Music video debut at Otakon causes massive fangasm

From Otakon staff: “The premier at Otakon went very well! There were about one thousand people in the audience. When I announced that we had the new world premier video from Leet Street Boys there was a lot of applause, and the video itself got another big round at the end. We were using our new media server which could play at full resolution so the video looked gorgeous (in past years everything was scaled down due to limitations). We also had the sound properly calibrated so it looked and sounded great. I’m glad people enjoyed it. I know Matt and his animators have been working their butts off to get it ready to show. Congrats!”

LeetStreet Boys released their new animated music video music video “Imaginary Boys” this week. The video premiered at Otakon this past weekend, and past videos have been watched by over 3 million people. “Imaginary Boys” features the outstanding anime artwork of Thai artist Songwut Ouppakarndee as well as LeetStreet Boys signature mix of romance and humor.

LeetStreet Boys is an anime otaku band that gained international attention in 2008 with their breakout single and music video “Yuri The Only One”. Widely recognized as one of the first western anime bands to gain recognition based on being genuine, innovative otaku artists, the band continues to produce music, multimedia, and live concert performances.
