Alastor getting kidnapped eventually becomes a running joke in the hotel. First time it happened, there was plenty of panic. Even Lucifer, who didn't care much at all for the Overlord at that point in time, couldn't help but worry about whatever torture Alastor's captors must be subjecting him to. Charlie was so broken over Sir Pentious's loss, she can't go through that again. Only Husk is unconcerned, rolling his eyes at everyone's antics.
Finally they're able to track down the kidnapper and make a plan to rescue him. Charlie's got her shield, Vaggie her angelic spear, Niffty's cackling and clutching her dagger. Angel's packing heat, Lucifer's ready to start incinerating things. And Husk, well, he's there. Rolling his eyes still.
They make it as far as the front door when a mass of black tentacles shoots out, smacking Lucifer to the ground. It's more shock than anything that keeps Lucifer from breaking free, and out strides Alastor, dripping with blood and appearing equally surprised to see Lucifer and everyone else. He cheerily laughs off everyone's concerns and suggests they all head back to the hotel for a well-deserved meal after a frankly exhausting day.
It's on the way back that Husk explains; Alastor gets kidnapped all the damn time. He lets it happen. It's like a game to him. If he were in genuine trouble he could have summoned Husk and Niffty at any time but he never does because he's more than capable of dealing with just about anyone who's stupid enough even to try taking him against his will. Angel Dust asks why Niffty looked so worried then and Husk just shrugs and says she always is, no matter how many times Alastor proves he doesn't need it.
There's still some worrying the next few times Alastor is kidnapped, and although she doesn't rally the whole crew for a rescue, Charlie still tracks down Alastor's kidnappers each time, just in case. But over time it becomes an ongoing joke, and Angel Dust suggests that it's probably also a form of stress relief for Alastor, since it affords him an opportunity to go all out with his powers against opponents who instigate fights away from the hotel. Added bonus: Alastor nearly always cooks when he comes back.
NORMAL MEAT! He's just in a good mood after slaughtering and so feels up to cooking for everyone!
Bonus RadioApple: No matter how many times he proves he doesn't need a rescue, however, Lucifer always goes, even long after Charlie's stopped. Because unlike the others, he's aware of the fact that Alastor's injured - Alastor refused to let Lucifer heal the wound, and short of holding Alastor down and forcing his healing on him, there's nothing Lucifer can do to change his mind - and he knows Alastor's putting on a strong front for the others. When Alastor asks why Lucifer even bothers at this point when Alastor's already shown he's perfectly capable of taking care of himself, Lucifer just shrugs and says that he doesn't want the one time he doesn't show up to turn out to be the one time he ends up being needed. He's gotten used to Alastor's presence in the hotel at this point. He'd be... bothered if Alastor didn't come back.
Alastor's not quite sure what to say to this, other than he's grown 'used to' Lucifer's presence as well.

Its 1am and I should sleep but that's not happening so I'm thinking about this thing I've been turning over in my head.
Anyway here's how your softness as a fat partner to the 141 + whoever comes to mind with as a bonus is a grounding force
The mission was supposed to be short and easy. Drop in the bucket compared to some of the others, but when does it ever go like the brief? They're a week over, now, and while no news was good news you'd kill for a text. An emoji would be fine, you'd settle for a garbled keyboard smash as proof of life.
Still, civilian life doesn't stop while your partner is out risking their lives so the populace doesn't see just how close some calls get to total destabilization. You had to work and that meant in the evening you had to unwind before you lost your shit. So here you were, sat on the couch and distracting yourself and decompressing.
The click of the key in the door perked you right up, you paused whatever you were doing to turn and watch the door open, "welcome home! How did-oh," your happiness was paused, replaced by concern by the haunted look in the eyes you love so much. This was a rough one, so you went back to past experience, "do you need space, a pillow, or a weighted blanket?"
Price would stay quiet as he put down his duffel and take off his boots. You were already thinking through contingency plans to get him out of his head if this didn't work, but he sits himself on the couch next to you instead of in the armchair. He about collapses into the plush material more than sits down, but the raised arm is an invitation and you're not one to ignore it. You snuggle in, head on his chest and your weight a comfortable softness where he's hard muscle and strength holding you close. The both of you sit there for some time, you listen as his heart rate mellows as his thumb traces idle patterns into your side. You know eventually you'll both wind up out back sitting in the rocking chairs you gave him shit about getting, but there's nothing like it. You'd take sitting and rocking side by side out there while he has a smoke any day of the week, it meant you had each other and what else do you really need?
Ghost would stand in the doorway for a beat longer than he usually would, and you weren't sure if he'd stay or not. Hell, wouldn't be the first time he arrived on your doorstep just to go back to base without crossing your threshold. It's a pleasant surprise when he walks in, though, and his duffel falls with a thump. Sometimes he needs to put himself away and sometimes he needs your presence. This time it's definitely the latter as he just crosses the room, boots and all, just... climbs onto the couch to lay on it, pinning you where you sit within his grasp and his face pressed to your stomach. You feel your face soften as you run a hand along his back, a soothing presence as he holds you close. You feel him squeeze softly at your sides, fat moving just so in his grip to confirm he's in the present, he's safe, and if you were ambitious you might even say he's home. At some point you'll prod him enough to get him to bed, you were well aware he was too big to sustainably sleep on the couch without hurting his neck or back. Tomorrow you'd heckle him for the boots on the furniture but for now you were glad he was back in your arms.
Gaz offers you a smile when he opens the door, but you know that fake 'trying to reassure you' smile when you see it. He goes through the same home routine but it's more muscle memory than anything- duffel in its spot, boots off and away, hat and keys on the little table- but you don't need to call to him for him to come to you. No, he's dragging himself to you, exhaustion written in his features but you know he won't let himself go to bed without at least checking in. You smile and pat your lap, the easy compromise that has him giving you a soft but sincere smile. He settles onto the couch, laying on his back with his head in your lap as he fights to keep his eyes open. You know he's likely jetlagged to hell, so you start talking- about what he's missed since he was gone, which shows you two need to catch up on, only the hottest neighborhood bird feeder gossip- and you watch as the tension eases from his shoulders. He doesn't need to be on high alert in a combat zone- he's home, he can relax safe and sound.
Soap wastes no time- duffel dropped, door kicked shut, boots pulled off and dropped as he crosses the room to you. You yelp as he scoops you off the couch enough to flop on his back and hold you to his front, burying his face in your neck as he let's his hands roam. You huff, amused more than annoyed at him man-handling you. Well, among other feelings, but those come later, for now you hum and wrap your arms around his shoulders where you can, hugging him close. Sometimes he needed the extra grounding force, too much energy buzzing below his skin and your rocksteady presence a balm. You're happy to do it, you love this man through thick and thin and there were worse things than mandatory cuddles.
Bonus:
+ Kate gives you a weary smile before she stops through the kitchen. You smile as she comes back with a drink for both of you, though you know yours will be touched significantly less as you rest your head in her lap and hear her out as she talks about what she can. She runs her free hand down your shoulder, tracing patterns down the side as she does.
+ Nikolai you know is a 50/50, either he needs to keep his hands busy doing something else or he'll take you up on your offer. The odds seem to be in your favor, though, as he sits with you. You aren't exactly suprised when he pulls you into his lap, or when he takes a few minutes to just sit and listen to your heartbeat and steady breathing. He'll be back and bantering before you know it but for now he holds you tight, waves of soft weight pulling him back to a safe harbor.
Aaaaand now it's 2:30 time is an illusion (oops)

I see Dreamer is still alive and kicking, but I'm sure you all tried your best, so as promised, two tips to IS3
1.) Go physical - The higher you go, the worse Arts damage gets. How difficulty works in IS3 is that there are now 15 difficulty levels, with each one tacking on a new challenge (like Slay the Spire). You only need to go up to Difficulty 8 to get full run XP bonuses, so 9-15 are purely to show off how masochistic you are.
Anyway, N15 gives enemies so much RES that Arts damage is nearly unusable, with 90 RES on many difficult enemies such as Pompeii. If you want to actually make a dent, go for a physical team with very high damage per hit (as DEF can also get very high).
If you don't plan on going for maximum difficulty (there's no point other than the pain), your Casters will be just fine in the lower difficulty levels.
2) Get a sniper with crowd control - There's a reason why Kroos the Keen Glint is considered incredibly good value for hope in IS3 (and one of the strongest snipers overall in the mode), apart from her hope efficiency, 100k total damage on skill, and crit, she also has a ministun.
IS3 features a new flying Seaborn enemy that fires projectiles with high damage and becomes unbelievably tanky at N15, with boss level HP. Their weakness? They can be sent crashing down to the ground if slept, frozen, or stunned, where they're vulnerable. Kroos' rapidfire attacks, long range, anti-air Marksman trait, and crit dealing a 0.2 second stun makes her the perfect counter to these enemies, though other snipers with CC will find use as well.
And now a bonus third tip so you'll all try harder next time
3.) Prioritize xp gain - IS3 features a much more in-depth Upgrade Tree than IS2. Rather than simply give +1% stat gains, there are now upgrades that do everything from improving starting squads, adding new nodes to IS, starting with extra lives, etc.

Anyway, don't get tempted to go for all the stat upgrades right away to boost your operators. Be smart and go down the branch that maximizes exp gain, making you level up faster in a run and getting more hope. More hope = more choices when getting operators, more choices of operators = better chances of surviving a run, longer runs = bigger rewards.

Jack watched Davey from the doorway as the taller boy turned the next page of his book, humming softly to himself and methodically tapping the cover of the book, almost perfectly in time with the rain pummeling the ground outside.
It was darker than it should have been, thanks to the storm, but Jack didn’t mind one bit. Davey’s face looked warm and soft in the candlelight, a far cry from the expression the world usually knew, the one framed by lines of worry and tired eyes.
He seemed so peaceful that Jack felt as if he was watching a moment more private than it was, his friend’s outer shell stripped away and leaving him vulnerable.
Davey glanced up, smiling when he saw Jack in the doorway, and a blush spread across the other newsie’s face as he crossed his arms in front of his chest, feeling quite small.
“Hey, Jackie,” Davey greeted him, scooting over and patting the ground beside him, not noticing Jack’s face getting warmer as he sat down. He nodded at a small bead of water on Jack’s arm, left from where he didn’t dry it. “Feel better?”
“Hm? Oh, yeah,” Jack replied, running a hand through his damp hair. “Thanks for lettin’ me stay, by the way.” He shot him a smile. “Means a lot.”
“Oh, it’s no trouble.” Davey yawned softly, and Jack felt a pang of longing shoot through him, one which he tried to ignore. There’s no way he feels the same, Jack, he scolded himself.
Gaining a tiny bit of courage, Jack threw a relaxed arm around Davey, nearly nodding off in the combined warmth of both the wool coat he’d borrowed and Davey’s form next to him.
He was exhausted. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d been this tired- maybe the strike? No matter how long it had been, Jack’s mind was in shambles.
He felt Davey shift, wrapping his arms around him, snuggling into his neck. Jack fought back the urge to kiss him right then and there, opting instead to reach over and tangle their hands together, chuckling softly as Davey glanced up at him with a lazy smile.
“You’re amazing. You know that, right?” Davey whispered, closing his eyes and leaning into Jack’s arms. “I can see why Kath likes you so much.”
“Really?” Jack asked, wondering if he’d heard him correctly. “What does that mean?”
Davey looked up at him, a peculiar look in his eyes- one that Jack had never seen before, one that told him all he needed to know. You know what it means.
Perhaps it was that look, or maybe the drunken tiredness they both felt, but Jack leaned forward and kissed him, pulling him closer. Davey’s lips were soft, just like he’d imagined, and he tasted like cinnamon and warmth. Davey smiled into the kiss, and Jack gave him a final peck before pulling back, still holding him tight.
“It’s late,” Davey muttered, laying his head on Jack’s shoulder and closing his eyes. Jack rubbed small circles into his back, his heart full to the brim with love.
“G’night, Dave,” he whispered. “Sleep well.”
From then until the sun rose, there was no sound save for the rain pattering lightly on the window, soothing the two boys to sleep in each other’s embrace.

I would like to start with mumscarian, classic, ya know?
Dicentra by rosemaryKnight is very good, the last chapter is just Scar getting ruined by Grian and Mumbo and it's filled with funny moments and heartfelt moments.
The Best Reward by Anonymous is also one where Scar gets, just, ruined by Grian and Mumbo and I'm pretty sure there's a sweet aftercare moment at the end.
Grounded by Anonymous is elf Scar being teased by Mumbo and Grian (Mumbo is a dom in this one, but like, hhhnghghgn he just... ruins Scar in all the best ways) and the aftercare scene is just so soft, and I think The Best Reward and this fic have similarities in the aftercare scene, bc I often mix them up.
it feels so good, oh, to be alone with (both of) you by Anonymous (theres a lot of anonymous fics in the bottom scar tag) is where Mumbo is the sub, but he does fuck Scar and both of them are just enjoying it. I swear Grian is also there, he's quite important in this fic. It does have mommy/daddy kink, so, be warned.

The Burning One, who seizes what his heart desires by orphancrow is a Convex smut fic, where Cub is the Pharaoh and Scar is his slave and Cub teases him and I just need to promote orphancrow's fics, but they also wrote (in the same series) a cubriande (cub/Ariana Griande) fic and I felt like Scar wasn't enough of a big feature to include it here, but go check out their work for some good convex fics.

Miasma Streams and Elements
Let's do it again. Editing and completing things said there.
Also thanks @crookedvoidbird for talking about the parasite.
So here's our default map:

In the past, a meteorite crashes into Mount Vellenge (and destroys the giant crystal that was there). The meteor parasite that came along settles there. It starts producing miasma that spread around the world, but also creates some underground rifts; we can imagine it does that by growing very long tentacles or roots. They are aiming for the main elemental sources scattered over the continent.
Even if it's a move from a living organism that aims to survive, the path that the new rifts take isn't purely from its will and is constrained by geology to some extent, so they happen where the earth's crust already shows some weakness or near tectonic plates boundaries.

So the rifts are created, miasma also goes into them and flows around the world. Most of the time this path is underground, but sometimes it goes higher and reaches ground level. This is where we get our miasma streams as shown in the game. They look like rifts too; what we see is a bridge above some kind of void and very strong winds all around.
The miasma that travels through those rifts gets imbued with elements on its way. Eventually it goes back to Mount Vellenge to bring the food —the elements— to the parasite. A secondary path is made after the main water source to allow the cycle to repeat and ensure permanent feeding.

A new rift is created by the parasite, circling Mount Vellenge, leading to a new miasma stream. On their usual cycle, the streams/elements don't merge together, they just swift and let the place to the next element. But if they're stuck together, like they end up doing around Mount Vellenge, the elements are forced to fuse and give birth to the unknown element. The parasite now has a solid barrier to prevent predators from coming too close (like humans who'd want to destroy it by any chance).

(Compared to the initial (black) rift that is located underground, the unknown element (bright yellow) travels on a higher level so they don't meet.)
But geology and randomness are still a thing. Located where three plates meet/diverge in the ocean, a new breach opens to the south, weakened by the miasma stream that runs nearby, unplanned by the parasite. Some miasma goes in there too and ends in a closed circle underground, the same way it does around Mount Vellenge. A new stream of unknown element is made. Some of it finds its way between smaller breaches until reaching Lynari island and rising to the surface there, in the desert. And as we see in game, there's still some enigma to solve there to find it, but that's not the topic.

Note 1: this is basically how I imagine the miasma stream to flow when it reaches the land just after the wind source, when it seems to pop up from the ocean.

Note 2: If I really wanted to stay true to the cycle from the game, the earth and fire sources should be swapped. I'll say screw that after all. I already diverge from canon for many things and it would just affect the gameplay/traveling options, which is not exactly my problem.

Note 3: If you wonder why I suggest there's a whole continent that isn't seen in game, here's why.
Note 4: I'll never pretend that everything makes sense geologically wise. Also I'm just doing my headcanons with my own logics and subjects affinities, but I'm sure there could be other nice explanations for miasma streams. Just gonna go with that for now. If needed, it has time to evolve before I get to write more post-game stuff :')
As a last bonus, there could be other elemental sources on the continent, it's just not my point of focus. But something like this could also be true and reinforce the cycle (more sources to the north of the continent are possible):

I had an idea for a silly goofy au where Damian, Jon, and reader are like the scooby gang and go around solving mysteries.
Reader is like a magic user, and they're job is to keep the evil entities away from everyday people, (Like Supernatural! But kid friendly🩷)
Damian has been stalking them as Robin and that's how the supersons get involved in the mystery gang.
It's just wholesome crime solving amongst the baby heros, and they have fun adventures (that sometimes end in sleepovers).
It think it would be funny too if paranormal assistance was needed and Dickie walks in on the three of them performing a seance in the theater room-
"What the hell is happening right now?"
"Magic."
"..."
"Why."
"Because, Richard. It is important for our investigation."
"Okay." *Turns to leave*
"No, no, no. You have to stay until I close the ritual so the spirit doesn't attatch to you. :D"
"WHAT-"
But he can't complain, because at least little wing is making friends...?
Bonus if Bruce has no idea where Damian is going almost every night. Like he just dissapears for a few hours then just returns wuth Jon and no explaination.
Clark and Lois know obvi because Jon is just so excited to tell his parents all about the latest mystery.

whatever the case may be, you all work around and through it all. you adapt to each other's needs. you're all there for each other, no matter what.
The bit with Dick and the seance. In the Manor, no less. I applaud you - it's too canon not to be.

Stakeouts that turn into sleepovers at the Manor. Very rarely down at the farm in Metropolis, but sometimes!! Big open cornfields, it's a hotpot for Prime Supernatural Activity. You make insufferable jokes (even tho they're like, true) and Damian scolds you for scaring Jon. Tt.
But you save his favorite cow Betsy from getting attacked by some random ghost demon and Jon nearly crushes your ribs in a hug.

You pop up at some Wayne gala inexplicably at first.
Damian spots you for the first time (y'know, before y'all all become friends hueheuhueuhue *chokes, coughs*), completely out in the open, and spews his drink.
He'd immediately stomp over to you, aghast, because what in all the names of the Lazarus Pit are you doing here?! He'd been stalking you for weeks from afar! He was a master of stealth!! How did you even manage--
I- what? No, he does not like your outfit! It's rather spiffy, you say? HE DOESN'T CARE! THAT'S THE LAST THING HE'S THINKING ABOUT RIGHT NOW?? How did you even GET IN??
He's steaming and flustered while also trying to not make a scene because the place is crawling with socialites and high society aristocrats whereas you're cool, calm, charming, blending in too well as you down your own drink. [It's icy apple juice.] and just, bamboozles him further.
'Excellent year,' you suddenly say rather seriously, peering down into your glass of icy apple juice with an impressed expression, effectively cutting off Damian, who was in the middle of a hushed, barely watered down tirade.
Y'all stare at each other for all of two nanoseconds and the events happen as follows:
you turn a bottle of iced apple cider to Damian (where did you even manage to nab one?), pointedly at the label to further explain your comment,
he slaps it out of your hand in a rush of overwhelming emotion and thereby catches the attention of everyone within y'all's general vicinity,
BOOM - you're both circled out and being stared down from all sides.
Damian wants to crawl in a hole and die, maybe.
You raise your hand and twiddle your fingers in a sweet wave and- you- that's when he sees it-
Sparkles. Real, genuine, sparkles. Come right out from your fingertips.
Damian is at a loss while you suddenly garner an audience!! An applauding audience!!! What the hell is going on-?
You disappear in a puff of smoke! Oh my!!
And in a grandiose puff of sparkles and thematic smoke (it's like regular smoke but cooler), you reappear with a flourish on the stage on the other side of the room! Thereby catching everyone's attention.
"Good eveninggggg, my fellow Gothamites! Wowza, I see some sexy faces here tonight! *twirls magician's hat and releases an entire army of butterflies* Enchanted to see you all! I'm (Name) and I'm your prime rib for the night! (cue pulling a whole ass pig, cute and with a bowtie, out from the inside of your coat) Or so to speak!"
Gasps and claps arise from the audience!
Damian is terse, a little terrified, and a little impressed. And he watches the entire time as you pull off a literal magic show! An interactive one, too!
Afterwards, you stand in front of an enchanted crowd and bow with a proper flourish; when you peek out over the rim of your hat, you make direct eye contact with Damian, a mischievous smile playing at your lips.
A proper introduction for you, your Highness? - echoes in his mind. Magic.
That's when he knows. He knows, he's in for a wild ride.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I'VE STARTED AND NOW I CANT GET ENOUGHHHHHH OMGGGGGGGG
(Also! Dick would totally be gushing over y'all all the time. His baby wing made friends! And such Good Ones too!! Awwwww! <33)

Astrological Gifts, Placements and Aspects.
Part 2 - Aspects and Placements that point to psychic gifts in the birth chart.
In the first part I talked about the the psychic gifts, this post will include placements & aspects, and there is quite a few of both! There really is so many placements and aspects that's why I said last time were all born with these gifts. Yes, some stronger than others, but that doesn't mean you can't strengthen yours. I still have a load of research that I'm going through for my book but figured this was a good place to start for you all.
I'll also be posting about ways to work on your gifts and how to protect yourself from negative energy and psychic attacks. ✨️ You gotta be ready for all of it though. With the good comes the bad, so learn how to protect yourself, you gotta be ready for it all! I'll jump right into this!
Aspects & Placements include:
Elements; each element is used in rituals whether it's religious, spiritual, or elemental magic therfore each element is associated with psychic abilities. We all have the elements within us, some more than others but they're there, you just need to learn how to access them!
Earth signs- associated with empathy & mediumship. Earth energy serves as an anchor. Earth energy also has a connection to mother nature. Think about how you're feeling the next time a big thunderstorm comes through.
Fire signs- healing effect on people. Heavy Fire allows us to manifest it also helps us concentrate and open ourselves up. Think about the use of a flame ...
Water signs- intuitive, empathetic and healing. All water signs are associated with some form of psychic abilities. Water is a powerful conduit to the spiritual realm.
Air signs- mediums and spiritual teachers. Heavy air energy can allow you to feel the change in energy. Air signs can be very intuitive.
Lilith 4, 8, 12h &/or in Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces- a mystic placement, highly intuitive with enhanced sensitivity, receptive to the energies around you. Brings a fascination to the subconscious, interests in the occult, spirituality, supernatural, mysticism, psychology or religion is highly likely. Can indicate psychic abilities and may suffer from nightmare, vivid dreams, and dèjavù.
Vertex 8h this is a mystical placement. Vertex is always located on the western hemisphere, this needs to be activated by person, place, or event, even a particular transit can activate it.
Cancer Placements, meaning placed in the sign of Cancer or in the 4th House, intuitive and empathetic. This includes the Sun, Moon &/or Ascendant.
Scorpio Placements, meaning placed in the sign of Scorpio or in the 8h, heightened psychic forces. This includes the Sun, Moon &/or Ascendant.

Cancer Moons are typically stronger in psychic gifts than Scorpio and Pisces and that's because they are ruled by the Moon. They are extremely sensitive and are able to pick on others energies a bit stronger naturally, they all have this gift even if they don't know it. That's not saying Pisces or Scorpio aren't strong when it comes to their abilities because Neptune and Pluto both play a huge role in psychic abilities, but since they're outer planets they're not as strong as the closest luminary to our planet and has a strong effect on the planet and ourselves. That being said all water Moons are highly intuitive and the strongest psychically out of all signs.
Sagittarius, Virgo, Libra, Taurus, and Aquarius Moons are all beholden to intuitive abilities as well, especially if placed in the 4, 8, 12th houses.

School institutionalized whumping. Idk what this is but take it. I lost a little steam towards the end.
TW: corporal punishment, I accidentally went off on Monster Whumpees, conditioned whumpees, living weapon whumpees, creepy/intimate whumper meantioned, non-descriptive examples of of non-con possibilities, meantions of electric fences, meantions of tracking devices, meantions of shock collar, meantions of paddles.

Uniforms or appearance standards that are enforced at all times. Forcibly cutting or shaving a students head if their hair is too long. All students being forced to wear long skirts regardless of gender for humiliation purposes, acess to legs, conformity, hiding cane marks/another way to enforce the dress code.
Whumpees who have perhaps grown up in a whumping institution that looks and is structured like a academic school. Whumpees never leaving the grounds being conditioned that the outside world doesn't want them, doesn't exists, fear gaslight them and shows them horrifying videos and using it for propaganda. Whumpees not allowed to leave by force or conditioning or a combination of both. Whumpees having tracking devices installed on them but they're all in different places on each person so they can't rely on the same spot in case they ever figure it out. A invisible electric perimeter fence that could pair with the tracking device, a shock collar or both.
If it's a Living Weapon/Training institution they could be conditioned to belive they are too dangerous for the public, they've been rejected, they will be killed if they leave. Whumpees who have razor sharp reflexes that end up hurting their team mates/other Whumpees/caretaker/Whumpers/random stranger in public, you name it. Whumpees who have a trigger word/switch that when it goes off one moment they're perfectly fine and the next they're just lost in the sauce either sleeper agent style or just literally killer instinct and doesn't realize it until after. Cue quilty conscious, self blame, possibly survivors guilt, isolation, the anxiety eating them alive, perhaps they're so worried about hurting someone else it becomes a self fulfilling proficy. Whumpee's deep in thought about themself while doing a daily task when Caretaker/Whumper passes them/brushes against them/touches them and Whumpee responds violently. Whumpees who belive they are a monster.
Or are actually being turned into a monster. Feral monster Whumpees have my entire heart, so maybe a Whumpe that is injected with a serium that makes them go feral. Other Whumpees have to try and reverse it, Whumpee struggles to fight it and wins, whumpee struggles to fight it and fails furthering the feralization if you will. Bonus points if it was by accident and the person who did it, either another student or professor/teacher/headmaster whatever does it. Perhaps the perpetrator blames someone they have power over? I love someone abusing power over others.
Ok I got a little lost in the sauce there BUT back to the school specific stuff. Punishments being canes, public humiliation, hair cutting/shaving, forcibly stripped to undergarments or naked in front of the entire class. If they're wearing skirts I saw a picture of a bunch of girl students being forced to have their panties down to their ankles and in a mixed/neutral gendered setting it could be humiliating for everyone to drop their underwear to their ankles. Skirts are like the best accessible whump clothing next to dresses and robes.
Detention but it's just a formality before being taken to the "punishment room" where there is a dungeon. There's a Saint Andrew's cross, a table with straps on it, a stool, a bunch of canes, gags, wooden stocks and more.
Whumpee is bent over the table with their skirt hiked up. Non-con possibility with creepy/intimate Whumper commenting on their underwear, their legs, touching their legs, running the cane up and down their legs and smacking their butt/sex. Whumper commenting on how many cane marks Whumpee has, trying to burn their cane marks over other Whumpers in a possessive or sadistic manner. Whumper hitting whumpee in the same spot, perhaps even disguised as a merciful gesture to avoid bruising and marking more skin, Whumpee not realizing it hurts more when they do, or if/when they do begging to be hit somewhere else but Whumper enjoys their tears and shreiks so much they refuse. Whumper doing the same but with paddles. Paddles can hurt man, in good ways and in bad ways. They have firehouse rubber paddles and I could never imagine getting hit with one of those. My worst nightmare. So stingy!

Okay well obvious first: Kestrel is literally an American kestrel. Like, that's literally what I based their character on (both physically and in their characteristics), they're a shapeshifter and a kestrel is their main form, it's the whole point. I love these funky lil raptors

Next, her name might be Robin, but she's a canary. They're known for being able to sing two songs at once, which reminds me of her ability. Her story also makes me think of miner's canaries - fully ready to sacrifice herself to save others' lives... but some miners carried resuscitation devices to save the canaries because they got so attached to the birds :) Also, not all canaries are yellow!

I feel like Rae would be a mute swan. They're supposed to be a symbol of grace, but they're actually deceptively territorial and love to start fights. And they mate for life! If that's not Rae, I don't know what is.

Jasper is a mandarin duck! They're super bright and colorful, which I think suits Jasper well, and they're one of a few species of birds known to change sex from female to male. And while the Mandarin duck isn't known particularly to display same-sex mating tendencies, several other species of ducks are.

Ophelia is a cassowary for sure. They're big, strong, super fiesty, and they're a species of flightless bird (which in my eyes could represent Ophelia being a superhero without powers of her own, like a bird can't fly). Plus, one of her signature clothing pieces is a navy blue long coat, and the cassowary's feathers reminded me of that.

Indigo is an Iranian ground jay. For one thing, their coloration reminded me of her hair, especially with the white stripes on the wings. For another, jays are corvids, so they're very clever birds, but they're not often recognized as corvids since people usually associate the word with crows, ravens, and magpies (i.e. Indigo being very strong and smart of her own right, but rarely being noticed). And as a ground jay, she's "underfoot".

With all the focus on Ancient Egyptian culture and mythology, Katherine has to be an African sacred ibis. They represented Thoth, the god of knowledge and wisdom, and while Katherine herself is more connected to Bastet than Thoth, the connection to Egyptian mythology as a whole means this is absolutely her bird. (though an honorable mention to sun conures, since she keeps them as pets in the fic)

I know I said Prometheus is a phoenix in (Farewell) Wanderlust (and I still stick to the decision that the Corinthian is a barn owl), but I figured I'd pick a real-life bird here just for fun. This was a tough decision, but I went with a slender-billed crow. For one thing, there's a Lenape legend about Rainbow Crow bringing fire to humans and having his feathers burnt black, which reminded me of the legend of Prometheus and his fire in the Greek myths. Crows also form family groups and are even known to hold funerals for their loved ones, which made me think of Prometheus' endless care and compassion for their dreamers. Crows are also linked to Morpheus, and bonus... slender-billed crows are Passerine birds, and we both know Passerine is a total Prometheus song :)

I also struggled a bit with Quinn. On the one hand, I wanted to make her a loon, since they're excellent diving and swimming birds but are physically incapable of walking because of where their legs are positioned (great in their own element, but with disabilities outside it). On the other hand, I wanted to make them a mockingbird, partially for their sharp wit and partially because of their skill with disguises. But in the end, I decided to make her a flamingo: super bright and flashy, almost to the point of being a joke, but shockingly resilient to anything they come across (I mean, look it up, flamingos can survive all kinds of temperature, salinity, acidity, you name it. They're hot pink TANKS)

And finally, I know I've compared Madison to a goose in Smoke and Mirrors for her protective nature, and I debated making her a Major Mitchell's cockatoo for their coloration (thank you Odel), but I ended up settling on a red-chested goshawk. Goshawks are VERY protective birds - they can and will attack anyone or anything that gets too close to their young. They're strictly monogamous birds and actually put a lot of care into raising their young. They're strong hunters and are said to be adaptable to their habitat.

18. Who leaves little notes in the other's lunch? (Bonus: what does it usually say?)
Since I imagine Osamu makes Suna's lunch almost every day at Inarizaki, dually to test out his recipes and to take care of Suna, I think he does this. I would like to think he writes really, really bad food puns related to whatever meal he just made in hopes of making Suna laugh from the sheer cringe factor alone. He also always tacks on a PS which features something sweet, with the goal of making Suna blush and/or punch him in the arm.
When they're living in different cities, Osamu tries order lunch for them both from a chain restaurant that has locations in both Shizuoka and Osaka at least once a week. (He likes to eat locally but for this plan to work he has to rely franchises) He'll have Suna's meal delivered to the EJP Raijin gym and his to Onigiri Miya. That way they can feel like they're eating together, even if it's at different times in different places, just as they did back in Hyogo.
To top it all off, in the notes for Suna's order, he still writes bizarre little jokes, not caring what the delivery guy or chefs will think. It's gotten Suna some strange looks from drivers over the years but c'est la vie.
26. What would be their theme song?
THIS IS HARD!!! When writing earth and moon, I repeatedly listened to J's Lullaby by Delaney Bailey, as I felt that song really embodied the atmosphere and energy of what I was writing. Lyrically, I'm not sure if it's the best match. I just love something very soft and without frills for them. Inevitable by Anberlin is also another good one for them. I also love this instrumental piece called Wanderlust by AK for them. I don't know to describe it, but it encapsulates their energy very well to me. I probably listened to this one the most actually while writing them.
28. What do they do when they're away from each other?
This is actually a plot point in earth and moon! They do a lot of things, but I have a favorite one. So mild spoiler alert I guess?
For context: Suna and Osamu discuss the moving away from each other, causing Suna to confess he fears Osamu will forget about him. Osamu responds with the story about how Atsumu knew he had a crush on him before he did.
“One day, I snapped. Asked why his delusional ass was so convinced I liked ya.” Osamu smiles, a little pull of his lips, a little pull of Rin’s heart. Gravity living and breathing and just eighteen. “Do ya know what he said?”
Rin shakes his head. 
“He said he knew cuz I kept findin’ ya in things.” Thunder rumbles, a low kind of crash that jostles the ground beneath feet and glass in barely kept together windows. “Told me that my every other sentence was some variation of ‘doesn’t this remind ya of Rin?’” Osamu chuckles, the sound tumbling, as if each breath trips the next. “To which he’d always answer ‘no ‘cuz I’m not in love with him ya moron,’ and I’d always promptly put him in a headlock.”
Rin snorts, sticky and dull, but something in his chest clears. Light seeps in.
Sighing, Osamu says, “and as much as I hate to admit it, he got me thinkin’.” He cranes his head, watching falling raindrops as if they bottle his thoughts. “Thinkin’ about how I’d find ya in the bottoms of pudding cups and the backyard willow tree and the bridge of my favorite song.” They kiss his face. Baby blue bursts of memory. “And I realized ‘Tsumu got somethin’ wrong.” Osamu grins properly now. Crooked and wide. His old lip scar drawn over with gray ink. “I didn’t just randomly find ya in those things, I was lookin’. And I still look.”
He gazes at Rin directly. Moonlight curves around the storm’s bend. Softly shining amongst the sky’s black melancholy. It does not best the lightning or better the rain, but it returns. Constant, even when Rin believed it to be lost. 
“I look for ya in strawberry soda, shichimi, and the sea. In vanilla, camera flashes, and the color green. In bedsheets, stars, and all my dreams.” Osamu steps closer to Rin so their noses almost brush. “So long as there’s a scrape of matter and a shred of my soul, I’ll be looking for ya, Rin. Until yer lookin’ back. And I know that ya will. Because goin’ does not mean goodbye."
They develop this habit of texting each other messages and/or pictures anytime they see something that reminds them of the other person. It ranges from sweet things like sunsets and starry nights to dirty bumper stickers and a racoon that lives in the dumpster behind Osamu's apartment. They do other things as well, but this one is my favorite.

So I have two because they're character headcanons.
Suna has abandonment issues that manifest in him leaving relationships first, since he can't fathom anyone wanting to stick around. After all, no one has ever chanced after him when he moved, so he learned to just stop looking back.
Osamu's life has been defined by his accomplishments, which results in this sort of covert perfectionism. People love him for what he does, not who he is. He ends up developing in an intense fear of failure, especially when he initially struggles to get Onigiri Miya off the ground.
30. one headcanon about this OTP that mends it
They both unlearn these issues through each other! Osamu actively fights to keep Suna in his life and teaches him that the possibility of pain and being left doesn't devalue or undermine the importance of relationships in the first place.
Suna shows Osamu that not only does he love him for who he is, regardless of his success, but he is proud of him too. One of his lines in after is literally: "I love you for who you are, not who you think you have to be." Suna gives Osamu permission to "fail," which in turn gives Osamu the freedom to grow.

The dreams of drudge workers often spiral into dull repetition. Long dreams of their work, interspersed with disasters and confusion. If enough of these dreams carry on for long enough, the conditions of them can manifest. Many of these dreams are weak or relatively passive, but the most infamous catalogued so far is the forgeblind punisher, manifested from the dreams of heavy foundry workers and construction workers primarily. This towering figure typically stands over 10 feet tall, though its hunched form means it could be quite a bit taller, and it simply wanders about the job site that manifested it using its hammer to find its way. It "sees" by hitting the ground and feeling the way the ground and air react to the impact, meaning that simply travelling causes damage, especially as it gets a closer "look" at objects or creaters by swinging its hammer into them. Even if it's not actively hostile, it's incredibly destructive and tends to turn hostile when anyone attempts to curtail the damage it causes.
Outside of Dreamblade, the forgeblind punisher is likely a specially conditioned ogre or giant. They're quite a bit tougher than most regular giants, especially in 5e, so what causes that and how it reflects on the society surrounding the punisher could be interesting. Day 19 of @taznovembercelebration : Lost, found and Day 20: Outfit, sparkle
Lucretia stares, stoney faced, at the screen on the wall as it shuts off, but the image of the half elf and orc's glares are still burned into her mind. It could have been worse for them, she tries to reason with herself. At least they chose forsake too, so they didn't get totally fucked. She feels a hand on her shoulder, and she turns her head to look at Cam who looks as awful as she feels. He didn't fair particularly well this battle. On top of the gashes and bruises he has from their past fights, his whole right side of his face and body are bloodied, and his now graying hair is still smoking slightly. He looks tired and hopeless. He wouldn't be here if it weren't for her. She should have researched a way to infiltrate this place instead of trying to go through it the normal way. If she had done that, they might have been able to avoid all of the trials they've been put through since coming here.
"How are you holding up?" Cam wheezes, still trying to catch his breath. "You took a nasty hit there at the very end."
That is true. Lucretia feels her skin still burning from her chest to her stomach, and her clothes are tattered and charred. She tries for a weak smile anyway and pushes away the pain. "Doing better than you, I think." She turns her head away to cough, leaning on her Bulwark Staff for support, and she whimpers as her stomach and chest move.
When she recovers slightly, she looks back at Cam who looks at her grimly. "At least we didn't pick trust, huh?" He moves his left arm up to wipe at his face before he looks at the stump where his hand used to be and sighs.
"Yeah, that could have gone worse," Lucretia agrees. She digs in her bag a little bit before pulling out a cloth. She hands it over to him, and he lets go of her shoulder to take it gratefully. He wobbles a little as he wipes his face before he offers it back out to her, and she shakes her head. He puts it in his bag before grabbing her shoulder again to steady himself.
"Looks like you two aren't doing too hot!"
Lucretia and Cam turn to glare at Edward who has appeared next to a doorway on the opposite side of the room along with Lydia. They're both wearing matching red and gold pantsuits with sparkling black sequins, and Lucretia would have appreciated the way they were making it work if it weren't for the fact that, because of them, there is a very real chance she's never going to get out of here alive. They're just playing with their food at this point and using her for their entertainment, and she doesn't have the time or patience for any of it. She needs to get back to Davenport and Fisher. She needs the Animus Bell. She needs her family back. And most of all, she needs help. She's the only one in the world besides Barry who knows about the Relics and the war and the Hunger, which, at this point, it all feels like a fever dream because she's been stuck here doing this for so long. She can't die here. The world and existence are counting on her.
"How would you like to do a bonus round?" Lydia says with a sadistic smile. "That might help bring up your spirits."
Lucretia and Cam look at each other before turning back to look at them. "Do we actually have a choice in the matter?" Cam asks irritatedly.
Edward chuckles. "No."
"Sounds great," Lucretia says forcefully. "Come on, Cam."
Cam sighs but lets her help him across the room and through the door.
They enter into a room with three large platforms about a foot and a half above the ground with large, multicolored neon signs hanging above them. One sign says Recovery Game, another says Healing Game, and the last one reads Escape Game. Cam stands up a little straighter and looks directly at the Escape Game sign.
"For the bonus round, you get to pick the game you want to play!" Edward says. "Each of these will help you in your journey through Wonderland, or even help you end it! But you only get to pick one, so choose wisely."
"Escape Game," Cam says immediately before turning to Lucretia. "Right? Let's get the hell out of here. Nothing is worth staying here forever."
Lucretia takes a second before nodding minutely. If they can get out of here, she can find some other way to get the Bell later, after she's gotten more help and made sure other people know of the Relics' existence at the very least. She can't let the knowledge die, and she can't die before casting her barrier. "Yeah, let's go with the Escape Game."
They both step onto the platform, and a ripple of light emits from it and travels through the room, making everything else in the room disappear. Then, all of a sudden, two booths appear in front of them with black curtains drawn across the entrance. Neon trim lights run around the walls of the room, and the bright neon sign saying Escape Game is floating above the booths.
Edward and Lydia appear again on either side of the booths. "Welcome to the Escape Game!" Edward says enthusiastically. "In this game, you and your partner will have a chance to forego claiming your prize and leave Wonderland forever!"
"There are rules, however," Lydia says, "just like in the trust or forsake game. Leaving Wonderland is a trip only one of you gets to make depending on your choices that you'll make in these booths." She gestures to the stalls next to her. "If you both pick trust, you won't leave Wonderland just yet, but you'll still have a chance to make it through and win your prize."
"If one of you picks trust and the other picks forsake, the person who picked forsake will get to leave Wonderland right now without their prize, but the person who picked trust will have to stay here forever," Edward jumps in.
"And if you both pick forsake, you both will be stuck here forever, and you will have no chance of winning your prizes and leaving. You will spend the rest of eternity here, and you will never get another chance to leave again." Lydia says.
Cam turns to Lucretia, looking panicked. "Wait, forget what I said earlier. Lucretia, please, you have to believe me. It's not worth it to press forsake. You might escape Wonderland, but the Felicity Wilds are just as dangerous. You won't make it out alive alone. I know we haven't been doing too hot, but we'll at least have a chance of making it out together if we both hit trust. Please, I'm begging you."
Lucretia looks at him uncertainly. At this point, she knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that there is no chance of winning their prizes fairly. If she doesn't leave now, they're never going to let her leave, and she doesn't know how else to make a way out of here for herself and Cam. But she can't just leave him here to suffer forever. That's not fair to him, and he doesn't deserve it. He's been so kind and helpful, and even if he wasn't, no one should be made to stay here.
She has a job to do though. She has a duty to the world and to her family. Who is going to collect the Relics and keep them out of innocent hands? Who is going to put together the Light of Creation and cast her shield?
Who is going to look after Davenport and bring her family back together once it's safe to do so?
Every life is worth preserving. That belief is what led her down this road in the first place. But after over a hundred years of sacrifices and being put in the position of having to choose the many over the few again and again and again, she's gotten very familiar with the role she must take. Everyone is a villain in someone's story no matter how much good they try to do or what their intentions are. If she has to be the villain in one more person's story to save everything and her family...
So be it.
Lucretia takes a deep breath and looks Cam directly in the eyes. "You're right. Neither one of us can do this alone. We have to stick together, so we're both going to hit trust, right?"
Cam lets out the breath he's been holding. "Yeah, thank you for believing me."
Lucretia just nods, fear gripping her heart momentarily. What if this is a trick and he picks forsake and traps her in here too?
She'll just have to find another way out anyway.
"Okay, if you're ready to make your decision, step right in here!" Edward says, waving his hand to magically move open the curtains.
Lucretia and Cam step into their booths, and the curtains close behind them. Lucretia looks at the pedestal in front of her with the two buttons. One that's green and says trust. The other that's red and says forsake. She closes her eyes. Please let him pick trust. She opens her eyes again and lightly presses the forsake button with a shaking hand.
After a second, the booths disappear, and Lydia smiles as she points at the wall. "Let's see what the both of you chose!"
Some sort of electronic music starts playing from somewhere. It's upbeat but haunting, and it makes the panic clenching at Lucretia's chest multiply by tenfold. She starts hyperventilating as she stares at the screen.
Cam's decision: Trust!
Lucretia's decsion: Forsake!
The music gets louder, and confetti falls down from the ceiling on top of her as Cam turns to look at her in horror and betrayal. "Congratulations, Lucretia! You get to leave Wonderland!" Edward says with a wide smile, and Lydia laughs.
A door opens up in the back of the room leading to the outside clearing in the forest as Cam says in the most distraught voice, "Lucretia, why?"
Lucretia looks at him for a second and sees the silent tears sliding down his shocked face.
She can't force herself to choke out the words I'm sorry.
Instead, she turns and sprints for the door before the elves change their mind, listening to them laugh and Cam cursing her name behind her.
She lost another piece of herself that day. A really big one this time. And she doesn't know if she's ever going to find it again and get it back.

Wow, what a milestone, huh? It feels like only yesterday we were building Mash. Didn't even know you could grab multiple fighting styles back then. We were also one person back then. Things change. Things change even faster when you have magic eyes that let you bend anything you can see, so let's hurry up and build Asagami Fujino already. She is a Quandrix Sorcerer to tear apart anything she lays eyes on, as well as expand her field of vision beyond what her eyes can see. Dangerous combination, that.

Wait, what's that...
Race and Background
No surprises here, Fujino is a Variant Human, because normal humans can't tear people apart with their mind. That means she gets +1 Dexterity and Charisma, as well as proficiency with Perception (kind of her deal) and the Tough feat. HP isn't just how much body you have to get hurt, it's also how badly getting hurt affects you. Fujino's deadened sense of pain means she can take hits and keep going, purely due to the fact that she doesn't realize she should stop. That means you're getting an extra 2 HP each level.
Fujino is a schoolgirl, so the closest thing we have is the Cloistered Scholar background. That gives you History and Nature proficiency.
Ability Scores
Your highest score should be Charisma. Your magic eyes are an innate part of you, and it's really easy to be frightening when you can tear a bridge down around you. Second highest should be Constitution, for the reasons we outlined in your background feat. Your Dexterity should probably be pretty high, you fight in clothing, and you fought against Shiki for more than five seconds without dying. That's impressive. Your Intelligence isn't that bad, though you're still going through school. We aren't dumping Strength, it's alright, but we are dumping Wisdom. You have a hard time feeling yourself and feeling connected to other people.
Class Levels
You're a Sorcerer, giving you proficiency with Constitution and Charisma saves, as well as proficiency with the Intimidation and Arcana skills. You've got magic implanted in your face, and again, bridge. As a Sorcerer, you can cast spells using your Charisma. Blade Ward deadens your senses further, giving you resistance to physical damage types for a round. Mending lets you twist a small item back together, instead of tearing it apart. Sword Burst is a short range bending... sorta. Force damage is hard to quantify. But it's free, so that's nice. You can also Shape Water to bend liquids to your will. For first level spells, Mage Armor helps you not die, and Magic Missile lets you shoot little bursts of twistiness that'll never miss. You also join the school of Quandrix, which gives you the starting gift of the spells Guidance and Guiding Bolt. They aren't super in character, but they're free, so suck it up. More Importantly, you learn Functions of Probability, helping you bend luck in your favor. When you cast a leveled spell targeting a creature, you can add an effect to a nearby creature (yourself included). A Diminishing Function forces a wisdom save (DC 8 + Chr mod + proficiency), and if it fails it subtracts 1d6 from the next attack roll it makes this round. Turns out swordfighting is hard when your sword is a corkscrew. Alternatively, a Supplemental Function lets a creature add a d6 to an attack or save made in the next round. This part is less believable, but if you're creative I'm sure it'll look good.
Second level sorcerers are a Font of Magic, giving you sorcery points equal to your level per long rest. You can turn them into slots, or turn slots into points. Eventually you can do other things. Also, you can cast Thunderwave now. It destroys objects, you destroy objects, it's a match made in heaven.
Now that you're a third level sorcerer, you can make your spells truly your own thanks to Metamagic! If you cast a Heightened spell, one creature in its effect has disadvantage on their save against it. If you cast an Empowered spell, you can re-roll a couple damage dice. Tearing people in half is generally hard to avoid, and kind of damaging. You can also bend the air itself by casting Dust Devil, creating a Medium sized tornado, dealing damage to creatures nearby and pushing them around. It'll even pick up dust and make things hard to see, though that's kind of a drawback for you.
Use your very first Ability Score Improvement to bump up your Charisma. Kind of a spell-based build, to be honest. Speaking of, Mage Hand probably doesn't have much tearing force behind it, but it's free. You can also cast Shatter for more indiscriminate destruction.
Fifth level sorcerers gain third level spells like Clairvoyance! Now you can see a bird's eye view of the battlefield, tearing your way through it like, well, you.
At sixth level it's about time you started bending the earth to your will. You can Velocity Shift nearby creatures if they start their turn or move within 30' of you. If they fail a charisma save you can shove them to any other point within 30' of you. You can react this way 30' per long rest. Twist debris at people and watch them scatter, it's fun. To help with that, you can also cast Erupting Earth, bending the ground in a 20' cube. This forces dex saves on creatures in the cube, dealing damage and making the area difficult terrain until it's cleaned up.
Seventh level sorcerers get fourth level spells like Stoneskin for even more deadened senses. Now you resist physical damage without having to waste your action every turn. It does use your concentration, but it lasts an hour.
Another ASI! Max out your Charisma for super special eyes. You can also Control Water to create truly damaging whirlpools. There's other options, but whirlpools! Who'd want anything else?
Oh hey, I found something you might want else. It's fifth level spell Bigby's Hand! You can grab people and play with them like a stress ball. Technically there isn't a twisting option, but a Grasping Hand is probably the best you'll do. It'll grapple a huge or smaller creature, and if it successfully does so you can Crush it as a bonus action for damage.
Another Metamagic option! Technically these spells are all just you looking at things, so grab Subtle Spell so you don't have to yell out all your attack names. You can also Mold Earth. It's not that powerful, but it's free twisting. You also get Telekinesis! Again, no "twisting" in the rules, but it's strong enough to lift an object of 1000 pounds, and fine enough to open a door. Their heads should be popping off here.
Sixth level spells! Here are the big boys of the spell world. If you twist anything enough, eventually it'll Disintegrate, dealing plenty of force damage and leaving behind a mess you can't even revive. A little too clean for Fujino, but it's destructive enough.
ASI time. Bump up Constitution for a thicker skin and more HP. HP changes retroactively, so you get an extra 12 HP here.
Did you know turning into rotini is painful? Your enemies certainly know that, thanks to Power Word Pain. If a charmable creature has 100 HP or less, their speed drops to 10', and it gets disadvantage on all attacks, checks, and saves, aside from constitution saves. If it tries to cast a spell, it'll be wasted if it can't pass a constitution save. The target stays in pain forever until it can pass a constitution save.
Cool, so fun thing about these Multi Class Subclasses! As long as you're the correct level, you can take any one feature they have each time you hit the appropriate level in your main class. Since the highest requirement is 14, we're taking Quantum Tunneling now, and we'll pop back to the other one later. Your senses permanently deaden, giving you complete resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. You can also bend your way through any physical objects, as long as you're willing to deal with a halved movement speed and 1d10 damage each square you move. You also have to end your turn in an empty spot. Playing to character this should leave a huge hole behind you, but maybe you're conscientious? You weren't raised in a barn, after all.
Your eighth level spell is Earthquake. Now no structure in your view is safe from your destructive powers. Tear open the earth, shatter structures, and interrupt concentration, there's nothing you can't do!
Bump up your Dexterity this ASI. Not getting hit is still pretty useful, even if you can't feel it.
Remember when I said turning into rotini hurts? I was wrong. Actually, it kills you. Please grab Power Word Kill to reflect these changes. You have become death, destroyer of mages. You also learn how to cast Distant Spells, doubling your spell's range. Your range should be "anywhere in sight", so this is a step in the right direction.
Okay, I guess we'll grab Null Equation. Once per turn you can twist up a creature you damaged. If they fail a constitution save, they get disadvantage on strength and dexterity saves, and they only deal half damage with weapon attacks, all for a round. You can do this Proficiency times per long rest. Again, real hard to hit people when your femurs are spring shaped.
Use your last ASI for more Constitution for more HP and better concentration.
We've finally done it, we've made a pure sorcerer build! It's time to finally learn the dark secret of the Sorcerer capstone. What feature could be so powerful we've completely avoided it for 200 builds? It's Sorcerous Restoration. You get 4 sorcery points per short rest. It's not good. Sorry.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
You're good at dealing damage, and your most powerful spells deal Force damage, which almost nothing blocks against. That means you're consistent and deadly, a solid combination.
You're so good at damage that it isn't just limited to creatures. Use telekinesis, mold earth, and shatter to tear apart structures that are getting in your way. Walls? Torn down. Steel Beams? Melted. Bridges? Falling down.
Despite spending your entire time in a class with the worst hit dice imaginable, you're pretty tough to kill, with just over 200 HP, a decent AC for a spellcaster, and permanent resistance to physical damage types. To make things worse for fighters, it's also a pain to get near you, since you can tear up the area around you and shunt melee fighters away as a reaction.
Cons:
While you do have magic missile, a lot of your spells deal damage in wide areas, so your party might have words with you about using earthquake one too many times.
While you're good at tearing things up, that's just about all your magic can do. There's the occasional Clairvoyance and some defensive spells, but by and large you're either dealing damage or doing nothing.
Despite your great physical defense, you struggle a bit more against other damage types. If you end up fighting someone who can turn their knife into psychic damage, you might have a problem on your hands.

I think my logic is that in a modern AU I can easily headcanon one of them meeting the other while traveling/studying abroad, and I can see them having to have a long-distance friendship/relationship for a while. But they never want to stop talking, so they're constantly facetiming and skyping!!! And always waiting very, very impatiently for that next video call! Hence "I see her online and I gotta see the girl on the screen" XD Anyways they hear it and they're like "YES OUR SONG PLZ" and they gleefully steal it from the heterosexual men XD I also feel like they have a whole Extra, synchronized dance routine to it, and they've probably rehearsed it much more than is reasonable. Moana also definitely tries to still do the hand movements while driving, and nearly gets them into a wreck a number of times. It's still a better option than letting Merida drive, where she'd purposely ram into some asshole who cut her off before they even get to the freeway

Well obviously the first place I went was the Wicked soundtrack, and I thought for SURE I was going to end up picking a Glinda and Elphaba song, BUT...it's actually this one that reminded me most of Them???

I'm imagining an AU where Moana and Merida have just started dating, but they're keeping it a secret and are too scared to tell their parents they're girlfriends. Merida has no idea what Elinor's going to think (and uhhhh full offense but I am not at all convinced her traditionalist ass wouldn't be at least a little homophobic lmao), and Moana is worried Tui's going to be mad she's not carrying on the family legacy by having kids and such (even in a modern AU, I imagine Moana coming from an important and influential family). Both Moana and Merida are total musical theater nerds (that's part of what they bonded over in the first place!), and eventually they save up enough to go on a "totally platonic best friends' trip" to NYC to see Wicked on Broadway. When As Long As You're Mine comes on, they both just start SOBBING and pressing up as close as they can against each other in their seats like "THAT'S OUR SONGGGG"
Fwiw I see Merida singing the Elphaba parts and Moana singing the Fiyero parts!
Also they definitely cry during For Good, they're just a mess by the end

Just happened to catch a volleyball match for the Olympics and I instantly thought of your Glee vb au artwork! I've got no idea how the game works, but oooft your drawings make me wish I did LOL.
Hi!! im so honoured u thought of my vb au art, im super passionate about it haha
Im not particularly great at explaining stuff but I figured id give you a run-down of the basics and I may or may not have gotten carried away with drawing diagrams and stuff...
anyway uhhh so basic rules: each side is allowed to touch the ball 3 times max before getting it over the net, but you can't touch the ball twice in a row and it can't touch the ground.

ok so! here's one side of the net :)
there are always 2 middle blockers and 2 outside (left-side) hitters on each side of the net. usually the other 2 players would be the setter and an opposite (right-side) hitter, but sometimes the team could have 2 setters on the court. if the middle blocker in the back row isn't serving, they're switched out for the libero, who only plays defence (ill explain the libero's role in more detail later). another thing to note here is that the people sharing the same position will be opposite each other on the court (ex: santana and tina are both outside hitters, so their starting positions in this are 1 and 4, the middle blockers are in 3 and 6, etc)
in position 1 we have whoever is serving (in this case it's santana). the team rotates clock-wise once they score a point from the opponents' serve, so the next server would be the person in position 2, etc (however, if the team is serving and scores, they don't rotate and the person in 1 continues serving until the other team scores).
also keep in mind that these are just the starting positions! so once santana has served, she and sugar (5) will switch so that she's on the left side of the court and sugar is on the right side. in this rotation that's pretty much the only switch that needs to be done, but in other rotations there would be switches in the front row (see below - brittany [setter] starts in 4, santana [outside hitter] is in 3 and currently faceless middle blocker is in 2, so they have to do the old switcheroo once the serve goes over to end up in the right offensive positions)

I won't go into all of the defence rotations for when the other team is serving bc I feel like this is already a lot (unless u want more lol) so I'll just quickly explain the libero position
the libero is the one in a different coloured uniform (so like, in the first team illustration I did they're all in red except Quinn, who's in white). that's bc they have to be recognisable, since they are constantly going on and off the court. basically what happens is that once a middle blocker rotates to the back row and finishes serving, they'll go off the court and the libero will come on instead until they have to rotate back to the front row. the libero isn't allowed to spike the ball - ultimately their only job is to try and cover as much of the court as they can. usually they'll be hanging around position 6, and are in charge of covering the back corners of the court. additionally, if the setter isn't able to get the second touch on the ball, the libero can set instead (however, they can't set to a spiker from anywhere between the 3m line and the net unless they're in the air - so they could jump from behind the line and set while jumping)
this got really long and idk if it all makes sense bc I tend to ramble but I hope it helps!
