synopsis: you share a bed with the black clover cast

a/n: this is quite old, so the quality of writing will have decreased

ASTA prefers being close to you when sleeping, due to the circumstances of the orphanage— a pile of kids bundled up in rags, lulled into dreams with open-mouthed breaths. Of course, quite lively when all wake. Here; it was just pleasant, being able to just huddle up, or place an arm around you if you're comfortable with it.

Sometimes there's lingering guests; whether it it's Liebe perched on the shelf right above, or Nero, parallel from him, flitting feathers allowing her to hover.

But, they will depart if asked, both bidding a monotone ‘sleep well’. Yet, it is a truthful prayer— albeit the fact they have horns, a symbol of forbidden matters.

They’re good though, and the amount of time you'll stick with Asta, sharing a bed with him every night available, you’re going to learn that very quickly.

Your mana gives off a warm film, its welcoming properties leaving his wide-blown eyes to droop in contentedness. Saps out the excess energy.

Also, ki can notify him of your state, too wary, or spent. If it happens to be the latter, he sometimes will kiss you until your energy is exhausted to the point of being unable to reciprocate them. The cheeks often, as well to the place adjacent, the plump of your lips. He chuckles, with you feeling each rise and fall is his chest.

He moves in his sleep a lot, but on a reduced scale when compared to his younger years. You find his drowsy antics endearing, a stubby leg peeking out the covers.

Asta may have elbowed you in the face a couple times. He apologises after waking up, and does endeavours to become better at controlling it. “I'll never give up! I’ll train until I don't hurt you in my sleep!”

Now, he’ll never forgets to say goodnight if he isn't out on a mission— words suffused in an uncharacteristic voice of whispers. “Goodnight, y/n,” his eyelashes curtain over his eyes, “sleep well.”

NOZEL, of course, owns a bed that suffices for the both of you— and certainly for any future children. If so, it’ll need childproofing since you like to roll around it it. After all, it’s the very embodiment of a soft texture.

He ensures the bed is quite tidy, draping the covers over all four corners. After all, only the best for you. Therefore, refrain from eating on the bed. Just don’t. As should should know, only the best for you.

Go ahead and twirl his hair, feel the silver curls fray beneath fingertips. But, he rouses easily in general, so once he drifts into a slumber, it would be best to stop playing with his hair.

In the depths of morning, if you really want to, you can resume rumpling it. Or even better, untangle his knot-cluttered hair for him. That'd be much appreciated, an act of service as they call it.

It was quite.. odd at first for him, to share a bed with another. He rarely had an opportunity to do this due to many reasons if at all, therefore it took awhile to get to hold him there (or vice-versa), this little ritual being a new show of vulnerability.

If it’s with you, he will not only bear it, but take it in stride. Especially in the event of being plagued with nightmares, he has never been more grateful for you presence— for it’s comforting in itself.

Before heading to bed he always hangs his uniform in an accessible place, and reviews his schedule for tomorrow, per routine.

Nozel tells you to sleep without him, for he is going to join later. Though, you remain at his side, and he will intend to do the same— for as long as he lives, he won’t leave you on the account of someone else.

DOROTHY tries to stay awake to revel in the moment, to be able to respond, gracing you with those soft laughs whilst chatting together. Amidst this, she'll wound up holding your hand, hat strewn somewhere else— in which reveals puffy spirals. It’s adorable, so you like patting her head as you rarely have a chance.

“y/n dear, I think that’s perfect!”

Will reassure you if you have any worries to spill, placating them in a voice utterly rid of pity. She also brings you inside the Glamour World on occasion, personal expanse on display.

Since the spell can tire its visitors out, you can stay up for a little while as it'd be without effort to fall asleep. But, health is a priority, even if not stressed on, so Dorothy won’t keep you up too long. Or so, she intends.

If you’re having trouble sleeping, expect to pay a visit there as well. Her midnight (or just nightly in general) snacks are superior, after all.

Other times, she’ll fall asleep quickly, even breaths filling the otherwise silent room. You squeeze her hand gently, thinking of of tender wishes in times of peace like this. Tender dreams. Those that your witch can make a reality with you, and only you.
