Do I love being a parent?

I watched the first movie last night and wow they are such babys. It really shows that one of the reasons we are so attached to these characters are because we watch them grow up year by year. You watch their happy moments and their sad ones. You really just feel like their your babys and you want to protect them and hope they succeed and no harm is done against them. But sadly this trio is always in pain. Like aghhh the pain of being a parent, it’s so tough but worth it.

So do I like being a parent? Yes. Would I be less scarred if my children weren’t the main characters of a book series where they are in constant danger? Also yes.

Hizzie=Hope + Lizzie from Legacies(Series hasn’t finished but I feel like they won’t end up together no matter how much I want them to be together)

Klamille= Klaus + Camille from The Originals

Violate=Violet + Tate from AHS:Murder House(Yes I know they do end up together in Apocalypse but we had to wait forever for that so I had already gone through the stages of grief for this ship)

Like someone wake me up and tell me to stop putting myself through pain. Cause I be unknowingly setting myself up for failure. Except for Spanish princess and Anidala because I knew they both didn’t stay together forever so the pain is even more real when watching these couples in love. So sometimes I do knowingly make myself go through this pain,so that’s fun. When I tell you these are my top ships, Literati, Anidala and Hizzie are my OTPs, aghhhhh the pain!

So if you’re ever gonna ask me if love is real.... my answer is no. And my case are the reasons above.

Want a perfect reason why to never trust tumblr or just any social media platform...

How is this not canon? How are they not canon?

This is what happens when you go on tumblr, watch edits and the only stuff you know about a movie is fan canon! Like I believed forever these two were together and they’re not?! I lived a lie and that’s why I never trust what people post because I’m out here thinking we’ve got a cute gay couple living their dark academia life but we don’t. Like why do people post cute shit about people and I fall in love with them and the relationship that apparently doesn’t exist and I realise the people who created these characters really didn’t feel the need to make it real. Missed opportunity and now I feel sad :(

Reminds me of this couple:

I watched so many edits of them without watching the show and truly believed they were together. When I did decide to watch it, In the first episode alone I knew the writers knew what they were doing. In the novel they are together but China said no! For the show they knew they were more than friends/‘brothers’ but said no, not for you guys. Just have all these scenes where they are in love but never have them in a relationship. So finding out they weren’t together was heartbreaking and I blame the people who made the beautiful edits of this ship. Full on titanic going on.

So this is my diss track towards people in any fandom who make me fall in love with non-canon ships

Okay but something about this aesthetic is so pleasing. Like it’s so pretty but also ugly simultaneously. Pretty neon lights and billboards but on ugly overrun buildings in a dense overpopulated city. It’s so futuristic and it could so possibly happen because we’re totally going towards this direction. Overpopulation? Advancement in technology? Corrupt governments? If we get all the bad stuff surely we can get the cool stuff too. Like if you ever thought about what the world would look like in the future but cool and you didn’t think of a neon lit city at night, you’re lying. I best live to see the day where we’re flying around on hoverboards like in Back to the Future 2. Like I thought this was what the future would be so bad and the idea I’m not gonna live in it. CRIMINAL! So here’s the cyberpunk aesthetic for y’all so I can fantasise about it some more and wait till I can finally get my grubby hands on Ready Player Two. And obviously this is just my version of the aesthetic which could be viewed similarly or completely different. And although it’s a cool world it would also be horrible.

i know all eyes are on the presidential candidates for this election, and rightfully so, but some very wonderful and important things are happening statewide that should be celebrated and highlighted, so here’s a few:

Florida passed Amendment 2, which will raise minimum wage to $15/hour by 2026

South Dakota, Montana, Arizona and New Jersey all passed an amendment that legalized marijuana 

Utah will now be removing gendered language in the Utah Constitution and will replace it with gender-neutral language

California passed Prop 17, which restores voting rights to previously imprisoned citizens

Delaware elected Sarah McBride, the first ever openly trans state senator

Ritchie Torres and Mondaire Jones are the first ever openly gay black members of congress

Cori Bush is the first ever woman of color to win a seat in Congress in Missouri

Mauree Turner became the first non-binary state lawmaker in America and the first Muslim member of the Oklahoma state house

Oregon has become the first state to decriminalize all drugs (small amounts of cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and other drugs will have lesser punishments, similar to traffic tickets, and no jail time.)

Kim Jackson is the first out LGBTQ+ state senator in Georgia

Jabari Brisport became New York’s first gay Black member of the house

Arizona flipped blue for the first time in 24 years

Voters in Colorado overwhelmingly rejected Prop 115, a state ballot measure that would have banned abortions after a fetus reaches 22 weeks gestational age. In rejecting the initiative, Colorado remains one of the most progressive states in the country on reproductive rights

Nebraska passed a constitutional amendment to the state constitution that closes the loophole of the U.S. Constitution’s 13th Amendment that allowed slavery as a punishment for crimes

Rhode Island passed a measure to rename the state, officially naming it Rhode Island and not The State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, due to connections to slavery

Oregon passed measure 109, the first state to legalize psilocybin (mushrooms) for mental heath treatments

Hawai’i elected native Hawaiian Kaiali’i “Kai” Kahele, a Democrat, to the House of Representatives. He is one of 6 Native members of the House who will be sworn in in January
