Watched all the Fallout TV today.
If you aren't familiar with the series then it's probably fine to watch. It was okay. It was just the games thrown into a blender and getting lucky it worked out.
As someone deep in the lore from fic writing, it was annoying to see lore ignored. The writers needed to play the games or look at any of the multiple wikis available.
And I'm just... so sick of the BOS. Like that's the only faction Bethesda knows exists. It's boring at this point.
Fallout 5 guaranteed to have the BOS because Bethesda no longer has any creativity and it is their cash brahmin.

international law
for those that don’t know, international law is defined as the norms of law which are valid for all states, according to ejil.org. international law includes treaties and policies that are set for the protection of human rights, war, the environment, and more. international law is very important for all leaders of the world to follow, and allows for there to be some sort of harmony between other countries.

omg this basil-ginger veggie stir fry with braised tofu was INCREDIBLE I can see this becoming a staple in my quick weekly dinner rotation. I used this recipe but doubled the sauce (except for the sugar), added a bunch of extra veggies + ginger + red pepper flakes + scallions, and made the tofu in the air fryer (my beloved). YUMMMMMMM. I want to check some labels as I suspect that the sauce mix might have a lot of sneaky added sugar (how else could it be soooo rich and decadent) but yeah this one is a KEEPER.

The Yi Bang-won, Seo Hwi and Nam Seon-ho love triangle (if that's how one likes to see them as. I do) truly has so much to make it extra delicious.
By the end of everything, one has killed both of the other's fathers. One killing is a later revealed secret that doomed the love before they even met, and the other killing was to spare another of them the torment of having killed the father of someone they love.
One of their fathers has held hostage and killed another's sister, which made the two families enemies to each other.
The same father also poisoned the one who lost his sister, destroying his health.
All of them have nearly fatally stabbed or tried to kill each other at some point.
Everyone has betrayed one another in some way.
The ultimate choice as to who will eventually be the one left behind happens during a scene in which one is pointing a drawn arrow towards another who has his sword pointed at the third one's throat.
Everything ends with two of them dying in each other's arms by the third one's command, while he cries and laughs a joyless laugh alone.
Yet the love is there, all the way to the end, even during the kill command. There's so much affection. Saving a life. Nursing to health. So much chemistry. Obsession. If I can't have you, no-one can. I'd rather you hate me than feel nothing towards me. I'd rather make you hate me than let you be in danger. Feelings that won't fade no matter what horrors may happen.

if you get this, answer w/ three random facts about yourself and send it to the last seven blogs in your notifs. anon or not, doesn't matter, let's get to know the person behind the blog !
A wizard is never late answering her asks, nor is she early, but she answers precisely when she means to.
I rolled relatively low on my constitution stat, and now most of my friends question how I'm still alive after (almost) 22 years of existence. (Am functioning well and in a good spot, don't worry).
I am decent on my intelligence stats as I study psychology and Spanish at my university. I even get to tutor a bit through one of the school programs that I'm heavily involved with (mainly spend a lot of time making memes and procrastinating doing my homework).
When I'm not working on my academic main quests (sigh), my sidequests (hobbies) often include journaling, hanging out in one of the rooms on campus with people, or reading (currently working my way through The Aeneid for school and also 1984 cuz free amazon book and I'm enjoying it so far.) I'd like to be able to crochet but only to the point where I can make those little stuffed animals I see everywhere to add to my growing collection of things that keep me happy (I kind of have many magpie tendencies)

I saw a post the other day that kinda pushed back on the way all coming of age movies are about sexuality and all high school stories basically center around who wants to fuck who and how that's like. Not really all coming of age and high school stories should offer since you know. Youth isn't about who you have a crush on and probably coming of age stories in particular should be far more diverse in subject matter than they are.
Honestly as someone who, when I was 'coming of age' age, hated coming of age stories and still do for the exact reason listed above (see the weird scene in It where we all sexualize a 13 year old girl because boys have crushes and surely there's no other way to portray this than feeling a child up with a camera to demonstrate boys have ~feelings~ Bev gets no equivalent scene because she's the object of affection rather than the subject feeling desire) I also wish there was diversity in those stories. And coming of age stories about adults- we don't stop going through huge life moments that change everything forever, but back to kids. When I was a kid I could have desperately used a coming of age story where the character has a sick and dying parent who does die by the end of the story and what happens after that. Granted I did just fine without it, but even without being asexual it's always irked me that coming of age stories don't seem to appreciate that kids have way larger problems and way better stories to tell then first crushes and first kisses for shit sake give kids who went through what I did as a kid some kind of story about what happens when your parent gets cancer and how complicated that is and stop assuming the biggest thing that happens around puberty is discovering sexuality that, if you were queer, you probably already noticed what you felt wasn't in a coming of age story anyway.

At some point, I really should take the time to actually write out how Andrii's universe works, especially with the next update happening soon... At least establish what the timeline is, since it's already been established that his Dottore doesn't follow the same timeline.
