DAX DROPS NEW SINGLE & MUSIC VIDEO “NARCISSIST” FEATURING PHIX OUT NOW
Back with another emotionally charged anthem, platinum-certified Nigerian-Canadian rapper, singer, and songwriter Dax unveils his new single “Narcissist” featuring Phix out now on RECORDS / Columbia Records.
The track laces a steady beat with an airy guitar melody. Dax gets reflective on the verses before coming to a realization during the chorus, “The key to your heart opens up a place I’m not safe in.” Holding nothing back, he shakes off the illusion and loosens himself from “narcissistic bouts of rage, accusations every day, arguments that you create to break the soul inside of me.”
About “Narcissist,” Dax commented, “If you don’t take the time and necessary steps to heal from what hurt you you’ll end up bleeding on people who never cut you. I’m praying this song provides comfort for those who may be experiencing any type of abuse…”

Phix added, “Dax and I really speak from the heart on ‘Narcissist’. I remember a few conversations we had when we were on tour together about our past relationships and how they affected us in different ways. I believe that conversation was the catalyst for this song. I think it’s important to speak about the traits and toxicities tied to narcissism in a relationship and how it affects the other person. Sometimes we find our lowest lows when looking for love, and ‘Narcissist’ is about that to a ‘T’. What I wrote for the song came so natural, because I have experienced all of what I speak about firsthand. Nothing was fabricated. I’m incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to share such a powerful message with Dax. This is a song the world needs to hear.”
Breaking through on his own terms with over 1 billion streams and 1 billion YouTube views to date, 2022 proved to be a pivotal year for Dax with the release of “Dear Alcohol” and he continued that momentum in 2023 with a JUNO Award nomination for ‘Breakthrough Artist of the Year.’
He continues to make a name for himself in the music industry by creating topic-driven music that sparks conversation. His 7-track project, What Is Life?, featured four new songs as well as previously released singles “God’s Eyes,” “To Be A Man,” and “Dear Alcohol,” which is officially certified Platinum by the RIAA marking Dax’s first track to sell more than one million copies in the US.
Everything just sets the stage for more music to come from Dax in 2024.

PRESSA COLLABORATES WITH TOOSII FOR HIS NEW TRACK “W HOTEL”
youtube
Emerging Jamaican-Filipino-Canadian rapper Pressa releases his new track “W Hotel” featuring Toosii . This is a long overdue collaboration between the two friends as they can be heard rapping on the track about having a good time at the W Hotel.
Last year, Pressa dropped two singles – “Minimum Wage” , and "Unfollow Me". “Minimum Wage” music video was directed by Corentin “Coco” Leroux. “Unfollow Me” had an official Jason B-directed visual and focuses on the fast pace of the industry and Pressa’s continuous hustle and the fame/women that come with it.
Those singles follow his feature on Bandokay’s 2023 single "The Jungle". Prior to this, Pressa dropped his 2020 project Gardner Express, which got a deluxe version in 2021. The deluxe included the alternative version of hit song “Attachments” featuring Coi Leray and featured other artists like Swae Lee, Sleepy Hallow, Sheff G and more.

To paraphrase Wendy Williams: death to all of them.
Sky is high, sea is deep, world is wild and mysterious.
Turn it over in your hands, don't always take it so serious.
It's dark at night, it's true, but look up high, you'll see a light.
Stars are shining just for you, and everything will be alright.
The world just got a little more graceful.
Mm-hm, yep.
The world just got a little more graceful.
