The only way camille’s character assassination will ever make sense to me is if she’s been secretly in love with Emily and was so overcome with her emotions that it made her temporarily crazy and lead her to act out of character!! Cause y’all may have moved on but I still live here…

After the boy died in Lance's arms, something in him had changed. Not just the fact that a person - who told him he was cancer free, ready to live the life he always wanted - died in his arms. Sweets seemed changed, like his goal in life had shifted.
„Lance. What are you doing here?“ Daisy asked, surprised as she saw Lance entering the platform.
„I came to offer my services,“ he explained, „Earthquakes can cause psychological trauma.“
„Yes. For you baby,“ Daisy interrupted him, „What you've been through-„
„I'm fine, Daisy.“
Cam looked at him with a worried look, „Sweets, you saw somebody die.“ Anyone could see she hit right in the spot, when Sweets looked at the ground.
„I know my Lancelot. You needed to see me, didn't you?“ Daisy stepped forward towards Lance, but he backed up just a little. „No, I'm just trying to do my job.“ he distanced himself.
„Oh.“ Daisy's gaze was obvious and not only Cam but Dr. Brennan could see it.
Easing the tension a little, probably unintentionally, Dr. Brennan addresses Sweets, „Booth told you to go home. He knows about things like this, Sweets.“. „We'll call if we need you, I promise. We'll have Hodgins drive you home.“ Cam added in a caring tone. Lance nodded in thanks, before turning around to leave the platform.
„Bye, Lancelot.“ Daisy tried, only earning a short wave from him and a gaze from Dr. Brennan.
She seemed sad when he left just like that, but right now, this was not what he needed. What he needed was-
You felt a chest bump against yours, looking up you saw Lance. „Sorry, Lance.“ You backed a step away from him to give him space. Lance just shook his head. You knew what happened just a few hours ago. You knew Lance. The corners of his mouth had dropped, and his eyes had lost their sparkle. His usually red lips were completely pale. Lance looked terrible, terribly haunted.
„I'm here if you want, you know. You can call me if you need anything, food, talking… or just to not be alone.“. Lance closed the space between you two and hugged you. You could feel his heart beat, his arms pressing you against his chest, and his face in the crook of your neck. He needed to bend down a little to do so.
You bedded your head against his collar bone and wrapped your arms tightly around his torso. Lance smelled of his perfume and the scent surrounded you. It made you feel… so many things. Safe, calm, even loved. You quickly tried to get that last thought out of your head. You knew he and Daisy broke up, but still, you two were so close you didn't want to challenge that if he wasn't feeling the same.
Tumblr media
„Note the victims clavicle.“ Brennan said. Daisy turned around as Cam added, „It's dented.“
„And blue.“ Daisy stated. „There's also a blue nick on the C7“. „Something blue pierced his clavicle and went through to the back of his neck.“ Cam added to what Brennan had said.
„That would've sliced through the carotid artery.“ she finished.
Brennan nodded, „Ms. Wick, take molds of the clavicle for a possible weapon, and swab the blue pigment for Hodgins.“ she instructed Daisy. But when Daisy turned around, she stopped short when she saw how Lance seemed to be holding on to you.
You seemed to steady him. She knew it was no longer going to work out between them, and she was glad you were able to give Lance what he needed, but it still ached. Dr. Brennan and Cam tracked her gaze. Cam smiled when she saw the two of you, but she also shared a sympathetic look with Dr. Brennan. They could all see how familiar you tow felt with each other.
„Thank you.“ Lance whispered against your neck, and you could feel a tear run down his face. „Please call me whenever you need me, no matter what time.“ you mumbled into his embrace. „Mhm, I will.“.
Once more Lance tightened his hug, before letting you go. Hodgins was already waiting for him at the entrance of the Jeffersonian to drive him home.
You looked after Lance, but you didn't dare to turn around. You knew that Dr. Brennan, Cam and Daisy were watching. And at that moment you realized just how intimate this situation had been.

It's that time of the year where Emily in Paris gets dropped and I rage watch it.
Look, I don't care how cute or adorable they try and paint Emily to be. There's nothing Lily Collins can do to make her tolerable to me - Emily is the worst!
Her and Gabriel have no chemistry and they need to stop pretending to be saints. God they are such assholes and are trying to gaslight everyone into believing that they're platonic. Alfie is SO much better and honestly he deserves so much better than Emily wasting his time ughh.
I'm sooo glad that Camille cheated (and got a taste of the rainbow while doing it 😉🌈). She deserved to have some fun since her shitty boyfriend wanted to be shitty...also I'm here for Gabriel getting his feelings hurt.
Sylvie is still fucking awful, and Luc is an idiot - honestly I don't understand how that entire company survives because they clearly rely on Emily for things to work and she's pretty much an idiot too. I don't care how much people fawn over her - her ideas are surface level and basic, it's embarrassing that everyone acts like she's a genius. Also the attempts to make Madeline a joke irritate the hell out of me. Ewww.
Honestly there isn't enough time in the world to type out everything I hate about this grlarbage Netflix show, but don't worry: we made a video about it!

I've started watching The X Files recently and I gotta say, I really like it. There's something about the specific genre of shows like Bones, Criminal Minds and also now The X Files that I just can't get enough of. Maybe it has something to do with the FBI? Who knows, the point is, they're very good, and I'd recommend all three.
Especially Bones. Criminal Minds is particularly well-known and The X Files is a cult classic with an instantly recognisable theme tune. But Bones, I fear, doesn't get the same love. The titular character, Dr Temperance Brennan (affectionately called "Bones" by her partner, Agent Seely Booth), is a forensic anthropologist and works for the FBI to identify bodies so decayed they've become skeletons. The nickname hopefully makes sense now. I've always identified with her and think she's a pretty fantastic female character.
Of course, Bones herself isn't the only interesting character, Booth is played by David Boreanaz who is most recognisable as Angel in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. The two often clash with their differing viewpoints but always seem to work together to save the day and catch the bad guy. Then there's Dr Hodgins, who really loves bugs and dirt, and Angela, who does facial reconstructions and Dr Saroyan who does all the fleshy bits Dr Brennan can't.
I could go on and on about Bones, but I wouldn't want to give away significant plot points and disway new viewers. You can stream it on Disney+ if you're interested.

i feel like you have an old oc or s/i that you never talk about anymore but still think about pretty often just for fun :]
(@sleuthinginstinct)
Hello, anon who is totally not Icarus =P
(source: this post by fkclou)
anonymously make an assumption about me and i’ll confirm/deny it - Some of the self-inserts on my carrd could almost definitely count for this one, hahaha (and because of that, I’m confirming this as true!)
I’ve talked myself into a tangle about this before, but I think my arguably oldest self-insert is Amber, one of my Skyrim self-inserts. I originally created her as part of a Minecraft RP, of all things - she was half-human, but also carried the blood of the Ender Dragon (giving her certain powers as a result), and the story was that she was seeking out other “half-Enders” like herself to stop the dragon invading the overworld, while the dragon was doing the same to try and get those same half-Enders on her side instead. I then started playing as her in Skyrim, because I realised that her concept of “sword-wielding girl with dragon blood fighting on the side of humans to stop the evil dragons” fit that game extremely perfectly. While I don’t really talk about her, especially not here since she isn’t connected to any of my F/Os, I do still think about her whenever I’m playing Skyrim, especially if it’s on her save file ^-^
(Incidentally, my other two self-inserts for Skyrim - Camille and Carmine - are also ones I think of as being pretty old. In Camille’s case, it’s because she again began as my character in an RP on a Minecraft server, though it was after the one I made Amber for - in it, she was a dream mage who gave the others support as they explored a mystical forest trying to save it from being tainted, only for it to have been revealed that she herself had been tainted all along. This origin is why she gets raised as an acolyte of Vaermina in Skyrim, since Vaermina is the Daedric prince of dreams. In Carmine’s case, she was established for Skyrim from the start, because I’ve played Skyrim since I was eleven years old and I liked playing as a Khajiit a lot because they’re cats - however, I didn’t really give her any particular lore of her own until after I started actively selfshipping and I decided she could be Inigo’s sister. Prior to that, she was just “how I played the game when I wanted to play as a thief”, not “my self-insert who I played as in the game” - which is why I don’t tend to think of her as the oldest self-insert. This logic is also true of Emily, my Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons self-insert - I’d played HMDS Cute since I was little, but I only actually gave her any kind of name or story as an outright self-insert after I started actively selfshipping in 2020, so I don’t think of her as being an old self-insert in the right way!)
My oldest OCs (that I can remember/still think about, at least) are my Splatoon ones, but I came up with those when I was in year 10, so they definitely came later than the fledgling self-inserts. However, a discussion about old self-inserts would be arguably incomplete without mentioning my main Kingdom Hearts self-insert, Aria - she was, I would say, the first instance of me actively giving lore and story to who I was playing as, from near the beginning of playing her game (so she was an outright actively-developed self-insert, and wasn’t just “how I played the game”). She’s also the first self-insert I used to actively express my love for a character (specifically Aqua), and establish story for a selfship with that character, in a way that wasn’t just “I like this character so I’m going to focus on them a lot while I play the game”. (This is why Aqua and Anti-Aqua are my only romantic F/Os where the start date of my selfship is before I made my first selfship blog in 2020). But I created Aria when I started playing KHUX in mid-2017, and the others already-mentioned existed prior to that, so she doesn’t quite count - and also, I talk about her a LOT, so she doesn’t count for your assumption for that reason either =P
..I don’t seem to be getting any less long-winded, do I? Apologies for writing so much; I wish it was this easy to write so much for all my lab reports and essays. Still, thank you for sending this assumption, and if you did take the time to read my very rambly answer, then a) thank you and b) I hope you enjoyed what you read!

how about spencer x badass reader and they are wearing couple or similar clothes intentionally or unintentionally?? I think that would be cutee
tysm for requesting ♡ fem!reader
"Are you kidding me?" Derek asks, sounding like a kid in a candy store, a crisp twenty in his back pocket.
Emily follows his line of sight and feels her cheeks apple unbidden, a delighted smile on her painted lips. "Oh, my god."
"Yeah, Garcia?" Derek asks, phone to his ear, Penelope first on his speed dial. "You need to come and see this. Like, right now. Don't worry, baby, just come and see it for yourself."
"I don't even know what to say." Emily stares at you.
You usually dress in line with the other women in this profession: pants that aren't too tight so you can run in if needed, a simple blouse, and a blazer if you're feeling formal.
Today, you've opted for something softer. It was a slow change, one day you were wearing a cashmere sweater, thin and fitted to your form. Another day, you chose to layer your shirt with a cardigan of a similar colour.
Right now? You're all Spencer. Your slacks remain unchanged but your blouse has been swapped for a shirt with a stiff starched collar and layered under what can only be described as a grandpa sweater. It's not quite ugly, but it's almost identical to Spencer's.
What's more, you've swapped your boots for converse.
Spencer holds the door for you. He's chosen to wear a tie at least, clinging to that last strand of professional business attire. He has two coffees, one in each hand, while you carry a box. He's all elbows as he talks to you, and you, ever his fan, follow every word with a fond smile.
"Hey, are you guys sharing a wardrobe now?" Derek asks, absolutely unwilling to hold back.
Emily piles on, "It's cute! You're totally an old married couple, you look like my grandparents."
"What happened to your boots, lovergirl?" Derek asks, nodding at your cons, arms crossed over the back of his chair casually. "Don't get me wrong, I'm loving the sneakers."
"You guys totally match," Emily coos. "You could be on a Christmas card."
You smile —you smile, Emily might just call the news— and walk past them to your desk. Hotch has moved you away from Spencer knowing you'll encourage his endless chattering, which places you on a different island of desks next to Anderson and Agent Camille.
Spencer put his coffee down on his desk, taking off his messenger bag. "Nice going, guys. She brought you donuts. You know, to apologise for calling you both antagonistic losers yesterday," he says, smiling at the mutual horror that crops up on their faces. "The fancy kind, too. She knew your favourite flavours without asking."
From her desk, Emily can see you've opened the box and offered them to your desk mates, your expression unperturbed. "Just don't touch the chocolate sprinkle ones, they're for Spencer," you say.
No matter what they say, how sorry they sound, you give out the donuts to anyone who'll take one until they're all gone. When Garcia arrives, she finds you sitting in your desk chair with your head leaning against Spencer's stomach, taking alternate bites of the same sprinkle-covered donut like it isn't the most domestic, coupley thing you could be doing.
Unlike Emily and Derek, Penelope genuinely thinks you look cute. "You guys are like Brangelina," she breathes, eyes wide, her smile infectious.
Spencer fails to hide a grin, his hand on your shoulder. You're better at controlling your emotion, sliding a small parcelled package across the desk toward her.
"Thank you, Pen," you say. "I like the shoes. They're comfy. And the sweater was a gift." Spencer nods enthusiastically.
That explains why you'd taken such an offence. Anything to do with Spencer raises your hackles. If you felt someone was making fun of his present to you, you'd defend him with your last dying breath, or, in this instance, punish your coworkers in his honour.
"I'm sorry," Derek apologises again, "I was kidding! What do you want me to do, you want me to wear a sweater vest too? I can do that."
You reach back to touch Spencer's side, levelling Derek with an impartial look. Not mad, not sad. Totally indifferent. "That could be a good start."
Spencer hums. "I think so. You wanna borrow one of mine?"
The barest hint of a smile plays on your lips. "That's generous, Spence. You're a philanthropist."
"I am." He strokes the slope of your sweater-clad shoulder proudly. "You know me, I love sharing my wardrobe."
