he’s decided he don’t like the vibe of this place – not after exploring with charlene as he had. his blackmail letter is burning a hole in his pocket, and the greeting, earlier, had made him uneasy in a way he couldn’t put to words... but far be it from hugo to turn down a free couple’a nights in a bed that don’t fold up into the wall. especially considering his murphy bed has been stuck all week, so he’s been reduced to the lumpy loveseat back home.

creepy aesthetic aside, though, it’s whatever ( he’s definitely broken into worse ). might as well make himself at home as he drops his stuff on the bed — emptying pockets of his worn-leather wallet, lighter, lockpicks, and the crumpled, folded letter. he’s busy trying to stretch out a kink in his back when a knock resounds at his door — a brief consideration given for yelling out that no one’s home… but then he figures that might defeat the purpose.

FIRST VICTIM: JAMES CHOI

There was no way he had fucked up on DAY ONE. Day fucking one. He knew the minute he noticed his stuff had been fucked around with that @dolceclavier had been in his room. If he weren’t the one to have compiled the DOSSIER that James had lifted, it might not have even registered that he was even a suspect. FUCK. Maybe there was a part of himself to blame for flashing his wealth around the others. Nah.  

Telling Cindy would only worry her, so he takes matters into his own hands. Ah, shit. He takes a detour to the kitchen to pick up a pair of latex gloves and a big knife ( lucky him, this was a sanitary enough establishment to carry gloves ). Too big. He chooses a slightly smaller knife. 

Were there crime Gods? Because he had been blessed that day by one. It didn’t take long before he catches James heading into the change rooms by the pool. He waits a good ten minutes before even trying the handle. By then, he could hear James in the other room taking a pre-dip shower. What was the game plan now? Wait in the changeroom? Go back and hover in the hall? No, he was going to go all in. The shower stops running and that was his cue to listen for the entrance to the pool to open. The second it does, he tails James and slips out before it could close. 

3 ... 2 .... 1....

James stands by the edge of the pool and he’s ready. Ready like a target with a circle on his back ... except his back wasn’t what Kelly was aiming for.  Axillary artery. Left side. Between the shoulder and bicep and chest. Soft spot, especially if the patient victim wasn’t wearing thick clothing. He wasn’t. Obviously. Massive blood loss. Disgusting amount of blood in the pool surrounding the patient  victim. Murder weapon still lodged in the body cavity.

Acheron: One extremely dangerous theme park. It's cheap and there are few queues but be aware that sometimes the god of orcs will show up and use whatever ride you're on as a bludgeoning weapon. Overall nice atmosphere, 4 stars.
