What you can't give, receive or take..

..is Family. One of the most basic form of connection we establish since they're just woven into our lives. Together, we build on the pattern that has existed since our final mutation into humans.

Our DNA is proof of our complexity, yet it's much like everyone else's. A mere pattern of what we should look like and the inevitable flaws of our well-being.

But who we are isn't genetic. It's serendipitous and fluid, like the rings forming after a rock is thrown into a lake. We absorb the rock in its entirety, and it causes a reaction. The reaction will fade out eventually, but the rock is still at the bottom.

Many families throw these rocks at each other, just because of the difference in who we are. The same families can come together just to honor that specific pattern they're all a part of. Family tree, bloodline, descendants.. Feels like a fraternity.

Cherish individuality, love the unknown, and break the loop.

Just thought of a new hashtag. It resonated with me and one of my philosophies. It's about the expectations set in giving someone something.

People often say, "Give and take."

I always say, "Give and receive."

The difference is that taking something because you feel that they deserve it, because you have given something, is egotistical.

When giving, you should always give from your heart to spread love to the one who receives. Therefore, you should never take something but instead wait until you're receiving something that comes from the heart.

So I'm starting a new trend, #GEOFÅ to get people to express themselves in the right way. The hashtag is in Swedish, but since that's where I'm living it makes sense, and I'd never heard my version of the phrase before.
