced. I had mixed feelings on this too. But the more I read posts and the more I thought about it the more I started seeing why the story was chosen to be in this format. I think with books and movies it's typical that that's how stories would be told to us. But I think Disney is trying a new way of telling stories without animation involved with audio steaming as a first of its franchises. It is said that it's also for parents to help kids reduce screen time and I also so that they save money for future animation projects especially for Frozen 3, which is a sensible thing to do honestly speaking. Perhaps they didn't make it a Short because the story was more detailed than just a simple one like Frozen Fever and Olaf's Frozen Adventure and the story would not fit in a short but a long enough to be a movie.
But you still might be unsure about the story of the podcast being with the whole nature Vs machine thing. But to be fair we don't know much about these machines or what their purpose is so we can't really say anything about it yet. All we know is that they are "steam powered, copper machines" and when I searched them up on Google I found images like these:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They sound (by the name of it) and look very appropriate for the time period Frozen is set in. But let's not panic if you're still unsure with the machines taking the focus. Frozen is about magic - in each and every movie, long or short, they've explored some kind of magic. So it's given they're not gonna go all out with this science Vs magic theme. The characters and their intentions in the story are the focus of the story. When the sisters find out about these machines they will stop them because it disturbs the enchanted forest. That's the point - to get rid of these machines. Obviously what this person is doing is wrong and has to stop and that's what the sisters will be doing in the first season of the podcast. Besides the podcast cast multiple seasons so this will be the plot for season 1 only.
And no this isn't going to be the plot of Frozen 3 or anything similar because why would they make it the plot of the podcast and not of Frozen 3? Frozen 3 will be entirely different from this podcast. We still have a couple more years til Frozen 3 is out with a rough estimate. They might drop some Frozen 3 plot hints in these podcasts and some of the characters might make an appearance in the upcoming movie but the plot will be different. but highly doubt they would make Frozen all industrial machinery. If the person behind these machines has a good intention they might use their machinery to help advance Arendelle just a little more (I'm guessing). But they won't play a role in it. Frozen is about the characters - some of which have magic! Elsa and Anna have no links to machinery or anything so let's not jump to conclusions and judge the story without, let alone listening to it, but it even being out yet.
I don't think the podcast will be crucial to the story in Frozen 3 so if some of you don't want to watch it by all means don't but Frozen 3 is something different altogether. I think they're just trying to expand the franchise and keep the fandom alive and talking and theorising in the run up to the movie because it's fine Frozen fandom would die done because Frozen 2 was originally going to be the last movie of the movie series, but now that's it not they want to make sure we're all back in the game again.
We only have theories of our own. Nothing is confirmed regarding Frozen 3 other than the fact that the main Original cast will be returning (voices of Elsa, Ann, Olaf and Kristoff (plus Sven!)) and that it will be run with a new director instead of Jennifer Lee. Who else will be returning or will be joining new, we have to wait and see.
New changes to something old we love is hard but we have to give it a try in order to see if the change was good or not.
But in conclusion to this post, that's all we know so far about the podcast. Hope some of you found this useful if you didn't know something about the podcast.

Frozen: Forces of Nature - A Review
Queen Disa and Rupert Wolfgang's Big Adventure - Oh yea, featuring the Frozen Characters.
I was able to get access to Frozen: Forces of Nature early, on the website Wonderly with their + program. So, naturally, I felt it appropriate to give a review for those who are curious about the project and want to know what it is about and what to expect. Keep in mind that this is of course my opinion, and I recommend giving the Podcast a listen so that you can form your own.
This review will mostly be spoiler-free, however, I might mention a few things here and there that could be considered spoilers, so I will put the review under the read more. If you do not want to be spoiled at all, even a little bit, I recommend skipping this review. The free release will be on most Podcast platforms will be on October 11th.
---
For a quick review for those who don't want to read too much - Forces of Nature is a cute story about Queen Disa learning to trust magic and how to be trusted herself. The secondary protagonist is Wolfgang, the Duke of Weselton's nephew, who through the help of Kristoff and Mattias, learns to find his true passions. Yes, the story revolves around Queen Disa and Wolfgang (you can't convince me otherwise), while Anna, Elsa, and the rest of the Frozen cast, take a huge backseat and act more as supporting characters.
There are many potentially interesting ideas in the podcast, but they are not explored to their fullest potential. We focus instead on these two characters and their relationships with the main Frozen cast and how they push them in the right direction to become better versions of themselves. Honestly, they should've made this a spin-off about these two characters instead of teasing us with Anna and Elsa being placed on the main cover.
My Overall Score - 40/100
I want to start by saying Forces of Nature is definitely not a mainline entry, even though it tries to imply this with the description of it being 'a story that happens between F2 and F3'. It was very much written like another Extended Universe Novel, both in the references to the recent novels in the F2 era and even using places from pre-F2 comics. I think they should have advertised it more as the last side story that they're going to release before F3 to give fans a better idea of what they can expect.
Some fans, including myself, theorized that Forces of Nature was going to tell a story about climate change (or nature vs. industry) with the hint of automatons disrupting the balance of nature and causing the spirits to be aggravated. However, this is not the case. While there are automatons, and the spirits definitely don't like them, it doesn't really try to touch on this subject at all.
The story, instead, seems like a story about trust. Anna and Elsa take different stances on trusting Queen Disa and her obsession with science, and the entire cast has to learn to trust Wolfgang, since his uncle is the Duke of Weselton. Queen Disa also struggles with trusting magic without knowing how it works, which causes some tension with Elsa. Elsa doesn't want to trust her, but Anna treats her as her closest friend. Wolfgang also has a side plot of trying to find his true calling and helps develop it as he builds a relationship with Kristoff and Mattias. Also, Wolfgang has bonus solo episodes.
Now, I don't mind when sequels or side stories try to make new characters have more depth. This was a main critique I had when it came to Polar Nights - how Inger and Sissel seemed to be just diet Anna and Elsa rather than interesting characters in their own right that we should root for. However, if it comes to the point where these new characters are taking time away from the characters we know and love, and the story pretty much revolves around their development, it makes them more annoying than interesting.
A balance definitely has to be made, making interesting new characters but not taking anything away from our actual leads.
Elsa is practically a non-character, only there to act as an obstacle to Disa's development, while Anna is the supportive best friend. Kristoff and Mattias surprisingly get a bit more screen time here, with Mattias narrating the story, and it is definitely welcoming. In Kristoff's case, however, he only shows up when he's directly involved with Wolfgang or Disa. No, there is no Kristanna content. You heard that correctly. there is none. Not even a little kiss or a 'my love' or nothing. Unless of course I missed it, but then it was incredibly tiny.
Another big thing that was disappointing, but sadly expected at this point, was that the Northuldra did not show up at all, only Ryder gets mentioned in passing. I understand that Disney does not want to write anything without Sami advisors/writers, but ignoring the Northuldran characters is not doing anything good either.
There are a lot of potential and interesting ideas present here, but a lot of it seems to not be explored at all. For example, Arendelle seems to have a big reputation for being magical and strange, but we don't really get to see this explored too much - only in relation to how Disa feels about the magical elements. We also get small crumbs of Kristoff learning to be a leader, but it is never really addressed that he will one day be King (or Prince Consort), it's only used as a way to build Wolfgang's character up some more. There were also some hints about climate-related damage, like how Sankershus was practically underwater due to floods and how the automatons leak oil - but again, it's not really explored.
Now, it could be that these things are not explored in depth because they are indeed hinting at what F3 could explore. However, I'm going to try not to go that crazy with speculation.
Overall, it was a decent experience, and had some very fun moments. However, Queen Disa and Wolfgang oversaturate the plot and take away screentime from our favorite characters. Elsa and Olaf are practically not in the story at all, there is no Kristanna content, no Northuldra, and even the spirits are surprisingly absent and only appear maybe once each. Many potentially interesting ideas are not explored, and it is a shame that this podcast had so much potential but ended up being, in my opinion, the worst post-F2 entry and possibly even the worst Frozen entry in the whole franchise.

A small disclaimer about the reaction of a certain part of the fandom pre and post the "Frozen Podcast".
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Before him, I saw people creating theories about Lord Wolfgang's participation and how excited they were about the possibility of him having moments of romance with Elsa, etc. Then came the podcast and it wouldn't be surprising for someone to create a headcanon that Wolfgang is gay, but half of these theories were right since Queen Disa had moments of romance with Elsa (and there's even an "enemies to lovers" dynamic that some people really like, but it seems that when there are two women it's not so interesting for them).
In fact, I think this was one of the first times that Elsa seemed really interested in someone, especially at the moment when Disa invites Elsa to have tea together where you have to try really hard to say that the tone they used in this conversation was just friendship.
But are people excited about the possibility of Wolfgang being Elsa's love interest? Their interest completely disappeared when Elsa's potential love interest turned out to be a woman. And I doubt some of these people talked about Anna's arc in the podcast being about uniting the two women, but Anna in the last story in the "All is Found: A Frozen Anthology"? There are even posts dedicated to this even though it is an alternative universe, hypocrisy is what it calls it.
Note: as far as I know, there is no official image of Wolfgang so I used one of his birds.
But that's not surprising either. In "Frozen 2" swap Honeymaren for Ryder in the "campfire scene" and you wouldn't find a single person doubting that the two had romantic chemistry and would be a couple in the future.
I wonder what would happen if in fact a villain returns to the franchise with a redemption arc and Elsa has a romance arc in "Frozen 3", but the villain who will be redeemed is Duke Weselton and the person Elsa will become falling in love is Honeymaren? Considering post F2, it is very likely that both will be confirmed, which would leave people who have the same theories, but with other characters, a little angry lol
