“Max,” Daniel calls to him from the bedroom, just as he is rinsing the shampoo from his hair. Not wanting shampoo in his eyes or his mouth, Max keeps them all firmly shut.

“Baby?” Daniel says again, louder.

The warm water is a gentle relief running over his sweat sticky skin, nowhere near the scalding temperatures Daniel sets their shower to at home. It’s why Max had insisted that they clean off separately, the Austin heat far too much for Max to endure boiling water too, despite Daniel’s pouting and dramatic insistence that Max couldn’t just ‘fuck and flee.”

“Yes,” he calls when all the suds are safely sliding past his shoulders, but he didn’t need to shout. When he opens his eyes he sees Daniel leaning against the doorway with a smirk, still wearing his unbuttoned satin shirt, cowboy hat and nothing else. His wedding ring sits heavy on his finger, and Max thumbs over the matching one on his own hand.

Max’s come is a shiny presence he can still see smeared between Daniel’s thighs.

The sight of him makes Max’s dick twitch. Daniel notices and his grin only widens.

“Baby,” he says again, too sweet. “Baby, why is your most recent Google search is it weird that my husband saying yeehaw makes me come?”

And just like that, Max suddenly longs for a hot shower, an excuse for why his cheeks start to burn red.

“Why are you snooping through my phone?” He demands, forcing himself not to turn away casually and instead keep rubbing the hotel’s own body wash under his armpits.

“I wasn’t snooping,” Daniel says easily, “I was looking to get us some ribs delivered, my phone died at the track, remember?”

Max makes a noncommittal noise because vaguely he does remember Daniel saying he needed to put it on charge. That was before Max started pawing at him the moment the hotel door shut behind them though, and then it had been forgotten by both of them.

There’s just the noise of the extractor fan whirring for a moment, but Daniel doesn’t move. When Max sneaks a glance at him, he’s still leaning against the door frame looking amused.

“Sooo.” He drawls out the word in the stupid Texas accent that Max wishes he didn’t find so strangely sexy. “Are we going to talk about this, little lady, or-“

“Nope,” Max says firmly, turning off the shower.

Daniel nods. It makes the lights of the bathroom catch on his chain and Max- Max really wants to fuck him again.

“What about the one below it?” He asks, “Daniel Ricciardo Austin 2023 photos?”

“Nope,” Max says again, stepping out of the shower and reaching for his towel. He’s smiling now too, because he knows that beneath Daniel’s teasing that one will have made him happy to see.

“Okay,” Daniel says, then he unlocks Max’s phone. “What about how to ask my husband to-“

“Daniel,” Max interrupts, taking the phone from his hand and putting it into the empty sink. “Do you want to read more of my internet history, or do you want to get back on the bed and play good cowboy, bad cowboy again?”

Daniel grins, takes the cowboy hat from his head and puts it onto Max’s. When his arms wind around Max, the silky fabric of his shirt presses cool against Max’s shower-warm skin, his nipples.

“Well, when you put it like that,” Daniel says, leaning in to put his mouth on the skin just beneath Max’s ear. “Yeehaw, baby.”

Max laughs and pinches Daniel’s ass, at the same time as his dick twitches again. Backing him out of the bathroom, towards the bed, his phone is forgotten in the bathroom.

Hermione is the name of the French frigate with which the Marquis de La Fayette returned to Boston in 1780 to support the American colonists in their fight for independence. The ship was completed in 1779 in the naval arsenal of Rochefort in a construction period of just eleven months, based on plans by Henri Chevillard and identical in construction to three other ships (la Courageuse, la Concorde, la Fée). She also carried six or eight six-pounder guns. The empty weight was 1166 tonnes, the hull length 44.2 m, the overall length 65 m, the width 11.55 m and the depth 5.78 m. A sail area of more than 1500 m² was spread over three masts.

She experienced several battles and when the First Coalition War broke out on 20 April 1792, the Hermione returned to active service under Captain Martin. From 7 May 1793, she escorted convoys between Bayonne and Brest. In September 1793, she was tasked with escorting a convoy between the Loire estuary and the streets of Brest. On 20 September 1793, she ran aground off Le Croisic. The Hermione had a serious leak in the hull and could not be refloated in the receding tide. The crew threw 12 cannons and anchors overboard to stabilise the ship. The rising sea lifted the Hermione for a while, but she was so damaged that she could no longer pump water and sank to the bottom, where her hull began to disintegrate. At 1000 hours the next morning, Martin evacuated his crew in several fishing boats that had come to the rescue, salvaging as much equipment as possible, and was the last to leave the frigate.

The court martial that followed the wreck found the frigate's pilot, Guillaume Guillemin du Conquet, responsible for the frigate's loss; its commander, Captain Martin, was honourably acquitted.

A replica of the frigate has been under construction in a dry dock at the former Rochefort naval arsenal since 1997. As the original construction plans had been burnt for safety reasons, new plans had to be drawn up. The plans of a sister ship from the British Naval Museum, the Concorde, served as a model. The reconstruction of the Hermione was financed in part by the proceeds from the survey, grants from the French government and the EU as well as donations.

After its completion, the Hermione was launched in 2014. She left her building dock in early September 2014 for initial sea trials off the French Atlantic coast and sailed to North America in 2015, where she stayed for four months before sailing back. From 2 February 2018, the Hermione undertook a second major sea voyage from Rochefort to the Mediterranean via Tangier, Sète, Marseille and Toulon.

Here is what the American website said about Jacob, from at least July 13th, 2017, to February 7th, 2020:

THE SOLDIER JACOB SEED “Preparedness through pain.” This is Jacob’s mantra. As the Cult’s recruiter and former Army marksman, big brother Seed’s main duty is protecting the Project at Eden’s Gate.

On or before March 27th, 2018, a video was added. The text didn’t change.

Commentary

I probably would have said Jacob’s mantra either was “Sacrifice the weak” or “Cull the herd” instead, but “Prepareness through pain” works too. I don’t remember the fact he was a marksman when he was in the Army is explicitly mentioned in the game or even in The Book of Joseph, but considering his weapon of choice is a sniper rifle, that makes sense to me!

do we have any information on the approximate dates or year that TMA takes place in? I’m obsessed with timelines and I’m so curious about if those dates are Known or not or can only be guessed about

yes we do! some parts of the timeline are a little vague, but every live and "in situ" statement (with a few exceptions) has a date attached to it. I won't go through every known date, and I'm also not scrupulously checking to make sure I've copied all these numbers down correctly so there's probably an error or two in here, but some significant ones include:

Muppet Fact #1012

In 2016 and 2018, artist Jason Edmiston created many paintings for Mondo's Eyes Without a Face series. Of those paintings, several were of Jim Henson characters. Those of which being Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch, Animal, and Jareth. In 2019, Edmiston also created a Rowlf painting in the same style as a commission.

On the 27th of January, 2008, Penny Boudreau and her 12-year-old daughter, Karissa, went to a local grocery store in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada. As Karissa sat in the car, Penny called her boyfriend, Vernon Macumber, and told him that Karissa was missing.

Following the call, Penny climbed back into the car and drove Karissa to a quiet roadside and ordered her out of the car. Penny pushed her only child to the ground and wrapped a piece of twine around her hands and neck and began to pull as tightly as possible. “Mommy, don’t,” were Karissa’s last words but Penny ignored her and continued to strangle her.

When Karissa’s heaving gasps stopped, Penny loaded her lifeless body in the trunk of the car. She then drove to Tim Hortons to throw out the incriminating twine before dumping Karissa’s body by the LaHarte River. Penny then reported Karissa reported missing as a snowstorm swept into the region. She claimed Karissa vanished while she was in the grocery store.

On two separate occasions, Penny appealed to the public for help in finding her daughter as search crews scoured the area. “I just want you to come home,” she pleaded. “We all love you, Karissa. I love you.”

On the 9th of February, a passerby stumbled across Karissa’s body. The autopsy showed that Karissa had been murdered and investigators soon announced that the murder was an isolated incident, meaning it wasn't the work of a stranger.

In June of the same year, Penny was finally arrested after confessing to the murder to an undercover officer. “Investigators feel there was only one person responsible for this homicide,” said Chief Brent Cowhurst.

Following her arrest, Penny finally offered up a chilling motive for the murder of her only child. She said that her boyfriend, Vernon Macumber, had given her an ultimatum for their relationship to survive. He said that she had to pick between him or her daughter. Penny told an officer that she “would do anything for Vernon and the thought of losing him was harder than the thought of losing her daughter.”

Penny Bordreau pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of second degree murder and received a life sentence. She must serve 20 years before applying for parole. In 2018, she was granted four escorted leaves to attend church services.

Vernon was found to not be involved in the murder and maintained he hadn’t offered an ultimatum and instead had suggested that something needed to be done about the constant arguing between Penny and Karissa.
