So. MCYT art. Huh.

Look, I'm gonna be honest here, I am not in the fandom anymore. I'm not here to shame anyone who is, you do you. But i'm also not gonna be attacked over a fandom i'm not in. The discourse around it was getting too toxic for me, so I left.

I was in a big MCYT craze during the lockdown and drew a lot. Like, a lot. So when I want to redraw old art, most of it is MCYT related. I'm also generally still proud of the designs. Past me poured a lot of time and love into these and I'm not afraid to stand by that.

Yall are still free to reblog and stuff if you like the art, I don't mind. I wrote this to let people know I'm not an mcyt/dsmp/osmp/etc blog. I might do some redraws, but it's not content I post here regularly.

I've had a fic kind of bouncing around my head it revolves around the different ghosts of the dream SMP. There's ghostbur glatt and ghostboo as well as ghostinit. And Jack manifold the ghost

basically, in this world goes to the product of characters who died a particularly tragic death and the substance they produce is directly based on the emotion that essentially plagued them their life. The substances are method of relieving and preventing the issues that harmed them while they were alive. It's giving the living what they cannot have

sounds pretty angsty the fic is not because my brain works purely on crack fics

ghostbur makes blue which he cries it removed sadness. You know the drill

glatt makes black essentially drools it. It removes hate and bitterness. It's essentially a calming. See the light sort of thing. It's hard to explain

ghostboo makes purple which he bleeds from the giant gaping hole in the middle with chest it helps with fear

Jack manifold the ghost makes red a clay like substance that helps remove anger

I'm not sure what ghostinit should make you tell me

The personalities are essentially opposite to whatever they're living counterpart was

the first part of the fic is essentially about glatt and ghostboo trying to revive the other ghosts

preferably without murdering their living counterparts though that is their plan Z

glatt and ghostbur are dating

The second part of the fic is essentially them working with puffy to create a sort of a therapy office now with medication because God knows everyone else here needs it

it also has found family elements

I will need help on like the kinds of trauma. All the different members of the dream SMP have because I can't keep track of it all. So I expect all the different sympathizers not to be confused with apologists to tell me the kind of therapy the different characters need

Could wei get an art request for muir Ghostbur/Phantombur fictive? It's been hard trying to find something for him.. 😅

Basically, I look like a mixture of Glattbur and Phantombur. The curled ram horns, goat eyes and grey skin of Glattbur and the phantom wings, bone tail, and outter ribcage of Phantombur. I'm usually wearing a yellow sweater and kinda tattered grey-ish brown pants with a brown satchel with, like, a billion patches on it cuz it keeps breaking. And there's blue stains on just about everything too.

If this is too much, I understand, there no pressure to do this!

great ask to answer before bed .

so there was this fic me and sam codenamed "catholic guilt" because that was one of the tags on it that caught us off guard . i was reading it because it was glattbur and i was really into that at the time . however this was also the era when people were leaning REALLY hard into boundaries and stuff so i was hanging on the fact that ghostbur and glatt had been labeled qpps . this fic was also fascinating to me for other reasons such as the line "the wine will help the representation of the saviors blood will cleanse his twisted unholy body of mortal sin" which is a line so funny to me from j. schlatt i have it memorized apparently to this day .

anyways eventually the fics content was falling out of what a qpr is typically portrayed as and more into a straight out romantic relationship . and then eventually the author up and changed the fics tags to be like yeah theyre dating now . since i used to care about boundaries and stuff i wasnt too jazzed but i kept reading out of morbid curiosity . at one point after i think techno tried to kill (???) glatt , he saw glatt crossing himself and gave him a rosary . so that is why technoblade has become catholic is in the rat tag
