TO THE ISLAND
4 November 2014
A short hike to the pinnacles, a rocky exploration of an area that can only be assimilated to gates of Mordor, a quick surf in hypothermia inducing water, and the best bikini ass we as a collective have ever spotted. The island delivered.
Dead set though, this place has some mean Gelati.

Traralgon Thunder
January 7 2015
So after the monsoonal downpour of biblical proportions that was obviously intended to Noah's Ark out all the terrorists, who are trying to put a dampener on our shiny new 2015, Emma Kate and I decided to head out and try our luck at capturing the drier end of last night's incredible electrical storm.Â

Geminids Meteor Shower
13 December 2014
Last night we were fortunate enough to be celebrating Luke Inger's birthday in Seacombe, one of Gippsland's more remote and isolated locations, during "Geminids" which is being referred to as one of the most spectacular meteor showers of the year. After a big night of stargazing, I managed to capture this image at about 2.30am after everyone had head to bed and the high altitude cloud layer had finally disappeared.

Follow the Sun
October 10, 2014
Every year, my friend Orane, her twin sister Melisande and myself make a birthday video for each other. Each year, these videos get progressively better, and for 2014, i've hidden 7 individual geocaches that all reside within a 1.5 hour radius of my home town of Traralgon, where these two girls are coming to stay in the summer to locate this hidden birthday message.
If you find these caches before January 2015, be sure to leave a nice message for these two beautiful souls.

WEEKENDS Episode III - Soar
September 9 2014
What was originally an informal plan for a handful of friends to spend the day outside, actually ended up becoming an 11 person adventure day back where it all started at the beginning of the “Weekends” series – Wilson’s Promontory.Â
This installment showcases an amazing day spent hiking & flying kites through various places on Australia’s southernmost point, but mainly this video captures the shared excitement of being young, spontaneous, and wild.Â

THE WEEKENDS SERIES
Since moving back to Gippsland, I've noticed more and more people complaining that they need to leave. What people need to realise, is that we live in one of the greatest parts of Victoria. You just need to know how to enjoy it. I have therefore decided to make a web series titled "Weekends" showcasing what my friendship group and I do when we aren't working, in an effort to capture how amazing the place we live in can be.

Taking a photo of the moon last night was my original intention, however when we hiked out to the top of a mountain in the middle of the Jeeralang's to observe the stunning 'blood moon' lunar eclipse from an exclusive vantage point, id realised a simple shot of the red moon wouldn't give it justice. Rather than capturing the moon, I decided to capture the event. A spontaneous group of friends hiking out to the forest to observe one of nature's greatest spectacles - the night sky.
(NB: All stars, including galaxies are legitimately captured and not added in photoshop).

August 16 2014
It was a Saturday, the weather was starting to feel more like spring, and our plans to go to Hotham for the weekend fell through due to no room at the inn. We were young, we were free, and we had a full day of nothing to fill with adventure. Within an hour, we had 5 people assembled and ready for exploration.Â
With no real destination in mind, we decided to head up into gold mining region behind Walhalla in an effort to locate one of the many huts scattered through this part of Gippsland.Â
Roughly 10km out from our desired destination, we found an old gold mining town’s cemetery located on the side of a rather steep mountain. There was an information sign in the area stating that very little is known about who is buried in this graveyard, and if anyone has any information to contact the number indicated below. Naturally, we had to explore the place, and were amazed at the layout of the graveyard. Small, circular rings of quartz rocks identified the resting place of the individuals in question, in an orientation that i can only assume was buried vertically. There was definitely an element of creepy to this place, so we didn’t stick around.
Further down the road, we found the abandoned mine shaft. A good 30m deep hole cut in the top of a mountain, complete with kiln, chimney and large crankshaft. It’s incredible to see this stuff, as it’s a process that has just become entirely obsolete.
In our final moments searching for the fabled hut, it was getting clear we had ran out of time and needed to return home. Fortunately, for the remaining photos left on the film, a dense fog flooded the valley, and we were left with one hell of an awesome perspective of the forest.

Decided yesterday to just jump in the car, drive 2 hours, and run through the trees of this random, enchanted forest.
