When it comes to looking at Astarion the only thing that Minthara can think of doing on the spot is just wrecking his absolute sanity for the sake of pure psychological warfare.

i know some of you have been pressing your faces to the glass waiting for me to see this one in particular SO i saw "the nurses" the other night and am still thinking about it!!
i love love love it when characters get pushed to a point where you can almost see their childhood selves pop out, like are they even talking about what's happening right now? or are their 12-year-old hearts just screaming?? i love that margaret's outburst is both irrational (the hostile work environment is coming from inside the house; i was yelling at my tv "baby it's your fault!!!") and so so honest.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[this turned into a bit of a character thesis, so not only is there a readmore, there will also be a reblog soon with the rest of the post because i maxed out the image limit] [edit: part ii now in the reblogs!]
this whole time, margaret has treated her subordinates with a heavy hand because she thinks it's the right and fair thing to do. the rules say this is how it works!
she maintains a high standard of excellence in brutal circumstances, but she's also reactive, moody, and unforgiving. she's often shown on the edge of losing control and authority, she inflames situations by overreacting, and the thing she punishes most egregiously is disrespect (toward frank, toward the army, toward herself). she intentionally underlines the distance between herself and the other nurses at every turn.
from season 3 "there's nothing like a nurse": [all IDs in alt]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
really, everything she thinks and does comes from a place of "they're not supposed to like me," but the childish part of her that is completely unable to see her own behavior is confused and hurt because "i'm just doing my job so why don’t they like me???"
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
it's her job to maintain discipline, but especially here in 4077-land, she doesn't have to lead with the whip. henry was beloved because he was an overly permissive clown, which will never be her speed, but colonel potter has all the same training as she does. he's loved and respected as the Good Regular Army Guy because he leads with discernment and mutual respect.
it's easier for him. he's more experienced, he's respected and supported from above and below, and he has a calm temperament — which isn't nothing.
from season 4 "the interview":
Tumblr media Tumblr media
whether she's aware of this as a problem or not, we at home can see how margaret's inability to control her emotional reactivity causes her as much grief as her inability to control other people.
if she were capable of laughing off small slights, hawkeye and trapper wouldn't have used her as a chew toy so much, and henry might have taken her real concerns more seriously if they weren't lost in the noise of daily fits, you know? she rarely started it, so i'm not blaming her for the hostile chaos circus of seasons 1-3, but i am saying she would have had a better time if she knew how to take a few deep breaths.
this description from the script, after the near-brawl in the nurses' tent in act one, is basically her character thesis statement:
Tumblr media
and here, when she's reacting fully emotionally, the truth comes out! the reason that she won't be flexible and show compassion to the nurses isn't because of the rules, but because they're mean to her!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
that's obviously a very bad place to lead from. she has enormous institutional power over them, including controlling their freedom of movement, but she feels like all the other girls in school are hanging out together and they hate her. because they are! and they do! the fight in act one boils over when they make fun of her hair, and that sent all of them back to middle school.
and in many ways, that's where margaret's emotional maturity is stuck (which is, i think, why i find her so endearing). she can't see herself. she knows they don't like her, trust her, or want her around, but she doesn't understand how she dug this hole herself, or how to get out of it.
to add insult to jealous injury, one of the nurses (mary jo, who gets between margaret and baker to stop the fight and takes care of the others in different ways) is margaret's age, and the others look to her as their chosen leader and personal support.
and i'm sure margaret had NO IDEA this was the messy truth until she heard it come out of her mouth.
and her emotionally breaking on the "one lousy cup of coffee" in particular…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i wonder, how often does some version of that first tent scene happen? does she deliver their assignments every night? she walks in already defensive, they immediately stop laughing, and then... she either finds a reason to scold them or they ice her out until she leaves. (and they probably start laughing again as soon as she does!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
from her perspective, when she arrived for the dreaded sleepover and they turned out the lights the minute she walked in, it's like they cancelled the nightly coffee klatch just to avoid spending one social minute with her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
i also think the nurses are right when they assumed that she wouldn't have accepted an invitation to hang out with them (and might even have snapped at them for being inappropriate for asking). she doesn't cross that emotional line, even when she should — she didn't know gaynor was spiraling after losing so many patients in a row, and didn't respond compassionately when she learned.
has she ever invited them for coffee or a friendly chat? no.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
...... but her circumstances have recently changed.
[reblog with the rest of it is here!]

If They Take Care Of You When You Get Sick
Feat: Dazai, Chuuya, Ranpo, Fyodor, Nikolai
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dazai Osamu
He really is very cautious in taking care of his one and only bella, He will hug you and give you lots of kisses regardless of your sickness, we know how bad he is at cooking but what will he do in a situation where he has to cook right now?
He thought about ordering food but didn't think it would be healthy so he tried making soup on his own from the cooking videos he really gave him full attention just to look at you, he ditched his job
"My beautiful bella, if anything happens to you, I would never be able to live" He's a real drama creator “Osamu I'm fine you're exaggerating"
I can imagine him holding you in his arms and not letting you walk "My love I can walk" You were told to him, His eyes were squinting looking at you "Still I will take care of you in the best of circumstances"
While you were sleeping, the moonlight hit your face and he watched you sleep, his eyes searched everywhere, he couldn't believe that he had found that true love and that she was lying in his bed like an angel right now "My beautiful angel"
Chuuya Nakahara
He's truly a masterpiece and he's a master at these, I can tell you he's the only man with excellent taste. He cooks with show even when You sick, which makes you smile, She takes her temperature every 10 minutes, pays a lot of attention, water bag and many things, pills, injections, serums, they are all here just for you now
He does 2-3 jobs at the same time, when you don't have control at home, things are only balanced by his power. You offered to call a doctor to the house, but he refused, "I'm the one who wants to take care of you, no one else is needed"
Of course he doesn't care if you're sick to kiss you too, he just lays you on his lap and watches you sleep, You rested your head on his orange hair and you fell asleep with his beautiful harmonizing perfume "My princess, I will always take care of you"
Ranpo Edogawa
No matter how cute and frivolous your boyfriend is, everything stops when it comes to you "I'll give you candy if you get better dear" you laughed at what he said "Ranpo I'm not a kid"
"I'm sure you will love it my love"he left kisses on your head, stroked your hair with his hands and tried to tell you a fairy tale "Once upon a time a princess..." He chose a beautiful story to put you to sleep
He can be very distracted while he cooks because you are the reason for making the food here, if you leave the room he is in and try to do anything while he is cooking he will scold you "Where were you s / he while I was cooking" he really asked you with a stupid seriousness on his face
"My love I just went out on the balcony" Ranpo shook his head disapprovingly "My wisdom instinct tells me you stood up for the laundry" He's not really serious at all. "If you try to get up again, I'll have to tie you to the bed in handcuffs, honey, be nice"
Fyodor Dostoyevski
He may indeed be the most normal lover among them, but just because he's normal doesn't mean he doesn't care about you, But of course he was interested in your illness and he wasn't that indifferent. "You still have a high fever, you need to take medicine dear"
He wasn't the best at cooking, he only cooked when it was absolutely necessary, but he wanted the best for you and brought home a chef who never took his money into consideration, yet you know how rich he is "The chef will make you 4-5 different main courses, if you don't like any of them just tell me my love"
He also considered calling a doctor home but didn't want to put you at any risk afterward because he had too many enemies, He left his job halfway just for you and took the best precautions for your recovery He tried every hour to heal you with special pills and serums "I don't know if you have any medical experience?"you asked him with a laugh. "Just for you, my dear”
Nikolai Gogol
"Darling please don't die yet we'll live a long life with you" He said stroking and kissing you "Ohh I'm fine please let me mind my business" "This is not possible, my love, I hired servants for you.." he spoke to you "Servants??" As soon as you asked, the door of the house opened and two women and two men entered. "People here will take care of your food, cleaning and your illness."
Your eyes really opened in surprise, you were expecting something, but you didn't think that he would exaggerate everything so much, He did make you feel like you were a princess in a castle, he was constantly teleporting around the house bringing you a water bag, ice cloth and a lot of things
He told you about his childhood while you were lying on a bed and you memorized everything he said word for word, he was saying it to sleep you, but when he turned his head to you he saw that you were not sleeping "My beautiful love is still listening to me?”
Enjoy!
I want to write them more as a father the time he spends with his children and his wife

Ugh tumblr is not cooperating with my readmores and art. Oh well we can do it this way. AU masterpost
Say hello to Shackle and Nothing, dark Wind and dark Time :D more art and long descriptions beneath the cut!
Shackle
Shackle is dark Wind.
To me, one of Wind’s core themes is freedom. He goes wherever he wants on his boat (and has fun), he frees a couple girls from the Helmaroc King, and when I think of him, I think of wild blue skies and an endless horizon. He loves life and is one of the most determined heroes.
Shackle, on the other hand, is a bit of a control freak. He doesn't mind not being in charge all the time (he does mind, but he doesn't like to be challenged, and knows that he'd lose any fight for the top place, so he pretends to not care) but he does mind when things don't go his way. If someone or something is annoying him or not listening to him, he will readily use one of the many chains he carries to threaten or restrain. He likes being in control of others, and he likes when people are afraid of him. He keeps fairies nearby, not so much in case of healing, but because he can shake their bottles and listen to them chime in fear.
Shackle is a rather skilled manipulator, and one of the few Darks that look pretty much human, so he's often the one to head excursions into town (Prince is more of a charismatic diplomat, but his powers don't work on whole crowds at a time.) Because of his strength and chains, he's often the one to be on Dire duty, something he doesn’t mind much. Shackle is also very fond of money and luxury. He’ll pinch rupees on anything that doesn't have to do with him, like someone else’s supplies, but he's happy to splurge on himself.
He doesn't have any mystical powers, but he does have enchanted chains that grow and shrink according to his needs. He eats food like any mortal. He's as young as Wind is but is more often successful at bluffing his way into bars and the like. He “jokes” often about earning a couple rupees from selling one of the others—usually Lost or Madness, or Nothing if he's being annoying (a normal occurrence.) Shackle’s ambition is to break free of the others and start a true pirate empire, and the way he wants to do that is by starting a slave trade. That way he can indulge his loves of intimidation and money at the same time.
In terms of design: Shackle is pale to Wind’s tan, a bit beefy to Wind’s young lankiness. He wears red instead of blue, leaning into the pirate aesthetic with sashes and belts and leather and eyeliner. He got a chain tattoo because he thought it was cool. He fears losing everything he has, and some of what he doesn't have.
The only thing that Shackle and Wind would agree on is that Aryll must be protected and lavished with gifts at every opportunity (even though Shackle hasn’t technically met her, yet.) He'd treat her like a princess—as long as she agreed with him about what a princess should be. He isn't a very good listener.
Nothing
Nothing is dark Time. He appears as a petulant child: sharp and angular and half-dead. He takes all of Time’s gremlin tendencies and turns them into cruel pranks and mean-spirited insults. Time is a leader, and Nothing intentionally holds the group back if he can get away with it. Nothing is resentful: he remembers fighting Time, though he, like Agony, is different now—he can think more clearly and has a  purpose beyond just being something's  guardian.
Nothing gets along best with Madness. He hates being given orders and actively goes the other way unless it was his idea. The group at large only barely puts up with him, but they keep him around for a good reason: he's kind of a genius. He knows dungeons, traps, and gimmicks like nobody’s business. He won't ever give advice on one of Depth’s plans if asked, but they've figured out that if they give Nothing an opening to dunk on someone and hurt one of the Heroes, he'll jump into it and put that genius to work. He's excellent at predicting what the heroes might do, which makes everything just that much more sinister.
On occasion, Nothing will fall into fugues. During these periods, he appears as an older teenager instead of a child, and he's virtually unresponsive. He'll move if prodded. He’ll fight—and fight very well—if told to, but he won't speak, the embodiment of his name. Pretty much everyone finds the contrast rather creepy. These periods don't last long, and soon enough, Nothing is back to his bratty younger self.
Most of all, Nothing wants everything Time has, but if given the option, he wouldn't take Time’s place. He innocently wishes he could be a hero, but he knows he can't be, so he's going to go as far the other direction as possible. He wants to build his own life. But the people around him wouldn't ever let that happen, so Nothing is bitter and lashes out, without any reason not to.
Nothing is designed very much after the Dark Link in Ocarina of Time’s Water Temple, with a few significant tweaks. He is based on young Link instead of the older one, and he is also covered in signs of decay. There are faint red and purple lines like veins on his skin, like corpses that began to decompose underwater, and his tunic and hat show signs of the same. When he appears as a teenager, the decay is even worse. His sword is patterned after the Master Sword, but is just a normal, nonmagical thing.
Nothing is the Hero of Nothing, a sad admittance of his own emptiness and a jab at Time’s forgotten timelines. He wouldn't even know how to seize the opportunity to be a hero of something if it showed up in front of him.

Hi
Alot of people are saying Meleanor and Maellus are the same when she shot everyone with lightening. But I think she is more extreme. At the very least Malleus hasn't hit anyone, though their have been some close calls. But he has never threatened to hurt sebek, Lilia, or Silver. Melenore and Maellus are similar, but I think Malleus is more in control. Lilia does reprimand him if he acts up or he loses thought.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mmm, well... I don't really think it's fair to say one is considered "worse" or "better" than the other in terms of control of their powers and emotions??? They're a lot alike, but they're also at completely different points in their lives and under much different circumstances. We also get a very limited perspective of one (Meleanor) over the other (Malleus), who is very much a prominently featured character.
Both Meleanor and Malleus in their basest forms are temperamental, and their bad mood stirs changes in the weather. The old adage, "like mother, like son" is very applicable here. The main difference between them is that Meleanor, the parent and adult, has more responsibilities and lived during a warring period.
We hear tales of Meleanor acting up and letting her powers flare out of control in her youth, and that parallels what we know of Malleus's childhood (ie when he froze the castle and many servants). They are the same. However, I would say that Meleanor's emotions running high is considerably more understandable (at least during the instance when we actually physically see her in the dream), considering that she's in the middle of a war and the life of herself and her unborn child are at risk. She's not just "shooting everyone with lightning" because she's lost her temper for no real reason. Meleanor is mad at Lilia and the soldiers for not showing up to defend her and her child. She had NO reason to believe her men would be returning with humans (Yuu, Sebek, Silver, Grim) in tow (who would be much more susceptible to being hurt from her magic than a fae), so I don’t think she was shooting at them specifically; they just got caught in the crossfires. I have no doubt that Meleanor could have done some serious damage with her magic, but since she's expecting only enemy soldiers or her own to walk through that door, I do feel like she has her reasons??? Like, if it's enemy soldiers, then those humans are for sure fried. But if it's her own soldiers, then she's most likely expecting them to be experienced enough to avoid her strikes (since they are, after all, trained rigorously to protect the royal family). Seriously striking down her own soldiers in a time of war only hurts herself, doesn't it?? Meleanor's anger focuses on Lilia and Lilia alone when he refuses her order to take her baby and leave her to fend for herself. I don't believe that she seriously intended to harm Lilia in that moment; she needs him alive and well to ensure the safety of her son. If anything, it feels like she summoned that lightning (the second time) to try and scare Lilia into running or as some kind of "test" to prove his readiness to do so. (Keep in mind that Lilia at this point was ALSO holding Malleus's egg while Meleanor was trying to blast him; do you think she would honestely try to decimate her friend and her baby when she just told Lilia to make sure the baby was kept safe?) This only got messed up because Silver (bless him) leapt in the way to defend his father, because to him, the danger still felt very real. Comparatively, Malleus gets upset over what are much more mundane things simply due to being a student during a time of peace (not being invited somewhere, Lilia getting a text message from a friend, etc). He does an excellent job of self-regulating most of the time, but he also has bad days when he expresses intent to harm those that anger him or at least considers it (ie the Magicam Monsters during the first Halloween event, Rook in his PE vignette (until he realizes Rook is purposefully provoking him), Rollo in Glorious Masquerade for deceiving him). Maybe he hasn't ever threatened to hurt Diasomnia, but that doesn't mean everyone is safe. Look at book 7, he did not hesitate to turn his magic against the people he cares about to force them to comply with his desires. Malleus is immature and doesn't know a lot about the world, nor is he able to easily cope with change or things that already escape his understanding, which results in these kinds of incidents. And like... even if Malleus doesn't mean to hurt people, that doesn't negate the harm he does do, does it? Just because he "never hit anyone" with his magic (at least not that we know of) doesn't mean he can't hurt in other ways. Think of the worry he caused in Endless Halloween Night or as far back as when he (accidentally) froze various servants in the castle. All of book 7 is also indirectly hurting people; he's not allowing them to live their lives and is deciding it FOR them. Even if Malleus doesn't see what he's doing as harmful, the truth of the matter is that it IS harmful. (Mr. Shroud even surmises that without food or water in those bodies forced to sleep, the dreamers might actually die.)
To quickly touch on Lilia, he shouldn't be used to excuse or to hand-wave away any bad behaviors on Malleus or Meleanor's parts. Yes, Lilia is an important person in both of their lives. Yes, he tells them off for their actions--but 1) his words are not always taken into consideration, understood, or followed through on by Malleus (such as in the Dorm Uniform vignettes) and Meleanor, and 2) there are also instances when Lilia enables them instead of discouraging them from acting out. (Endless Halloween Night comes to mind for Malleus.)
Malleus, like his mother, HAS to learn how to better control himself or risk repeating these same mistakes with or without Lilia. Let's not forget too, it's Malleus who Overblotted, a condition which arises mainly due to negative emotions. I don't know if I would call that a demonstration of being "more in control", but rather a sign of Malleus’s immaturity and inability to accept change 💦 ADDENDUM: it is implied later in book 7 that Meleanor also Overblotted, but not out of negative emotions but rather that she overexerts her magic when fighting.
We don’t know as much about Meleanor or how much of her childish tantrums (like the incident where she blew up part of a castle) carried over to adulthood. We also don’t know enough about her to understand if she ever compromised the safety of others like how Malleus did in his own childhood (again, the whole ice thing). When her castle is under siege, she takes control of the situation and makes a plan, then confronts the Silver Owls for a duel. She’s somewhat selfish in her insistent commands to Lilia, but then again, she has to be—she’s a sovereign with people she desperately wants to protect. Malleus is actually just as immature as his mother was as a child. It's possible to see him as "more in control" because we have so many other instances of him being calm and rational to refer to. Meanwhile, we only hear about Meleanor's destructive rampages via stories and have only one real instance of interacting with her to refer to, and she's being violent for most of it. We have very few instances of her being nice or pleasant to compare to, so by focusing only on what we physically witness, a biased interpretation of her can form. In reality, neither mother nor son is "worse" or “better” than the other—again, the standard for comparison for the two’s present behavior is not equal to begin with.
Malleus needs to be given the time to learn and grow to get to the same position and maturity that his mother reached. He’s still at a point where he’s insecure about his relationships and with the change that comes with the passage of time, not a pillar of control—and that’s just a consequence of his youth and lack of real-life experiences. That’s not to say that Meleanor is perfect or that she’s somehow “more” controlled than Malleus; they're both powerful, demanding, domineering types, which is how the Draconia family in general is described. It’s Meleanor's age and experiences have helped to temper her into a leader who knows what she most wants to prioritize in a live-threatening moment. She still uses force to get her way, but utilizes her powers with a more learned wisdom that deviates from Malleus.

The Evil Grand Duchess Has a Secret Life - By Lee knockknock (7.5/10)
Tumblr media
So, you're dead. Want to do God a favor, so you can have an excellent afterlife? A veteran actress gets hired by Heaven to play the role of Duchess in another realm, with another secret agent as her partner. Nothing goes as planned. Her partner, the Duke, knows nothing of the plan and he's madly in love with her. How will she find time to fulfill God's wish, with him hot on her heels?
Elise was born a sad orphan, but she made her life great. She became a successful actress, and she still managed to keep her old friends in her life.
Tumblr media
She's beautiful. She worked hard. She's perfect. She didn’t forget about the little people along the way. The first chapter is literally her covered in gold and compliments....
....but sadly she is terminally ill. With six months left.
Her best friend murders her too, for unknown reasons. How unfair. She fought day and night to be somebody, and she died alone like everyone else. She felt alone, when the man she trusted the most shoved a poison needle into her.
Tumblr media
Heaven tells her to play the role of Duchess Elise. She is a famous beauty who uses her body to seduce and torment her stepbrother. Her poor husband, Blake, is a background character who defends her out of duty. Elise must torment the incoming protagonist as well, by using Blake's good name to get away with bullying.
So, why is she here?
The Gods seem to control all realities here. They want their "stories" to end the right way, so they hire actors to ensure that their favorite main characters become happy.
Tumblr media
Duke Blake is a cold and dutiful man. The angelic angel inside him doesn't have many lines in the script. Elise thinks he's on her side. She thinks he's a great actor, but that's not it. There is no agent inside the Duke, and the character has gone wrong.
He loves his wife. She is not just a partner to him.
She finally realizes he's not a fellow actor when he throws her on the bed. All of his romantic lines seem so real. They are.
Tumblr media
Her angel partner is inside Lucas, the main character, which is very bad. The Upper Realm wants the story to go as planned. That cannot happen with an angel inside the male lead. Angels are bad actors. That's why Elise got hired. Angels play only the most minor of roles. They are supposed to observe for the gods. Lucas can't act for shit. Elise has to teach him in secret, and her husband gets jealous as a consequence.
Actually, he gets very jealous.
Tumblr media
Elise was originally killed by her best friend Cain. Cain drank poison right after he murdered her. It's starting to look like her followed her into the other realm. He's the one messing up the story. He's doing it to be with her. Duchess Elise is healthy, rich and beautiful. She's not sick like old Elise. Cain did something to get Elise a new body.
The Gods even mention this is a problem. Transmigrators have been bending various realities to get the lives they desire, and it's a problem for the gods, because humans are supposed to die. It's cheating when their spirit floats off to rule a kingdom somewhere else.
By the way if this theory is true Cain is an extreme yandere, because he's lying. He is pretending to be Blake, and he's very controlling.
Tumblr media
Elise is not an angel. This is her first and only mission. Her only chance to get a favor from God. She wants to send Cain to hell as her reward. She has no clue why her friend would murder her. He knew about her incoming death. He didn't let her enjoy her last precious days. She wants revenge.
Tumblr media
The angel must start acting like Lucas. The story is about to fly off course. The Prince is wrong. The royal succession is already a mess. The Prince was supposed to be an evil womanizer, but someone else is in the princely seat now.
Elise tries to teach in between possessive arguments with Blake.
I'm kinda surprised that she hasn't guessed the truth yet. Blake is too obsessed with her.
Tumblr media
She kisses Lucas to follow the script.
By the way, Elise has no feelings for Blake. She thinks he is the perfect man and stuff, but she's here on a mission. She knows she won't be here forever. Currying favor with God is way more important. More possessive things happen after the kiss.....and Elise gets a brilliant idea...
....it's very dumb.
Tumblr media
She decides to use Blake, who seems loyal, to fix the holes in the story. She is going to flirt with him, and seduce him more, even though she sees him as a tool.
That's going to backfire.

What Disney princesses/characters would the Volturi turn and who would be leftover dessert?
Those gifted or with a personality that rendered them useful.
(For the sake of not having a too long post I'll just use the princesses I know decently well.)
Anna (Frozen) is very sweet and charismatic, though a poor judge of character and prone to rash decisions. She has no gifts. Aro feeds her to his guards*.
Ariel (Ariel) gave away her mermaid tail to pursue a man she barely knew. Aro bitterly mourns Ursula, who might actually have been useful to him, and is left to weigh the benefits of establishing diplomatic relations with Ariel's father. Ariel, already a part of the supernatural world, is not killed either way but she may become a bargaining chip.
Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) is blessed with enhanced beauty and an enthralling singing voice that works on humans and animals alike. If attacked, she and everyone nearby as well as her physical surroundings fall into an enchanted slumber that can't be disturbed until the danger has passed. Excellent defence mechanism: Aro recruits her.
Belle (The Beauty and the Beast) has a wonderful personality and likes books. Aro feeds her to his guards.
Cinderella (Cinderella) has a wonderful personality and an even more wonderful fairy godmother. Aro threatens her in the hopes of making the godmother come to her aid, and once she does he tries to recruit the godmother. Cinderella lives for as long as Aro needs a bargaining chip.
Elsa (Frozen) can create and control ice, though Elsa is prone to emotional outbursts and losing control. Aro recruits her, but keeps a close watch on her for the first few years in case she turns out to be a liability.
Mulan (Mulan) is an able soldier who understands duty and loyalty. People like her will always be useful to a man like Aro. Aro recruits her.
Rapunzel's power came from a flower, and it's a power she appears to have lost. A healing vampire could be immensely useful however, so Aro turns her and she gets a grace period where he tests her rigorously. Let us hope she retained some of that flower power.
Snow White (Snow White and the Seven Dwarves) is blessed with beauty that frankly sounds vampiric. The huntsman defies his orders for her, the dwarves protect her, animals obey her, and the prince falls in love from sight alone. Aro recruits her.
Bonus: Leia Organa (Star Wars**) has the Force. Aro recruits her.
*If Elsa is in the room, Aro may decide to spare Anna so he doesn't alienate Elsa. However, sparing couples in this sense does not seem to be Aro's modus operandi, whenever he encounters a gifted coven member he seems to spare that member only. Most likely, Elsa is told Anna was returned home and the reason she can't see her is because Aro would hate for her to lose control and kill her own sister. And look at that, Anna died in an accident shortly afterwards. Definitely can't see her now.
** As the Star Wars IP is now owned by Disney and Leia is the princess of Alderaan through her adoptive parents and the daughter of a former queen, I say she passes muster for a Disney Princess.
A few final thoughts:
Of all the princesses listed, I think Aurora and Leia are without doubt the most interesting to Aro. Aurora covers everything Snow White can do and would render Volterra virtually untouchable, while Leia could theoretically do anything at all.

Unit Evaluation - Gladiia
(And also the Abyssal Hunters as a whole.)
Tumblr media
Gladiia became available once again today, this time permanently (through Record Restoration). There's a lot of buzz happening around her right now, so I feel like I should throw my hat in the ring.
Mostly because...I disagree with most of the takes I'm seeing.
Gladiia is a very good unit, if used in the right scenarios. I'm certainly biased, but I would encourage anyone who's interested in using her to build her. However, I need to stress that the hype surrounding her is overblown.
Compared to the premier units in this game, she is not by any stretch of the imagination broken. This is not a Młynar or Texas the Omertosa-level unit who'll instantly warp the way you play the game with her awesome might. Don't build her thinking you'll get an obscene powerhouse, especially if you don't have her best partner, Specter the Unchained.
Beneath the cut, I'll break down her strengths and weaknesses, and give you some tips on how to play with her. It gets a little long-winded, so I'll give you a TL;DR:
As a standalone unit, Gladiia's module elevated her from "incredibly mediocre outside of niche use cases" to "decent, but inferior to other 6* options for most players." As the lynchpin of the Abyssal Hunter squad, Gladiia offers you the opportunity to play with some reasonably powerful generalist units whose power largely lies in their mixture of solid damage and self-sufficient durability (with one noteworthy exception). Their power, however, is often overstated; they don't excel in either category, and in many cases are sidegrades or downgrades to other options.
I've also included small TL;DRs for each subsection, if you're just interested in my conclusions.
I don't have a ludicrous Risk 27 Abyssal Hunter CC clear to show to prove that I know what I'm talking about, but mid-risk CC (18-24ish, unsure with the new CC system since I wasn't a fan of Pinch Out and so didn't bother doing above 600) is generally the area of difficulty I like playing around with. Keep that in mind when I'm talking about these operators, so you can take my words with a grain of salt if your personal goals for using them are different!
Solo, Without Module
TL;DR: Gladiia has shift power that can't be replicated by any other unit, but without her module is a fragile, low-damage pseudo-Guard that isn't worth using for general content unless you're as stubborn as I am.
Before we talk about her ludicrously-hyped module, it's probably helpful to recall what Gladiia was like before her module came out.
Without her module, Gladiia is a fairly unimpressive unit outside of a very narrow set of use cases. Her power is largely concentrated in her pulling strength, and in those cases, she's completely invaluable:
Her S2's wide range and good shifting power (strength 2, the same as other shifters' S1 at M3) makes it a very flexible skill for things like shifter stalls. Her S3, as well, has some good niche shifting utility that can't be replicated by other operators (though note that the actual max risk clear used S2). Her S1 is also worth using in some situations, as it can store multiple charges, but it's by far the most niche skill in her arsenal.
The issue is that, if you're the average player, you'll almost never be taking advantage of that power. She's like Weedy: Queen in Contingency Contract, but most players will never be doing hard enough content to need to take advantage of the power she has at her disposal.
In terms of general use, she's...not very good by the standards of 6* lane-holders or crowd control units. She'll be a valuable roster addition for new players, acting as a pseudo-Guard. As she's cheap (13 DP), she might be good to shore up holes in struggling rosters.
She doesn't do a whole lot of damage. She's not particularly durable—in fact, she's only slightly less squishy than Pioneer Vanguards, and less durable than Bagpipe. Her cooldowns are relatively short, but her power on-skill isn't very impressive.
She's not useless. I, stubbornly, brought her to almost every map anyways. Her regen passive means she'll be able to handle waves of weak enemies by herself without the need to babysit her with a Medic. Her S3 provides some decent crowd control in terms of a single-target Bind and an AoE pull, though you'll need to get used to how it works to make good use of it. The issue is that she doesn't really do a lot compared to other 6* units, which is...what you'd generally expect from a welfare unit, unfortunately. If you lack lane-holders or cannot use more powerful sources of crowd control (e.g. Gnosis' Freeze), you'll still likely get good use out of her.
Solo, With Module
TL;DR: Gladiia's module fixes her fragility and helps her low damage output, but is not itself a magic bullet that'll make her a unit on-par with the stronger 6*s. She becomes a reasonably defensive crowd control-focused unit that can help hold weaker lanes.
Gladiia experienced the single most phenomenal upgrade a unit's ever gotten from a module. That much is undeniably true. Her module gave her pretty much everything she needed to become a solid generalist, and...she is!
The damage reduction and enhanced regen makes her reasonably bulky, but keep in mind that without it she's squishier than off-skill Bagpipe. Putting 30% damage reduction onto that fairly fragile frame isn't going to make her a tank, but while she won't be replacing your Defenders anytime soon, you don't need to worry much about her dying. Her damage increase is nice, too. If you don't have or want to use the other Abyssal Hunters, Gladiia with her module is perfectly fine on her own. She's still not a unit that I'd recommend over a dedicated 6* lane-holder for that role, but can be used to very good effect in conjunction with other units.
I personally prefer using her S3 for general content. It's a solid mixture of crowd control and pretty considerable arts damage on a short cooldown. Others tend to favor her S2 for lane-holding, and I've seen a few recommend putting Mastery points into that first. I've personally...never really been impressed with her S2's performance in these general cases, and only switch to it if I'm using her for pulling, or in specific scenarios where it'd be good in a particular map.
With Specter the Unchained
TL;DR: Gladiia is a great unit to support the already quite good Specter the Unchained, and both make each other a good deal more effective. There's a cute synergy between the timings of Gladiia's S3 and Specter's S2, as well.
Here's where I should talk about the unit I effectively always pair her with in some capacity. These two are a match made in heaven, and complement each other very well. If you don't have Specter Alter, then Gladiia is still a perfectly fine unit, but if you do, you'll notice a significant boost to their performance when you use them together.
First, Specter's own Abyssal Hunter faction buff helps considerably with Gladiia's survivability. At max level, even without Specter's Mod-Y, it'll get her to slightly over 3,000 HP. Coupled with her damage reduction and regen, this means she can withstand a good amount of punishment. The only thing holding her bulkiness back is her relatively low DEF, which does sometimes mean she melts faster than you'd think.
Second, Gladiia's module makes Specter Mod-Y (S3)...legitimately decent. She turns from an S2 machine into a more than competent lane-holder capable of tanking and dealing respectable damage to elites and bosses. Nearly 4,000 HP off-skill translates to over 10,000 on-skill, and her middling DEF is offset pretty heavily by Gladiia's staggering 30% damage reduction and over 350/s HP (on-skill) regen. As a bonus, with Specter's Mod-Y, Gladiia's skills have even shorter cooldowns, letting you spam whirlpools.
Third, Gladiia has very nice synergy with Specter's other skill—her most powerful and specialized one, which can't be replicated by Gavial Alter. There's the obvious synergy: Gladiia's damage reduction and regen means that Specter can survive more punishment between her skill cycles, keeping her cycling between periods of invulnerable onslaughts and AoE burn. The less obvious one comes in how well their skills are synced. Specter's skill timings are 20/20/20 at max investment. Twenty seconds off-skill, on-skill, and in her substitute. Gladiia's S3 lasts for 8 seconds, and then has a 35-second cooldown. This means that you can use Gladiia with Specter to consistently lock enemies in overlapping arts damage AoEs between cycles of Specter's blender. I like placing Gladiia 1-2 spaces behind Specter for these purposes.
Full Squad
TL;DR: The Abyssal Hunters as a full squad are fun, but do not necessarily or even often represent the strongest thing you can be doing with a selection of 4-5 units in your already limited squad.
...I don't think the Abyssal Hunters are that strong.
I feel a little crazy saying that, since the ubiquitous opinion that I always hear is that they're overpowered. It's everywhere on Twitter, on Tumblr, on Reddit. Even fucking Yii made a video calling them broken.
I really don't agree with that assessment. They're good. They're definitely very good. But in my playtime being stubborn about using the Abyssal Hunters as often as I can in the hardest content I can tackle, I've never really felt like they were the strongest thing I could be doing. When I'm stuck on a stage, I switch off of the Hunters so I can take it seriously. That's not the most objective analysis I can give, though, so...here goes.
The Abyssal Hunters kind of suck.
Individually. They kind of suck individually.
I don't think I need to convince anyone that Guard Skadi is a joke of a 6* by herself, and while Specter is great by 5* standards, she doesn't exactly hold a candle to the 6* lane-holder options when you're not abusing her invincibility. Andreana...
Andreana isn't real. I'm sorry. I wish she was. She's not.
The only one of them that's powerful—not just decent, but actually strong—as a standalone unit is Specter the Unchained.
It's not relevant to this analysis, but it is relevant to the general point of this post to point out that Specter the Unchained is a limited unit from a year ago that a majority of the people just newly picking up Gladiia won't ever have.
Gladiia, Specter the Unchained, and Specter can all be very specialized units who offer very strong roles in specific scenarios. But most of the time, if you're taking the full squad, they're not going to be used in those windows of power. At best, you usually just have Specter the Unchained using her blender optimally. They're just...Guards.
They all do the same thing. They're Guards. You place them in lanes, and they hit things. And none of them besides Specter the Unchained are even particularly good at that. Specter (5*) is great when you're using her to tank unsurvivable damage. She's not so great when you're just using her as a nun-flavored Mountain whose skill options are a reasonable DPS boost that stuns her for 10 seconds and fucking ATK Up γ.
And...yes. I get that stacking enough buffs onto a vanilla stick will eventually make the stick strong enough to break anything. The issue here is that the teamwide buffs are largely defensively-focused. There are some offensive parts of those buffs, but they're the ones with the strongest opportunity cost. They're—likely intentionally—found on the most individually mediocre members, Skadi and Andreana. Skadi feels great to bring when you're using her to 1v1 incredibly strong enemies, but when that's not a great option for the map you're bringing, she feels useless. The worst part is that if you're bringing her for the team buff, you have to choose between her modules, because the one that provides the strongest buff is her worse module by a considerable margin. Skadi Mod-X almost makes her feel like a worthwhile unit, by reducing her redeployment time to 40 seconds, making her (with S2) a decently tanky medium-redeploy unit who can square up against units that would make other helidrops falter.
Andreana gives 20 ASPD to the entire team, which is great—but you can only bring 12 Operators to your mission.
Is that really worth a slot in your team? What are you giving up by bringing someone who's weak enough that she's not even worth deploying?
Yes, with all of the buffs combined, Specter the Unchained does become a monster. But with all of the obscenely powerful units we have in the game, is it ever actually worth it to bring two to three dead weights to use her more effectively? Especially when the most potent buffs, the defensive buffs, will usually only be effective on her for a third of the time when she's equipped with her strongest skill?
Is that worth not bringing Texas? Yato? Surtr? Ines? Bagpipe? A real Defender? A secondary DPS? A plan B, in case something goes wrong?
...Maybe? Maybe that's been the experience for you, and these units actually have felt overpowered in your hands. But that hasn't been my experience. These units are clearly powerful. If this review has seemed largely negative, it's only because it exists in the face of endless praise or even complaints about how strong the Abyssal Hunters are.
The Hunters are tanky. They're really, really tanky. Not quite Hoshiguma or Nian tanky, but...well, nothing is. But we're in a metagame where people are (incorrectly, in my opinion) calling Hoshiguma a bad unit because she doesn't provide much utility other than her tankiness. Which is...almost exactly the same as what the Abyssal Hunters as a full squad bring to the table. They're big meatballs that are largely unimpressive in terms of damage or utility.
What content are the Abyssal Hunters optimal in, exactly? They're not meta in Contingency Contract; while Gladiia and Specter the Unchained are CC mainstays, the full squad is never brought, and Gladiia's "gamebreaking" module isn't utilized at all. They're not meta in Integrated Strategies. They're not even the strongest units in SSS, and that's a game mode that has a dedicated buff for them.
At best, they're optimal units for middling difficulty content—and I'd contest that, but we don't have leaderboards to look to for what units are best for clearing story stages. But even if that were true, to get them to that state, you need to invest large amounts of resources into getting full level 3 modules for each of them—and you inarguably need a year-old limited unit!
Stacking teamwide buffs is a great way to bring mediocre units up to playability, but you really need a critical mass of them in order to make them a serious metagame contender. And I...just don't think we're there. I don't think we're that close, honestly.
...
Conclusions?
In summary, build Gladiia!
...Look, she's neat. She's one of my favorite units and I use her all the time. And she is good, just...don't expect her to revolutionize the game for you.
And build the other Abyssal Hunters, too. Just...do it because they're a neat thematic squad that's decently powerful as a whole. They work fine without Specter the Unchained, too. They'll be weaker, of course, but they're still perfectly usable. All you're really missing on the other units is her HP buff, and they're still pretty strong without it.
Build them because you like them, and so Gladiia is surrounded by her family. Not because you think they'll crack the game in half, or something.

Do you think Tomoe Tsurugi will keep being a main villain/antagonist in future seasons or will she fade into plot irrelevance like she was pre S5 ?
This show is such a mess that it's impossible to predict anything, but if I had to guess, I'd say she'll fade into irrelevance. I'm basing that guess off of her role in season five and the power she now has in the season five fallout.
It seems like she was only brought into season five's villain circle to justify Gabriel's access to high tech gadgets. Outside of that, she does nothing for the plot and she was left with no power.
Tomoe wasn't a driving force in the Anti-Adrienette agenda, it was all on Gabriel, so I don't think she's going to keep that conflict going. Nor do I think she even could because Kagami and Adrien are firmly in love with other people.
Tomoe can't do anything to control Kagami because Felix and Kagami pulled the ring switch gambit, making sure that Kagami was as free as a sentibeing can be. Plus Kagami has a miraculous full-time now, making it near impossible to lock her away.
As far as we know, Tomoe doesn't have a miraculous of her own nor does she have access to alternative sources of magic. She was just acting in a supporting role to Gabriel, so with him gone, she doesn't have the type of power she'd need to have in order to be a meaningful villain unless the show is going to make some serious changes to the types of conflicts it deals with.
All that being said, we have no idea what all Tomoe knows and no idea what her motivation is, so I could be totally wrong. It is incredibly... impressive that both she and Lila have been around for multiple seasons and yet we know almost nothing about either of them going into the season where they're our most likely main villains.
Top tier writing there, guys. Way to drive the hype!
In all seriousness, the season five ending would have made so much more sense if Tomoe was the one that ended up with the butterfly since Tomoe actually knows everything that's going on while Lila - who knows next to nothing about the miraculous as far as we know - only got a couple of pictures and somehow magically figured out everything she needed to know.
The show literally showed us Tomoe figuring out that Gabriel was dying while Lila would have no reason to think that he was in less than perfect health. Tomoe randomly showed up at the mansion to yell at Gabriel after Kagami's akumatization while Lila was never allowed inside the gates. Tomoe is a coconspirator and has apparently been one for years while the only reason Lila knows that Gabriel is the butterfly holder is because she read Nathalie's lips on the train at the end of season four. Even those stupid pictures only got into Lila's hands because the show decided to somewhat retcon the lore and have akumas be able to do things without the butterfly holder's knowledge, something we've never seen before. Not to mention that episode starts with the most awkward firing ever and Gabriel explicitly stating that it would be a bad idea to akumatize Lila:
Lila: You could've warned me! I don't believe this replacement was in our agreement. As the face of the Gabriel brand— Gabriel: You were only the face of my brand in exchange for a mission — to monitor my son's relationships and keep him away from bad company. You failed. My son got close to this Marinette Dupain-Cheng who's been nothing but a terrible influence on him. But you did give me one excellent idea — to create a new media-friendly pairing for my son, which is why Kagami Tsurugi will be the new female face of the Gabriel brand. (opens his Alliance) Perfection itself! All that remains to do is perpetuate this façade until it becomes truth in everyone's eyes. And until jealousy eats away at Marinette Dupain-Cheng... Lila: But... What's to become of me?? Gabriel: You just remain what you are. Nothing. (The intercom camera retracts back in the wall. Lila, filled with betrayal, becomes livid.) Gabriel: Hmm... such intense hate! It's tempting. But entrusting a power to someone who hates me so much wouldn't be a good idea.
Seriously, why did he fire her? It make no sense whatsoever. The show had to do so many stupid things to make Lila getting the butterfly feel kinda sorta maybe earned even though it would have made so much more sense to give it to Tomoe or Nathalie. Gods, I would have been so happy if Nathalie got to be the butterfly. She was such a good villain. Instead, Nathalie has turned into the worst mother of the year and we get the worst liar on the planet as the villain. Yay.

Strawhat Pirates Reincarnated as Batfam
My brain won't drop the idea, so here you go.
Dick is Franky
He's still extra and still refuses to wear pants. This version of Dick may carry the leotard design over into Nightwing.
Jason is Sanji
He can cook, and making sure people can eat will always be important to him. He's gruff and growls with people even if he likes them. The real reason he never uses the all blades after returning to Gotham is because he can't risk letting Zoro know he missed him. He went through character growth and respects women in this life.
Tim is Usopp
He has anxiety, but never let that stop him. He chose the life of adventure rather than getting picked up by it. He is an excellent storyteller and actor, as shown by his numerous separate secret identities, many of which have fleshed out backstories. His general attitude of "I don't have to beat you in a fight. I just have to accomplish my goal."
Cass is Robin
David Cain failed. She is fluent and literate in multiple languages and still fully capable of kicking his ass and giving him the slip.
Steph is Nami
The attitude feels similar. She doesn't have the same issues about money in this life because she's finally moved on from at least part of that trauma. She still doesn't like power imbalances. Her acute awareness of her surroundings is part of what allowed her to manage as Spoiler before she had support.
Damian is Zoro
He uses swords. He's gruff. His respect is most quickly earned through combat prowess. That said, he still has his own code of honor. He still uses three sword style. Talia arrives at Wayne Manor hoping that Bruce can get him to stop carrying a third sword in his mouth. This Damian has beef with Jason rather than Tim (because Jason is Sanji).
Jaro is Chopper
Retains a sense of innocent wonder despite exposure to the cruelties of life. Wants to be loved. This version of Jaro is probably less invested in being Robin, and more wants to be on scene to provide emergency medical treatment. Might resort to mind control to make stubborn idiots stay in bed when they're hurt (but only when he really has to).
Bruce is Luffy
Growing up, he was frequently startled by how fast and efficient his new brain is. That said, he can still be kind of dense sometimes. Especially about communication. The reason he took until adulthood to start fighting was because it took him that long to figure out what works in this life. The Grapple guns were inspired by how fed up he was with not being able to use Gom Gom Rocket. Half the reason he's so grouchy is that he has to think so much in this lifetime. He doesn't like doing it. He can't stop. It's not fair. He used to be so good at Nakama, and now he keeps overthinking things.
I'm not sure who Brook would be, feel free to offer suggestions.

— Ominis Gaunt Headcanons; pt. 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yes, more Ominis Gaunt sad hours because for some reason, my mind wants to be sad with him.
Tumblr media
— As a blind person, he supposes he's already used to being unpromptly touched (whether people do it with good intentions or not). But in reality, he's extremely sensitive to touch, not only because of his heightened senses, but because being touched makes him feel like he doesn't have control over his own person. It makes him feel like he doesn't own his body, and that he doesn't have as much autonomy as he thinks, for people to think that it's okay for them to touch him without his consent. Sebastian and Anne knows this intimately with him, as they learned from being his friend since first year. But most of the time, he actually has a little appreciation for the fearsome reputation that his family name brings because then, people won't even approach him at all.
— However, this is a double-edged sword for him. Because as comfortable as he is with his lonesome, being alone actually makes him really upset. It makes him feel like he's an invisible person; unwanted and unloved. Perhaps, this is also the main reason why as toxic as his friendship with Sebastian has become, he just cannot let go. The twins are his anchor. They make him feel seen and acknowledged for who he can be, not just for who he is.
Tumblr media
— When MC started to hang around Sebastian, Ominis may have felt immediately off and worried that he's going to be pushed to the sidelines for this shiny, new person; especially one who is as interesting as MC, who can wield a powerful kind of ancient magic. Perhaps, since Ominis was already insecure and tormented about being a Gaunt to begin with, he thought that the day had finally come when his closest only friend had found another person to spend company with who isn't "tainted" or carries a heavy baggage along with them. He could've felt like MC was definitely someone who can be a better friend to Sebastian because they can give the brunette a more positive presence than he can.
— This is why even before we meet him outside of the Scriptorium, he has said to MC to "not be too cocky simply because you won against Sebastian," and that "Sebastian never backs down from a fight." Aside from the obvious, this could also imply that Ominis wanted MC to know that he knows Sebastian's personality and attitudes far better than MC at this point by blurting that line out. It is quite petty for him to do, but in his mind, MC may have already become competition for Sebastian's friendship. He just doesn't want to be cast aside.
Tumblr media
— It might not seem so but Ominis is actually quite conscious about his grades in school.
— During his earlier years in Hogwarts, all of his report cards are directly sent to his parents. He would be in the receiving end of a very harsh punishment if he didn't have grades befitting that of a Gaunt. His father would not stop until Ominis is a sobbing mess, and his mother would pretend to care for him, only to whisper her venomous words of, "this wouldn't have happened if you just studied hard enough. Now, look at you."
— This could be another reason why Ominis felt drawn to hang out with Sebastian because his best friend was naturally gifted in academics. He thought maybe Sebastian's intelligence and studying habits might rub off on him over time.
— In reality, however, Ominis' grades are on par with Sebastian's. There would even be classes where Ominis would excel where all of his peers would struggle; such as Charms, and maybe even Arithmancy. He, too, is actually gifted in academics. It's just that his parents have extremely unrealistic expectations of him. And we all know how he is in Potions.
(My personal headcanon is when my MC discovered the Room of Requirement, Ominis is the first person she allowed into that room to practice and make do with the resources on the potions desk).

Note
So, from what I gathered, Originium infection can either A) Slowly and painfully kill you if untreated B) Give you super powers C) Turn you into a Beast D) A combination of the above. How close am I?
Pretty close.
I'll immediately address the Turn You Into A Beast thing: Not really, it takes very specific use of Originium, with the intent to do so, in order to beast someone up. For example, with Ifrit, who has a severe case of Oripathy, doesn't ever go beast mode until a freak accident (born from unfortunate circumstance, even) send the dangerously implanted fragment of an old, powerful Sarkaz clan into her into a berserk rage, and even then, it could be controlled. In other words, It's possible for Originium to do that, but Oripathy doesn't do that normally.
As for the others, pretty much. Oripathy is terminal, but not necessarily a swift exeuction, and its notoriously degenerative if not treated early. For example, Schwarz' Oripathy is, compared to that of others, mostly a non-issue due to her having received excellent and timely treatment, even before joining Rhodes Island, as noted by Warfarin.
Tumblr media
Which is why Schwarz, despite having a degenerative illness like this, lives otherwise a normal day to day and is even noted to be incredibly athletic and strong. Compare and contrast with Eyjafjalla, whose Oripathy has degenerated her body to the point of being near blind and deaf, as she didn't have the same luck as Schwarz.
When it comes to "giving you superpowers", it's more like it "augments superpowers". Originium Arts are named as such because they use the residual Originium in the users bloodstream and body to cast them; One doesn't need to suffer from Oripathy to have Originium in their body. Just like how boomers are full of lead and us more recent generations are full of microplastics, the average Terran has Originium in their body, in safe quantities. Oripathy is a high concentration of Originium in one's body, which also translates to "Oh, I have more Magic Catalyst Rocks in my body! Therefore, my magic is stronger!" That's why the strongest Arts users also tend to have the worst cases of Oripathy, such as the selfsame Eyjafjalla, Ifrit, and Amiya, whose cases are very, very grave. Likewise, it's also why it is considered very impressive when an individual doesn't have Oripathy but still possesses very strong Arts, such as the Nearl family. In the same token, it is also why it is impressive, in a different way, when an individual has very grave Oripathy and yet has no proficiency with Arts, such as Specter.
Tumblr media
It is important to note that Originium Arts are a specific form of 'superpowers'. Skadi and the Sui, for example, puzzle the RI medical team for this exact reason: The first hypothesis anyone would make to explain Skadi's insane strength or Dusk's reality warping powers is that they are advanced applications of Originium Arts, and thus, their Oripathy must be severe and they wouldn't be special in that regard: Blaze is known for her immense strength as well, but hers is explicitly a result of her Originium Arts, which quite literally burn her blood as fuel in order to grant her said strength, and Angelina just so happened to win the superpower lottery and have an affinity for the rare gravity Arts, one of the fundamental forces of the world. However, Skadi and Dusk are completely devoid of Originium in their bodies, which not only shocks the RI medical team because, well, that's like you or I not having any microplastics in our body (ie: impossible), it also means you can't explain their insane powers with Originium Arts. So, if one were to use the term "superpowers" in-universe, then Originium Arts wouldn't be it, "superpowers" would be whatever the hell the Abyssal Hunters and the Sui have going on (unexplainable by science, defying common logic and specialized knowledge).
Long story short, Oripathy will most of the time necessarily increase the potency of your Arts, and isn't necessarily an experience exclusively filled with agony if treatment is timely and properly administered, but do note that it is, nonetheless, terminal, and that for the vast majority of people in Terra, it IS a slow and painful death. One must remember, our point of view in Terra is Rhodes Island, the leading experts in treating Oripathy, so the Infected we see and deal with on a day to day basis have it VERY well compared to how it goes in the rest of the world, as we see in the main story and side events.

nine favorite albums in no particular order,
tagged by @an-ivy-covered-summer (thank you I love to ramble about music)
Portishead - Dummy - This is probably my favorite album of all time? It's perfect to me. It makes me feel so good, physically and mentally. It's the quintessential 90s album, the definitive trip-hop album, and always makes the list of "25 Albums You Should Own On Vinyl" for a reason. It's immaculate and it spawned a slew of imitators who never ever got close to this kind of quality. I think people also don't appreciate hop much trip-hop/downtempo has influenced today's pop music. SZA's latest album especially felt super trip-hoppy, so did elements of Midnights.
Massive Attack - Mezzanine - if there's one other trip-hop album you should pick up, it's this one. This album benefits greatly from Elizabeth Fraser of Cocteau Twins' ethereal vocals. Every song on this is amazing. When I was playing this album for a friend about a decade younger, he said "oh this is the album with the music from all the movies." lol. Indeed It's been licensed to hell for a reason!
Tori Amos - Scarlet's Walk - Okay I set a rule for myself that each artist would only get one album in this list to avoid putting up nine Tori Amos albums, but Scarlet is my favorite. This road trip across America immediately after 9/11 is one of the first albums to... if not criticize the US response to 9/11, because it was really too early for that, but to be very, very wary of what the response would be. It's an album that expresses sympathy for a wounded nation, while also acknowledging the nation's sins. I think this is one of a few Tori albums that was too high concept for the mainstream audience, but Tori has never been for the mainstream audience, anyway.
Taylor Swift - evermore - Of all the Taylor Swift albums, it was reputation that brought me to the dance and Red that made me fall madly in love. But evermore is her best work. It's perfecting upon the formula she came up with in folklore. Which, don't get me wrong, I love folklore, but with Taylor's obsession with being "sonically cohesive" it's kind of a bummer of an album? I appreciate how the vibes of evermore are more varied. Also, "ivy" is the most beautiful song she's ever written.
Green Day - American Idiot - This album doesn't need much description, it's so well-known, but nothing really compares to how hard this album hit during the height of Bush Era Hell. As a 26 year old when this came out, it felt like my generation was getting our mainstream protest music, finally.
Paul Simon - Graceland - This album won the Grammy for Album of the Year for a reason: it's soooo good. I know there's a lot of drama/controversy surrounding it, but I always felt Paul approached his love of African music from a genuine place. It's such a good midlife crisis album, I understand it now more that I am in midlife than I did when I discovered it at age 12. And the bass line for "You Can Call Me Al" is fucking legendary, isn't it? PS - Paul Simon is the greatest songwriter of all time.
VNV Nation - Automatic - Why was it so hard to pick a VNV Nation album? I really kind of wanted to put last year's Electric Sun in the mix, but I need to let that sit with me before I add it to a list like this. This is the album that brought me to the dance: "Gratitude" is an all-time fave VNV song of hopefulness. "Control" is the dance club banger to end all dance club bangers. I loooooooove this band. I wish there were more futurepop bands out there, tbh, it's SUCH an excellent genre.
Lana del Rey - Norman Fucking Rockwell! - This is Lana's best. It's not really even close. This is one of the best albums of the 21st century. The way "The greatest" so perfectly encapsulates the Trump-era nihilism... I DO want shit to feel the way just like it used to. Kanye West IS blond and gone. We DIDN'T know that we had it all. :( The ache of nostalgia in our current very painful times hits perfectly on this record (WHYYYY don't I own it on vinyl yet??)
Puscifer - Existential Reckoning - So hard for me to pick a Maynard project and not pick TOOL, but Puscifer has become my favorite of his three bands. Existential Reckoning is similar to NFR! in that it captures the political moment. Maynard has never seemed particularly political in his music until this record, which is pretty interesting. ER seems to be advocating for a return to rationality over ideology, of moderation over extremism, of science over faith. It takes a very humanist approach to looking at life in 2020. "Apocalyptica" is probably the craziest song because it sounds like it was written about COVID, but it was not, in fact was written just a few months earlier. "Bedlamite" is the coda to the album that promises hope: It's gonna be all right. When they did this album Live at Arcosanti and sang this song while the sun rose behind them, four days before the 2020 election and Maynard crooned that it would be all right, I looked at my roommate, and I said, "it really is, isn't it?" And we both got kind of overwhelmed. And then a few days later, it was. Trump lost.
I went into way detail >_> told you I like rambling about music

"Realistically, just because we work hybrid and got called into work today doesn't mean you should slack off too much on your attire, Yunkyoung." My face mimicked a grimacing expression that dawned on my face. Whilst I have worked with the pink-haired girl for a few years at this point, what she did was no surprise. Especially due to the fact it's only a few people (me and literally just her) in today for some unknown reason.
The sound of a pen clicking as she leaned against my cubicle, my eyes leering back towards the dual setup monitors and resuming the clacking sounds of the keyboard typing away on excel. One column over the other and comparing quarterly data, analyzing assets of certain stocks to get the best ROI for our company.
"It's not like it matters, no? We're the only ones here besides the cleaning staff. And you seem to have everything under control - I know how you been working, Oppa." Yunkyoung's sweet voice spoke out so melodicly, they were music to my ears. Feeling her soft palms on my shoulders with an eensy bit of pressure applied that formed goosebumps in my forearms.
How could someone who seemed nonchalant seem so carefree and upbeat? If she doesn't work, then how could our tasks be done for the day? She's probably different when she's conversing with others, or even doing anything else but her job. Maybe even a nepo-baby at this point but she's so deep in the company she might as well be grandfathered in. She didn't have a CTA certification either, I'd bet money on that.
Small moves going about with her thumbs being applied down, my eyes forming crescents and feeling relaxed when slumping down into my seat - the WPM on the keyboard getting slower as my fingers didn't follow along to the thoughts in my head for the work I had to be done.
But regardless - Seo Yunkyoung. She was teh daughter of the company president, and is also my 'boss.' On paper that is, but in retrospect, I think most of the team still regards me as the head and treats me with more respect than from what I've seen from chatter and other people's circles.
"Why, what's wrong?" Her voice spoke up with her hands stopped moving in conjuction. As if it were a big surprise I stopped working since there was always some efficient routine going about. If I tell her to continue what she was doing as I felt comfortable, she might just stop talking to me and not believe me with how far out the comment was.
"No… nevermind, don't worry about it." My lips tugged out from side to side with fingers picking up the pace on the tapping.
"Alright then, report every detail to me. And we are getting another new hire in the office today as well; HR told me last week in an email and I specifically recommended you for the on-hire process.
"…Okay." Speaking out casually as I tried to ignore her.
"Also!" Yunkyoung's voice rose as she smacked my shoulder, causing me to wince out in a feigned amount of pain. "Don't go around trying to seduce her because she might be young and pretty!" My body turned out in the chair and gave her a puzzling look, head tilted off to the side and lips became agape at her ridiculous request - not that I had any plans to seduce any said new-hire. But the face she thought I would have the audacity to do such a thing.
"All men like cute and young girls, so I'm warning you in advance. She gets canned immediately if that happens." Her dainty finger pointing out at me and nearing my forehead, she was asserting her position over me when I tried to roll back in my seat to get some space between the two of us.
"Yeah, yeah. Obviously, I wouldn't be doing anything. No point in risking my career." Shrugging my shoulders out at her, unsure of why she would accuse me of such a thing. I've never once in the past three years of working here have I crossed a line with anyone.
"I'll be keeping an eye on you, so watch yourself." The pink-haired girl spoke as she walked away, not having other words to speak to me about when she was nearly across the hall and into her office. My arms crossed against my chest and leaning back against the comfort of the seat to try to get an idea of why she would suddenly speak of this. I'm already too tired to think about training someone else, and it seems like it's someone she might even know if she's making disparaging comments like this.
Would she be coming in soon? Or when exactly should I be expecting a new face in the boring slums of the office?
Still, if something bad happens. Good things are bound to happen as well, or whatever uplifting phrases are the norm nowadays. As I chipped away and widdled down my research a reminiscent sound rang out. The messenger app the office used to communicate with one another.
"The part-timer is coming up now, and I've assigned her to help with your chores for the day." Yunkyoung. Nobody else would have sent someone like that. And what chores do I have, exactly?
The sound of a shuffling pair of feet came and rang in my ears as Yunkyoung gave me a wide grin when passing by my desk, our eyes gazing at each other with her orbs forming crescents that looked all too adorable and familiar. There shouldn't be too much of an introductory party thought, right? Since it was only the two of us here?
"Ahem, excuse me!!" Yunkyoung's voice rose as time seemed to go by quickly, not realizing that she might have introduced herself already to the new girl. Unsure at her actions though as it was just us two and she could have just spoken normally instead of whatever voice she was trying to capture. "Let me introduce you to Kim Yeonhee. She'll be working in our department starting today."
My eyes peered at the new girl who sported a blonde pigtail look. Her top spoke volumes with how contrasted the color was to everything else in the office. It was a breath of fresh air but if this was how her wardrobe was - it was something I had to acclimate to. Not one to complain too much though, always a big fan of change and if someone kickstarts it I'm all for it.
Standing from my seat and giving a courtesy bow and extended my hand to the foreign girl, trying to make her feel welcome with my rugged expression and attempting my best grin out in hopes she wouldn't get frightened off.
++
"She doesn't seem too bad, right?" Yunkyoung pulled me aside during our lunch break, going to the roof to enjoy a bit of the sunlight and escape the dungeon that was our workspace. I leaned back against the railing with a coffee in hand that the gracious Yeonhee grabbed for me as I wasn't too sure what else to make her do. She didn't know any of the basics; no excel, quickbooks, or any of that sort. But hey! She was pleasant on the eyes, maybe as much as our boss was. "I picked someone who's a hard worker so you could get some rest. "
The shorter girl got closer to me and dragged me by the tie to pull me in for a chaste kiss. My arms drooped down to our sides and wrapping her small frame around my grasp, keeping her in close and forgetting what I was about to say, all thoughts went out the window as our lips became one. Despite being a polar opposite of the girl I was addicted, no matter how much complaining and whining I would do. It all came down to this in the end and I have no regrets.
My motivation to work slowly declined and vanished into the air, her lips was so intoxicating. She was so… aimlessly flirty, for a girl that was an extrovert it was all but a surprise when she came to me. Or if I succumbed to her and I was twirling around her fingers. My cheekbone was getting embraced when I felt the inches lessen more between us, chest to chest with my breathing getting heavier. Running my hands up and down on her body and landed on her rear that I envisioned, it's been far too long since the last escapade I did with her. When my lips parted, her long freshly varnished nails found their way to the buttons of her shirt.
"I've noticed you checking me out, silly. Don't play dumb." She spoke with utter confidence with how it oozed out of her voice. She continued to smirk at me while undressing her shirt until the last button was undone.
My hands going up like she was an officer and I was trying not to be guilty of my crime. "My bad, and I thought I was being discreet." A toothy grin came about from me, making the girl giggle at my response. She put both of her hands to my jaw and pulled myself in for another kiss - longer this time. My eyes fluttered to a close to let the darkness envelop over me and hearing the sounds of lip-locking and having the wind be an adlib to the music that drew to my ears. The plastic cup of coffee fell to the floor beneath us and my hands found it's way towards her back, finding the clasp of her bra and un-doing it. Her bosoms weren't the biggest, but they were perfect for her stature. And in general, she was absolutely divine and sculpted so beautifully.
My hands immediately went towards her chest and cupped them from the underside, massaging them in a circular motion but both in different directions from one another, feeling her perky nipples spring against the palm of my hand as I couldn't take my eyes off her face and how it contorted when getting played with. Her nipples kept rising in time with my loving touches, tensing and becoming utterly stiff, and they were begging to get licked and sucked on.
Her hands reached to the back of my head, which I took as an open invitation. With an open mouth, feeling the insides of it begin to drool and seep out, having to gulp down a small pool of saliva that formed in the pit of my mouth and throwing my face between the peaks of her chest. They were a delight for me - and any man in general. Taking a deep breath and inhaling her scent, feeling her body and humming out gleefully at the mixture of perfume residue and sweat that built up.
My wet tongue embraced the soft and stiff nipple, making a diligent attempt to suck it off. But it was still stuck no matter how hard and long I sucked that little meat marshmallow. Letting out moans against her supple skin and feeling it reverberate out and showcasing how much I enjoyed it. Her moans were stifled out by the fact she didn't want to be all too loud. Not wanting the newcomer nor the public to hear how ratchet she could become as they were still in the eyes of the public - if one were to look up at spot them that was.
Making a trail of kisses from the middle of her chest and stopping right below her belly button. My hands following right along and hiking up her tight skirt and using a bit of elbow grease to fully cup them above her waist.
"No panties today, Yunky?" A curious brow raised up from me and slipping my dominant hand between her inner thighs and discovering the forbidden secret that now only us two know.
"Hehe, oops. Might have forgotten to put a pair on today!" Her words were feeble and ineffective, but she spoke out in such a bright, girlish voice that made her seem like a naive, innocent girl. This sort of acting made me fall more her and just shrugging my body in a non-caring manner.
Taking a glance down between her thick thighs and noticing the girl was sporting a beautiful and clean-shaven pussy. Her lower lips were small and thin but still distinct enough to realize that it was her curved shape. How healthy and pink it was and… well soaked? After a caring caressing of her bosoms. Everything was easily spotted enough and picking out apart from one another.
Yunkyoung was my own oasis. Maybe my personal one with how things were being drawn out. Dipping my head in deeper down and slurped up more of the pink-haired girl's sweet juices - as much as I could. Playing with her clit and flaps with my decadent tongue. My wet muscle was doing a fabulous job (or so I thought, with how many moans she slipped out and grabbed onto my hair.) Her pussy tasted to divine, so heavenly and never wanting to leave, but I was on a limit. Lunch time was almost over and we couldn't spend the full allotted time doing this when there was a newbie on the insides. It was too unfortunate that he couldn't fill her insides with white, but there should be another time when they handle the rest of this.
Making small kisses on the innards of her thighs and sliding my tongue against her skin. SMall purple marks on her white skin to let her know who was just there. Maybe even Yeonhee could spot it if she was diligent enough to notice any differences.
"Why -- why'd you stop?" Yunky's voice got so whiny as I pulled my body up, my legs felt wobbly from standing on my heels for the past half hour and needing to get the blood pumping in them again before they slept on themselves.
"Yeonhee's gonna start searching the office and realize we left and came back together if she's smart enough." Rolling the cuffs on my sleeves up and wiping any lingering liquids on my mouth before gazing down at her. Seeing what a disheveled mess she was and buttoning up her blouse one by one, making sure to leave her bra behind as a treat for me when we get back to the daily tasks at hand.
"Besides, knowing you, you might need some time to doll yourself up again so I might just head back down first so it doesn't look too suspicious to her." My body slumped down to grab the littered cup of coffee that was previously on the floor, walking on over to the trash bin, and turning around to spot the girl one final time in her state. Seeing how she was looking at herself in the camera on her phone she had those worries to think about now before finally heading back over to my desk.
Stepping back into the fray of things and seeing Yeonhee diligently work on her tasks I gave out to her before the break, seeing how she might have just ignored her lunch in itself to try to get an inkling better at the job.
"Alright, Yeonhee." Making sure my voice was loud and clear as I stood above her cubicle. Just thinking about this got my head hurting already and I can't seem to communicate properly. My hand going up to my forehead to try to wane off any of the pain. Yunkyoung did mention that she picked up a hard worker to help with my work. All Yeonhee has to do is work hard.
"So what do you know how to do? You don't know any of the basic office programs on your computer, you can't make paper copies…" With each thing I listed out, she shook her head, hands on her lap with her pleading eyes looking up at me. Why did Yunky choose her - or the company in general? Surely this isn't another case of some family problem going on…
"Wow… this is why young children -"
"You're saying boomer stuff now." My head whipped over to the girl with a shocked expression, eyes widening at her words with her hands covering up her lips. "Oops."

i was wonderin if u have any (more) little!grian thoughts? m actually super tiny (on call with mama >:3) so i’m thinking about it a lot… baby bird go brrrrrr…!!!!
i personally like it when scar and mumbo are his caregivers, i think tha scar would b super silly but mumbo would be very nervous, at least at first!! i hc tha scar has lots of cg experience but mumbos never done it before!! they’re so silly to meee i’m normal (autistic) ab them lol
(also may i b 🌟 anon? if u do that?)
can do !!
Grian does NOT like regressing. doesn't like regressing, hates being small. it makes him feel weak and vulnerable and he hates having to ask for help, so it's really hard to him to get into that sort of headspace.
if he had his way he would never ever regress, ever ever ever, and if he absolutely had to regress then nobody would know about it!!! not even mumbo !!!
but. unfortunately, (for him), he does regress.
He's got a collection of age ranges- most of his casual regression (the stuff he does to avoid the brunt of it) is a lot older, from 10 to around 19 or so. being a teen makes him feel like he can get away without having a caregiver. he's old enough to look after himself !!
when he isn't casually regressing, (either because he was triggered by something or coaxed into it), then he's a lot younger. anywhere from 4-9, usually hovering around 5 or 6. (this is the age range scar usually bonks him down to)
when he's SUPER triggered by something he freaks out a LOT and gets absolutely tiny- this is when he's around 0-1. babyspace man, cannot talk, cannot move on his own. cries a lot.
he's always trying to cling to ages that give him the ability to DO things, so he tends to try to be as old as he can- so he's only in babyspace when something really really negatively triggering happened.
uuuhm personally i like watcher!grian so he's a watcher! personal watcher headcanons give him the ability to look into other worlds, peek at what his friends are doing, and give him shapeshifting abilities. normally he just uses his shapeshifting to give himself different types of wings, but when he's regressing he will lose control over the shapeshifting, and he will shift to look the age he feels like.
because mumbo consumed his soul in season 8, mumbo has shapeshifting as well, but it only really happens by accident while he's regressing. (mumbo doesn't mind, he likes being small enough to be picked up)
Scar, Mumbo, and Iskall are his main caregivers! other folks jump in where they can, (mostly soup group and sometimes cub if he's around). Grian claims to have no caregiver at all, he's so super big and doesn't need one, but when he's feeling smaller than normal he'll find himself gravitating towards Scar or Mumbo , depending on who's online and around and not busy.
Scar is super no-nonsense and does NOT put up with any of his crap. they sat down and talked about what the arrangement meant for the two of them- exactly what scar would be doing as a caregiver, what rules they have set in place, all those kinds of things. Scar will make Grian follow the rules they set in place- they're rules for a reason. he enforces them, punishes grian if he fights them too much, and all of this sounds negative but scar isn't mean!!
he enforces rules but he's also like. will pop in and make grian cookies out of nowhere. he knows all of grian's tells and will sneakily bonk him so the kid stops stressing himself out over stuff, so he can sit down and actually plan out the rest of his builds, so he can SLEEP once in a while. jellie is a sort of familiar to him, or is just kinda somehow always around, so he asks her to give grian cuddles all the time. she is excellent to hold during panic attacks or if he's trying to get kiddos to sleep.
on a good spoon day he will let grian ride around on his shoulders (the kid can shapeshift, and bird bones make him super light), on a bad spoon day he'll sit in bed with the kid and they'll color together or watch movies or play games.
Scar calls him things like uhh Little G, G-man, little bird, baby bird, sweet thing, fledgling, pretty bird, etc.
Scar is very clumsy and silly and all around a good time. very much lives up to his name this guy yes yes
Mumbo would be nervous at first, yes !! in season 6 when they're just getting used to each other and Grian is. Grian. he's super nervous about it and doesn't know what to do the first time Grian crashes with his elytra and starts sobbing his eyes out. it's a learning experience for both of them
Nowadays Mumbo's kinda like Scar?
and i'm realizing this as im typing, maybe i have them mixed up. Mumbo would be no nonsense, doesn't let Grian get away with breaking rules and things and Scar would be weak to puppy dog eyes and let Grian get away with stuff probably.
hmmm. idk. they're pretty similar this is probably fine sjdkflsj
depends on the day, i guess. maybe different grian ages. they're good at reading his tells, adapting to what the kid needs. most of the time they're pretty firm with rules, but if g needs them to be a little softer then they'll back off a bit and bend the rules a little :3
mumbo learned the hard way not to let grian near any form of. anything, (build, redstone, etc) when he's little cause it WILL get ruined beyond repair unfortunately,
Mumbo calls him bud and buddy and that's about it i think
uhhh what else. the rest of the people i said babysit and they're all nice and bend the rules all the time for grian and he gets away with so much. little bugger sjflksj
uuuhm what else. he has a baby blanket that he lugs around during mornings when he doesn't want to get out of bed, and he will beg his caregivers at night to let him warm up the blanket in the dryer or something so it can be toasty for him while he tries to sleep :3
he likes stuff that makes noise, so he has a few rattles and fidgety things that make noise
he has exactly ONE decorated pacifier- a gift from mumbo- the rest are plain cause the decorated one stresses him out he doesn't want to ruin it
he HATES onesies. he does have a parrot one and he hates it when they make him wear it cause it's childish and dumb and they can only get him to put it on when he's an entire baby <3
he has a little plush canary- a gift from the bad boys. its name is Rye :3 - he would probably have more plushes but idk what they would be tbh
has a couple of lightly decorated bottles and sippy cups, some with stickers or just the default designs in red and blue
and now. diaps.
he wets the bed sometimes, so he wears protection at night!
likes diaps that fit his aesthetic- so mostly red and bird themed. does NOT like wetness indicators cause he hates it when people can tell he's wet
sometimes wears them during the day because he'll get absorbed into a build and forget he has bodily functions (or ignores his bodily functions until it's too late, unfortunately,)
usually tries to change himself but does ask for help if he's small enough.
i need to watch more bigb but now i'm thinking about little g with caregiver bigb......

🌷💙💛
Annika thank youuu! it's Madsy time
from this ask game
🌷 In what ways would your OC alter their body if they could? How would they do it using mundane means (hair dye, surgery, make-up?). What is their ideal look for themself?
Madrigal would consider bottom surgery and mayyybe FFS but has complicated feelings about both and doesn't really think it's worth all the time/hassle/recovery. she's not interested in taking hormones, either. but she's pretty lanky and doesn't really like that, she would love to gain some extra mass but has a hard time keeping weight on haha.
anything more surface level/cosmetic she doesn't put too much thought into, honestly. she's comfortable enough with the way she looks now. she's actually pretty pleased to see herself getting a few wrinkles and the occasional gray hair, there was a time in her life she didn't think she'd survive long enough to see them.
💙 What did your OC want to be when they grew up and why? Did they have any lifelong dreams or ambitions they never got to work on or are they currently working to achieve this dream? Has their life taken a very unexpected turn and put all these plans on hold for a while or have they given up on any dreams?
her whole life, she knew she would never go far from the sea. when she was very young, she probably wanted to be a pirate captain. into her teens and when she enrolled for college, she wanted to be a marine geologist. but she had to drop out for...... Reasons and wound up, eventually, in overseas shipping, and she's pretty much given up on any dreams/ambitions from her early life.
💛 In general, how in control of their emotions is your OC? Do they have a good hold on them or do their emotions control them, not the other way around? What do you think is the reason behind this and is your OC ever concerned about their lack of or good control?
she thinks she has excellent control of her emotions lol. she is very good at disguising how she's feeling and can be very hard to read most of the time, but that's because Madrigal is the type to bottle up everything until it all explodes over absolutely nothing one day. she's only concerned about it if she feels like she's made herself vulnerable to someone she doesn't trust (which is pretty much everyone except like, two people).
