2002!Adam: This is so cool. I’ve always wanted brothers.
80s!Adam: What about Adora?
2002!Adam: Who?
80s!Adam: Nevermind. So you can shoot lightning?
CGI!Adam: I’d rather not talk about this.
80s!Adam: No. I don’t mean to-
CGI!Adam: Are you teasing me?
Revelation!Adam: No! No. No. He’s not teasing you. It’s just that…we can’t do that, so naturally we’re curious as to how your sword works. That’s all.
80s!Adam: If it’s personal I don’t want to pry.
CGI!Adam: I wish I could tell you. But I just…I just do it. It just happens.
2002!Adam: Hey. What are some of the craziest villains you guys have fought?
CGI!Adam: I fought an army of snake creatures.
2002!Adam: No way. I fought an army of snake people too. They were lead by King Hiss.
Revelation!Adam: I wanna fight snake creatures.

The cartoons I watched growing up had a lot of 'pro-social' messages, as all cartoons do. Very often they were of dubious intent ("the naysayer is always wrong" as epitomized by Eric in the D&D cartoon) or hamfisted and easily ignored (any anti-drug episode except the Bravestarr one)
Not this one though...
"The bad guys don't even treat their 'friends' well" was among the most obvious, but we didn't notice we were learning it because it makes for entertaining, bickering villains doing three stooges routines to each other and finding elaborate ways to call their subordinates idiots.
But I think of this in every "leopards ate my face" situation.
You joined the evil forces of Snake Mountain, what did you expect? A dental plan?

I love how Jason’s entire time in jail is basically giving off “leave me alone this the most peace I’ve had in a month” vibes
he’s not even sweatin’ over the fact he didn’t kill the Joker
probably thinking either they’re lookin’ at the wrong one or even thinking “figures” because fuckin guy never dies

Teela’s Quest
Teela attempts to discover her mother’s identity. Orko accidentally builds a bomb. Mer-Man summons an elder god. The Sorceress drops some MOTU Revelation foreshadowing and then erases Teela’s memory because, I don’t know, reasons.
Episode Highlights:
Huh, wonder if he did anything else after this? :p
Man-At-Arms builds a machine that can project images from peoples’ memories. The royal family uses this purely for entertainment.
A sweet moment with young Teela and her dad.
Zoar poses for US currency.
Seems like a safe place for a baby.
Moral: Adoptive parents are just as legitimate as biological ones.

If you actually believe there are "virtually no" middle aged or elderly gay men left you need to log the fuck off and go to LGBT+ spaces in real life and go talk to them. They have stories they want to tell. They have lessons they want to share. They want to pass on the lives of the friends they knew who are gone, and those who are still with us.
Believing that they're "all gone" because you're in an internet echo chamber where they don't happen to spend their time is erasing their existence.
