wada sez: Perhaps the most important Mosaic strip of all! Written by prolific Transformers scribe Simon Furman and published before the final issue of his Devastation series for IDW, which shows Hunter O’Nion first merging with Sunstreaker in Headmaster form, as seen here. TFWiki itself has a full write-up for this strip, so I won’t go into too much detail here. If one chooses to read Furman’s IDW run in a vacuum, ignoring All Hail Megatron (which, in quite typical comic-book fashion, tossed out a lot of what Furman had been working on and giving Hunter/Sunstreaker a much more tragic fate), you can kind of treat this strip as a coda to the story. Furman’s collaborators here are all industry professionals; Don Hudson did some Transformers work for Marvel US, while Richard Starkings was a letterer/editor on the comics and the writer of “Peace”.

This “America” that we know in our gut (those of us who live here) is a place at once filled with “the dream” and the hidden failure of it. Everything is at once charged and also slightly superficial, our icons fresh and new. The “cowboy”, the “carnival”, the “road trip”, the “Founding Fathers’. There’s nothing “ordinary” and yet everything is ordinary. I suppose that in a nation as new experiment, these dichotomies must be present. Everything must be loaded with contradiction in some sense.
Don Hudson’s book, “From the Archives”, is made from this American dichotomy. In a way, it is built out of charged material, made up of this “ordinary that is not really ordinary”, pieced together out of icons that exude from everything and everywhere, formed by the romantic that is embedded into the commonplace. The pictures are from Michigan during 1973-1987, a setting (and time period) that could be described as the epitome of that which is American and that which is “working class”.
Louis Vuitton: 'Patchwork' Collection Designed By: Kanye West (2009)
In 2009, Kanye West was known before as the 'Louis Vuitton Don'. Not only was Kanye known to wear some of the most famous pieces of the brand, but he also designed several shoes for the design house. As a result, was able to collaborate with the luxury brand on three different silhouettes. Each shoe was creatively named after important members of West’s closest friends, Ibn Jasper, Don C. and Mr. Hudson. The Louis Vuitton Don's, Jasper’s and Mr Hudson’s Patchwork offering exhibits a mixture of rose hued suedes and leathers on the sockliner with magenta flashes. The laces integrate a tassel design for an elegant look with gold bands. Coming in colors of, cream, white, black, red, purple, brown, pastel and pink.
Happy 99th birthday anniversary to the godfather of cinema Marlon Brando 🎉🎂
Speaking about working with Brando, Kilmer said:
“Brando was everything you want the major icon in your world to be, a genius and a gentleman. I was getting divorced at the time and he was so gracious about offering me time and considered thought. He offered to call my ex on behalf of the children.
“He was one of the funniest men on earth. I still laugh out loud about some of the things he said and did. I mean he literally wore a salad bowl over his head.
Here's Val's hilarious Brando impression 😂🙌 (from inside the actors studio interview)

Finding out different celebs are all related or close friends or next door neighbors is simultaneously bizarre and comforting. like, "oh yeah, big name actor was basically our uncle and their kids were like our cousins" and that's just normal life

Apparently Hazal had quite a few ideas for her music video, which included: looking sexy in the video, doing spectacular choreography and, above all, a good setting for the video.
Sarah: Thank you for coming to visit us Hazal! Honestly, I loved listening to your new album!
Hazal: You're welcome, friend, and also taking advantage of the fact that I'm here doing this reality show with Xander, the truth is I can't be more than happy about all this!
Don: Ohh I see, no wonder my wife couldn't stop talking about you so much Hazal!
----------
Hazal: the truth is I'm super excited because this video is going to be the sensation of the world!!, EVERYONE will love the choreography that I prepared with a lot of effort!!, there is no other pop girl who has done this!
Producer: But Hazal, haven't you seen the videos for Bianca Monty's "Dirrty" or Monique Dunnoff's "Overprotected"?
Hazal: Those little girls don't even know how to pronounce the alphabet properly and they are already releasing music, the last time I heard about them was around 2001 or 2000.
Producer: Well… This video will surely be too iconic!
Hazal: HAHAHA! Rest assured it will be like that!
