Something is wrong.

Yesterday, you chalked it up to nerves. It wasn’t unusual for homeowners to freeze up a little in front of the cameras on the first day of shooting, but they usually got over it quickly.

Today though… you don’t think it’s nerves.

You met newly engaged couple Marcus Pike and Teresa Lisbon a few months ago at their casting interview. Marcus had surprised Teresa by buying a house for their future family. The two of them stared lovingly into each other’s eyes and laughed as they recounted starting a renovation project that quickly got out of their control.

Their project was just right for the show slot and their love story was sure to be a hit with viewers. It was a no-brainer booking.

Maybe it shouldn’t have been.

Watching them now, Teresa looks like she would rather be anywhere else but here. She stands woodenly next to Marcus with a pasted-on smile that doesn’t reach her eyes. Since filming began yesterday, she has only offered one-word answers as she robotically goes through the motions of the show.

Marcus, on the other hand, is overly enthusiastic. His eyes shine with manic energy, while his smile is too big, too bright. He has the look of a man trying desperately to hold things together by sheer force of will.

You recognize both of their expressions.

You’ve seen them in the mirror.

Suddenly it’s not the sun making you feel too warm. You excuse yourself and retreat to the shade and privacy behind one of the crew trailers. You sink into the cool grass and rest your head back against the trailer, allowing painful memories to crest over you and then recede.

Joel finds you there a few minutes later.

“Everythin’ ok, sweetheart?” he asks gently, lowering himself to the grass next to you.

You lean your head onto this shoulder.

“Yeah,” you sigh. “Just… memories.”

“Not happy ones, I’m guessin’?”

“Not really, no.”

“I don’t know what’s goin’ on with those two, but it ain’t good.”

You lace your fingers through Joel’s and stroke his knuckles gently. His strong, work-roughened hands make yours look even softer and more delicate. You love the contrast. You sit side by side for a few quiet minutes admiring how your hands fit together.

“Just have to get through the rest of today and tomorrow and hope it’s salvageable,” you sigh.

“I reckon it will be. I’m layin’ a floor. There are sure to be extra shots of my rear end.” You bury your face in his shoulder to stifle your laughter.

“You’re a good sport, you know.” You rest your chin on his shoulder.

“I do know,” he says, giving you a kiss on the forehead.

“I can’t wait until tomorrow night,” you say, looking up at him through your lashes. His warm, chocolate brown eyes a soothing balm to your aching heart.

“Neither can I,” he rasps.

You spend Friday morning on the phone confirming material deliveries for next week’s shoot. When you arrive at set after lunch, Patty, the director, makes a beeline for you.

“We have a problem.” Patty doesn’t mince words. “Teresa stormed off, Marcus followed after her, we need to get them back to finish this thing. Joel is setting up to film his bit on installing quarter round, but I need them soon.”

You take a deep breath in and exhale slowly through your nose. The cast wrangling parts of your job as producer were usually fun – getting to meet new people, hear their stories, and make their houses beautiful – but today wasn’t going to be one of the fun ones.

“I’ll take care of it,” you assure her as your make your way in the direction she indicated.

You find Marcus first. He’s pacing on the side of the house, tugging at the back of his neck, tension rolling off him in waves.

“Hey, Marcus,” you start, tentatively, “what’s going on?”

“I don’t understand,” he turns to you looking panicked, his tidy brown hair ruffled and eyes wide, “I’ve given her everything she wanted. Why is she upset?” He runs his hand through his hair and drags it down his face.

“Let me talk to her,” you pat him soothingly on the shoulder. “Why don’t you get something to drink and try to relax for a bit.”

Marcus bobs his head in agreement and makes his way toward the craft services table. You continue around the back of the house and spot Teresa at the back fence.

You make your way over and lean on the fence beside her.

“It was all so romantic,” she says, looking into the distance at nothing in particular. “I don’t know what changed or when… am I crazy for not wanting this?”

“I don’t know,” you answer honestly. There are no easy answers and you are in no place to give them even if there were.

You both stand in silence watching leaves fall from the trees.

You hate what you’re about to say, but it’s your job to say it. “I’m really sorry I have to ask this of you, but we need to finish filming the show.” Her shoulders visibly slump. “There’s only the reveal left, then we will be out of your way, and you can figure things out with Marcus.”

“You’re right,” she sighs.

“I’ll go find him and tell him that you’ll explain later. You can take a few more minutes.” She nods and you make your way back towards the house – and Marcus – with a knot in the pit of your stomach.

“Is there anything you can’t do, Joel Miller?” you tease as you push your empty plate away from you. He met you at his door with a glass of chilled white wine before presenting you with a dinner of grilled chicken and angel hair pasta with tomatoes, basil, and parmesan cheese. It was absolutely delicious and just what you needed after the tense afternoon on set. “It’s really not fair that you can cook too.”

“I can make a few things, but I’m no chef,” he replies, blushing to the tips of his ears. “I’m glad you liked it.” He stands up from the table. “Come watch the sunset with me.” He beckons you to follow him to the couch.

You sink down beside him and lean your back up against his broad frame with a sigh. “What a day. I just feel so sad for both of them.”

“I know. Better now than later though,” Joel murmurs against your hair.

“True.” The warmth of his body seeps through your blouse and you snuggle in closer to him. The two of you sit in relaxed silence watching the sky turn orange and pink through the window.

“I know we had plans tonight, but I don’t want…”

“I am ok. I promise,” you assure him. “It was… difficult… watching them and reliving some of those memories, but I’m ok. I am so much happier now. And not just because of this,” you squeeze his thigh, “I was happy already. You’re a bonus.”

“I’m glad to hear it.” He nuzzles at your ear and drags his nose down the side of your neck, sending shivers down your spine. He places a kiss at the juncture of your shoulder before kissing his way back up to your ear.

You moan and melt into him. He seems determined to go slow, building your desire bit by bit, and you’re tempted to let him. It’s definitely working. But when he takes your earlobe between his teeth you snap – it’s too much. Slow is overrated. You spin yourself around and up onto his lap, straddling his thighs.

You swallow his sounds of protest as you take his mouth in a bruising kiss, panting when you finally come up for air. You lift the hem of your shirt up over your head and toss it aside, revealing your favorite yellow lace bra.

“You’re… sunshine…” Joel breathes reverently, staring up at you with lust blown eyes, hands full of your ass. You start unbuttoning his shirt. “I said I wanted to take my time with you,” he argues as you spread the soft fabric wide, revealing his chest and stomach.

His body is strong from a lifetime of hard work. Every muscle earned and used, not just for looks. But my oh my does he look good. The planes of his chest glow in the soft light filtering in through the window. Beautiful.

“I know you did, but what about what I want to do with you?” you wink as you drag your fingernails down his smooth skin watching goosebumps rise in their wake. He gasps as you scrape over his flat nipples.

You slide off his lap, onto the floor between his legs, and start unbuttoning his jeans.

“You… you don’t….” You quiet him with a look. His chest rises and falls rapidly as he watches you free his thick, heavy cock. You take him in your hand and stroke from base to tip, swirling a drop of precum over the head with your thumb.

You watch Joel watch your movements, jaw dropped and panting, and you smile with how good it feels to make him feel like this.

Your laughter dies away as heat floods your core. “Yes, please.”

Joel strides purposefully up the stairs, pulling you along behind him. His bedroom is decorated in burnt oranges, dark greens, and reclaimed wood. It’s distinctly him.

He unwraps you like a present, worshiping each newly exposed bit of skin, until he has you bare and spread out on his bed. Just where he wants you.

The first swipe of his tongue through your folds has you levitating off the bed. He soothes you back down with firm hands on your hips until the tension leaves your body and you melt into his ministrations.

It’s never felt quite like this before.

Summary: After working at an award show for 2 years everything had become normal, idols were no longer exciting to see, performances became dull and every day blended together, that was until an unexpected man asked for your help.

You shuffled around one another for a few minuets, your earlier excitement bubbling down to a mere nervousness as you watch him take a seat him not quite opposite but not quite beside you.

You glance over him quickly, you weren’t up to date on all the luxury brands but you could tell his shoes alone probably cost your entire rent for a month.

“Is everything okay?” When he laughs it’s light, soft as though not to startle you from wherever he believed your thoughts had escaped too.

You wave your hand dismissively. “I’m fine, where do you want to start?”

“Wherever you think, you’re the teacher after all.”

Oh yeah, I’m the teacher.

“How about we try to have a simple conversation with the English you know? That was I could grasp what stage you’re at and where we need to focus to help you improve.” You suggest, leaning against the backrest of your chair.

He nods enthusiastically, you weren’t sure wether it was done to help quell your own worries, that you were sure you’d put on display within the past few minuets, or because unlike the majority of the population he was genuinely excited to learn.

Either way you were grateful.

Being bilingual you had always been asked what it was like to switch between languages, people never understood it was something that could just happen. You’d definitely made mistakes before, integrating Korean and English into a conversation without meaning too.

Switching to English was easy. “Can you introduce yourself?”

He took a breath clearing his throat. “I am jhope of BTS.”

“Can you tell me your favourite colour?”

“Colour?” You nod and he Humms. “I like green.”

“Great, now ask me something.”

He thinks for a moment before responding, stumbling a few times before successfully asking. “What is your favourite food?”

“Samgyeopsal, what do you like about being an artist?” You decide to make the question a little different, something more difficult.

“I like connecting with our army, producing too. I like my art and to dance.” He finished with a smile and for a moment it felt as if you were almost one of those ghastly English interviewers.

You make a few notes on the words he takes longer to respond with before continuing an array of questions for the next hour, most of which are simple enough for him to understand and respond too even if it takes him a second to think or act the word out, something you were sure he had done to help you understand more. He had a basic grasp on English and that was an amazing place to start, much easier than it would have been had he have known nothing.

You make a small list of things he had told you he finds useful in terms of studying, flash cards and bright colours being two of them.

It made you laugh just how similar your study patterns were, he was someone who likes organisation, a different colour for a different thing. You were the same.

You agreed to end the lesson, having all the information you needed for the day to construct a much better plan for the future.

He fiddles with his hands as you clean the room, his voice almost insecure when he asks. “So how did I do?”

You turned on your heel to face him, sending him a reassuring smile before telling him he had done well.

He waited at the door for you, holding it open.

Such a gentleman.

Due to the company being mid move renovations weren’t complete, tools had been left around in various locations so you had been keeping an eye out, you’d done so well throughout the day to not create any issues.

Until now at least.

By the time you noticed you had knocked the open pot of paint over it was already too late, the grey staining the expensive material on Hoseoks shoes.

Shoes you couldn’t even afford.

You scrambled around to grab a packet of wipes that had been left beside the door frame, pulling out more than necessary before you drop to your knees in a rush to try and salvage the footwear “Fuck I am so sorry, god I didn’t see.” Your hands are already scrubbing and scooping as much paint as possible, you weren’t sure if it was helping at all but you couldn’t give up. “Who leaves a pot of paint in the open, actually who leaves an open pot in the open. I’m so sorry, I-“ you pause for a second, humility befalling you as your head drops to face the floor, your hands resting in your lap, paint soaked clothes still clutched between them. “I can’t afford to replace these, I could pay you back out of my pay check every month until you have enough for a new pair. I’m so sorry.” You bargained with a pay check you weren’t even sure you’d still be receiving after this mess.

You felt your heart die inside of you when he began to speak. “They were expensive shoes, that’s all. Nothing worth stressing over. Besides I got them for free when we were at a photo shoot. Don’t worry about it. Besides you didn’t put the paint there, you aren’t responsible.”

Oh.

“I really can pay you from my pay check, I should have been more careful. It’s principle.” You look up, an action you regret instantly when you realise the compromising position you’re in.

You on your knees, in front of him, your face almost equal with his crotch. Great.

He extends a hand to you which you take, using him to pull yourself up.

“Let me take these.” He slips the soaked clothes from your hands before walking across the hall, throwing them in the trash.

You don’t know what else to do, wrecked with humiliation and guilt you give him a small bow whispering a meek. “Thank you.”

“Don’t be so formal with me, I said it’s okay. You, however, are not. Your shirt is covered I should have a spare one in my studio if you’d like it?” He offers, pointing down the hall at one of the doors decorated in bright colours.

You nod, you hadn’t even noticed the state you were in. “If it’s not too much of a bother that would be great, I can wash it and return it then next time I come.”

“That’s fine don’t rush.” He guides you down the hall, meeting in the code to his studio before stepping aside and letting you in.

You were unsure how but this room seemed to captivate the very being you had understood Hoseok to be in the limited time you had with him.

You looked around careful not to touch anything, if the shoes weren’t meaningful you were sure the kaws bears definitely were.

“Here.” He shouts, throwing the shirt in your direction.

You grab it before it can fall, it’s orange, bright orange. “You like bright colours?

“Is that even a question?” He retorts playfully, signalling a hand around his studio.

You laugh. “I guess not, thank you again and I’m really sorry.”

“Don’t be, I’d let you ruin my shoes every day as long as you keep teaching me English. It really helped.” He says with a deepened sincerity.

It was nice to know you’d done something right, you still couldn’t beat the guilt and humiliation though. “I should probably get going, our class was supposed to finish thirty minuets ago. I’d hate to make you late for something.”

“You wouldn’t be a bother, I could show you the rest of the building if you’d like?” He offers.

You nod in agreement, it’s not like you had anything else to do. “Sure, that would be nice.”

“Let me just change my shoes and then I’ll show you where you can change your shirt.” He explains, heading towards a small shelving unit in the corner.

You shuffle awkwardly for a few seconds, with nothing to do it’s easy for your gaze to linger on him as he moves around. He slips his shoes off shoving them in a plastic bad before replacing them with some slippers.

He jumps up, landing softly on his feet. “All done, let’s go.”

You laugh, mumbling a thanks as he holds the door open for you. He guides you to the restrooms, where you promptly switch your shirt for his. You’re thankful there’s no cameras so the image of you smelling his shirt will never resurface, besides so what if you sniffed it, it smelt nice.

You didn’t rush per se but you did move quicker than you would have had Hoseok not been waiting.

It was rude to make others wait, nothing else.

You throw your ruined shirt in the trash before washing your hands, you didn’t look too bad considering you tossed and turned for half of the night.

You were greeted with a warm smile as you opened the door.. “Is Samgyeopsal really your favourite food?”

“Yes it is, my eomma makes it all the time.” You follow behind him a few steps, not wanting to get lost.

He holds a door open to you, leading to a staircase. “My eomma cooks a lot too, she always tells me to bring the members so they can put on weight.”

“Thank you, do you get to go home a lot?” You ask.

There’s a sullen look across his eyes as he shakes his head. “No, I try to but work is busy.”

“Forgive me if this is too forward, don’t answer it if it bothers you but what is it actually like to be an idol?”

He leads you upstairs, once again allowing you to go first. “It has its ups and downs, I enjoy it for the most part but when fans become too intrusive it can become hurtful. It makes it harder to have moments where it’s safe for me to see my family. That’s the downfall. Stress comes with every job, so does exhaustion not to mention overtime.”

“Tell me about it.” You scoff, remembering all the nights you’d been held back due to some internal issue.

He laughs, opening another door for you. “Bad experience?”

You cross through it quickly, this hall much different to the last. “My last job wasn’t great, a lot of things and people depended on me.”

“I hope it’s better here, I’ll try to be a good student. Scouts honour.” He holds up three fingers, a very American thing to do.

“You weren’t a scout.” You laugh.

He raised an eyebrow. “And how do you know?”

“I don’t know much about you behind the screen but I did once see a compilation of you screaming at bugs.” You admit, gouging him a pointed look.

He side eyes you. “You watch bts compilation videos?”

“My cousin does, she’s 9.” You explain, not wanting him to get the wrong idea.

“I could sign something for her if you’d like?”

It was safe to say you were touched by the gesture. “Oh, no that’s okay. I couldn’t afford it and I wouldn’t want you to put yourself out.”

He laughs, pulling a pen from his pocket. “It’s my signature, not an appearance at a birthday party.”

“Unless you want to sign my hand…I don’t have anything for you to sign.”

“I do, come in here”. He tilts his head to the door behind you, his key card having full clearance to enter.

You didn’t know much about collecting Kpop albums, let alone BTS albums but you knew that the items in the room were worth a pretty penny. The walls had inbuilt shelves, albums, DVDs and other various merchandise all displayed on it. Multiple copies of each seemingly dating back to the day bangtan debuted.

“Wow.” You breathed, genuinely taken back.

He laughs, grabbing an album off the shelf before signing the front page. “It’s something the company did for us as a surprise when we changed buildings. There’s stuff in here I had no knowledge of even existing.” He hands you the album. “This is for your cousin. I left a little note inside.”

You take it slowly, afraid to somehow damage it. “She’s going to cry.”

“Adorable.” He chuckles. Pulling some things from the shelves. “Give her these too.”

“Thats too much.” You decline, eyeing the two DVDS and 3 BT21 plushies he shoves into a Hybe bag.

He shakes his head. “Nonsense, we get it all for free.”

“You really do want to see her cry don’t you?” You laugh, you truly meant that he had already given you so much.

You were slightly worried about everyone getting the wrong idea, you didn’t want anyone to think you were using him.

Before you could voice your objection once again he was already opening the door, bag in hand. “Let’s take all this back to my studio, there’s a few more things I think you’d enjoy.”

He’d already done so much, the least you could do was accompany him.

So you did.

You spent another hour exploring the Hybe building before he announced that he had in fact ordered food, insisting you eat with him.

The conversation between you both was easy, floating from one topic to another. The conversation never becoming too serious or invasive but personal enough for you to both understand each other a little better. He shared things about his time as a trainee as you did about studying abroad and your childhood.

By the time dinner was over it was already 6pm, 4 hours past the time you were supposed to wrap up the day.

Still he didn’t complain as he walked you to the private exit, waving to you as you were driven off.

It may have been a messy first day, but it was a first day you were sure you would remember forever.

As Molly arrived at the cinema for the girls' night out, she was met by Garcia, JJ, and Savannah, who were accompanied by another woman.

Garcia enthusiastically introduced her, saying, "Molly, meet Tara. She just joined the BAU team this week."

"Oh and Tara, this is Molly, Spencer's girlfriend! They met at JJ's baby shower, and she's an elementary school teacher and she also gives piano lessons and is a phenomenal cook. And let me tell you, Spencer is sooooo in love with her!" Garcia gushed, her words flowing with enthusiasm.

The girls burst into laughter, charmed by Garcia's animated introduction.

Molly blushed at the attention but couldn't help but join in the light-hearted atmosphere, grateful for the warm welcome.

As the group left the cinema, the lively chatter about the romance movie they just watched continued. The decision was made to extend the evening with dinner and drinks.

Seated at the table, the group decided to indulge in margaritas, each person placing their order with excitement for the evening ahead, except for JJ who, being very much pregnant, opted for a non-alcoholic beverage. The clinking of glasses and the laughter around the table set the tone for a night.

JJ, decided to inquire. "So, what about the boys? What do you think they're up to right now?" she asked, her curiosity evident.

"Will's holding down the fort at home. It's probably a mix of video games and homework for him and Henry. Oh, and Molly, thanks again for the piano lessons. Henry's been diligently practicing every day without any nudges. You've truly sparked a newfound passion in him."

Molly beamed, genuinely pleased. "I'm thrilled to hear that! Consistent practice is the key to musical growth! It warms my heart to know he's enjoying it! That's what matters the most!"

Savannah joined in, sharing the latest from her world, "Derek's been practically living in a cloud of sawdust lately. He decided it was the perfect time to renovate one of the rooms at our place. I'm just hoping he doesn't turn our home into a total construction zone!"

Molly considered the question, smiling as she imagined Spencer in his usual reading nook. "Well, knowing Spencer, he's probably lost in a book or maybe working on some research. That's his idea of a perfect evening," she replied, a fondness evident in her voice.

He had shared with her details about his previous relationships, including Ethan, Elle, that actress Lila, and some crushes.

However, the name Meave was unfamiliar to her. JJ noticed her puzzled expression, but Molly decided to address it with Spencer later. She didn't want to pry into his past by questioning his now slightly inebriated friends.

For the time being, she chose to enjoy the rest of the dinner and the drinks.

After hours of laughter, shared stories, and a few margaritas, the girls bid each other goodnight outside the restaurant.

Molly, feeling a bit tipsy and with thoughts of Spencer swirling in her mind, decided to give him a call. As she dialed his number, her tipsy state made her more candid.

"Hey, Spencer," Molly said, her voice slightly slurred. "I miss you."

Spencer, recognizing the change in her tone, asked, "Are you drunk?"

Molly giggled, "No! Just tipsy. I'm fine. What are you doing?"

Molly rolled her eyes playfully. "Of course you are! I'm not far from your apartment. Can I come by? I really miss you."

Spencer, smiling at her words, said, "Sure, I'd love that. Do you want me to come get you?."

"No. I'm fine. I'll be there in 10!"

As Molly made her way to Spencer's apartment, the city lights seemed to dance around her, and the tipsiness gave everything a warm glow. She couldn't wait to be in Spencer's company again.

Feeling the effects of the margaritas, she ambled through the city streets towards his place. Her steps were a bit unsteady, but her excitement and eagerness to be with him fueled her pace. T

As she navigated the familiar route to Spencer's apartment, her mind buzzed with thoughts of being in his arms, feeling the safety and comfort of his presence.

She quickly ascended the stairs to the second floor, reaching apartment 23 spurred her forward.

Spencer, hearing the brisk steps approaching, opened the door just in time to welcome Molly. "Hi," he greeted her with a warm smile.

"Hi!" Molly replied, a huge grin on her face, slightly out of breath.

"Did you run here?" Spencer inquired.

"What? No, I walked. Fast," she clarified with a chuckle. "Can I come in?"

Spencer laughed and ushered her inside, quickly getting her a glass of water. "Did something happen?" he asked, concern in his eyes.

"No, I was just walking fast," Molly reassured him, taking the glass of water from his hand.

"How much did you drink?"

"Just two," Molly admitted, taking a sip of the water.

Molly's heart raced as she remembered the name Garcia dropped—Meave. An unsettling mix of curiosity and anxiety swirled within her.

Why had Spencer never mentioned Meave before? The unease intensified, pushing Molly to confront her fear.

"S-Spencer," Molly stammered, the question tinged with apprehension. "Garcia mentioned someone named Meave. She didn't say anything... I don't know who she is but Penny said her name when we talked about you and...umm...who is she? I mean, why... haven't you told me about her before?"

He hesitated for a moment, his gaze flickering between Molly's expectant eyes and the floor beneath him.

He knew he couldn't evade her question, not when she looked at him with such earnest curiosity. Taking a deep breath, he began to explain, his words measured and careful.

"Meave was... She was a geneticist, and we first connected through emails and then phone calls. She was helping me with my migraines, I had at the time and... she was helping me out with that.

But it turned into more than just medical advice... we ended up chatting about everything. The weird part is... we never met face-to-face.

Meave had this stalker problem, and it kept us from meeting in person. It was tough because we got pretty close despite the distance. She didn't want my team to get involved, worried it would make things worse.

I respected her wishes, but it left me feeling pretty helpless... I know you can't actually get to know someone and fall in love with them for real if you've... never even been in the same room together but.... I wish I could turn back time and... at least save her."

Spencer went on to share the entire story, laying out all the details of the case and Meave's tragic death.

Molly couldn't help but feel a deep sadness for what he had endured. The thought of witnessing someone you love passing away was a nightmare, and she struggled to comprehend how Spencer managed to move forward after such a traumatic experience.

When Spencer finally expressed his apologies for not sharing this part of his past earlier, Molly responded with understanding and reassurance. "Spence, it's okay. I get it." she comforted him.

Spencer, feeling the weight of his decision to keep it to himself, admitted, "Yeah, but I should have told you. I've shared everything else with you. It's just... I'm so scared. I mean, I would never let something happen to you, but what happened with Meave..."

Molly interrupted gently, "It wasn't your fault."

Spencer continued, "I honestly just didn't want to scare you. I wanted to take a risk and not push you away because of my fears.

I can't be stuck in that, and I was scared that if you knew what happened with my previous girlfriend or... almost girlfriend, you'd look at me and my job differently and leave.

Because, trust me, I get it. It's scary. And I wouldn't blame you if you didn't want to be involved in this."

Spencer, with tears in his eyes and a slight tremor in his hands, felt Molly's comforting touch as she held his hand and gently kissed his cheek.

In an attempt to lighten the heavy moment, Molly playfully declared, "I'm not scared. And I'm not going anywhere. Actually, I don't know if you know this, but I am the bravest girl in this world. And I'll never let anyone kill me."

Her lighthearted comment elicited a genuine laugh from Spencer, but the weight of the conversation lingered.

Molly, noticing Spencer still sniffling with tears streaming down his cheeks and his hand on his lips, reassured him with sincerity, "I'm not going anywhere. I like you a bit too much Spencer Reid."

Leedie life update: I'm thinking about doing something to get Air (I don't open windows almost at all and the construction on this building implies you either have do that or you should have old wood windows with fractures in the wood that let the Air in. In the last ~25 years everyone upgraded to Windows That Keep You Warm/Without Holes In Them, and now stuck with the need to open them 1 time a day at minimum (documentation says ideal would be once every 3 hours for 15 minutes, but no one has time for that)

So I've been looking into options! First glance told me that it's:

1) (relatively) Cheap option - you make a hole in your room, put a Small Box that has fan+heater+filters on it and call it a day

Good: very clean Air in, no need to touch windows

Bad: even the quietest models go wrroom wrroom, so if you have trouble sleeping (like me), sucks to be you

2) Man Oh Man You Are Made Of Money option - put a Big Box in another room that has one of the walls looking at the street (usually balcony), put a bunch of ventilation shafts from it to adjascent rooms you need air in, get electric cables to feed the Big Box - boom! Many airs, quiet, no need to do anything! Maybe change filters once in 6-12 months

Good: VERY many good Airs, very quiet

Bad: PRICE IS BIG OW. Requiers a little renovation to put holes and shafts (hehe) where they need to be and to put energy lines down to feed the hungry box. Also if the rooms you need air in are not adjascent to the Big Box room, it becomes 10x harder to do it properly

3) Did You Inherit The Emerald Mine Or Something option - go all in. Big box go in one room, shafts to getting the air in and then getting it out. Electricity costs to feed Big Box go way down, requires Big Renovation of the entire flat, absolute air control, can put Big Box anywhere since you are making all these shafts anyway

Good: Many Airs. All the Airs. Control over all the Airs. Price to feed Big Box goes way down

Bad: YOU CAN BUY NEW (small) HOME FOR THIS PRICE

I very much wanted option 1 to work, but looking at how I disable all the quiet devices every night I realized it was a path to sadness and plugging an extra hole later (not even in a sexy way)

So! Option 2. There's several models of the Big Boxes and I did not want to spend Many Moneys on something bad so I went into a rabbit hole of research crying over the fact that you can't trust reviews on product pages AND normal people dont buy Costy Big Boxes much, so there was little to no reviews anyway

AND THEN. SALVATION.

Apparently there's a forum of Geeky Manly Mans who discuss technology. And in there there's a section for discussing household appliances

7 ENOURMOUS THREADS FULL OF WAYS TO GET MANY AIRS TO YOUR HOME. 7 (SEVEN)!!! Because they talked so much previous 6 threads ran into post limits

I did not go through them all (the old ones are like 10 years old and so may be out of date), but I've read every message written in the last year and searched for the models. Learned a lot about different Small Boxes! Actually found out option 2 in here, because apparently "I don't want to use Small Box for Any Reason and Biggest Box costs more than I ever held or would have in my life" is a popular problem, and this forum is inhabited by industry professionals or experienced hands-on enthusiasts who dispense free advice , and it is acceptable and encouraged to ask for help

So I looked through a couple (a lot) of "need advice" posts, saw what information the Knowledge People ask for and put down HUGE post with all the information, my flat plan, what Small Boxes I looked into and why they are not for me and what Big Boxes I looked into and what questions/concerns I have on that, and the amount of moneys I am ready to spend on this

Look at the plan btw I had to spend like half an hour to google what the flats in my type of apartment building look like (I could spend 4$ to get High Quality Plans of my actual flat but who has this kind of money in this economy)

SO, I POSTED MY QUESTION YESTERDAY AND GOT 2 VERY IN-DEPTH ANSWERS ALREADY!!1!

First one listed a couple of options on how to get Airs:

1) Very cheap - dont buy the complete Big Box, get the fan, heater, filters I fancy and all the nitty bits on my own and then put the stuff together. He put it all in listed order with links and approximate prices, I was very impressed

Good: Cheapest option. As many Airs as a proper Big Box can give

Bad: Need to find someone who can put all this stuff together - and boy did he link details that needed some work, because the separate parts were not designed to fit together. I know that would be hard because a couple of companies, when I was searching for cheaper Big Boxes, flat-out told me they only work with stuff you buy from them (even if you got the same model, they wont touch it). Also, as with regular Big Box, this set-up needs you to put cables down to feed it. Also no remote control - you need to go there push buttons with your own hands like in Ye Olde Times if you need to change speed/heat

2) Costier but doable, basically: "Hey the room you want to put it in has old leaky wood windows, right? Change them to good windows so that the air wouldn't leak, put holes to your bedroom and the other room you go to, and put a Small Box there. Small Box will get Airs into that room and then through the holes to the places you actually need, no ventilation shafts required. Since Small Box will be considerable distance away and through the wall the noise shouldn't be an issue"

Option 1 is interesting if I ever do some renovation (I would be able to get cables there to feed the handmade Big Box Ensemble), but Option 2 is doable right now!! Small Box can just be fee through a regular socket!

The firstborn Dunsmore had a seemingly idyllic life during the earliest years of his own, or so his rose-tinted recollections still lead him to believe. Where there was a lack of money, there was an abundance of love doted on him by his parents that only grew with the arrival of his little brother.

It wasn’t until just after his seventh birthday when his baby sister arrived in the world did Ace learn his first of many of life’s harsh lessons: nothing stays good forever. Dylan’s birth was a joyous occurrence for the Dunsmore boys, but it wasn’t shared throughout the whole household. Even at his young age, he could see the shift in their mother and when she left for what was supposed to be a short trip to recuperate, he was the first member of the family to truly understand that she wouldn’t be coming back.

Without the tools to truly comprehend what that loss meant, Ace instead threw himself into being present as though it might make up for what their family was now missing. Any jobs that his father attempted to do around the house Ace was there to try and assist and learn from him. When his brother needed someone to teach him how to ride a bike while their father worked, Ace was the one who removed his training wheels and ran behind him when he finally got it.
