It’s Halloween at Camp Half Blood and Apollo just had the best idea EVER: dress up as his son Will Solace! Get it, cause they look so much alike.
He drops off at camp at night, where there’s a party going on at the dining pavilion. Because using his powers will defeat the purpose of dressing himself up, his “costume” was carefully handcrafted (except the part where he had to shorten himself for an inch or two): he cut his hair into his son’s typical shaggy haircut, and he is sporting the signature white cotton blouse over the camp t-shirt, surfer shorts and flip flops.
Clueless campers ran into him, some chiding him for not coming to the party with a costume (thinking that Apollo was Will). Apollo is feeling smug and can’t wait for Will himself to see him, when Austin comes over with an excited smile on his face.
“Will! Will!” He shouts. Seeing ‘Will’s lack of costume, he rolls his eyes. “I can’t believe you didn’t bother finding a costume.” He sighs disapprovingly. He quickly recovers however, and didn’t notice Apollo’s attempt at not laughing out loud. “Anyway, just wanted to tell you, Dad came! Go say hi to him when you have the time!” He says, waving as he walks away.
With his mouth wide open, Apollo watches as his son walks away, as if he didn’t just drop a bomb on him. How could there be an Apollo when the real deal is right here? With newfound determination, he stalks towards the crowd at the center of the pavilion. After gently pushing campers away, while sarcastically saying “move guys I’d like to say hi to my dad” he finally comes face to face with the impostor.
At first glance, it was Apollo. He gotta say, whoever this impostor was, they nailed his hair and outfit.
At second glance, it was Apollo. Although he seemed to be shorter than the real Apollo for a few inches.
At third glance… it was Will Solace. His son. Who is cosplaying him and sprouting haikus at the campers.
Great minds really do think alike, huh.

The Olympian Gods and their modern day jobs
In an alternative universe, the gods have become weaker over time due to their decreasing amount of worshippers. In an effort to keep existing and retain some sort of power, they work jobs that are related to their domains. Zeus - CEO of an airline
Zeus could have chosen to become a climatologist since it fit his domains more. However, due to his arrogance, he preferred to become a CEO of an airline instead. He often travels from one place to another, and would look at the view from the plane window, reminiscing the good old times where he was still able to fly among the clouds. (Un)ironically, his airline’s name is Zeus Airways. Nobody finds that funny.
Poseidon - Oceanographer
Poseidon learned he can’t jump into the ocean and walk out of it two days later without his face on missing posters. So in order to still be able to visit his favorite place, he decided to become an oceanographer. He is renowned in his jobs, thanks to the “researches” he conducts by talking to marine species. Though, due to his weakened powers, he is now only half fluent in fish, so from time to time, he still has to work like everyone else.
Hades - Funeral parlor consultant
Hades loves his job. Really, he does. He gets to list off all the available cemeteries and the coffins that would best match the deceased’s blood shade with the enthusiasm of a ten year old. But he forgot to account for the grieving clients, his awkward personality and his horrible comforting skills. Add those three together with a pinch of bluntness and you get people running out of the shop with their skin matching the color of their deceased loved one. Worst of all, his boss happened to be Thanatos. How the tables have turned…
Hera - Marriage therapist
Hera might have thought it would be funny if she became a marriage therapist. If that was the case, then she did a wonderful job. Surprisingly though, Hera was good at what she does. Couples would come into her place with murdering glares and come out like they just got married the day before. If only she could put her skills to use in her own marriage, though… Despite Hera’s cold front, she and most of her clients became longtime friends.
Demeter - Soil and plant scientist
Demeter took the long end of the stick when it comes to “who suffered the most”. Thanks to the growing demography, agriculture rose. Though Demeter is still weaker than her prime, she’s in a pretty good place. She works as a soil and plant scientist, and honestly her job feels less like an obligation and more like a daily hangout with her lovely plants. Nonetheless, she is excellent at what she does, and tries her best to help feed the population by using sustainable ways, or else it might come to bite her ass a few decades later.
Hestia - Charity volunteer coordinator
Hestia works as a humble volunteer coordinator in a charity organization. Most of the volunteers happen to be pretty young people, so she enjoys teaching them the value of helping others without expecting anything in return. Consequently, she became quite a lovely figure among the staff at the organization. Hestia often does field work, especially during the winter where she would overuse the few amount of power she has to warm people.
Artemis - Olympic archer and women rights activist
Artemis is a renowned Olympic archer. She used to work in UN Women, however one day she watched the Olympic archery match and decided she could definitely do better than that. Long story short, in less than half a year, she was the most talked about archer at the Olympics. Artemis uses her platform to spread women rights. She is part of a team called “the hunters of artemis”. Somehow nobody mocks her for that, unlike Mr. Zeus Airways.
Apollo  - CSP worker (part time music ghostwriter)
Apollo used to be an opera singer. But he got tired of it quickly because it wasn’t as glorified as it used to be. When he saw aunt Hestia helping people like the angel she was, he decided to use his Youth domain to good use and became a CSP worker. He enjoys the job greatly, though none of his coworker enjoy his AWESOME personality (probably because they were jealous that he was the only non middle aged person, although he’s older than their entire family tree). He made sure to convey his frustrations through (seriously) amazing poems and post them online like the retarded man he is. People liked it, including some music labels, and that’s how he became a ghostwriter. One day, he might wake up, feel pretty, and announce to the entire world that “Barbie girl” was written by him.
Hermes - Marketing manager
Hermes often wonders where he found the patience to be working a desk job, and yet here he is, marketing manager of a known company. And he’s really good at what he does, obviously as the god of trade and wealth. And he knew how to slick his clients up and convince them to purchase their products. Hermes always wears a Hermès watch, because he finds it funny. His coworkers don’t, but then again it’s not like they’re aware he’s god either. But they keep accusing him of stealing their pen and lunches, which is a total lie, of course.
Ares - Military higher up
Ares likes beating people up. He thought he would be beating people up when he applied for the military. Then he forgot he was kind of an amazing being, and after blinking once, he was now a military higher up. And he doesn’t get to beat people up anymore because now he has to partake in meetings and stuff. Whenever he learns that Aphrodite is dating someone, he goes to yell at the recruits.
Athena - Senator
Athena also wanted to join the military, but Ares beat her to it. Now she’s a senator and she feels a little bit like the good old days sometimes.
Hephaestus - R&D engineer
Although Hephaestus could have jumped straight into the career thanks to his infinite knowledge, he decided to have the full human experience. He went to study in MIT, graduated with honors and started his job as R&D engineer. He found out a way to build a black hole resistant space craft but didn’t tell anyone about it because now wasn’t the right time.
Aphrodite - Model
Aphrodite was walking down the street one day when a model recruiting agent stopped her and begged her to give modeling a shot. Why not? Next thing she knew, she was a super model walking for high end brands at fashion shows all around the world. The cameras flashing at her and the cheers of her fans reminded her of the good old days where she was still worshipped by the Greeks. What is her diet you say? A pinch of glamour and lots of godly powers, of course!
Dionysus - Bartender
Dionysus looks at his family’s modern day jobs and laughs. He is smarter, stronger and better. His job as a bartender is the best thing that has ever happened to him (in past few years that is). Not only does he get to steal a few bottles for himself, but he also gets to inhale the club’s patrons’ energy, their sweating bodies sticking to each other as they dance to some weird song Apollo swore up and down that he wrote.

When Nico and Will announced their quest to the camp, their reaction wasn’t all that surprising: everybody had thought they’d gone mad. People didn’t just go to Tartarus and come back with all of themselves intact. In fact, most didn’t come back at all. So for them to willingly go there? Nobody took it well.
Despite that, the campers still bid them goodbye with encouragement and “good luck”’s. As per tradition, the Apollo cabin prepared a shroud for Will. Since Nico didn’t have any siblings at camp, they made one for him, too. As days go by, the campers all wait in silent anticipation and worry for the return of their head medic and the child of hades they’ve grown fond of.
It was on the two week mark when they returned. The campers had a capture the flag game that night, when suddenly, Nico slipped out of the shadows, drenched in blood. Will wasn’t faring any better. They were rushed to the infirmary, where they were taken care of.
The next morning, Nico disappeared into his cabin and didn’t come back. Will brushed everyone off with a reassuring smile, explaining that Nico needed some alone time after what happened at Tartarus. Nobody thought much about it– the son of hades had a lot of demons to deal with after all.
Whatever progress Nico did before their quest was ruined. He reverted back to his previous self, to the Nico who refused to stay with others, to the Nico who hid in his cabin. He barely talked to the few friends he made at camp, either. With every passing day, his eye bags got darker, and his skin more pale looking. Nowadays, he was either in his cabin or reluctantly talking to Dionysus.
It was clear to everyone that Will tried his best to help Nico. He reminded him to eat, to sleep, he was there when he had night terrors, he often urged him to the infirmary if he got a little bit sick. Although Nico wasn’t in the best place mentally, he still managed weak smiles and tight hugs to convey his gratitude to his boyfriend.
Everyone tried their best to make Nico feel comfortable at camp, and not to cross any boundaries. They made sure to pay attention to his mood and what not. So much so, they didn’t notice that Nico wasn’t the only one who changed.
One moment nobody knew, and the next, the entire camp was whispering about it. It started when Austin received a camera from his mother for his birthday. He urged his siblings to pose for a family photo together, under the sun. When the photo was printed, he stared at it with a smile, admiring their happy faces and their shining eyes. That is until he noticed Will.
Will, just like everyone else, was smiling. His grin was wide and almost split his face in half, his left dimple popping out. It would have looked endearing, if it wasn’t for the fact that his blue eyes were dull, devoid of light. If Austin were to cover the bottom half of his brother’s face, his eyes looked even more… unsettling.
During dinner, he noticed it too. His brother talked and laughed just as usual, however, his eyes looked dull and almost… dead. They didn’t hold any emotion whatsoever, as if his laughs and teases were only for show… was it?
Austin talked about it to Kayla. Then Kayla mentioned it to her buddies at the archery range.
Next thing they know, the entire camp would subtly glance at the head medic’s eyes, and their worries were confirmed once they saw the dark and lightless blue staring into the horizon, as if he simply wasn’t there.

Will Solace’s potential fatal flaws: a character analysis and theory.
Welcome! I’ve been working on this post for awhile now ever since I noticed that Will Solace does not have a fatal flaw. While I believe it would probably be revealed in the upcoming Solangelo book, for the time being, why not make a post on his potential fatal flaws based on what we’ve seen so far of him in canon?
In this post, we will be theorizing on Will’s potential fatal flaws, based on his scenes in the canon series– ranging from the original PJO series to the most recent TOA series.
DISCLAIMER: Although I had to revisit most books in which I remember he appeared in, some things in this post may be incorrect– such as context, book titles etc– if so, do correct me (but respectfully)! The quotes I will be using will be recycled throughout the post, not because I’m lazy but because the same thing could insinuate many different things. Like I keep on saying in my post, Will so far is a pretty non-developed character. There is big room for interpretation but very little for actual facts. We might be leaning a bit towards fanon– but I made sure it’ll stay as canon as possible. Pls I’m running this shit with crumbs here.
And now, onto the post! Buckle up, it’ll be a long one.
INTRODUCTION:
-What is a fatal flaw?
The concept of fatal flaw originated from Ancient Greece. Alternatively, it can also be called a “Tragic flaw” or “Hamartia”. Like its name indicates, a fatal flaw is an emotional or psychological weakness that could lead a mortal/demigod/immortal to their downfall, or, to put it more dramatically, their death. In the PJO series, death caused by one’s fatal flaw is not unheard of. Thus, it is not all that dramatic either given the fact that it could happen to anyone if they do not learn to control it.
-What causes a fatal flaw?
Personally, the cause for one’s fatal flaw could vary. The fatal flaw could stem from (but not limited to):
one’s talent–Annabeth’s hubris due to her intelligence.
one’s experiences– Luke’s excessive wrath due to his childhood.
one’s godly parentage– like how most Athena kids have hubris as their fatal flaw.
one’s personality, a trait they were simply born with.
-Will Solace’s fatal flaw?
I firmly believe that Will Solace’s fatal flaw stems from the most important part of him– the fact that he is healer. Being a healer is the prominent characteristic of Will. This is what shaped him. Thus, I believe his fatal flaw is also linked to his healer side.
1. Responsibility
/rɪˌspɒnsɪˈbɪlɪti/
noun -the state or fact of having a duty to deal with something or of having control over someone.
-the state or fact of being accountable or to blame for something.
I included the two definitions of the word because I feel like both could be applied to Will.
This is the most obvious one, what’s with his responsibility as the head medic (and probably the only medic with healing powers) at camp. As well as the fact that he is the oldest sibling of a cabin full of children, and his duty as a counselor. So basically, Will’s responsibility include (but are probably not limited to): head medic, oldest Apollo child and Apollo cabin counselor. Having been a healer since he was TWELVE, and being responsible of a cabin full of children (and consequently taking on more of a parental role than a sibling role for them), Will Solace has a pretty heavy baggage.
So being exposed to this much responsibility since a very young age, it wouldn’t be surprising if Will feels responsible for everyone that’s surrounding him. And believing that he has to intervene in every situation because he feels like it is his duty. Alternatively, this could explain his… admittedly hilarious tendency of speaking up in tension heavy situations. Perhaps it is not necessarily responsibility that pushes him to act this way (sounds a little bit more like recklessness/impulsiveness), but I decided to include that trait of his in this part anyway.
BULLETPOINT 1:
In the Hidden Oracle, after Kayla and Austin’s disappearance, although Will was just as shaken as the others, he knew he had a responsibility at camp and needed to tend to the injured first and foremost.
I was stunned by his tone. I realized he was just as concerned about Kayla and Austin as I was. The only difference: Will knew his duty. He had to heal the injured first. And he needed my help.
BULLETPOINT 2:
Will defended Rachel against Clarisse, calming the latter down before things could go south.
“She’s right.” Will Solace, head counsellor for the Apollo cabin, put his hand gently on Clarisse’s wrist. Not many campers could’ve done that without getting stabbed, but Will had a way of defusing people’s anger. He got her to lower her dagger. “Everyone in our cabin has been affected. It’s not just Rachel.”
It is explicitly stated that not many people could do such a thing, and yet he did. I believe he knew that he could’ve potentially attract Clarisse’s anger, and yet he still took the risk to calm her down.
BULLETPOINT 3 (speculation):
Every time someone dies from an injury, I believe Will would be blaming himself. He would wonder what he did wrong, and doubt his powers and abilities.
BULLETPOINT 4 (impulsiveness/recklessness):
Here is Will preventing a war from erupting between two opposing camps. What a creative way to save yourself from spending the entire night tending to injured machos! /j
Will Solace saved the day.
He put his fingers in his mouth and did a taxicab whistle even more horrible than the last. Several Greeks dropped their swords. A ripple went through the Roman line like the entire First Cohort was shuddering.
“DON’T BE STUPID!” Will yelled. “LOOK!”
BULLETPOINT 5:
“No one hits my boyfriend,” Will thundered. “And no one kills my dad!”
Quite a courageous thing to say in a room full of powerful ennemies!
Responsibility as his fatal flaw;
Will would bite more than he can chew, always taking responsibility for everything. The responsibilities would all stack onto his back, becoming overbearing. He would feel responsible for every bad thing that happens, believing that he could have done something to prevent it. He would speak up and do potentially dangerous/reckless things, thinking that it is his responsibility to do so.
2. Stubbornness
/ˈstʌbənnəs/
noun
dogged determination not to change one's attitude or position on something.
Just like all of his potential fatal flaws, Will’s stubbornness stems from the fact that he is a healer since a very young age. He has been responsible for his patients and KNOWS what to do when they’re under his care. He also knows what a person in pain needs, thanks to his expertise in medicine as well as his vitakinesis. Imagine being able to tell what’s wrong with someone with a single touch, and thanks to your knowledge, you also know what to do to heal it. What else would you need then? You would firmly believe that your opinion is a fact, that you are right in every sense of the word and don’t need anyone to change that opinion. Hence Will’s stubbornness and his refusal to hear out what others have to say.
BULLETPOINT 1:
In The Blood of Olympus, Will kept on insisting that Nico needs to rest ever since he found out about his transparent body. In fact he only relented when the latter agreed.
“Coach Hedge told me all about your shadow-travel. You can’t try that again.”
“I just did try it again, Solace. I’m fine.”
“No, you’re not. I’m a healer. I could feel the darkness in your hand as soon as I touched it. Even if you made it to that tent, you’d be in no shape to fight. But you wouldn’t make it. One more slip, and you won’t come back. You are not shadow-travelling. Doctor’s orders.”
BULLETPOINT 2:
Short one, but Nico himself described Will as stubborn.
“And Will Solace … Nico revised his impression of the son of Apollo. He’d always thought of Will as easygoing and laid back. Apparently he could also be stubborn and aggravating.”
Stubbornness as his fatal flaw;
Will would refuse to listen to what others have to say (especially when it comes to medical terms), believing that what he is saying is right.  And even if he IS right, he wouldn’t change his decision by listening to what others have to say. This could be borderline hubris.
3. Reticence
/ˈrɛtɪs(ə)ns/
noun
the quality of being reticent; reserve.
When you are a healer/doctor, you have to stay composed at all times, for the sake of not worrying your patients. This must be a trait Will has developed pretty early on( given that he started healing at the age of twelve. If he is constantly hiding his emotions during his work, and he works almost all the time– Will could have naturally developed a kind of wall around himself as a habit. Never talking about how he’s feeling– especially the negative emotions.
Will’s approach could be more subtle than Nico’s explicit “NO I DON’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT MY FEELINGS”.
To learn more about this, you can read this awesome post
BULLETPOINT 1:
I was stunned by his tone. I realized he was just as concerned about Kayla and Austin as I was. The only difference: Will knew his duty. He had to heal the injured first. And he needed my help.
BULLETPOINT 2:
This is quite an explicit proof of his emotional reticence, and the fact that it is linked with him being a healer.
Will laughed under his breath. “I’m terrified. But one thing you learn as head counselor: you have to keep it together for everyone else. Let’s get you on your feet.“
BULLETPOINT 3:
This is said about Will’s personality on his wiki.
He has also developed a kind of shell, meaning that even in extremely stressful situations he at least looks calm and collected.
Reticence as his fatal flaw;
Will would always insist that he is fine and never talk about his feelings. He would close himself up, and worse of all, he is good at hiding. Will would bottle up every negative emotion he feels for the sake of looking composing in front of his patients. Until the day he cracks and spills everything.
4. Altruism
/ˈaltruːɪz(ə)m/
noun
disinterested and selfless concern for the well-being of others.
Having so much responsibilities, it is natural for Will to always put others above himself, as the big brother/counselor/head medic. Consequently, he ignore his own desires and emotions (see previous fatal flaw) in favor of helping others.
BULLETPOINT 1:
During the battle of Manhattan, after witnessing his brother’s death, Will is whisked away by Percy to go heal Annabeth. And he didn’t bring up Michael once. Instead, he was focused on healing Annabeth, and he ignored his brother death in favor of saving someone else– the lover of his brother’s (indirect) killer.
BULLETPOINT 2:
In the hidden oracle, Will had to put aside his desire to go search for his siblings in order to heal some campers. He directly admitted wanting to go find Kayla and Austin.
“I got it reattached,” Will told me, his voice shaky with exhaustion. His scrubs were speckled with blood. “I need somebody to keep him stable.”
I pointed to the woods. “But—”
“I know!” Will snapped. “Don’t you think I want to be out there searching too? We’re shorthanded for healers. There’s some salve and nectar in that pack. Go!”
BULLETPOINT 3:
This is said about Will’s personality on his wiki.
With a tendency to overwork himself, Will is extremely dedicated to his work, even going so far as to not sleeping for days on end.
Altruism as his fatal flaw;
Will would put everyone above his own needs and desires, consequently ignoring his own health and well-being. This could be dangerous, because well, overworking can be bad for his health. Not sleeping for days on end is bad for his health on both short and long terms. His own altruism will weaken him considerably.
CONCLUSION
So in conclusion, all of Will’s fatal flaws (at least to me) has something to do with the fact that he is a healer. If you noticed how the proposed fatal flaws are quite similar, then you have a keen eye. They are indeed pretty similar, with only little to differentiate.
I’m looking forward to learning more about Will, both of his good sides and bad sides in the upcoming Solangelo book.
Have any thoughts? Which fatal flaws do you think he most likely has?

Wish list for nico solo book, Part-2.
GUNMAN WILL!! (pls put a gun in his hands)
Let Will say fuck. the boys say fuck
wills relationship with his late siblings and how their death affected him should be discussed.
Naomi being an absent parent due to busy schedules and celeb lifestyle and spoiling will as a compensation.
We need more of Dionysus being a father figure to nico.
EXPLAIN THE GODDAM SUN TATTOO(why??is it there in the first place??it better be because will got it as a tribute to his dead siblings and honoring their legacy)
Will's starwars obsession and nico's mythomagic obsession
Nico simping for Will in his pov
And Will giving a page long monologue about how beautiful and lovely and brave nico is and all his other good qualities in his pov (cuz till now we only had ppl describe nico as 'scary', 'creepy' and 'dangerous' in other povs so it would be nice to have someone tell his good qualities and praise him in their pov for once.
No more happy-go-lucky ray of sunshine bubbly cinnamon roll soft bean will solace trope. Society has progressed past the need of it.(how are we feeling about resting bitch face will solace, huh?)
Let him have other emotions other than happiness and optimism
I sincerely hope this book is not all about tartarus because we already know what's in there and I don't want the same thing repeating (tartarus will loose its novelty and it'll also not be engaging to the readers anymore cuz we can alredy guess what happens)
Will was mentioned to be strong. Make use of it in the books
PLS LET IT BE A SERIES NOT A SINGLE BOOK
can we talk more about Will Solace as a character and not just A boyfriend???
We need to talk about will'svoice/music related apollo powers(Will happens to have used just his voice and command a room full of germani and save the day, what was that about was it just a random thing?is his voice just that commanding? Or does will have somesort of charmspeak/siren type apollo related voice powers??we need more explanation)
CAN WILLIAM ANDREW SOLACE JUST GO APESHIT FOR SOME WHILE??? (pls)
Nico learning more about modern technology and all the stuff he missed out
Will's powers (we need to know how vast do they expand?and how he can improve them)
An awkward interaction between nico and hades
Also give will some throwing daggers pr knives
DID I FORGET TO MENTION WILL'S BACKSTORY!
AND PROPER POTRAYAL OF PSTD AND PSYCHOSIS!!
I just really want a scene with nico laughing,(like the rolling on the floor laughter type, cuz my boy deserves it)
a big fight before or after going to tartarus
No stupid stereotypes (I don't wanna see nico limp wristing or anything like that)
Don't break them up or kill them(tho I'm 100% sure rick won't do it to the first canon queer couple cuz he knows the fans are gonna kill him if he did it)
Here's part 1 and part 3

Has it been revealed yet whose POV we’re going to get for the solangelo book? Because I’m seriously torn.
On one hand, it’d be nice to have Nico’s POV on things for once. He’s been described as a lot of things throughout the books, by various different people. It is known that he has been through some serious shit. But what about Nico himself? What does he think of all of this? I want to hear his thoughts. I know we did technically get his pov in HoO but that’s crumbs compared to the potential batch of bread we might get. I’d like to especially see how he views his relationship with Will, given that he was born in the 30’s and grew up in a homophobic environment. And also his thoughts throughout his self healing journey.
But on the other hand, Will’s POV would be a great idea to introduce the readers to his character. So far, we don’t know that much about Will, so it’d be nice to learn about the way he views things through his narration, as well as his personality as a whole– I’ve said it plenty of times and I’ll say it again, Will Solace has a lot of potential to be a well written character! Also, what is Nico like through the eyes of someone that genuinely loves him (for once)?
Either way, we need to get the storytime on how they got together. BUT ON WHOSE POV?? I’m torn between both.
Anyways, I can’t wait for the book to drop. It’s been… *checks watch* YEARS-

Wouldn’t it be funny if everyone in PJO believes Will to be this sort of harmless guy, unable to do a single bad thing to anybody , as well as possessing a very strong moral compass solely based on the fact that he is a healer? At least most of the fandom seems to think so.
But I digress.
On today’s episode of “Attributing interesting quirks to Will” aka “Picking up little things from canon and running with it”,
I present to you: “You overestimate my morality”, as Will’s catchphrase.
“You overestimate my morality!” Will laughs as the campers put him on standby during capture the flag, reasoning that he would never fight another camper. He was the head medic, after all!
“You overestimate my morality!” Will responds to his enemy’s taunts, while holding their ally as a hostage, gun pointing at their head. “You let go of Nico and I won’t shoot them dead.” He threatens.
“You overestimate my morality.” Will says, eerily calm, as the flowers of the underworld surrounding him start to wither. The air is full of an aura of death– of plague, and surprisingly, it didn’t radiate from the son of Hades. No, it all came from Will. Nico laid unconscious in his arms. “You think I’m above killing you, but really, I’m not.” He laughs humorlessly, as he watches them cough up blood from invisible wounds. “But just as I can easily save a life, I can take one, too.”
He smiles. “Salvation and Destruction are the different sides of a same coin, after all.”
Will Solace might have insisted that Connor refrains from robbing a store, but is he above using unethical means when push comes to shove? Or killing the one who hurt his loved ones? I don’t think so :)

Headcanon that Will has lots of raw strength for no reason. Cause come on, he has a surfer body despite not being a fighter. Like it would be downright comedic how strong he is, kind of like Yor from Spy x Family!
Will has a tendency to playfully punch people when they make a joke or say something particularly funny. Except that the fun would always die down real quick cause ouch his punches hurt a little bit too much to be considered as playful punches.
The Ares cabin is hosting an arm wrestling match. When Will joins in, they can’t help but laugh. Like come on, the head healer in an arm wrestling match against a bunch of macho kids? He’s up against Sherman, and five seconds in Will smashes the son of Ares’ against the table. Him being insecure is convinced that Sherman went easy on him just to mock him, but Sherman’s like “yeah…sure…but like can you check over my hand pls I think u broke smth…”
After overworking himself at the infirmary, he is officially banned from the place for at least a week. Now that he’s not on healing duty anymore, Will is forced to participate in capture the flag. Before the game, Kayla brings him to the armory and asks him to choose a weapon. Will waves her off and tells her he won’t need any of it. True to his words, he eliminated the other players simply by punching them in the gut or decking them. By the end of the night, there was a bunch of groaning campers trudging to the infirmary asking for some ice for their bruises. So much so that Will had to intervene to help the packed infirmary, and he did so with a smug smile.
After another capture the flag game (in which Will didn’t have to participate in, thank gods), a few campers ended up passing out. Kayla and Austin offer to bring stretchers, but Will’s like “nah I got this”, then proceeds to throw two (2) campers over his shoulders (one each), and grab two (2) other campers in his arms (one each). And then walks away like it’s nothing.
(The only reason they didn’t fall off from his shoulders is thanks to their broadness.)
One day, the dock got destroyed for some reason. During the reconstruction, some campers volunteered to help, including Will and Nico. Their job is to bring materials from the big house all the way to the lake. Will is casually holding a near 300 pounds pillar over his shoulder, while Nico is holding two boxes full of rocks. Halfway through their journey to the lake, Nico abruptly stops. “What’s wrong?” Will asks, not a drop of sweat in sight. Meanwhile Nico is panting hard and fully drenched in sweat. “W-wait, let’s take a break-” he wheezes. “Oh! You’re tired? Here, let me help!” Will smiles, then proceeds to somehow grab the two boxes with ONE (1) arm. Nico is staring at him like he grew a second head. Will, oblivious to the feat he just accomplished, tilts his head. “Do you want me to give you a piggy ride? Here, grab onto my back!”
Safe to say Will Solace is one hell of an interesting specimen.

Pjo but it’s like a death game.
Every year demigods are brought to camp half blood. But in this universe, demigods are just born as demigods with no particular godly parents (bear w/ me). So instead of being claimed by parents, they have to participate in a death game.
And it’s an actual death game. The kind where if you get eliminated, you die. More like if you die you eliminated cause the games will be some crazy fight-for-your-life kind of death games.
Since there is only 20 cabins at the camp, there will only be 20 winners/survivors each year. You will be claimed by a god depending on which place you win. So for example, if you win first place, Zeus claims you and you get assigned to Zeus’ cabin. Third place and you get claimed by Poseidon. So on so forth!

PJO but it’s genshin impact.
Okay but imagine this— Fatui Harbinger Will Solace.
You’ve got scary Harbingers like Percy who could easily drown a country with a snap. Annabeth who is a strategic genius and could be plotting the downfall of a nation but no one would be ever aware. Nico who is literally the lord of the dead.
Then you have Will, with his calming vibe and faraway look. Unlike the other fatui harbingers, he doesn’t look intimidating at all, especially given the fact that his main ability is to heal. And because of it, he is often underestimated. Why did the Tsaritsa even choose him? But beware, Will Solace might not be able to summon the dead or cause tsunamis, but he could easily kill a nation by inflicting a plague.

My first impression of Childe is the complete opposite of who he actually is.
I thought he was one of the good guys. Bitch no he’s actually a bad guy. I thought he was a mediocre character but he’s actually a five star 😭
Am I the only one who thought he was the MC–

PJO but it’s a Jujutsu Kaisen AU/crossover. Instead of gods we have clans. Camp Half Blood is something more like Half Blood Curse Technical College(?)
Nico is a powerful jujutsu sorcerer coming from the Hades clan, one of the three major sorcerer clans. His curse technique could be similar to Fushiguro’s, in the way that it both involves shadows. Bianca though, died after being killed by a curse.
Will is from the Apollo clan. He is one of the few people being able to use the rare ability of reverse curse technique. However his biggest insecurity is his lack of combat skills.
Oh and they fall in love?
At this point I’m just putting all of my thoughts into words XD

Give me a 100k+ fic where Nico, Will and Percy (don’t ask me why he’s here) go on a quest to retrieve something. An object let’s say. Turns out the object is with a pilot, so they end up boarding on the flight the pilot is flying. For 2/3 of the fic they’re just trying to figure out how to make it to the cockpit without getting caught. When they miraculously make it, they find out that both the pilot and the co-pilot are monsters. They end up killing them and retrieve the object, only to realize that now there’s technically nobody to fly the plane.
Cue to panic. The oh-shit-we-may-have-just-doomed-400-passengers-and-ourselves kind of panic. Percy suggests he prays to his father and they just let the plane crash into the ocean but nobody dies. Nico suggests he shadow travels the entire crew, one by one– which obviously got rejected. Then Will chimes in and casually reveals he flew a plane before. All eyes are on him.
And then the last third of the fic aka the climax just consists of Will learning how to land a fucking Boeing 747-8 even though he only has 150 flying hours. Oh and of course he has to manage to 1, not crash the flight; 2, not to land in Tokyo given that their destination is supposed to be London. Luckily it’s a transcontinental flight so he has alllll the time in the world to figure this shit out. Good luck Will!

Person A is a vampire, and is EXTREMELY attracted to Person B’s (their partner) blood. Problem is, person B is anemic.
