And just to add in a little to that anon ask, I just wanted to speak from my heart a little more and this isn't fandom discourse, this counts as way more than that, this is speaking up for so many other's for feeling this way.

Don't let anyone make you feel bad for wanting validation, don't let anyone tell you it's an act of desperation like I was told, that if you reblog your art, you're desperate, or you just want attention and that's it.

Like, c'mon we all want attention, we all want validation, it's such a human feeling, you'd only be fooling yourself if you denied it.

Numbers can be very overwhelming. Someone gets more numbers than you? It can make you feel low, because I felt it a lot, and sometimes I still feel it.

You know, my photostories I put days, even weeks into often do the worst.. Sometimes I'm hesitant to post, because I have this sudden motivation to make a photostory, and I feel so proud and than it doesn't do too well. I see other photostories get hundreds of notes, so why doesn't mine? These are thoughts that fuck with my brain constantly.

The shippy stuff too and I will not dig into that ever again, but it's the same thing, it's what I'm the most passionate about, like Vaughn, Goro, photostories that don't do as well as say a portrait of my fem V's. And yes over time they do get more notes, the numbers start to rise, but I still feel that itch of sadness, and it isn't all the time, because I do so appreciate all the love and support and the tags mean so fucking much to me, as I'm sure most people feel the same way. We are humans, we crave interaction, we crave validation, we crave this need to feel wanted and I really don't see an issue with it as long as it's not running your entire life, as long as you're aware and are trying to do better by not allowing it to run you. Because like someone said, if it stops being fun, than that's when it's a serious problem.

You are not too young to have endometriosis. Endo can start with puberty. The research saying it starts later in life like 20s and 30s is false. I developed symptoms at the age of 11. I’ve had chronic pain from it since the age of 15 because no one wanted to diagnose and treat me. Finally got a diagnosis at 17. Will most likely be getting a hysterectomy at 26.

i described my phantom wings once and got called schizophrenic and accused of having a god complex by two separate people (the one who called me schizophrenic was trying to defend me even, which is absolutely baffling because how the hell was your first thought to diagnose me without even knowing me, and you were AWARE you didn't know me and yet you made it look like you knew me while defending me to the other person)

but the actual psychologist whom i talked to about it only made sure it wasn't a full-on delusion that causes me to endanger myself, and once she's certain that i am aware i do not physically have wings she moved on from the topic

we need more awareness in this world, not just otherkin awareness, but also the awareness in the general public of how fucking dense they are cause holy shit
