#AT THE SAME TIME it's so hard to imagine this for characters like Luffy and Zoro

Do you have HC how Law and Luffy behaves when they have have disagreement with each other aka the couple fight? And how they resolve it?
I think it's must be challenging for these two knowing how both are hard to open to people about their problems and being honest to each other
AND I THINK- it'll be funny if they like like both being out of character during the fight, just imagine Trafalgar who's always composed and collected kind of person is suddenly being easily irritated, sulky, and moody. This left the Hearts unsure of what to do, because their confident captain act like troubled teenage girl out of the blue
And Luffy... Being quiet for once, always seems to lost in thoughts, even say no to usopp and chopper usual shenanigans. He still eat a lot tho, i mean it's Luffy. But it's less chaotic for once n the Strawhats dining table. The crew don't know whether they should thank god it's calm here for once or worry for their captain
maybe Luffy will ask for advice to someone wise enough for this (looking at Robin here, or maybe shell approach the captain first noticing the change in behavior?)
Please share your thoughts! 🙇

Hmm... I didn't really have any HC about them fighting, I kind of figured they would just yell at each other until one of them caved or they just had really obnoxious i-hate-you-but-i-love-you sex. THAT BEING SAID, I like that one and so I will take it and run with it.
Law and Luffy had a fight. Sure, it wasn't their first, Law was always berating Luffy for not following his plans and Luffy had gotten frustrated with the way Law doesn't seem to care enough about those around him but this one was different. It was stupid, Luffy couldn't even remember what the fight was about in the first place but he knew that he was the one in the wrong. He said a lot of cruel things to Law and the moment they came out of his mouth, Luffy regretted them. He didn't think Law was a heartless jerk and he didn't hate him. No, he loved Law and he was just frustrated and it led him to say stupid things he didn't even mean.
But he didn't get the chance to take back his words and makeup with Law because as soon as Law comprehended what he said, he told him that he was an idiot, their alliance and relationship were over, and he never wanted to see him again before shambling back to his ship and leaving with his crew. Luffy was left there in shock. He never thought Law would actually break up with him and run away without hashing out their feelings.
See, Luffy wasn't the best at conflict resolution, he grew up with Sabo, Ace, Gramps, and Dadan and they always solved their problems by fighting both verbally and physically until they finally made up. His crewmates were the same and no argument ever went unresolved for more than a few hours. Except for the times when his crewmates almost left him, but those were different fights and they never really wanted to leave in the first place. No, he was scared that Law meant it and he really didn't ever want to see him again.
Luffy was left with this heaviness in his heart unlike anything he had felt before and he had no idea how to make things right with Law. Should he bring him food? No, Law doesn't really care about food that much and he said he didn't want to see him again. Should he say sorry and that he won't do it again? Yeah he was sorry so he needed to say it, but he can't promise he won't do it again, that would be lying. How would he even find Law to apologize? There was no telling where he went off to and the sea was a big place, especially to find a submarine that they couldn't even see if it was below the surface.
Thankfully, Robin was Luffy's knight in shining armor. She and Nami decided that Luffy is sensitive right now and Nami's tough love might not work this time. They saw the cogs turning in his head and knew that things like love and relationships aren't really Luffy's specialty. It didn't help that Law isn't the easiest person to figure out although they know he loves Luffy deeply and they were pretty sure he didn't mean anything he said, he was just angry and responding to Luffy's cruel words.
They were already planning on helping Luffy, but it was pretty amusing to watch every single man on the crew pull them both aside and beg them to help Luffy because they were freaked out by their depressed captain who had been uncharacteristically sulking and quiet with a frown etched on his face since his argument with Law.
Sanji cooked Luffy all his favorite foods and although he ate everything, he took his time instead of tossing it into his face and didn't compliment him on how good it was or smile. Chopper and Usopp tried to play games and go fishing but Luffy didn't want to, saying he wasn't in the mood right now. Brook sang him a love song to cheer him up but it only made him sadder. Franky made some special modifications to one of his robots he knew Luffy would think was awesome but he just nodded and seemed far away when he showed him. And Zoro? Well, he just took a nap with Luffy like he always does because he can deal with an angry Luffy, but a sad Luffy who was upset over fighting with his boyfriend? Well, that was more Nami or the stupid cook's specialty.
As for Law, his crew is terrified and he knows it. He's locked himself in his room for most of the time, refusing to let anyone in. Shachi and Penguin of course tried to listen through the door and they were shocked to hear that Law was just sobbing in there like a baby and it made them even more worried.
When Law does emerge, he's off his rocker, screaming at everyone for the tiniest things; a crumb on the floor, talking too loud, his rice being too dry, anything sets him off on a rage-filled tangent. Even Bepo can't calm him down though he's tried with many hugs and offers to nap with him. Not only that, Law is clearly exhausted. His eyes are bloodshot and the bags are worse than usual and it's obvious he hasn't slept in days. He won't talk to them and they have no idea what to do to help their poor lovesick Captain.
See, Law is great at problem-solving. It's his thing. But Luffy has always been a problem he cannot solve. Sure, he was in the one in the wrong here and he said nasty things but Law knows he went too far. Yes, Luffy was an idiot but he didn't want to end their alliance or their relationship, in fact, that was the last thing he wanted to do. Although he drove him crazy sometimes, Luffy made him happier than he'd ever been before. But he was the one who ran away and he can't just go grovel at Luffy's feet like some pathetic loser, even if he wanted to. His pride is too strong for that and he's afraid that Luffy's might be too.
Law's biggest fear is that they will never resolve this and that terrifies him because he's so in love with Luffy. Yes, he's awful at expressing it and doesn't even know if Luffy even knows how important he is to him but he truly loves him more than anyone in the world.
What if they never make up? What if Luffy hates him for breaking up with him like that and doesn't want to be with him anymore? He can't comprehend a reality where Luffy isn't in his life, he'd rather just be dead. But he can't be the one to reach out. He can't go beg for love on his knees. He needs Luffy to come back and tell him that he's sorry so he knows for sure that Luffy 's feelings are just as deep as his are. Until then, he's just stuck on this damn submarine losing his mind and taking it out on his crew which he knows is wrong but he can't help himself. Now instead of having one person to apologize to, he has 20.
After a talk with Robin, Luffy decides he is going to apologize because he can't stand the idea of Law being mad at him and hating him forever. He loves Law a lot and maybe if he tells him that and is extra nice, Law will forgive him.
Nami steps in, calling Law on the den den mushi about to rip him a new one and demand he meets up with them now. Thankfully for Law, a concerned Bepo answered instead of the captain. Nami simmers down. explaining the situation and that Luffy wants to meet up with Law so they can make up. Bepo is relieved, he can't stand Law being sad anymore and the crew is going crazy stuck undersea with their miserable volatile captain. They arrange a meeting point and Bepo turns the ship around. Law is so distraught that he doesn't even notice the course change.
That is until they surface. He flies out of his room to figure out what is going on because he didn't authorize a surface and they weren't supposed to reach the next island for a few more days.
Before he can reach the control room, seething and about to rip his crew a new one, he's met with Luffy standing in the hallway of the Polar Tang. Wait what? How'd he get here? Why? Was he just sleep-deprived and seeing things? Law is in shock, his pinched expression softening the moment he sees Luffy's big round eyes filled with so much concern and love.
He's here. He came back.
Before Law can plan his next move, Luffy launches himself into his arms, knocking him to the floor. Law can't even be angry at how much it hurts because Luffy is kissing him more desperately than he ever has before. He can feel his sorrow, his apology, and his passion. From the way Luffy's hands thread in his hair and his tongue begs for entrance into his mouth, Law can tell that he has been just as distraught as him.
He kisses Luffy back just as desperately, hungry for his affection and pulls him closer, feeling the tension that has been wrecking his body these past days dissipate. He doesn't even care what they fought about, none of that matters anyway. He had forgiven him the moment he stormed off the Sunny that day. Luffy breaks their kiss, looking down at Law with big round eyes brimming with tears and he can't help but think how cute he looks even though he's about to cry.
"Toraooo I'm so sorry. I didn't mean any of it, I was just being stupid. I love you so much and I never want to fight with you ever again. Please please forgive me, I'll do anything just don't hate me and break up with me," Luffy pleads, tears streaming down his cheeks and dropping down onto Law's face.
He'd never seen Luffy cry before though he recalled his brother Sabo mentioning in their brief interaction in Dressrosa that Luffy was quite the crybaby when they were kids. It warmed his heart knowing that Luffy cares so deeply about him that he would actually shed tears for him, but also breaks it knowing that his stupidity made him cry. Law heaves a sigh sitting up and pulling Luffy up with him so he was sitting on his lap with his legs wrapped snugly around his waist. He wipes the tears from his eyes with his thumb and places a hand on his cheek. Luffy is quiet for once, waiting for Law's response to his plea.
"Of course I forgive you. I forgave you the moment I left. I'm sorry too, it wasn't right of me to say those things I didn't mean and run away. I should have stayed and worked it out with you like an adult. From now on if we disagree, we'll talk about it until we figure it out, okay?" Law spoke calmly, watching as Luffy's face filled with relief.
He wiped his tears, the smile that Law cherished so dearly blooming on his face. Law realized that he forgot one very important thing in his response. "Oh, and I love you too, you idiot," he grumbled with an eyeroll though he knew Luffy would notice the soft smile that grazed his lips as he said the words he probably didn't express enough.
Luffy's face lit up even more as he pulled him in for a bone-crushing hug, burying his face in Law's neck, Law quietly rubbing his back and savoring the closeness even though he felt like he was going to stop breathing any second.
"So does this mean we're not broken up anymore?" Luffy asks peeking up at Law after a few moments of comfortable silence between them.
"No, we're not broken up. We never were, I was saying stupid shit," Law tsked at his own insolence.
"Sooo should we go tell our crews that we made up? My friends have been really worried and the polar bear seemed like he was too when he talked to Nami," Luffy asked and although he was right,
"We should, but not yet. I think we still have some more making up to do in my room. I think they'll get the hint if we don't come back for awhile," Law leaned in close, his lips grazing Luffy's ear as his hand slid down to gently caress the small of Luffy's back. He felt Luffy's body shiver under him, giving him the exact response he wanted. He had Luffy here, putty in his hands and he was absolutely going to take advantage of it.
"Ohhh, are you talking about the makeup sex thing Nami mentioned when I was leaving?" Luffy perked up, his cheeks stained with an incredibly endearing blush. He silently thanked Nami for putting that idea in his head.
"Yes, that's exactly what I'm talking about. Now let's go before I decide I can't wait until we get to my room," Law said bluntly, already feeling his arousal building as Luffy rocked himself against his lap ever so slightly, showing him that he was very much interested in exploring this unexplored territory in their relationship.
"Okay, take me to your room so I can show you just how sorry I am, Torao," Law didn't have to be told twice, standing up off the floor with Luffy still wrapped around him like a koala on a tree.
"I look forward to it," he murmured with a devilish grin as he made his way towards his quarters, casting his room so it would be clear to anyone who came near that he was busy and also preventing them from hearing the terribly wonderful things he and Luffy were about to do with each other after their first, and hopefully last real fight.

Will Zoro leave Luffy after they achieve their dreams? Not likely
Saying Zoro's gonna voluntarily leave Luffy at the end of OP so he can "live his own life" (i.e. get married, open a dojo, hang out in bars) is so wild to me. That's like saying Luffy's gonna give up adventuring so he can sit around and gorge himself on meat
First of all, it ignores that Zoro genuinely enjoys traveling with Luffy. Luffy (who's always getting into trouble) gives Zoro the chance to be his best self. And Zoro (who very much wants to be his best self) will always seize that chance with both hands
Second, both characters are like...the poster children of wanting to have their cake and eat it too. If you're Luffy or Zoro, you rarely need to make either/or choices. That's what makes them unique. It's why they've both got conqueror's haki! Basically: If Zoro wants to drink until he blacks out? If he wants to nap all day? Hell, if he wants to get lost in a paper bag?? He is like a big cat. He will do what he wants, wherever he is. He doesn't need to leave Luffy to get those things LOL
Third, Luffy's made it clear the Pirate King needs no less than the Greatest Swordsman by his side. Why would that suddenly stop once they've both achieved their dreams? Is Luffy going to quit being Pirate King? Why would he? Luffy wants to be the most free in the world, so he can live the life he wants...with the people he wants to live it with
In other words, Luffy isn't letting Zoro go without a fight — not unless Luffy genuinely feels he's no longer the type of man Zoro would want to travel with. And wouldn't that be the worst ending for both of them?

You were on Nami and Zoro’s side when it came to whatever was going on in Syrup Village. Kaya’s mansion made you feel vaguely unsettled, and stepping into the building made your heart pound quicker than you would like to admit. But if there was one thing that piqued your interest, it was the order of changing clothes for dinner. You’d been stuck in the same few outfits for weeks now, and the promise of something new—and formal—was nearly exciting, although you’d never admit it in front of Nami and her disapproving gaze.
Kaya’s kindness combined with the private guest room and bath you were treated to helped soothe your nerves. Soon you found yourself being led to the giant closet the rest of the Straw Hats were already in—Nami was trying on various different pieces, and Zoro seemed to have something in hand too.
“Ah, there you are!” Luffy said, swiveling on his heel and giving you a big grin as you entered the room. You stared in disbelief at all of the racks around you. Hell, there were even clothes hanging from the ceiling.
“Well, we certainly have a lot of options,” you said, skimming a hand over a nearby rack. There were a variety of different fabrics, but they all felt expensive: silk and velvet, damasks and brocades. “I don’t even know where to start.”
“I’m just trying on anything,” Nami called from where she was, before stepping out from the room divider she’d been changing behind. She wore an emerald dress with a plunging neckline, the patterned silk clinging to her curves, and did a little spin. “What do you think?”
Luffy shrugged. Zoro wrinkled his nose, barely glancing up from the armchair he was lounging on. “I think it looks nice,” you offered, but Nami still seemed dissuaded.
“Ugh, these two are impossible. What are you going to wear?”
“Uh, I’m getting there,” you said with a little laugh. “It’s a bit overwhelming; I’d rather help you guys pick first. Luffy, have you found something yet?” You turned towards the man in the center of the room, who nodded enthusiastically.
“Yeah, I found this!” He raised up a black waistcoat. You frowned at it.
“Um, Luffy, waistcoats are supposed to be worn with a suit,” you said, then paused, seeing his blank look. “...Never mind.”
“And I’m wearing black,” Zoro added, despite the piece of clothing slung along his lap definitely not being black. You exchanged a glance with Nami, who just rolled her eyes. They’re stupid, she mouthed, then returned to the rack she was glancing through. She worked quickly, pulling out various numbers that she scrutinized before either setting on the couch beside her or putting back.
“Okay,” you said slowly. “Need me to find you some pants with that, Cap?” Nami and Zoro let out identical groans as you spoke the pet name, both turning to give you exasperated looks. You suppressed your laugh.
“Stop calling him that,” Zoro said with a tired sigh. “You’re encouraging him.”
“Kind of the point, yeah,” you said cheerfully. While Zoro and Nami were both still largely unconvinced about the whole pirate crew thing, you’d joined the bandwagon rather quickly. Zoro rolled his eyes, and you turned towards the racks to find Luffy some slacks. “Assumedly you need something other than that shirt too?”
“I’ll look later,” Zoro said passively. You watched him out of your peripheral vision. He was outfitted in a patterned kimono, his three swords slung along his lap. He didn’t seem too interested in his surroundings, though what he was doing, you weren’t sure. You let him be, turning to page through the racks of clothes again. Finally you found a pair of slacks that seemed like they’d fit Luffy.
“Here,” you said, passing them over to him. “And find some shoes while you’re at it.”
“Why does she even have clothes that don’t fit her?” Zoro murmured, sounding as baffled as he could get. “What, she just casually has clothes in all four of our sizes hanging around?”
“Rich people own things just to own them,” Nami called. She’d changed again; this dress had a halter neckline and was blush pink. Zoro motioned with a hand at it, and Nami frowned, glancing down at the dress. “You don’t like it?”
“Eh,” Zoro said. Nami made a face.
“At this point I think you’re hating just to hate.” She pulled up a few more options, narrowing her eyes as she surveyed them. Luffy was seemingly satisfied with what you’d given him, because he took the pieces off of their hangers and slung them over his shoulder.
“I’m off,” he announced. “Gonna go change in my room and do some exploring before dinner. Have fun!” With that, he left, and Nami sighed, turning towards you. She held up her final two options—a red cheongsam with delicate gold embroidery and a pastel blue dress with an a-line skirt. You gnawed on your bottom lip as you studied the two.
“I think the blue one might wash you out a bit,” you said eventually; it’d clash with her hair no doubt, and make her skin look even paler. The shade wasn’t a right match with her eyes, either. “I like the cheongsam; I think you should go with that one. It contrasts nicely with your hair.”
Nami raised up the dress again, inspecting it. “You’re right,” she said, ducking back behind the room divider to change. You started pursuing the racks again; Nami stepped out a few moments later, successfully outfitted in her new dress. “Okay, I’m going to go do my hair in my guest room. Good luck.”
“Bye,” you called, watching as she left the room. You clicked your tongue, almost alone now and with absolutely zero options of clothing. As much as you liked the idea of new clothes, the abundance of options was starting to seem a little daunting. “Okay, now that Nami’s done, it’s my turn to play dress-up.”
Zoro laughed from where he sat, and you startled, almost having forgotten he was there. He was watching you attentively, his attention having diverted from whatever it was he’d been thinking about earlier. “You like this kind of thing?”
“Well, I mean.” You shrugged, peering at a few of the pieces on the rack in front of you. You pulled out a deep green dress, eyeing the lace by the neckline before setting it back. “It’s kind of fun, isn’t it?”
“Not really what I’m into.”
“You wear jewelry, so clearly you have some fashionable instinct,” you pointed out, bending over to glance at the clothes hiding by your knees. These were all skirts or unreasonably short dresses, with so little fabric you were uncertain they would cover anything at all. “Unless the earrings are for another reason…?”
“Three swords, three earrings.”
“Makes sense. What are you wearing with your shirt?” You glanced back to see Zoro’s answer, but he merely shrugged. “Do you want me to find you some trousers? A suit?”
“You don’t need to find clothes for me. I can do that myself.” Still, Zoro made absolutely no move to do so. You rolled your eyes, but turned your attention back on what you’d be wearing for the dinner. Vaguely you wondered how Zoro would look wearing a suit. You flushed almost as soon as the thought popped into your head, shoving it into the very back of your skull and banishing it from seeing the light of day.
“If you say so,” you said instead, mostly to distract yourself from the beyond inappropriate thoughts starting to run through your head. Honestly, you barely knew your crew mates—the four of you were close to tearing each other’s throats out before you ran into Buggy, after all. And the fact that Zoro was, well, conventionally attractive—and you tried to keep your thoughts on that and that alone, anything emotional was strictly out of the question—shouldn’t be something your mind lingered on.
You picked out the first dress that looked to be your size. It was dark purple, backless with a tight trumpet skirt. Ducking behind the room divider Nami had used, you stripped off your clothes, donning the dress. There was a mirror along the other side of the divider, and you turned, trying to appraise the dress on your figure. The color didn’t look entirely right, and you were uneasy about the lack of mobility the skirt might have—Kaya’s staff were still extremely suspicious, after all, and you’d rather be safe than sorry.
“Let me see,” Zoro called from outside. You tugged at the dress, suddenly nervous, but stepped out after you couldn’t find a good enough excuse not to. Zoro’s eyes ran up and down your figure, and you did a slow circle, showing off the dress. The bare skin of your back prickled.
“You’re not going to be able to move in it,” he eventually said.
You huffed out a breath, the nervous energy that had accumulated in your chest leaving with the action. Something in your belly stirred; disappointment, maybe, that Zoro had only commented on the practicality of the dress, not how you looked in it. But you pushed those thoughts away with an angry shove. Not the time, and definitely not the person to be thinking those sorts of things about. “Yeah, that’s what I was worried about. Let me find something else.”
Zoro’s gaze didn’t flicker from your body as you started across the room, ducking between more racks to find something. “You dead-set on a dress?”
“I haven’t worn a dress in a while,” you answered, picking out a red one before remembering Nami’s choice and setting it back. “Might as well take the opportunity.” The next one you pulled was blue, all shiny and soft. The material looked like some kind of tender silk. You set it aside to try on. “Why?”
“Haven’t seen either you or Nami in a dress before.”
“Actually, you have. I’m wearing one right now and Nami tried like five on earlier,” you said, glancing over your shoulder to shoot Zoro an unimpressed look. He scoffed, though there was a smile at the edges of his mouth as he turned his head away. Your next choice was soft pink, and made of tulle that vaguely resembled a puff pastry. You pulled it up. “Think I should try it?”
“I mean, pick whatever,” Zoro said, though he seemed mildly disgusted by the amount of fabric the skirt had, all bunched up with layers like something a ballerina might wear. “What are you trying to achieve with the dress?”
“What am I—I’m trying to look nice, Zoro,” you said, stifling your laughter. You set the pink dress back, replacing it with a sage green number instead. “Not everything has ulterior motives.”
“You always look nice.”
You froze, a soft chill curling around the back of your neck. Carefully, you straightened up from where’d you been bent over yet another rack of clothes, turning to look Zoro in the eye. His eyes hadn’t moved. “Oh,” you managed out, throat all dry and tongue like sandpaper in your mouth. “Well, thank you.”
Zoro cleared his throat, a dull noise he made in the hollow of his throat without even parting his lips. His gaze flickered away. “Yeah. Go try those on.”
Wordlessly, you stepped back behind the room divider and slipped on the blue dress. It had a texture like water—it was some kind of high-end silk, flexible enough that it was near liquid in movement. The dress itself fell to your ankles, and had a simple square neckline. You stepped outside, doing another slow twirl. “Better,” Zoro said.
“Better how?”
“You can probably run in it.”
You twisted your lips, trying to suppress the urge to turn them down into a frown. “Okay. It’s not doing it for me.” You ducked back behind the divider to change yet again; the sage green one was satin, with long sleeves and a neckline you hadn’t anticipated would be that deep.
Still, upon exiting the divider and turning for Zoro again, he didn’t have any worthwhile feedback. “It’s kind of plain,” he said eventually, not meeting your eyes.
You huffed, crossing your arms over your chest; you had to almost resist stomping over to the racks to find something more, and spent another few minutes gathering dresses and trying them on.
To your immense disappointment, each one garnered little to no reaction from Zoro. You even shoved on one of the tiny, too-little fabric dresses you’d disapproved of earlier, but all Zoro did was scan you from head to toe and say, rather flatly, “you’d get stabbed pretty easily in that.”
Frustration bled into your nerves as you hid behind the divider again. You glared at yourself in the mirror—your skin had started flushing with how annoyed you were getting, which might’ve been funny had you not been so ticked off. Men, you thought, irritated. Was it really so hard to tell you that you looked pretty?
He’s a bounty hunter, you had to remind yourself. He doesn’t care about this kind of thing. Besides, he was the last person you should be setting your sights on anyway. You tugged at the short dress, the hem just barely grazing the tops of your thighs.
You heard footsteps approaching from outside the divider, suddenly too close as you snapped yourself out of the reverie of thoughts you’d been lost in. Zoro turned the corner, arm propped up against the divider edge as he peered in, brows furrowed. “You stopped coming out,” he said. He was still in his kimono, swords tossed over one shoulder. The shirt he had was, assumedly, left on the couch he’d finally stood up from.
“I’m frustrated,” you told him blandly. His frown deepened.
“Because of… clothing?”
You suppressed the sigh that threatened to escape your lungs. “Never mind. I’m fresh out of ideas.” You pushed past Zoro, opting to stand in the center of the room as if analyzing it from a different view would magically give you more options. Zoro turned to stare, still looking perplexed. “With so many options, it’s hard to make up my mind, that’s all.”
“Uh huh.” Zoro was still studying you. “Did I do something?”
“What? No,” you said hastily. Too hastily. The words had ripped out of your throat like a hiccup, and you seriously needed to learn how to lie a bit better because now Zoro’s expression was even more confused. “No. Why would I be mad at you?”
“I don’t know. That’s why I’m asking.”
“It’s nothing,” you insisted, turning away from Zoro to stare at some of the clothes hanging on the wall above his head. These were too high up to properly look at, and as you stepped back, you glanced through the dresses hanging off the arch of the ceiling. You perused them without too much interest, eyes glancing over the various colors and fabrics until—
Zoro stepped next to you. “Hey,” he said, and you jolted, head snapping down to look at him. You let out a noise of irritation, then turned your focus back on the ceiling.
Your gaze flickered through the racks until finally falling on one particular dress hanging by the mouth of the room. It was somewhat hidden, tucked in a little corner beside a few other pieces, but from your vantage point it seemed about your size.
You took a step closer to it, surveying it with your neck craned. The material looked soft and comfortable but it still retained shape, and the color—even in the dim lighting of the closet—was one of your favorites. The undertone would suit your skin perfectly. And, well, you didn’t want to put all your bets on one dress you hadn’t even touched, but it was certainly promising.
Zoro stepped past you, barely exerting any effort to reach up and bring the dress down from where it hung up high. “This one, right?” he asked, and you swallowed, some of the annoyances you had towards him dissolving as he extended the dress hanger towards you. You nodded wordlessly, taking it. You stood there for a second before Zoro gestured with his head towards the divider. “Go try it on.”
You did so, retreating safely behind your wall and stepping out of the little dress. You surveyed the one Zoro had grabbed for you again, heart lodged in your throat. It really was beautiful, and exactly your style; now that you saw it up close, you could safely affirm it was your size too, but nervousness still pulsed through your veins at it.
Carefully, you slipped it on, adjusting the fabric around your hips and fixing up the neckline to rest evenly on your skin.
Zoro spoke out from the rest of the room. “So why are you mad at me?”
“I’m not—” you sighed, dropping your arms before returning to fiddle with the dress. “I’m not mad at you.”
“Is it because I wasn’t being helpful with the clothes? Because I already said that’s not exactly my area of expertise—”
“It’s not because of the clothes, Zoro,” you said sharply, cutting him off. Zoro clicked his tongue, the sound reverberating around the room and thudding in time with your heartbeat. You turned your attention back onto your reflection. “It’s just me being silly. Don’t worry about it.”
‘I’m worrying about it,” Zoro deadpanned. You sighed, adjusting the dress one final time before arranging your hair and staring at yourself in the mirror. It fit you perfectly, emphasizing all the right places and hiding all the parts of your body you were more insecure about. “Changed yet?”
“Yeah,” you said, voice limp.
“Let me see.”
You bit your lip, suddenly nervous about how he’d react. Knowing him, it’d be something like it’s okay or the color’s fine; perhaps can you even walk in that? or weird shape if he was feeling a little more critical. Still, you stepped out anyway, not meeting Zoro’s eyes as you spun for him, letting him look at the dress from all angles. When you’d finished posing you glanced up, eyes meeting him tentatively.
“It’s…” Zoro cleared his throat, ripping his gaze away from the dress on your figure to flicker up to your face. His gaze dropped again nearly as fast, like he couldn’t bear to keep eye contact. “Uh.”
“It’s what?” you prompted, turning to face the nearest mirror. Your lips twisted into a worried frown, turning to glance at the dress again. Was it really not as perfect as you’d thought originally? “Do you like it? It’s my favorite so far, I think, but if you don’t like it—”
“You look pretty in that,” Zoro blurted, cutting your rambles off with the strident, too-loud sentence. You froze, eyes flickering to meet him in the mirror. Carefully, he glanced up at you, and you could see his Adam’s apple bob as he swallowed hard.
“Oh.”
Zoro coughed, averting his gaze as you slowly turned around to face him. You couldn’t see properly with the less-than-ideal lighting of the room, but his face seemed to have taken on a ruddier complexion. “I like it,” he said, words softer than they’d been before. “It’s the one.”
There was a little rush of something through your veins, and you felt vaguely lightheaded. “Okay,” you barely managed to squeak out. “Thanks.” You stumbled back behind the divider, sucking in a deep breath and trying to regulate your breathing. God, this was actually shameful at this point.
You composed yourself quickly, gathering all the dresses you’d tried on and abandoned to return to their proper places. Zoro was still watching you attentively, and you glanced over your shoulder at him. Sparks prickled along your skin as your eyes met. “What?” you asked.
“You’re acting weird.”
“Am not.”
Zoro stood up, rolling back his shoulders and stretching his head from side to side. He glanced through the racks and, without even a minute’s hesitation, plucked a suit jacket and matching pants out from beside him. “Yeah, you are. What’s up?”
“You’re just grabbing those without thinking about it?” you demanded, eager to change the subject. Zoro rolled his eyes.
“I picked them like fifteen minutes ago,” he said. “Just didn’t grab them until you were done your whole… thing. Now spill it. You’re all red again.”
You swiveled towards the closest mirror, unable to suppress your gape as you saw that your skin had indeed turned a distinctive shade of scarlet, flushed undertones creeping their way up your skin. It was entirely recognizable even in the terrible lighting. Even your skin was treacherous, now. “Nothing,” you muttered, unable to meet Zoro’s eyes as you spit it out. “I was annoyed because you weren’t telling me what you thought of the dresses.”
“I… did, though?” Zoro said, perplexed. You let out a grating sigh, cheeks flaring even hotter now that he was forcing you to confess the entire extent of your sins.
“Yeah, like, practically,” you said, wrapping your arms defensively over your chest. “You’ll get stabbed in that so easily. You won’t be able to walk. I just wanted you to tell me that—” you cut yourself off with another groan. “Don’t make me say it.”
Zoro blinked. “I have no idea what you’re edging towards, so you’re going to have to say it.”
“I just wanted you to tell me I looked nice!” you finally burst out, turning so you wouldn’t have to look at Zoro’s face. God, you were going to have to quit the Straw Hats after this. It was so entirely stupid.
“But—” There was a laugh in Zoro’s voice, and you glared down at the floor, all of your dignity having left you by this point. You had no shame left to feel anymore. “I said ‘you always look nice’. Doesn’t that insinuate—”
“That’s not the point,” you said hotly, tone almost argumentative now. “I wanted you to think I looked pretty in a dress, Zoro.”
Zoro didn’t respond for a moment, brows creasing and face taking on a baffled expression. “But why—” Zoro cut himself off, and you turned even redder, holding your breath as he finally connected the dots. A single word fell from his lips, like a soft breath of air as he spoke. “Oh.”
“Oh,” you muttered under your breath, unable to stop the almost whining tone your voice took on. Zoro stepped closer to you, a hand wrapping around your wrist and forcing you to look up at him.
“I said you looked pretty in this one.”
“I know,” you insisted, still all red, “which is why I’m not totally mad at you, but—”
“You looked pretty in all of them,” Zoro said. He didn’t look bashful, per se—you didn’t think Zoro could get shy—but his voice was low, all hoarse in a more tentative way rather than one of his grating remarks this time. “For the record.”
Your breath caught.
“This one’s my favorite, though,” Zoro muttered. And then he was leaning down to kiss you, the ghost of his lips just on the corner of your mouth. You gaped up at him in shock as he averted his gaze, staring at some spot about your head. “Was that—” he started, before clearing his throat and trying again with a little more of his dignity this time. “Was that okay?”
“Yes,” you blurted fervently, and before you could fix up the moment with something more, well, suitable, your big mouth ruined it for you. “But I think we’re holding up dinner. You should get changed, and I still need to find shoes.”
You bit your tongue immediately after the words had been said, but it was too late—Zoro coughed, turning away from you. You panicked, and now it was your turn to grab his arm and tug you towards him. “Wait!”
Zoro glanced down at you, perplexed, and then you leaned up to kiss him square on the mouth. He stumbled back, surprised, but adjusted quickly, hand going to cradle the back of your neck and pressing you right to him before you finally broke apart.
“You should steal it,” he started. You stared up at him in question. “The dress, I mean. You should steal it.”
“When am I ever going to need to wear this again?” you asked, perplexed. Zoro shrugged, fingers tugging at the edge of the dress's neckline.
“Dunno. Just take it. She probably won’t even notice.”
“You’re adorable,” you teased; Zoro wrinkled his nose but didn’t complain, opting instead to move away and pick up the clothes he still hadn’t changed into. “Go change. See you at dinner.”
“Yeah,” Zoro said, his eyes not straying from your figure as you ducked out of the room. Before you could fully leave, though, Zoro grabbed your wrist, spinning you around towards him.
You didn’t have enough time to ask what he was doing when he leaned around to kiss you one final time, his hands cradling your face as your lips moved against each other. It was only a moment later that he stepped away, looking rather sheepish but not very apologetic as he finally let you go.
“You look more than pretty,” he murmured, eyes sinking into yours, and your throat dried, any words you might’ve formed dying away within seconds. “You always look more than pretty. You look gorgeous.”
“Thank you,” you whispered, and then he ducked back inside the closet to change.

A polyamorous relationship with them!
Op men!: kid/killer zoro/sanji law/luffy
WARNING: ReaderF! Polyamorous relationship NSFW, Contains homosexual relationships between characters!
Tumblr media
Kid/Killer
It's the most fun relationship you can have!
kid is your partner in pranks and dirty jokes, always up to mischief around the ship
but if you like quiet chats with a coffee, killer will always be there to listen to you, he's really good at listening and giving objective opinions
I remind you, they are very big, so their group hugs completely crush you.
I feel like killer is more into hugs, hugging you from behind and being there almost all the time.
kid is more into kisses, messy kisses with tongue in the middle, with his hands roaming all over your body
It's very sweet to see them share little kisses between the two
Sleeping with them is also a comical experience
I remind you for the second time, they each take up a king-size bed.
so you sleep on kid's chest face down, while kid holds you by the waist with one hand, and the other arm around killer (nice mental image)
sex with them is something wild and rough
Usually, the sessions last between 3 or 4 HOURS (a fallen soldier)
Kid always takes the lead, he's a dominant, and you're not going to take his place
killer, to be honest, is kind of the same, he can be sub or dom (although he does like being dom a bit)
Kid usually lets killer play with you while he's in the corner of the room, watching everything.
killer tends to praise you while biting and licking every inch of your skin
kid is more into saying things like "you little slut! do you like what killer is doing to your pussy, huh?"
the aftercare is very tender and sweet, well, kid tries to stay awake, as he usually falls asleep after 5 minutes.
killer is more about bringing you water and snacks if it was a long session, preparing a shower for all three (obviously having to drag kid into the shower)
Tumblr media
sanji/zoro
These two always seem to be arguing
like a couple who have been married for 50 years.
But they do love each other for real…just that it's a bit hard for them to admit it.
Usually, your time with Sanji is on some island, buying food (which was the main mission), but he ends up getting distracted by looking at dresses in the shop windows, saying you have to try them on RIGHT NOW.
On the other hand, Zoro loves it when you join him in his 30-minute naps while you're together hugging. He says it's cheesy and silly to be like that, but deep down, he loves it. Sometimes Sanji joins in (just because you told him to).
Sanji is always touching you (holding your hand, your waist, brushing your hair, etc.) because he can't stand being away from you. Even if you're right beside him, he always has to have you close!
Zoro is a bit calmer with that, but there are times he likes to tease Sanji, grabbing you by the waist and carrying you on his shoulder away from the cook.
But they also show affection to each other…giving each other little love pecks when you're not looking…and sometimes it escalates to something more.
Sleeping with them is a bit tricky (usually, Zoro is busy at night taking care of the ship, but let's pretend they almost always sleep together).
Usually, Sanji loves being in front of you and Zoro hugging you from behind, but problems arise when it's midnight…
It's a constant push and pull!
Sex is really exciting.
The rounds last for 2 hours (which is not short) but…
they leave you stargazing for hours!
Imagine leaning on the table, sharpening Zoro's sword and having a full view of your backside, while he hits your sweet spot
and meanwhile, Sanji is below, licking and sucking your clit while pleasuring himself
simply glorious
Sanji tends to be very loud, moaning and shouting Zoro's and your name
Zoro is more of a grunter and curses under his breath, but the occasional moan escapes him
The aftercare involves Sanji preparing some tea or some ointment to soothe any pains or discomfort, while Zoro pampers you with small kisses on your head until Sanji arrives and they nap together for a while
Tumblr media
Law/luffy
A very complementary relationship!
Luffy is like a little kid, you have to keep up with his mischief ALL THE TIME!
but it's really fun to follow him and play some pranks on Law, even though he might get mad afterwards and not talk to us for hours (it was worth it)
Luffy loves hugs! he's always with his arms stretched out hugging you and giving you uncontrollable kisses all over your face
Law is a bit more shy, especially in public, he'll shake your hand and that's it, but when they get home he tends to pamper them a lot.
Law really likes it when you two are in his room while he studies or works, seeing you cuddled up on the couch while you caress a nearly asleep Luffy, is something he loves about you
Sleeping with Law is not a problem… Luffy is
he tends to fall off the bed ALL the time, so now Luffy sleeps in the middle, lying on his back while you hug and kiss him
they don't usually have sex much… but it's still very rewarding
it usually lasts between 2 to 3 hours
Law is a fan of BDSM (NO ONE WILL MAKE ME THINK OTHERWISE) and SUB/DOM games
Luffy and you are the submissives, trying to please Law in various ways possible so he gives you your well-deserved "rewards"
An important detail is that Luffy is very inexperienced at first but gradually learns more, to the point where he'll try to be dominant with you (only sometimes)
They usually end up with a lot of moans and screams of passion among the three.
post-care is very important to Law!
he makes sure they've had enough water and gives massages in a specific place if they're in pain.
he would punish Luffy if he left too many hickeys (even if he did too) because it could be "dangerous"
but in the end, it always ends up being a good nap with lots of hugs and kisses (and Luffy's snoring)

When they have a crush on you
«─────────── « ⋅ʚ♡ɞ⋅ » ───────────»
▸ Characters; Law, Kidd, Luffy
▸ Warnings; GN reader
▸ a/n; my first OP work !!!! im still trying to grasp how to write for them but !!! i hope you all enjoy :] (psst- requests are open!)
«─────────── « ⋅ʚ♡ɞ⋅ » ───────────»
-> LAW
▸ Law refuses to show any emotional vulnerability. So when he realizes that YOU are the one making his emotions go absolutely haywire- its not a good scene.
▸ He cares about you so much. He doesnt form attachments easily, so when he does prepare for him to never let go.
▸ He starts to avoid you. Like, you cannot find him on the polar tang type of avoiding. He's afraid to put you in serious danger, he's wanted by the world covernment, has billions of beri on his head- he couldn't stand to put you in more danger.
▸ Law SAYS he is perfectly content with holding these feelings in until he dies. He is lying. At some point his frustration comes to a head and he just , corners you in the sub after not speaking to you for THREE WEEKS and word vomits all his emotions out while looking like a tomato.
▸ If you accept law is . surprisingly elated. This commitment doesn't feel heavy or scary like he imagined. He's not the biggest fan of PDA but he ABSOLUTELY links pinkies with you when walking around. (bepo, shaichi, and penguin are yall's biggest fans ever. they SO hide in the bushes during the first date and get discovered 😭)
▸ If you reject law .. he'll retreat back into his shell. He was open with you, and now he probably wont be. ever again. Really awkward interactions ensue.
-> KIDD
▸ He's so oblivious to his own emotions !!!!!! He's so mean to you all the time but he's killing anyone who lays a hand on you. He feels nauseous and feverish and embarrassed whenever he's around you but he's anxious and jittery when you're NOT around!
▸ He gets sooo jealous too. you could be like, sitting next to someone and he'll be breaking a tankard in his fist 😭.
▸ HE TRIES SO HARD TO IMPRESS YOU!!! He's smashing someone's face in extra flashily when you look his way. Carrying super heavy objects when youre in his vicinity. showing you all his latest inventions. He's almost like a really aggressive, abrasive puppy waiting on you to praise him.
▸ He probably blurts out all of his feelings when you sit just a little too close after one too many beers. He's raging at you for "making my head all spinny" and "making me feel like im gonna vomit glitter" while Heat and Wire are cackling in the background. Killer has his head in his hands while Kidd continues his drunken rant.
▸ If you somehow manage to wrangle him back to the ship and accept his confession, you will have a clingy, kissy kidd to deal with. He will not let you go. Your post-confession gift is a cranky, hungover kidd.
▸ If you reject him ... Kidd practically explodes. Not at you, but everyone who pisses him off is getting chewed out 10x as bad. He's hurt, and he needs time to tend his wounds. Your friendship will never be the same, but he won't make your life a living hell.
-> LUFFY
▸ Luffy is straightforward, honest, and determined. If he likes you, he'll say it loud and clear. He doesn't exactly know the line between romantic and platonic feelings, so it'll take someone like robin or sanji to clear that up for him.
▸ He is also very physically affectionate. Where you go, luffy goes. You have to practically beg to go to the bathroom alone. Skinny, Tall, Short, Chubby; luffy loves it all! He gomu-gomu no cuddles you constantly.
▸ He doesn't really get jealous. He trusts you! And he knows youre great, so obviously everyone would want to spend time with you! Just make sure he's in your top priorities.
▸ Luffy's confession is in everything he does. He never steals from your plate unless he's given permission, always makes sure you get the best cuts of meat / best quality veggies. He may just suddenly hold you and kiss you if hes in the mood. Luffy is probably on the aro/ace spectrum, so your relationship may be on the platonic spectrum some days + the romantic spectrum some days.
▸ If you turn down all of Luffy's advances, hes naturally a little let down. He won't stop caring about you, but he'll attempt (key word; attempt) to give you space and not be so affectionate. (how could you possibly turn this boy down >:[)

What do you like most about each of the old men?
Okay Okay! SO I got a list!!
These probably don't make sense but I'm trying!
Buggy-
Tumblr media
• I love his weird personality, how he is is both funny and almost scary at the same time. Yet his own natural quirkiness betrays him 80% of the time.
• Is actually funny to me? Like his jokes in the show actually make me laugh while others find them annoying.
• Super pretty hair and facial scruff
• I dig the clown thing- IDK why 🤷🏾‍♀️
• I also oddly respect him. Like imagine failing that many times, doing it again and again and succeeding in your own way? Paired with the fact Buggy never revealed he was one of Roger's Apprentices unlike some of his other peers. It wasn't something he used to boost his own power/publicity {Even if the reason could have been so the Marines wouldn't arrest him} But he did in a way make a name for himself by himself
Shanks
Tumblr media
• Honestly he just scratches my Daddy issues just right ✅️
• I love his voice? Japanese, English, or LA I just adore the way he sounds in each one. Maybe it's his lines but it's always so relaxing to hear
• He is just so damn Loyal, I adore it 😍 Just that level of dedication to his crew and those that are important to him I love to the deepest part of me!
• Once again! Pretty hair and that facial scruff!
• Honestly when he has his character breaks like when he was yelling at Luffy to call him a dumbass I laughed so hard. I feel like if I saw more of this side- That Goofy drunk that is just happy to be there UGH! ❤️
Mihawk
Tumblr media
• Ah Mihawk- The representation of my first crush- Captian Hook from the 2003 Peter Pan- {if you don't know who I'm talking about Google it- He was played by Jason Isaacs 😩💦}
• Daddy Issues coming out once more! 2/3!!
• He is the perfect, rational man that thinks things through has a clean house, cooks and will tell you if you're stupid.
• That sword work- he's great with his hands 👀
• Lastly is actually his stoic personality. I really admire that and just how level headed he is- while he is level headed he supports those 'Wild Cards' in the world and is cool with eccentric and unique people. He sees it as important to the world and while it's not his way, He respects it. I admire that honestly.

The Three Captain's Interview (2021) Part 2: Mayumi Tanaka as Luffy & Namikawa Daisuke as Kidd - Translated
Tumblr media
The ask I received got deleted, I'm sorry! 😩
I've decided not to half-ass it, here's the remaining part of the interview with Namikawa san and Mayumi san's answers.
👒 : Tanaka Mayumi (Luffy)
🌷 : Namikawa Daisuke (Captain Kidd)
+ Kamiya Hiroshi as Law (already translated, check here)
-
Q. How did you feel when you got the role?
Tumblr media
👒: I was mostly indifferent, as the work (the manga) itself was unknown to me back then. In retrospect, I think it was for the best. I mean, if you know it's a deeply beloved work, you'd feel greedy, won't you? That's why I passed the audition without feeling nervous. Looking back now, maybe it matched Luffy's freedom.
🌷: I remember vividly. Among the eleven rookies with more than 100 million bounty, Kidd's was the highest. I had a clear image of the voice that would express Kidd's powerful appearance, but I couldn't imagine myself playing the role of Kidd. So, I didn't know how to do the voice. I kept thinking about it while recording. I still have a hard time doing Kidd's voice, but it was even harder back then than it is now.
-
Q. Did you have any specific thoughts or feelings while playing in One Piece?
Tumblr media
👒: In One Piece, there is the unshakable pillar called 'Eiichiro Oda' , but it's not enough to rely on him. I want people to think, "Wow, One Piece really is amazing" when - including myself, all the individual creators' imagination, music, scenarios, and everything else come together! We'd like to continue to create moments in anime that surpass the original manga.
🌷: Many One piece fans would say it's "fire" when expressing their opinions. Thinking about what makes them feel fired up, I can clearly see it in the scripts. The lines of a good scene are spread over several cuts. I feel that the timing; or rather, the process of speech delivery is given a high importance. So, in pursuit of an impact on the audience, when the scripts says "haah?" I myself try to stretch it with "HA~aah??" - to make everyone feel even more fired up.
[T/N: The Japanese word used was "hot", while "fire" expresses a different type of feeling, I think it works as a closer substitute.]
-
Q. Impression of the character you're currently playing?
Tumblr media
👒: Someone who accepts his weakness, says "I can't" when he can't do something and then relies on his friends, and never wavers from the freedom of doing so.
🌷: He's surprisingly kind and considerate of his crew mates. He'd often say "Let's go!" and bring along some of them, but that's not because he's afraid. I interpret it as saying, "I'll protect y'all no matter what, so let's enjoy the thrill of going ahead together!"
-
Q. Thoughts on Mayumi Tanaka's Luffy?
Tumblr media
🌷: Unwavering...isn't he? The story moves on, but the same old Luffy is always there. Regardless of the state you're in while watching anime, you can always relax and enjoy One piece. I think this is where Mayumi san's Luffy comes off as an undisputed champion. It's quite difficult to keep things the same for decades, so I have deep respect for it.
-
Q. Thoughts on Daisuke Namikawa's Kidd and Hiroshi Kamiya's Law?
Tumblr media
👒: Some voice actors separate their personal lives from work, but those two are as transparent as I am! It doesn't have to do with their roles, but that makes it comfortable to work with them, so I enjoy it a lot.
🌷: Law looks cool, but he has his passionate sides; he has the calm aura, but he also becomes emotional. You need to incorporate a variety of elements to express those subtle ups and down in a Law-like manner, so I think it's an incredibly difficult role. That's why I think Kamiya kun puts a lot of thoughts and efforts in his performance.
That said, I can't help but feel a storm of jealousy regarding their rankings in the worldwide popularity poll (laughs). Law was in top 5, and Kid was 23rd. Even though they don't have the same screentime frequency, they were introduced at the same time, yet the difference was so big... Like, I understand Law's charm, but it was frustrating!
-
Q. Do you think it's possible to win against Kaidou?
Tumblr media
👒: Of course, it's possible. But the absolute winner has to be Tesshô Genda (Kaido's voice actor). I don't think I can compete with that deep voice.. Well, I'd win though (laughs)
🌷: I want to believe that Kidd wouldn't lose his heart over his defeats. He doesn't intend to be beaten by anyone.
(T/N: Fun fact, Mayumi Tanaka doesn't read the manga. She only learns the manga's events when she reads her script. Sanji's actor Hiroaki Hirata does the same, and he admitted that he doesn't know much of the parts of story where sanji is absent.)

So those Kobylu/Coby ideas are gonna be: Fics of some AUs that I liked; Scar kissing; "I'm me"-"Despite everything, it's still you"; Nika and a newly ascended deity; Eyes don't lie (aka Nika's eyes are pink and I ran with it).
I desperately want to write for Cobylaw or Cobylawlu and Cobyuta (???) though. Downside is, I don't know how to write any of these characters. Luffy is notoriously difficult to write. I don't think a lot of OP fan knows how complex Koby's character is. Law should be easier by a tad, but I don't relate to him at all and that makes it hard to imagine him in my head. Uta??? Uta is a mess. She's so much and so little at the same time.
(Yeah I use Coby/Koby interchangeably what about it)

So you sneak for some alone time as soon as an opportunity happens... A/N: so, Zoro's Egghead outfit reveal, huh. not even going to pretend otherwise, it got me hard, harder than beast pirates outfit, and it's something. I'm a slut for cyberpunk, I'm a slut for Zoro, do the maths what cyberpunk Zoro has done to me 😂hope you gonna enjoy the horny ride!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Take some responsibility, will ya?” Zoro snarls into your ear, his breath hot and heavy on your skin. “Look what have you done to me.”
A little nook he dragged you into doesn’t even hide you two fully. Anyone walking into the room would immediately see everything, every little detail of what’s about to come. Just a thought of it makes you weak in knees and so wet you don’t even need him to touch you for your slick to overflow. As if you weren’t struggling enough with his aura alone…
Zoro’s gaze was piercing you from the moment you changed into the latex-like suit, sinful thoughts written on his face the more visibly, the more aggressive his eye gleamed. He didn’t even try to hide his intentions, this bastard, with his beastly smirk and bulge in extra tight pants. Little was left to your imagination with the way the futuristic outfit clung to his body; all the delicious muscles, his thick thighs, wide chest, powerful arms exposed and underlined. Ideas spurred in your mind, intense gaze plastered to your back stirred them and pushed just right, a familiar needy knot in your abdomen tightening way too fast for the situation you two were in.
You could swear nothing broke through your facade, not a single whim on your face, not a twitch of your equally exposed body. And yet, he knew. Could he sense it? Did something about your behavior betray you? Was it his extraordinary smell, picking up your arousal with ease? He eyed you like his little cornered prey, just waiting for a perfect opportunity to strike.
He pounced at you as soon as the others left the room.
“Walking in this tight—” He squeezes your ass before giving it a harsh, shamelessly loud spank— “latex suit right in front of me? Like a slut?”
He ruts against you, the huge bulge pressing to you with hunger, almost desperation. You could feel him pulse through the weird fabric; the layers of clothes between the two of you could as well just not exist. The shape of his hard, big cock is so distinct you can swear he’s already freed himself from pants.
But the slick feel, the incomparable friction of latex still remains.
“Do you want to do it right here, in front of Luffy?” Zoro nibbles on your ear lobe with a harsher thrust of hips at the same time. “Breed your little, tight hole?”
Something explodes close, the whole dome shaking. You budge, a tad startled, but he keeps you steady, his thick arm wrapped around you and pressing you close. An attempt to make you feel safe? A clean sign you’re his at this moment? A demonstration how little does he care about stuff outside your little, lewd bubble?
“Nu-uh, you’re not going anywhere.” He groans, the need in his voice turning it nearly demonic. “Not until I’m finished with you. Fuck, you turned me so hard, you little—”
Your pants slide down too easily for the fabric to be a true latex—and you thank Vegapunk for it with your whole body and mind. Zoro doesn’t ponder over that even for a split second, his huge hand slips between your legs, reaching for your folds.
“So wet already?” He chuckles and licks your ear. “Such a needy slut…”
The time’s short and neither of you lose it. He plays with your slick only for a moment before he rips his own pants down; his thick, veiny cock dry-thrusts against your ass, and he growls and clenches teeth on the back of your neck.
You mewl, needy and starved; your voice echoes through the room loud enough to break through the turmoil outside. A little itch of fear of being seen just stirs you on even more, you thrust hips back at him, begging for more attention.
“Yes, that’s right, ass up, whore.”
Zoro grabs your hip, angles you for his liking before entering you with one, rough thrust, almost the whole length in at once. The sudden stretch, the hot, thick pulse deep inside of you, has you screaming—but his hand immediately rests on your lips, almost cutting your air as he presses it hard.
“Not so loud, you gonna alarm Luffy.” He says but his hips immediately pick up with the speed, his hips slapping loudly against your ass. “Or maybe you want it? You want him, too? You think your slutty hole can take us both at once?”
You throb eagerly at the suggestion, clenching hard on him as he starts pounding into you, no thoughts, no mercy, just the primal need to breed you hard and well. Zoro’s breathy grunts, the strong squeeze of his arm around your torso, latex-adorned muscles pressed to your back, his cock simply drilling your insides—it just drives you crazy. Each feral thrust drags you a mile towards ecstasy, the knot in your abdomen so tight that you’re sure your mind will snap together with it.
“C’mon, cum.” Zoro’s voice is so heavy with lust you almost see white just from the words barked at you. “Be a good slut and cum for me.”
As if he’s pierced you with sheer will, you cream on his cock as soon as he orders, spasms of your body forcing him to clench you even tighter. He doesn’t stop nor slow down, mercilessly fucking you through your high.
“Mnnn, tight—” He growls and bites you again, harsher, so close to breaking your skin. His hips lose the rhythm, a few erratic thrusts later he cums, but even that can’t stop him. His hips don’t cease until you’re nothing but a trembling, life-less mess in his arms.
Explosions ring in your ears as you come down from your highs together, Zoro still deep in you, some of his thick load trickling down your slit despite the tight seal of his cock.
“Are you happy now?” He playfully scolds you and licks the nasty bite mark he’s left. “All well-bred… You like fighting with my cum on your thighs, huh?”
He slowly pulls out of you—and before letting you go, he guides you for a kiss: a hasty and hurried, but passionate one. There’s no time for affection and the right words, but he still wants to praise you, to appreciate and love, to promise even more.
“Keep that nice and in.” He takes a deep whiff of your sweaty skin as he helps you put your pants back on. “I want you to sit on my face when we’re finished with this hell.”

This post is relates to the current chapters in my Fem!Luffy AU, so read if you want but feel free to scroll.
Sanji has this thing about masculinity and machismo born from a combination of a childhood spent being ridiculed for having emotions and being a Normal Human, and then being raised on the Baratie, which is full of guys who are kind but similarly gruff. He doesn't express vulnerability easily, and he's used to showing he cares in indirect ways that avoids the mortifying ordeal of being known so to speak, especially in relation to other men, and especially men his own age.
I think Sanji by nature of his weird chauvinism would view Luffy as a figure of respect much more quickly than he does Lucy. While he likes her and is probably kinder to her than he was Luffy to start, it’s probably not until around the end of Arlong Park in my fic where Sanji really gets it in his head that Lucy’s in charge and worthy of following, as opposed to the fight on the Baratie in canon. He's just never in his life experienced and trusted himself to a capable female authority figure before, and Luffy, being a guy, would be a much easier and more natural model of leadership for Sanji, regardless of Luffy/Lucy's similarities in personality.
By the time Whole Cake Island comes around, Sanji is on board with Lucy's leadership 100%. He's exactly as loyal to her as he is to Luffy. But since Sanji's conflict in Whole Cake Island centers around his emotional turmoil and his own long-buried trauma and fear, I think Lucy would have a distinct advantage in dealing with it from Luffy. By virtue of Luffy being a guy, Sanji puts on a pretty strong front throughout their various interactions in the arc. He’s not someone who likes to be vulnerable in general, but around other guys (especially Zoro) it’s really obvious that he’s someone who fronts with machismo and aims for stoicism he doesn’t actually feel.
I’m convinced that when confronted with the same emotional turmoil before Lucy, he would actually express that emotion more honestly and openly.  She's his captain and his friend yes, so he still feels that sense of loyalty and need for honesty, but she's also a girl. The need to front masculinity isn't there. For Sanji, women have always been sources of emotional comfort and a safe place to express himself, and I don’t think that would change just because she’s a kind of authority figure, especially when they have so much history proving Lucy's trustworthiness.
I do think Lucy's position as a female authority figure/friend in Sanji's life would do interesting things to his psyche following Whole Cake Island. I think he'd probably view her more fraternally than he was previously, or than he does with Nami and Robin, who are decidedly Women to Sanji, though of course the three of them are friends. I don't think his behavior would necessarily change much, but the way he thinks about her, possibly.
I initially started writing this AU because I was interested in how Luffy/Lucy's gender would affect their personal development, and to reflect more severely/honestly some of the dangers depicted in the one piece world. Sanji and Usopp have always been the characters I have the hardest time dealing with in this fic for different reasons, but with Sanji specifically it's because he's so weird about women that it's hard to imagine him respecting one enough to follow her the way he does Luffy. It's been fun to write scenes depicting why Lucy's gender is an advantage to her leadership rather than a hindrance, especially when it features Sanji.
New chapter to be posted in a bit :)

Help you’re so good at writing for One Piece characters. I can’t get enough of your writing. 😭 Do you think you could do the Straw Hats with a gn reader who’s really into natural oddities/vulture culture?
VULTURE - STRAWHATS X READER
___________________________
Warnings : this is not proofread, the relationships can be read as platonic or romantic (except for Chopper’s, which is definitely platonic), reader is gender-neutral!
Genre : fluffy ig? not sure what this is
Word count : 1.6K words
Additional notes : Thank you so much for requesting and for being so so sweet😭💗 Sadly, given that I live in a 3rd world country, I really don’t know anything about any unique subcultures, considering that we’re not exposed to them at all🥲 I basically read up a bit from the internet, but I really don’t know if I represented this correctly. You didn’t specify whether it’s platonic or romantic, so (with the exception of Chopper’s being purely platonic), they can all be read as both. And since you requested all the Strawhats, I wrote them as headcanons. Let me know what you think!🥰

Tumblr media
Luffy is about as clueless on cultures as I am
Given that he has never noticed the fact that Kid is very clearly punk, and that Law has had some inclination towards being emo, I doubt he’d notice much unless he happened to stumble upon it himself
If he walks into a room and sees their collection of animal skulls, he’ll probably feel a little confused
“Eh? Would you do the same to Brook?”
Cue a lengthy explanation that no, no killing is involved, and that this is all 100% moral
He’s very easily impressed though, so if they show him a slightly morbid artwork that particularly fascinates them, they’ll have him hooked
If they even go as far to give him a real shark tooth necklace, for example, he’ll cherish it forever (bit of a hoarder of junk, really, so they’re enabling him even more)
Tumblr media
Another one who’s pretty oblivious to one’s interests, but this one’s most likely due to his come-what-may attitude towards life (pretentious ass mf /lh)
Zoro doesn’t get put off in the least by what others might find gruesome, though he does jump a little when he sees a bunch of bones on their nightstand
Afterwards he becomes pretty immune to it, and might even have a somewhat morbid fascination with their entire collection
The swordsman absolutely hates the cold, so if they gift him a lovely pelt-turned-coat for the winter he might just feel his heart melt in his chest
It becomes just as precious to him as Wado Ichimonji (after all, we all know how sentimental Zoro is when it comes to receiving gifts), even if he would rather die than admit it
Tumblr media
Sanji’s used to the slight morbidity—after all, Robin’s wild imagination made him rather immune to these sorts of things
However, he’s still a little put-off by the whole concept, no matter how hard they try to convince him that there’s no immorality involved in the process of collection; he’s the friendliest crewmember towards animals and still shivers every time he stumbles upon a piece in their collection
He does admire their devotion to the hobby, though, and wouldn’t dare shame them for it (considering that every single Strawhat has an odd quirk or two, himself included)
Other aspects though he’s totally fine with, since he knows that making pelts and jewelry out of animal parts is pretty expected of anyone, let alone someone who likes doing that
So while he avoids their collection of preserved bones in their drawers, he might find himself dearly treasuring a fur jacket or a ring carved out of bones that they’ve gifted him
Tumblr media
Usopp would absolutely scare himself silly the first time he stumbles upon the skull on the bookshelf, screaming at the top of his lungs
After having terrified the poor man, they laugh and explain that this is part of a hobby of theirs, and that there isn’t any actual killing involved
There’s no way he’ll ever grow fond of the preserved-skeleton aspect of it, but if they give him a simple bracelet made of smaller bones and prettily painted, he’ll grow to like it
Their best shot at winning him over is to show him a heavily detailed and stunning work of art; only then would he appreciate the time and effort put into it, no matter how terrifying the ideas of decay and death might be to him
He might even secretly hang up one they’ve gifted him on the wall of his workshop, and though it sometimes startles him, he likes to admire it every now and then
The artist in him is ooh’ing and ahh’ing but the scaredy cat in him is literally shaking in his boots
Tumblr media
Tough as Franky is, even he gets a little spooked sometimes, so he might jump a little at first, but that’s about it
Another lover of the arts and efforts put into anything handmade, he’ll express his awe at how super well-made the paintings are, and might even ask to look at them
He does enjoy lavish jewelry, so thy initially thought he’d think the ones made of bones and paws wouldn’t be worth much attention, but—to their pleasant surprise—he was fascinated by them and even borrowed them on occasions
Franky sometimes knocks himself out in his workshop, so if they made him a nice rug made out of 100% natural fur, he’d greatly appreciate it whenever he dozes off ontop of it
Given how compassionate he is and how much he values life, he’s glad that the methods used for acquiring all the bones and pelts were completely natural and moral—nothing else matters; he has a penchant for being attracted to people with odd hobbies and interests anyways
Tumblr media
As we all know, Brook (ironically enough) scares himself shitless the moment he sees anything even remotely frightening, like zombies and skeletons
After his initial cry of terror, he calms down upon learning that these were obtained through perfectly legal, moral, and natural ways, and were even beautified to look pleasing to the eye
He’ll still be a little jumpy every time he spots a skull or preserved bone, but—much like Franky—he’ll be very happy with receiving them in the form of jewelry; after all, he does like decking himself in extravagant outfits and accessories
Here’s a hint: they should give him a fox-fur scarf to replace the faux boa he already has, so every time he snuggles up to him he could swear he could feel the warmth he’s gone decades without
And though he might not be that well-versed on art, he’ll definitely frame any (slightly disturbing) paintings they give him
Tumblr media
Jinbe has seen everything and anything at this point, so nothing surprises him much anymore
He was rather curious himself, and quite pleased to know that there was no bloodshed involved in the process; for someone who’s spent almost his entire life staining his hands with blood he’s fond of the current respite and would rather avoid any more
But he would be grateful if they didn’t have any marine life among their collection—after all, he’s got quite a close connection to all that dwells underwater, and would feel uncomfortable to see them so lifeless and stripped of everything like that
He’s not entirely opposed to a necklace or a bracelet made of tiny bones, though, and if he did receive one as a gift from them, it’s unlikely that he would take them off
With a gentle smile on his face and a fond look in his eyes, he could listen to them talk about their hobby for hours, and absolutely will encourage them to do whatever they like
Tumblr media
I’m sorry but Chopper would absolutely get traumatized if he ever spotted a preserved animal skull
Now why would anyone do that to his poor heart
Given that he’s a literal blue-nosed reindeer, any collection of animal bones is an absolute no-no for him; it hits way too close to home (even if he has typical human characteristics)
Morbid artworks might give him a near heart attack when he stumbles upon them for the first time, but he slowly becomes immune to them, and might even grow to like them a bit (kind of like he did with Brook)
It might reassure him a little to remind him that the entire process was ethical and did not involve personally harming any of the animals
Still, he’d rather not receive any skeletal jewelry; the most he’d go so far so as to accept would be a little fur coat, though he has no need for it honestly, given his own warm fur
Tumblr media
Second to last after him would be Nami, given how she has an aversion to things that are even the slightest bit odd (it feels a lot like the whole Brook ordeal all over again, only more lifeless and off-putting)
She honestly doesn’t get what they find so fascinating about the hobby; she’d much rather admire the beauty of something more conventionally cute or pretty—still, she doesn’t shame them for it, much as she doesn’t understand them
Though she’s dead-set against going near any skeletons, and still isn’t entirely fond of the bone or paw jewelry, she’ll absolutely fawn over any fur clothes they offer her as a gift, and would go down protecting them with her life
She’s not too nitpicky about the ethics behind the process, but it’s impressive that no morals were compromised to produce them
The art might scare her quite a bit at first and she’ll impulsively scream on first sight, but after her heartbeat slows down once again she’ll be able to be a bit more appreciative of it, even if she’s not a huge fan of morbidity
Tumblr media
Now, Miss Nico Robin might just go down on one knee and propose that very instant they find out about their hobby
It’s no secret that she’s a huge fan of all things weird and terrifying under the sun, and to find someone with a similarly odd interest just makes her smile in the most stunning way without even noticing
Any themes of decay being depicted in the paintings they have? She’ll absolutely hang them up right beside her bunk bed, and would spend her days reading while glancing up at the art to admire it
If they happen to give her any crystallized bones or animal parts in a necklace or ring, she will swear to never take it off, and would definitely fall asleep wearing it (truthfully, she feels a little uneasy without it)
She already was very fond of animal furs, and liked decking herself in their various shades, but knowing that no animal was intentionally harmed to obtain the ones they gift her makes her feel especially grateful for the coats and scarves

I enjoyed OPLA and really did like some of the changes they made but now that it's marinated in my brain a bit. It's hard out here being a Sanji enjoyer fr
I feel like it didn't really show his sensitivity and vulnerability. You said something about Baratie arc feeling like a checklist and GOD yeah it really felt like that :'D I always forget the Mihawk fight happened there honestly and am disappointed that parts of the episodes were dedicated to tension between Nami, Luffy and Zoro about the duel rather than... you know... blorbo from my shows
He really did feel like a side character to his own story cause some of the most memorable things about him were completely missed or skimmed over. I h8 that he just talks about the All Blue and it's not that goofy smile from the animanga. Also that he doesn't watch the fight or have this moment of "wait, my dream is worth fighting for". It's kinda said to our face that "he doesn't leave cause he owes Zeff" but I don't feel it the same way I do in the animanga. I have so many weird feelings cause I love some aspects to OPLA. But as a Sanji fan, I'm sad that he's kinda barely in it? And that what they left in were just surface level observations about him: "he's a chef who fights and flirts" um, where's that self-loathing and self-destructive kindness huh??
At least he calls Zoro mosshead once though and I got the joy of replaying that scene in different languages and now know what "mosshead" is in a plethora of languages.
...also have you seen the YOUTOOZ figures for OPLA cause I'm haunted
I just...everyone was stripped of character but Sanji and Usopp were especially so ruined I really do not understand it. Like I'm sorry, using Sanji's pain and trauma as a lesson for Luffy IS a despicable way to frame it, even worse with Luffy not even ACKNOWLEDGING IT??
One's pain in One Piece does not exist to teach any other characters a lesson, Sanji starving on a rock for 2 months does not exist so he can just tell Luffy how hard it is to be a captain. Which doesn't even make SENSE because Zeff wasn't even SANJI'S CAPTAIN AT THE DAMN TIME. NOR HAS HE EVER BEEN?
I feel crazy because everyone seems very lukewarm on it, and maybe I am just insanely attached to Sanji and feel greatly touched by his story, but is using a character's original written trauma as a plot device for ANOTHER character not insulting? Is there ANY respect for Sanji's 2 months of hell there? There's a damn good reason Sanji's story existed to be his OWN and not a motivational speech for LUFFY??
Imagine if Zoro was like "My best friend died, changing the course of my life and putting me through a grief so heavy I now carry her dream with me. Sometimes death of a loved one is an inevitable factor" and Luffy's like "L+ratio+I would kill MY best friend for Sanji" LIKE...WHA....
This is pure insanity I feel like I'm being shot left and right with everything I hear, like I'm glad people are enjoying bits and pieces, truly, but the flaws and disrespect of original character are just so apparent they're doing my head in - especially with how tons of people are choosing to just ignore it.
They tried to give Luffy this weird Water 7 moment, where he had to learn how to be a captain, but this script failed to consider Luffy had to learn that HIMSELF of his OWN circumstances and decisions with Usopp. Yes he was helped by Zoro in Water 7, but Zoro didn't suddenly just trauma dump about how awful a past he had for Luffy to go "Cool. ANYWAYS!" LIKE I JUST...REALLY? Am I crazy or overly biased or what because god damn I'm just jaw dropped at all of this fhgkd
The Baratie is meant to be Luffy witnessing SANJI'S character, and learning of SANJI'S personality and morals - with Sanji then being inspired from Luffy. Where was that? Where was any of that? Why was Sanji's kindness, stubbornness and self-sacrifice side-lined for a character we've been with LONGER at that point to get a bigger spotlight? It's so weird I don't GET IIIIT DFGHJKD
HOWEVER, yes I have seen the merchandise and it scared me KHDFGJKD sorry for that I...truly had a lot of thoughts hhh

Reasons to love Mugiwaras: Usopp
It’s been ages but here we are again, back with the series  where I share thoughts about why I think a certain (main) character is popular in One Piece.
This series is mainly focused on the canon material but there might be bit about fillers/movies as well to make references on and since it’s impossible to include every single detail here, I try to pinpoint certain things but feel free to add stuff if something is missing :)
The very first time talked about Sanji and then I wrote about Nami.  This part is inspired by  Luffy vs Usopp amv  (when I realized I  haven’t pondered Luffy vs Usopp much in past).  Now let’s continue the  journey and talk  about  what makes Usopp popular and lovable character (in my opinion).
This  long post might include some unorganized thoughts, repeat and perhaps spoilers, so you’ve been warned!:D
Tumblr media
So first thing first about Usopp, in general. He is a great storyteller, a little cowardish but a great friend. Main reason I like in his character is that Usopp is very human. He isn’t the strongest one in the crew, has lots of things he is afraid of but he has a big heart and isn’t afraid to show his emotions.
Like other Straw Hats, he has a sad past too. There isn’t much told but we learnt that Yasopp has been in Shanks’ crew for a long time and Usopp’s  mother died of a illness when he was a kid. Hard to imagine this poor guy had to grow up all alone (basically) and he started lying at a early age.
It’s very heartbreaking to realize that reasons behind his "Pirates are coming”-thing was that deep down the little boy just wanted that his father could return back and he just tried to cheer his sick mom. He could’ve stopped after his mom passed away but maybe it was his way to handle the loss of both parents.
But I think it was really adorable that even though the villagers did seem annoyed by Usopp’s “prank”, then eventually when he didn’t do his daily basis (after beating Kuro) the villagers kept wondering where the sniper was, so this became sort of a “tradition” in his village. It’s great though that his friends a.k.a other members from the Usopp Pirate group decided to keep the traditions alive.
Tumblr media
Oda’s way to write characters is amazing and Usopp isn’t an exception. It is clear that Usopp has had a very steady development. Whereas lying and cowardness is partly used as comical reliefs and “running gags” of his, at the same there is much deeper meaning behind his behavior. Lying and storytelling is important part of what makes Usopp who he is and someone would say it’s not healthy but it’s probably where how tends to mask his flaws. We learn later in that deep down Usopp has lack of self-worth and fear of getting abandoned which results that especially before Time Skip he was afraid of unknown and saw himself as a burden due to his physical weakness
Further thoughts are written in “More thoughts about Luffy vs. Usopp-post” but his pride was one of the reason why things escalated with Luffy so badly back then but also the constant fear of not being enough fed all these decisions and he in burst of emotions decided the crew will be better without him.
Another reason for Luffy vs Usopp fight was his dream.  When entering the Grand Line Usopp told that his dream is to become a  brave sea warrior since he idolizes his father Yasopp a lot. However,  after his real journey on the seas begins so begins his inner crises  because what stands on his way are the limits.  So, before the Time Skip  he wanted to be something he wasn’t.
Usopp knows that brave  warriors are incredibly strong and fearless (like Dorry and Brogy, the  giants from Little Garden who greatly inspire him) and back then he was well aware of the reality (that he isn’t yet ready to be one) and that hurt him and fed his fears and self-esteem problems even more.
This theme has been going along with Usopp throughout the story. So, although Usopp had learnt slowly to push back his fear and stand up for his nakama in tight situations (for example in Alabasta he was beaten to pulp and still refused to give up and stayed with Nami in Skypiea although Enel was a threat), at the same time they were adventuring, the inner doubts kept stacking, until it exploded badly in Water 7 arc. It’s because he tends to compare himself to the others, especially the Monster Trio (who literally have the monstrous powers).
Tumblr media
The robbery of the Skypiea money and the suggestion of replacing Going Merry were definitely the final straws for Usopp and things escalated. Luffy apologized in middle of the bickering but Usopp wasn’t ready to give up on the argument and then challenged him to a 1 vs 1 (perhaps partly to test his strength but mostly because he really wanted to fight for Merry’s future).
Despite being already heavily wounded Usopp didn’t fled from the duel although he could’ve easily trolled them and escape. He still stood up for his policies. Deep down, he didn’t want to back off although he probably knew that Luffy would win eventually. The loss put his remains of self worth into zero point but then on the other hand, later he wanted to help to get Robin back (but was too ashamed to face his captain after the loss and the arguments) so he became an ally as Sogeking
This disguise made him braver but again he was put face to face with his fears and limits when he got almost killed by Jabra. Sanji comes to save him but instead of scolding, the cook motivated him to realize that they need Usopp to trust himself instead of hiding behind the alter ego he created and this is the moment when Usopp started to realize he has unique strengths too.
Tumblr media
So, it’s after Enies Lobby that opened Usopp’s eyes for good. After it he starts to see also his strengths (of course sometimes he still gets surprised by his skills but now he is even more skilled). He already proved to be very fast as a battler, very intelligent (good with gadgets, Nami’s weapon is great example of this) and a  very talented sniper. Then after Time Skip Usopp became a source of inspiration in Dressrosa and on top of that he has always been admired by Chopper (who believes his stories). These are some positive influences that has made good for Usopp’s self-esteem.
That’s not the only character growth though, Usopp has had in my opinion quite steady development throughout the series. First one is in his very own arc. There are more thoughts about it in  Emotional slaps in One Piece-post but shortly said Usopp tries to tell Kaya the truth about her butler but gets an emotional slap instead.  Lying has been a silly entertainment for him but now backfired him, after all it’s hard to be taken seriously if you tell stories all the time and suddenly burst out “the truth”.
Tumblr media
Well the slap may have been a “wake up call” so after Syrup Village he gathered his bravery to stand up against Kuro in order to protect his loved ones but then later Usopp’s next big step was in Arlong Park when fools Chuu with his ketchup trick and plans a story how he barely survived and then realizes (when comparing himself to others) that no, he is now a pirate and he needs to do something, literally since his nakamas fight in the frontline too. So he faces his fears, challenges Chuu and wins and this is the first fight he survived all alone! (a great achievement especially when coming to the fact that his equipments were at that time still “rookie level”)¨
Tumblr media
Perhaps his interest in building gadgets roots partly from his poor self-esteem. He wants to become stronger too and knows how to build things so why not using the skills for it (let’s not forget that he offered to help Nami to build her a better weapon).
Another of Usopp’s time was to shine in Thriller Bark when he turned out to be immune to Perona’s ghosts whereas even the Monster Trio (whom he idolizes and compares himself to) couldn’t.  Then when they were separated by Kuma and after Ace died, Usopp became very determined to find a way to help his captain and rejoin and did show lack of fear when meeting scary obstacles.
Tumblr media
After the Time Skip he has changed a lot in a good way. He is now stronger and more confident. He still likes to lie every once in a while but it’s not always to feed his self-esteem, more like force of habit and to entertain (and for comical reliefs). In other words the matured Usopp doesn’t lie just to feel good about himself (now he knows he is a important piece of the Strawhat crew and knows he has abilities to fight off even scary enemies) like he used to.
As a crewmember point of view, Usopp has always been a good handyman in the ship but not only that, he has also been good with mechanics and therefore has had potential even before Enies Lobby.  He can be the responsible adult but also there is this kid-hearted side of his where Usopp puts up with shenanigans.
Luffy and Usopp are definitely best buddies and  and sometimes they have these moments when they share one same braincell *laughs* They also share one common goal: to reunite with Red Hair Pirates crew.  Despite the good and close bond, Usopp took a long time before he started to see Luffy more as his actual captain than a close friend.
It is mostly because in some ways they are complete opposite: Luffy is physically strong and has an impulsive and carefree nature whereas Usopp tends to hesitate more and has more knowledge and agility instead of muscles. Like written earlier, Usopp had difficulties to keep up with Luffy’s spontaneous and carefree nature.
One of my favorite panels from the whole series is when Usopp takes off his mask and reveals himself to Luffy. He tries to act cool and denies he didn’t come for Luffy’s sake (although he partly did, because he wanted to help too with Robin’s retrieval and didn’t want his captain to give up, since they were so close to their goal). What probably made this whole scenario more powerful was that Usopp  knew how to get Luffy back to the fight and he didn’t hesitate with the motivating, even though they were separated and even offered himself to face Lucci to spare Luffy although he knew he wouldn’t stand a chance. That’s loyalty and bravery, just like when Usopp was beaten into pulp in Alabasta and still stood against Baroque Works once they mocked Luffy.
What probably makes their nakamaship even more unique is that their arguments lead to the breaking point but they later both understood what to do in order to fix it.
Tumblr media
Zoro and Usopp, when it comes down to this duo, Usopp admires Zoro’s strength and skills (and at the beginning probably is a bit scared of him) and usually seeks protection from the swordsman who seems sometimes to get a little annoyed by this. However, Zoro already showed his loyalty to Usopp in Arlong Park arc where he was ready to slice Nami after hearing she killed Usopp.
Zoro constantly keeps encouraging Usopp to face his fears and for example doesn’t let him off the hook when they decide by random who is joining Luffy’s shenanigans and also in general probably Usopp sees Zoro as the big brother and the voice of reason too.
Zoro is almost like a mentor to Usopp. Even though the swordsman isn’t that kind of guy who’d show outside the feelings but one can see that he was concerned when Usopp left. Obviously he also wanted the sniper to rejoin but first he demanded a proper apology from the Usopp because of disrespecting their captain (so Usopp could undersrand the consequences of their duel). It sounded ridiculous for some of their crewmates first and even Luffy was ready to welcome Usopp back without bigger fuss but it was very important moment for Usopp to realize this is now the real deal and made him set his pride aside.
Interesting detail between these two was that Oda made this “role swap” in Sabaody Archipelago. There Usopp (who usually seeks protection from Zoro) is now the one who protects the swordsman and even tried to reason him not to go on the battle (when Zoro was badly wounded), basically it could’ve been anyone who carries Zoro but Oda chose Usopp which is great in my opinion.
Tumblr media
Nami and Usopp get well along together although sometimes the sniper is afraid when the navigator gets angry  but aside of the comical reliefs, Nami is like a big sister to Usopp and they share lot in common: both lost their moms, both are easily afraid of the unknown and both use gadgets in combat.  On the other hand they  both have been great peer support to each other and determined to quit being so dependent on other crewmates and become stronger.
It is clear that Nami greatly respects Usopp’s skills with mechanics otherwise she wouldn’t have trusted him to build her a weapon so she could battle for Vivi’s sake in Alabasta.  They are often showed as together they are preventing Luffy from doing stupid things by beating him up but on the other hand they are also an efficient duo ending up into various problems in the field (like fighting Enel or when they ended up to explore Thriller Bark with Chopper, “the coward trio” and the latest, when they fought together in Wano against that headbutt-character).
More importantly, both are very human in their nature (for example when Ace died both were very concerned about how Luffy will cope with an emotional trauma) and for example understand how hard it is to keep up with the rest of the crew.  Both of them also show openly emotions in good and bad.
Usopp also is aware of Nami’s past (since he and Sanji were the only ones who listened to Nojiko’s story) so for example he got upset to Brook in Mermaid Island arc where Brook dropped unknowingly an insensitive joke about Arlong
So, they do share a special bond and therefore if someone then it’s Nami who understands Usopp’s struggles especially when it comes down to keeping up with the other stronger crewmates and that’s probably why she felt so emotional because of Luffy vs Usopp events (she could definitely feel his pain when he felt the guilt of not being able to protect the money that got robbed by Franky Family but there she proved that money isn’t her priority number 1 and showed much more concern in Usopp’s wellbeing).
Tumblr media
Sanji and Usopp, when they first met they ended up arguing (because Usopp didn’t think Sanji treated them equally) but things change in time and they too start to see each others’ good sides.
Oda makes an interesting way to portray their nakamaship: Usually Sanji acts like he cares only a little for Usopp, but then on the other hand the cook has sacrificed himself in Skypiea for the sniper’s and Nami’s sake and back in Enies Lobby Sanji saved Usopp from Jabra. Sanji was even willing to stand up for his captain and kicked Luffy and told him not to say anything reckless.
Maybe is another running gag it’s seen often that the cook will fearlessly rush into battle while dragging a terrified Usopp with him.  Eventually, in Enies Lobby Sanji was the one to ultimately inspire Usopp to see the value inside himself saying that while he (Sanji) was physically stronger and could do what Usopp could not do, Usopp possessed skill to save Robin and could do what he "couldn't do".
Re-reading Water 7 and Enies Lobby after WCI arc made me understand that Sanji and Usopp have actually much more in common that we thought: both had very isolated childhood without parents, both have had difficulties to keep up with others’ pace (Sanji in past, Usopp in the present).
Who knows maybe seeing Usopp fighting with his insecurities and especially using in the mask reminded Sanji of his own “iron mask” and the pain behind wearing it. Perhaps this was the reason Oda first made Sanji to convince the others to not to reveal Sogeking’s real identiity (although probably most of them knew who he was) and later choose presicely Sanji to be the one with the speech in Enies Lobby.
Interesting detail in this setting was that this became a parallel to Arlong Park where Luffy told that he can’t do all things, and now there is Sanji who openly admitted he wasn’t able to win Kalifa (and got bailed out by Nami), only for her and Usopp to be bailed out by Sanji in turn when the wolf man was way too strong for them. It’s just still amazing the way Sanji puts all his trust in Usopp to help them free Robin by telling the sniper: strength comes in many different forms and that even the strongest crewmembers are depending on one another to survive.
Tumblr media
Chopper and Usopp also have their special bond and they too adore each other’s skills. Chopper keeps buying Usopp’s tales but also sees him as his hero.  Both of them are openly showing their emotions and are human in that side.
Because Chopper idolizes Usopp, it was hard to him to get rejected by the sniper when Usopp left the crew and Chopper later caught up and tried to talk him back there without good results.  After the Luffy vs Usopp fight Chopper had really hard time because he was forced to choose between his job and friends (when Sanji told him not show pity on a fallen man but later Chopper decided to go with his heart leave Usopp some first aid kit so he eventually chose friendship kindness and what  he thought was right at that moment.
Sogeking was basically the embodiment of Usopp’s tales and probably he didn’t realize who was behind the mask. Chopper loved Usopp’s alter-ego too though.
Usopp and Chopper are easily terrified (along with Nami) but even though they are usually scared, the sniper and the doctor make a great fighting team. A great example was that They defeated   Miss Merry Christmas  and Mr. 4 in Alabasta.
Usopp and Chopper form the “Coward Trio” with Nami and although it’s partly a running gag, there again is some things that combine them and it’s their human nature and (outside chopper) their pretty human strength.
Tumblr media
Usopp and Robin needed a little time for their nakamaship to develope. Probably because of Alabasta he was a bit afraid of her and her devil fruit powers (especially when she joked about her speciality to be assasinations). So Enies Lobby arc did also good for their nakamaship.
Usopp was always willing to help Robin in Water 7 but since the circumstances were a bit difficult he had to do it in a disguise and didn’t even hesitate although he was facing Blueno who is powerful.  By that time Robin wasn’t aware of the crew being split up but despite that Usopp still told her to “have faith in Luffy”.
Just like written earlier, I think it was crucial for Usopp’s character development that Oda made him to be the final piece to the puzzle to help Robin escape from Spandam.  This strengthened their bond for good and it’s not the only time, also in Dressrosa Usopp saved her from being a toy.
What I like the most in their nakamaship is that although Robin loves to tease Usopp with her dark jokes, she also treats him with a big heart, like motherly. It’s headcanonish but I think for example that Robin helps Usopp and the rest of the “Dork Trio” collecting bugs and stuff.
Tumblr media
Usopp and Franky had a very  rocky start since the cyborg’s family stole Strawhat Pirates’ money and beat the sniper’s butt. Then Luffy, Zoro, Sanji and Chopper caused a ruckus on Franky House so Franky decided to return the favor by kidnapping Usopp (who at that point had left the group.
Suddenly they started to bond, mostly because they started to talk about ships and it was Franky who managed to make Usopp realize that Going Merry was way beyond repair despite the sniper tried to repair the ship. Despite they didn’t know each other for a long time, Franky was definitely impressed by Usopp’s skills since the cyborg later asked him to join the Franky family.
After Franky joined the Strawhats these two began to bond even more. They both love mechanic stuff (i.e both love to build stuff and Usopp is usually the tester when it comes down to Franky’s inventions) and they enjoy maintaining the Thousand Sunny together and Franky for sure has taught Usopp a lot about shipwrighting since he heard Usopp took mainly care about Going Merry.
It’s probably just another running gag but Franky compares his bounty towards Usopp’s a lot and frankly spoken he should have at least a bit better bounty in general compared to the fact that he has loads of knowledge (previously held Pluton blueprints) but that’s another story to tell later.
Tumblr media
Brook and Usopp didn’t have it easy too since Usopp was terrified of Brook when they first met. He was openly against the musician to join the crew but once he heard that Brook and Laboon had a connection and after events in Thriller Bark in general, Brook gain Usopp’s trust.
Although they get well along, a couple of times Usopp has become annoyed by Brook’s careless behavior: in Punk Hazard when he was eyeing Nami’s body (when Sanji was swapped into her)  and when Brook accidentally made that joke about Arlong in Mermaid Island.
Tumblr media
Jinbe and Usopp, the sniper was understandably hesistant about Jinbe at the first time since Jinbe is not only a former warlord but also was part of Arlong’s Pirate crew. Despite all that the sniper ended up supporting his captain's decision about Jinbe joining their crew and after they’ve known for more, Usopp has  admired Jinbe's attitude and strength and eventually encouraged him to join the crew while calling him Boss Jinbe.
Tumblr media
I think from after the Syrup Village and Enies Lobby, one of the most crucial arc for Usopp’s development has been Dressrosa because there he managed to unleash his Kenbunshoku Haki. It was literally a crucial shot because Luffy and Law were in edge of becoming toys.
Let’s not forget that chapters ago he shot one of the Merry's cannons and perfectly hit his target and the crew managed to escape from Alabasta because he landed a shot on a marine ship which made it crash into another giving them an escape route.  So as said earlier, Usopp has always been very skillful with gadgets and incredible speed. At the first glance slingshot as a weapon doesn’t sound powerful but now to think about it: to land a shot perfectly you needs to be able to lock the position of your target, calculate the exact angle and force and usually you are also put into pressure.  So, Usopp is one of the best examples of underestimated power and indeed deserved all the praise in Dressrosa.
Tumblr media
His character history still has room for questions that could have answers such as what disease did Usopp’s mom have? (like could it be cured in future if Chopper’s dream about being able to cure all diseases became true?) or how it will be when Usopp meets his Yasopp for the very first time after a long break? It seems like his dad left when he was very young so probably he mostly knows him based on what his mother Banchina told about him.
Aside from sharpshooting, lying skills and being good at engineering (especially with handheld weapons) Usopp has other talents too such as being a skilled artist and according to sbs he has also is good with hairdressing.  He is also good with gardening because he learnt in that island to cultivate pop greens.
I think one of the funniest running gag is that Usopp is a scaredy cat but one thing he is not afraid is bugs especially spiders. When Nami and Sanji screamed their lungs out because of the tarantellas (while they were looking for South Bird) Usopp casually took that 8 legged thingy to his hands. Hard to say whether his skills in arachnology has come in handy in general but I do like the headcanon that him and Luffy (and Chopper) love to collect bugs together and play with them when they have some spare time.
Tumblr media
All in all, if one should sum up this huge post (that again got carried away *laughs*) it’s that Usopp has made a long journey to the point where he is now standing. He started as a hesistant youngster and has grown now to a strong and (almost) fearless pirate and one day he’ll definitely become the brave warrior of the seas (although he already is one).

If I completely lost my god damn mind and sense and shame, this is what I'd do to these characters, should I meet them in person.
Hugs and kisses for all despite refusing to touch people irl
Marco
Look, I don't need to explain myself. I just wanna ruffle his hair. It looks soft but also like it might feel coarse. I need to know so God damn badly. Also, I wanna know what Phoenix fire feels like. Supposedly it doesn't burn so I'd finally know what actual fire feels like without burning alive.
Just... Hug that goofy swan like neck. Is his whole body flame except his face and feet or is there a main body? Could I lift him as a bird? He'd probably feel really naked if the fire suddenly went out. Plucked bald man.
I want answers damnit. Also to hug a mythical creature but I'm a nerd so no surprise there. Maybe kiss his bird face for the trouble. Just a peck between the eyes with affection.
Ace
I wanna squish his face but I feel like it'd be really greasy and gross 80% of the time. Either from food, fire residue, or just general lack of hygiene. So I'd probably wipe it first and see how quickly he sets something on fire in mortification. If he managed to control himself I'll make sure he fails anyway by kissing his cheek.
Mwah~
I like to imagine that, freshly cleaned, Ace feels really pleasantly warm. Calloused and rough skin, particularly his hands and knuckles, but a vibrant resilience. Maybe a tad dry. Give him a spa day and he glows for weeks.
Lemme hug the sad baby with Issues™, it won't fix him but it wouldn't hurt to just hug the damn man more often.
Thatch
If you've been here for a bit then you know I have an irrational soft spot for this goober. So I wanna know what his hair feels like. Is it hard as a rock or does OP have crazy soft hair gel?!? Does he always have it up in a pompadour or are there rest/lazy days where it's just pulled back? I wanna see it. For totally normal, not overly invested reasons.
I bet the crown of his hair always has a bump from the shape of his pompadour, even when he doesn't do anything. It'd probably look like that soft, curling, beach blow out where it sorta makes an 's' shape around the face on both sides? I wanna play with it and I'll not sorry about that.
Also still absolutely kissing his cheek but only when he's least expecting it and I'm leaving so he has as little time as possible to say anything. Go for a friendly hug (which he'd definitely offer cause everything about him screams 'hugger', and a pretty firm hugger at that) and just
Mwah!
Leave him shocked and frozen as I run away 😘
Luffy
I wanna hug him. He's clearly a fan of hugging and won't make it weird. Even though it'd definitely be tight (something I wouldn't risk with most guys since they get weird about tits touching them, I can't exactly tuck them behind my back 😒). And he'd laugh if I kissed his cheek despite also having the same issue Ace does about being kinda gross. In fact, he'd just laugh if I cleaned off his face with that goofy ass smile.
Might not refrain from seeing if the apples of his cheeks squish like mochi with his devil fruit. Idk. Seems like fun and he'd probably let me. Massages must be wild for Luffy... Think he'd melt into a more literal puddle if you kneaded out his whole ass back? I doubt he's got a lot of tension but that shit feels nice even when you're not tense as hell.
Robin
She looks like she'd give a really good, firm hug. The kind that makes you feel soft and warm.
Also she'd probably kiss my cheek cause she's absolutely a shit and laugh about it. I'll only mostly be a good sport about the teasing.
But mostly I'm curious to know if her hands are dry--common book reader problem--and if she has callouses. She looks like she'd be soft with good skin but she's pretty hands on so idk.

💿 + Star?? -🍂
Ahhhh, thank you so much for this, Alvita!! (Again, tagging the One Piece gals @starcrossedjedis and @auxiliarydetective!! <3)
"Monster" by Imagine Dragons.
I feel like just the title is kind of self-explanatory - from the moment she ate a Devil Fruit and started being able to make things crumble with a touch, Star has seen herself as little more than a monster. And as her power gets stronger and stronger, this feeling only increases, and it's still there by the time she meets the other Straw Hats in Shells Town - but thankfully, over time, they help her to overcome this and be kinder to herself.
"Dear Reader" by Taylor Swift.
These lyrics are definitely the kind of advice Star would give to someone else - especially the ones about running from your past and pain, and the singer not really being anyone to take advice from, despite the fact that they're still giving it.
"brutal" by Olivia Rodrigo.
Now this, this is a Star song. She may be older than Luffy, but she's still so young in comparison to the things she's been through and the way she's come to view the world, and as we all know, this is pretty much the perfect anthem for characters who are having a hard time with life and seeing the world through a cynical lens.
"Someone To You" by BANNERS.
Star and Zoro pining era anthem! Seriously, these two would do almost anything to just have the other look at them they way they look at them when they're not noticing, all the while not realizing that the other person feels the exact same way (and just generally being kind of idiots about the whole thing).
"River" by Bishop Briggs.
One hundred percent, this is the song that plays over any solo fight scenes that Star has. The vocals and the heavy beat create the perfect atmosphere for this girl to kick ass.
Tumblr media
send me a 💿+ an oc and i’ll list five songs that remind me of them!!

Can anyone get behind a whole concept of a game like stardew where you have the option to customize your spouse? Like if you wanna start the game married and it gives you the opportunity to make your favorite ships and play with them instead of npcs?
From appearance to likes, dislikes and personality just imagine how great it’d be. Maybe even their skills level up like yours do over time and you can make them as similar to character as possible.
Where would they spend most of their time? What would they be best at? What skills would they naturally have an advantage and interest in? Would you naturally make more money if you were or were married to a specific type of person?
I NEED A GAME LIKE THIS TO EXIST
//Yes I am aware of the sims but I’m talking about an actual cozy farming experience not a paywall just to own a farm or a good haircut//
What if I wanna marry Luffy?
Tumblr media
An easier time making friends with the locals because of your overly social husband
Some days he’s fishing, some days he’s fighting monsters and some days he’s sleeping
He probably has one villager that would not enjoy his company whatsoever but can’t deny that he’s a good person
Affection with him is easy to keep and maintain
Downside is he’s a glutton so you’re not making much money because he eats EVERYTHING, you need a locked chest for anything you don’t want your ravenous husband to eat but it’s a level five unlock and up to that point it’s an endless struggle to make money.
What if I wanna marry Zoro?
Tumblr media
Good luck finding your husband. Unlike most non player spouses his schedule is completely randomized at the start of the day so you actually have to look for him any time you want do anything or give him anything.
The easiest time to find him is when he’s asleep or if you build a training area in your home or somewhere on your farm.
Your relationship with him has no affect on your relationship with the other npcs. Half of the town likes him but the other half either hates him or doesn’t even know your married because they never see him.
He’s easy to please. As long as you get to the point in the game where you can make alcohol and make his favorite foods he’s happy as a clam.
Will help with heavier jobs around your farm so you probably wake up to extra wood and stones in your chests occasionally, you’d also find large amounts of monster parts and hides because he definitely went to the mines while you were sleeping.
What if I wanna marry Sanji?
Tumblr media
Always easy to find, he’s either fishing, helping with light farm work or cooking /if you have the kitchen/. Occasionally can be found in town chatting it up with some lady npcs.
Helps mostly with the light work on the farm, definitely harvests crops for you before you even wake up and takes care of animal goods so you don’t have to. You can give him a list in the kitchen of any foods that need to be made and he will happily do that over his usual schedule.
Not hard to keep happy, spends more time actively trying to keep YOU happy. Will leave you little presents.
Will spend small amounts of money at the market on cooking essentials if you don’t have what he needs to make it himself at home. But if you do he won’t spend any at all.
Being married to him makes your life just a little bit easier.
What if I wanna Marry Ussop?
Tumblr media
Not hard to find. If you have a workshop he will be there half of the time and fishing the other half.
Will make crafting materials for you and sometimes even gifts. As long as you have a place for them to be stored he will always make what you need.
Like Sanji this can also be automated to things you prefer, if you have a workshop there you can make a list of things you want and he will gladly make them for you.
The same is also said for money. He will occasionally spend money on materials he’d need to make you what you asked for if he doesn’t have everything at home.
The locals don’t hate him but they aren’t best friends. If your husband is bored he will likely be found in the town screaming his head off about pirates or something and making the townspeople go mad. Occasionally there’s a cutscene of him being chased back home and hiding behind you.
Your play experience with ussop as a husband is pretty normal difficulty. Nothing he will do will hinder your progress by much.
What if I wanna marry Nami?
Tumblr media
Want a wife who will never help with the heavy work but will help you make LOTS of money? Nami
Will spend her time in a spare room at the house /I’d imagine your spouses would be able to customize said spare room to whatever it is they’d like unless you already built their preferred room, similar to spouse rooms in stardew/. You aren’t allowed in that room unless invited but you know occasionally she goes to town.
Usually when she goes to town she brings home money. Often times though she gives you jobs that aren’t posted on any boards so the quests you get from her are exclusive to if you’re married to her or not. You do not get an option. You do the job or she won’t be happy.
The townsfolk often times don’t like her because whenever she visits town their pockets are a lot lighter by the time she leaves.
Her happiness is rocky to maintain. Gifts can be difficult for her to enjoy unless they’re more on the expensive side. But sometimes she does just enjoy fruit you grow on the farm.
Speaking of occasionally you’ll find her in the orchards reading. Especially when it’s the season they’re in harvest. She will help harvest from the orchards and other crops when it’s time to.
Although the money is easy flowing with Nami, you get a limit on how much you spend whenever you go into town. Which makes progress really hard.
What if I wanna marry Robin?
Tumblr media
For some unknown reason the people in town do not like your wife. So she doesn’t go into town much. But this makes her easier to find.
Robin is often times more likely found at home reading in various places on the farm, unless it’s the cold season then she will be in the house. Though occasionally she’ll be exploring looking for artifacts and anything she can document.
Your knowledge and progression with leveling up goes up when you’re married to Robin. She will gladly help you research specific things to increase your own quality in crafting and maybe even help you understand local customs.
She isn’t hard to please. Giving her books and artifacts you found yourself are all that she needs.
She will help with the farm animals by feeding them and petting them to keep them happy, but she will let the milking and harvesting to you.
Your gameplay experience with Robin as a spouse is easy if you work extra hard to stay friendly with the locals.
What if I wanna marry Franky?
Tumblr media
This husband will be the EASIEST to find. He will likely be in the workshop or working on something somewhere on the farm.
He’s always tinkering. He will repair things before you even know they were broken to begin with.
You won’t get help with the crops or farm animals because if he has the materials it’s FULLY AUTOMATED. He will have your farm working for itself earlier then you could ever on your own.
That being said, he does spend a lot of your farms income to get this done. But if you ask him to pause he will. He’ll just go back to doing small work projects.
Like Ussop he will also make craftable items for you but when he does they’re of better quality and will sell for more. He can also make and repair anything you bring to him.
He’s a fairly normal spouse to keep pleased, give him cola or just asking him for his help is enough to keep him happy.
The townsfolk don’t hate him but the children in town ADORE him. So often times when he’s working on the farm you can occasionally see him interacting with the local children who came to visit.
Your gameplay experience with Franky as a husband is easier if you ignore the amount of money he spends. But if you work a little more he can make that money back for you.
What if I wanna marry Brook?
Tumblr media
He’s a very social husband so he will be in town a lot of the time. But often times he’s also at home somewhere writing music.
Being married to Brook means the games music is completely different then it usually is and often changes.
The people in town love him almost as much as you do. He’s a good neighbor and husband.
He actually spends a good bit of time following you instead of the other way around. He will stop if you ask but he enjoys serenading you while you do every day tasks. He wants to be helpful in his own way.
Your gameplay experience with brook as a husband is as normal as it gets, he doesn’t necessarily change your progress with special level ups or downsides, but he’s excellent company and makes your game more relaxing then normal.
What if I wanna marry Jinbei?
Tumblr media
He is an easy husband to find. He’s always somewhere serene so he can meditate and train.
He’s cautious of the townspeople. They don’t hate him and actually have a large amount of respect for him. But he doesn’t have much reason to go into town.
I see jinbei as the husband who will do anything if you ask it of him, he’s as efficient as you are at anything so it’s just like having two playable characters working together.
That being said if he accompanies you to a dangerous area this is where he is extremely helpful. If you’re surrounded he isn’t far from saving you, he will do anything to make sure you’re alright and protect you from harm. I can see you being more likely to get extra loot when exploring with him.
You never seem to have a difficult relationship with locals when married to jinbei. If you have a hard relationship with someone he will help you by mitigating misunderstandings and offer assistance.
Your gameplay with him is normal, but you’ll need extra storage for loot.
What about Chopper?
Tumblr media
No marrying chopper, BUT adopting chopper /if you want to/ can have it’s own benefits.
He will be a great help on your farm, helping with anything he’s capable of.
You get medicine placed in your chests occasionally and he will heal you if you’re on an excursion.
Will follow your spouse if not you so you get some cute interactions to see
The locals love your little boy so the local children will be over a lot to play with him
Chopper is allowed to live as a child
I can come up with more ideas like this if anyone has a request just sent me an ask and I’ll come up with some stuff
