Honestly, probably dogs for the whole group. Intentionally or not, there seems to be a running theme of 'meaner creatures' like bats, rats, and wolves for Dracula, while dogs are shown as the main animals always in opposition to him. They bark and howl like crazy at his arrival--that Whitby mastiff likely died trying to fight him, the poor kicked dog tried to out him while he was hiding in the suicide grave, and then Art's own terriers came to the rescue against his rat hoard.

Dracula is the Big Bad Wolf while the heroes are the Big Good Dogs there to bite him in the ass for going after their people.
