Hoodie Strings [Requested]

Request: Hi I’m so excited to read your future post!! Can I please request a Jaebeom scenario when you’re in your kitchen cleaning up in Jaebeom’s hoodie and Jaebeom comes home from the studio. He then comes towards you and end up cuddling on the couch till you both fall asleep ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ Please make it as fluffy as possible!!! I’ll be cheering you on♡︎ Also please keep my anonymous😉

A/N: This took so long- I am so sorry! eee I thought I wrote more but I guess not :,^) I’m not the best at writing fluff so that was one of the reasons for taking too long, the main problem was my lack of time management- but I hope you all enjoy!

The jangling of keys made you freeze in your place, you stood in the middle of the kitchen in a pair of shorts and a very oversized hoodie that belonged to your boyfriend, Jaebeom. The damp rag lightly swung in the air as you lifted it up, bringing your task of cleaning the kitchen to a halt.

Jaebeom had been gone for most of the day working a new choreography with his fellow members, which led to the conclusion of you having spent more than half of the day without him. Walking over to the sink to rewet the almost dried rag, you heard the soft paddling footsteps coming towards you.

Your heart fluttered, as you tried to repress a smile that was slowly plaguing your face. Touching the cool metal of the sink, you turn the knob, watching the water quickly cascade down into the drain. You jumped slightly at the feeling of two arms wrapping around your torso, rolling your eyes, you drop the rag into the sink and switch the water off. Jaebeom craned his chin onto your shoulder feeling his body’s warmth against yours. “Hands off, you loser.” You sneer playfully.

“No I think I’m good,” He mumbled quietly into your neck.You pried out of his warm grasp and spun around to face him, a small pout stained his slightly blushed face. His arms spread open as he awaited for another hug, you crossed your arms trying not to give in as he tilted his head in confusion, “Did I do something wrong or…” You scoffed as you lightly shoved his shoulder, “I mean making me eat kraft mac and cheese alone kinda hurted.”

Jaebeom eyed your cleaning attire as you crinkled your nose in annoyance. The taller forced you into an embrace once again the soft laughter vibrating in the pit of his chest where your face resided in. “I apologize for not telling you beforehand that I wouldn’t be home for the rest of the afternoon, but I bet you cooked up some mean mac and cheese.” His calming voice relaxed you as you slowly eased into the fabric of his shirt, inhaling the soft scent of his cologne. “Don’t sniff me like a dog- I smell like sweat,” unburrowing your head from the comfortable position that was located in your boyfriend’s chest, you bring your eyes up to Jaebeom who was fondly staring down at yours.

Taking one of the hands that he had wrapped around you, he gently moved the stray strands of hair that invaded your face. “Didn’t you miss me?” You shrugged as if him being gone didn’t affect you, “Not really. I actually enjoyed the peace and quiet I got.” You teasingly stuck your tongue out. Jaebeom placed both of his hands on your shoulders and softly inched you away from his body to take a wide view of you. “I mean, for not missing me, you sure do like to steal my clothes when I’m gone.. Are those my socks-”

“Okay- Maybe I missed you a little bit, shut up.” Jaebeom’s face softened as he placed the palm of his hand onto your cheek.

“I’m really sorry. I really didn’t think practice was gonna run that late, I should’ve told you but Yugyeom bought chicken and I was going at it.” The both of you burst out into laughter, you slapped his chest lightly as you jokingly hissed, “You chose chicken over me!?” Jaebeom lips pinched as he suddenly threw you over his shoulder, “What are you doing- let me down you giant-” You tried to worm out of his arms, but his grip was way too strong for you to get out of. “Stop flopping around before I drop you.” He warned, not listening, you continued to wiggle around like a fish out of water.

The sudden plop onto a soft cushion made you gasp. Your eyes clenched shut in fear as you were tossed onto the couch, “What the hell-” before you could begin your string of curses your boyfriend enveloped you into his arm. “Get off of me! I’m going to suffocate- I need to finish cleaning the kitchen,” you yelped. Your arms glued to your sides, you scuffled to escape his limbs once again, “No. Cuddle.” He mumbled softly into your hair.

The warmth of his body radiating off of him, you felt safe, the pleasant feeling of drowsiness washed over you. “Don’t you need to shower? You literally just came home from practice,” you yawned.

“Tired.” Is all Jaebeom managed to mutter as his breathing slowed down into a steady rhythm. The butterflies in your stomach failed to settle down as you lean into Jaebeom’s hold, your legs slowly entangling with his. Listening to the calm heartbeat of the man under you, you slowly let the feeling of sleepiness engulf you. Smiling as Jaebeom played with your hair as the two of you drifted off to sleep together.
