Larry Loves Laurels

This is something I wanted to gather in a post for a while now and with the recent post of Louis wearing a cap that includes a laurel wreath, it’s time to let this monster out of my drafts. It became a long masterpost/timeline of the times laurel wreaths showed up on their clothing or in some other way.

Louis loves laurels. This was a big one, when he wore this shirt while perfoming a bunch of songs for the first time (sept 14 2019):

And that’s quite inchresting as Larry = laurel. Literally.

The name “Larry” is short for Laurence/Lawrence, which in turn comes from the Latin Laurentius, meaning "From Laurentum" (a city near Rome) which is thought to be derived from the Latin laurus ("laurel"). The name could also be derived from the Old Greek word Lavrenti meaning "bright one, shining one".

It’s so simple, so loud, it’s pretty much a smack in the face.

Again like all my posts I’m not saying they’re definitely doing this on purpose and that this is the meaning behind it. Let’s be real here, basically all I’m doing is me see plant me point, but after 10+ years of similar nonsense it wouldn’t be too crazy to think this has turned into some “let’s see if they catch this muwhaha” chaosgay sidebehavior again (I’m tired). It’s also mostly just a Fred Perry catalogue (the brand’s logo is a laurel wreath) but there are some other occurences that do make me go oh wow you lil shit, so darling just hold on, just sit back, pretend to relax, and let’s get this going:

And demonstrating already why it might not be just a random brand choice: the day the man was papped in the larry outfit, the “home made” shirt (H’s tat) and “ellesse” pants (LS, for what, hmm?), is also the first sighting of him wearing Fred Perry too. He wears ‘ellesse” often around this time, but AFAIK Fred Perry only shows up 3 times in 2016, two days in a row and again a few days later. Here’s him in the outfit ft. chocolatemilk

Also this was around the time Louis was constantly papped either with strollers or just anything really like he was a kardashian, just insane amounts of times. There is probably a nice timeline of it somewhere but I’m blind so instead here’s a google search for articles in april alone.

Intermission: I was just going around checking if people close to them wear this brand too, and I found 2 instances of James Corden on papwalks in FP shirts too (as well as 2 for Liam on stage, none for Niall or Zayn), but the timing just made me aggressively flop my he-got-the-dagger-arms so I’m gonna mention it: it was right after these pics of louis. Did... did James dark larrie again here? 3 days after Louis+laurel+gf pap pics, there’s an article of James+laurel+wife pap pics (april 22nd 2016) To make things worse, the other time was oct 17 2015 (bears? belfast? that whole uh... *vaguely gestures* time). But I mean, call it a boinky coincindoinky, right? Other meanings

So besides it literally being the meaning of the name “Larry” this interpretation of the laurel tattoo (and with that the use of laurel imagery in general) really shouldn’t be overlooked.

I can’t make this post without mentioning what laurels symbolize in general. In short, the laurel wreath is often used as a symbol of unfading glory, a power status symbol of victory. (In long: the golden laurel crown symbolizing the transience of glory, victory and power instead). It’s used in family/home crests a lot, including nautical themed ones. 

Just scrolling google you find all kinds, this one’s one hell of a larry:

Fred Perry has its own history as well. In very short: it’s one of those brands adopted by british working class sub-cultures like mods and chavs, fitting Louis’ aesthetic in 2017-2020 (saying 2020 because we’re all eyeing the new era). Could be it’s just purely this and pre-2017 were just coincidunkirky hiccups, but I feel the man found the best of both worlds and ran with it.

Bonus:  maybe coincidentally  styled-in-fred-perry  fetus Harry  (a haiku by me)

I feel so dumb to write my personal story here, but this truly is my last chance to feel better and try to overcome this giant monster called depression.

I genuinly don't know if I can make it through this year. It's the worst period of my entire life and i don't even know if it's worth living this hell anymore.

I know you have millions of supporters (that probably write you every single day, and they are all better fans than I am, that's for sure) but I know that you proved, time after time, to be so down to earth and to use your time to read your fans messages.. so, in this moment, I'm just trying to share a part of my story with you.

You are the one that make feel understood, since I was like 13teen.

I'm so sorry if my English isn't very good but I'll do my best.

I'm not very active on social media , because I'm very shy when I have to talk about myself.. but If this could work, I must do it.

I'll try now to resume, because I don't want to bother you too much.

This has been a crazy year so far, and the all the time I spent by myself during the lockdown didn't help at all.

This situation brought me back to childhood.

I spent a lot of my days back and forth in hospitals, due to my allergies.

I had to wear a mask all the time I wanted to go outside to avoid severe allergic reaction (that's why this Covid thing awakened some hurting memories)

I didn't have real friends back then, 'cause I've spent most of the summers at home, watching other kids playing around, from my window, or from the windows of my classroom.

It was so hard to make new friends, because the only thing that other kids saw was my mask.

I was the masked kid.

I was the strange kid.

I couldn't play with them.

Everytime I tried to play with them, the only thing I heard was "oh you are ill , I don't wanna be like you so stay away".

This situation made me start to write things in my personal diary.

I wrote small sentences, as a kid, and that was the only thing I could do alone inside an empty classroom during all summer.

This situation continued  for many years.

I wasn't the cool kid before, I wasn't the cool guy after.

The only things that let me enjoy those days were writing and listening to your songs.

I started to listen to your music thanks to my English teacher. She was a fan of folk and country music and she gave me a pic in which you were singing near a lake (I still have that photo somewhere, I strongly remember the white banner with your name written in red on it) and told me to listen to the cd she gave me that day.

I immediately fell in love (I think I still have a crush on you, I'm sorry).

I loved your album. I loved your voice. I loved the lyrics.

I remember having a "test" in school: each one of the class had to write their favourite lyrics and let the others guess the song.

If the someone guessed It, We could play the cd.

I chose Love Story and I translated it in Italian.

The class guessed the song, and I played it.

After the lunch break I went back to my desk and I saw some bullies that were breaking my cd-album and they started to laugh at me because I loved your music an I loved writing poems.

I was a boy so I was a loser because I enjoyed those things.

That felt terrible, but I continued to love your songs even more .

Those were my inspiration to write and to study english.

I felt so good when I listened to your album and this still happens.

Then I went to a private high-school.

Nothing changed, I still was the nerd guy that always got good grades and I have to say that the first year was quite good, but the second year was the start of the apocalypse.

I choose that school because two girls that I knew from childhood went there.

One of the cool new guys started to spread a fake "news" about me.

He said to everyone that I was the boyfriend of one of the two girls that I mentioned before.

So he was the cool guy and one of the girls believed him and told me to f*** myself.

The other girl was her best friend, so you could imagine by what happened next.

After 14 year spent together, I was nobody.

I didn't have "friends" in that class anymore.

I didn't say hello to anybody for 4 years, and nobody would say anything to me.

Nobody to talked with me.

That's great when you're a teenager.

I hated to wake up every morning.

I had an eating disorder, I lost like 22pounds in less than a month. Got hospitalized twice. I kept vomiting for 3 years, every single morning before school.

During that time I only talked with one of my cousins, who lived like 2 hours by car from me.

He was older than me but he always tried to help.

He knew that I loved to write poems so he started to give me guitar lessons.

I made it through a lot of things thanks to him.

I'm sorry, It's hard for me to write this part of the story.

I still get emotional when I think about this.

On the 10TH of December 2013 (some days after his birthday) we received a phone call from his mother: She warned us that he didn't return home after the last working shift.

I wrote a message to him like 3 hours prior to that phone call.

Never had the opportunity to get a reply again.

This year is the seventh year that he is missing.

That destroyed me.

I felt empty.

I felt like nothing couldn't help me.

I still feel that everytime I care about someone in my life, it will disappear someday.

This have happened several other times.

You know when ignorants say that men don't cry, is real bullshit. Men cry. I cried a lot.

I wrote so many poems , lyrics, thoughts in that period of time, that I destroyed my hands.

That was the only way to close my eyes and let me reach another reality because the real one was way too much for me.

Be a sensible man in this world is somehow a curse.

All these things made me afraid  even to hug someone 'cause I feel I'm too ugly or just to scared to be refused.

I will stop here my story, but there's so much more to tell.

I make it through all of these things and memories because I keep dreaming that one day I could meet you and we could talk together.

Dreaming about the fact I could spend a day with you made me find the power to battle my depression.

I'm 25 now and this year I'm not dreaming anymore.

I was going to start again university, I wanted to get a degree in marketing and have the chance to live in the us.

For years I believed that I would make it and hopefully be part of your marketing team.

I'm so stupid. All these years I kept dreaming to avoid pain.

I wanted to pursue my passion and continue to write lyrics but all I was doing was putting myself in unrealistic realities.

This covid situation made everything clear.

When everyone had someone to facetime (or video call) I was alone.

When everyone had someone asking them "how are you?" I only had myself looking in the mirror saying: "Will I ever feel better?"

I've never been the one for anybody, and I think I'll never be.

I won't be the one among all your fans to realize his dream.

Nobody likes me, and I'm exposing myself once again just because I want the opportunity to smile at something that could happen to me.

I'm tired to smile only for others best moments.

I've always seen the sun through a window.

I want to feel happy.

I want to burn my face with the sun.

I'm so sick of hiding my pain,

sick to cry when I'm alone in my car before going to work,

sick to let my eyes rain on my pillow every night.

I'm sick to say to my mother that I'm fine, just because I don't want to make her feel bad.

It's not her fault.

She is battling with a degenerative autoimmune disease, why I should put other weight on her shoulders?

I didn't give up to my weakness before because I don't want to hurt her.

I always say to her that soon she will feel better, that's why your song It's stuck in my head.

But when she won't be here anymore, how I can go through all of that?

I don't even know if will ever get better for me.

Will this pain ever stop?

Sometimes it's so hard to live and so easy to die.

Hope that my dream to spend some time with you can become true.

Thank you for everything, you gave me the strength to go on for many years.. But this time is so hard to put on my armor and continue this battle.

But is this even worth if thy I try to surround myself with people and I always feel lonely?

“Will you tell me about my Mum and Dad? You knew them better than anyone, and I have pictures, but nobody really ever tells me about them, they just dance around the subject.”

Harry asked his Godfather at the table quietly, not wanting to wake anyone else, Ron and Hermione beside him. Hermione was excited to soak up as much information on some of the finest Wizards Hogwarts had seen, while Ron wanted to know about all of the spells James had come up with. Harry just wanted to feel like he knew them, or of their love.

“James potter and y/n l/n, truly soulmates.”

Sirius’ voice was laced with love and melancholy, yet also backed by sadness, as it seemed to the trio listening.

“James!”

Your voice called out, trying to divert his attention from the rest of his friends, waving your hands in the air. When he finally saw you you were out of breath, jumping up and down as a smirk covered his face. Crossing your arms across your chest as he walked over, a smug look on his smug asshole face. He was quite the charmer, but you were determined to be angry at him and not fall victim to his charms this time.

“Yes my love?”

He leaned in for a kiss, earning a hand on his chest pushing him away.

“You seemed to forget to tell me what exactly happened at that Gryffindor versus Slytherin quidditch match Mr. Potter.”

His demeanor changed immediately, his hand going to rub at the back of his neck.

“You see Future Mrs. Potter, it was all just rubbish, whatever they told yo-.”

“James you almost died from what I was told!”

The dirty look you got from some passing Ravenclaw’s had not helped his case. Before he could utter another word you turned away from him. Scoffing as you turned and starting to walk away from him he begged you to stop. You refused to stop.

Your anger could only be concealed for such a small amount of time though, he had been careless and reckless and what if something happened? You could not bare to live without him, no matter how much you wanted to admit it, if he died you would break.

You were in love with James Fleamont Potter.

So, instead of dealing with him you ignored him for three more days, your anger starting to bubble over. Alice was tired of hearing you complain about him, and Sirius was tired of hearing James whine about how you weren’t talking to him. It wasn’t until you were alone in the gardens that he caught up to you thanks to an anonymous tip from a very annoyed Alice. Pulling on the sleeve of your robe he spun you around to face him. He used your surprise to his leverage, placing his hands on your hips and pulling you in, pressing his lips to yours.

You melted into the kiss, your arms wrapping around his shoulders. You had missed him dearly, being mad at James was almost impossible, almost.

When you pulled away he rested his forehead on yours,

“I’m sorry my love. Padfoot thought it would be funny to plan out a whole theatrics, and I just went along with it. You were supposed to be there, giving me that signature y/n look when I got too out of control.” He was like a puppy dog, his eyes bore into you, carving out a spot in your heart.

“But I wasn’t, and what if something happens to me and I can not ever be there again? Will you just do stupid things until you die? We are in our last year at school, and pretty soon we are going to need to get jobs and be adults. James what if I am not always here?”

He had no idea why you were talking about this, pulling away from you, his hands moving up to grip onto your arms, almost shaking you.

“Are you insane? What the fuck do you mean without you? Not being here anymore? You’re talking like you’re dead, or that we’ll break up.”

“We could! You never know James! With the way everything is going what if I do die? What if I leave you and the baby alon-” Before you could stop yourself you let it spill, and there was no going back.

“What baby?” You were quiet, your head lowered as you trembled, part from the cold and part from fear of his reaction.

“What baby?” He repeated, “Are you pregnant?” It was more of a statement then a question, just him testing out the words on his tongue, yet you nodded nonetheless. You held your breath as he spoke, just wanting to hide. You could not lose him.

He lifted your face up to look at him, tears bubbling behind his eyes, damn those eyes.

“Did you think I would leave you or be mad?” Again you nodded, petrified at his response. Until suddenly he laughed deeply, picking you up and swirling you around.

“Do you know what this means y/n? We're gonna be parents! Real life parents! You and me. You have my baby in you, our baby. We're going to be the best parents! I have to tell Mum and Dad, and now I finally get to make you a real Potter. God Moony, Padfoot and Wormtail! Anything else can be damned right now. I’ll protect us, always.”

You forgot what you were even mad at in that moment, seeing his happiness radiating it transferred to you too, harshly pressing your lips back onto his, gripping his hair as you kissed. Only pulling away for air you smiled,

“Forever Potter.”

Clearing his throat as to not cry Sirius nodded at Harry,

“And he did, protect you and your Mother. Until the very end, he refused to leave you two. He fought Voldemort until his last breath because he was protecting you both. These aren’t gonna be super long. I’m gonna do a little on each clone instead. All these scenarios are accidental pregnancy.

So sorry to Jesse and Hardcase stans but I didn’t do one for them because I got somewhere to be and I can’t save drafts for asks on stupid fucking desktop. 

Rex 

When you first tell him he’s at a loss for words at first. He’s overwhelmed. Both with worry that someone might find out and with unexpected joy. (unexpected for him. He didn’t think he would feel like that)

I’ve got this image in my head that after you’ve gotten Rex to feel less overwhelmed he’d let out a shaky sigh, his eyes would be watering, and he’d just put his hand over yours. 

Yk how he kept that squad pic of him, Cody, Fives, and Echo? Well he’d definitely keep pics from each scan on him. 

Every time he sees your bump, he can’t help but marvel at the fact that a life is growing in there. A life you both created. 

Cody

He says all the right things. But he’s worried though. It’s not proper for a Marshal Commander to have a secret child. Despite that he’s actually the one comforting you. 

It’s not uncommon for men not to feel connected to their baby until it’s actually born. And Cody is like this. He loves you, and he knows he will love the baby but he can’t connect to it like you have. 

Cody is a man that never shirks his responsibility so it would really fucking irk him that he had to keep this secret. More so when the baby is actually born. He would feel like he wasn’t fulfilling his duty to you and the child. 

Likes to keep his hand on your bump when he’s sitting next to you. 

Wolffe

Not sure what to feel at first. His reaction actually worries you a little. He’s very quiet and his face gives nothing away. After a few minutes he speaks and says in a neutral tone that you’ll get through it together. 

It’s not that he’s upset that you’re pregnant. He just doesn’t know how to handle it. 

After the first scan his attitude changes. Wolffe allows himself to feel more attached to the baby. 

In the latter end of pregnancy Wolffe is very protective (Wolves and their pups AM I RIGHT?). You ain’t lifting shit with him around. 

Fives 

First reaction is to ask if you’re playing a prank on him. You assure him you’re not and a huge grin breaks out on his face. 

Fives knows his self worth (which is not as common as it should be amongst the clones) so he knows that despite the fact that he grew up without a traditional father/mother figure, that he would do everything in his power to be a good dad. 

Kisses the bump A LOT.

In his mind, the pregnancy reinforces his statement that he isn’t just a number. (Umbara ref eyy)

Echo

You’re both reassuring each other. Discussing all your options. Thinking about this logically. Until you see Echo getting teary. And then you get teary. (Cry together sweeties)

It goes against all the rules and regulations. He panics about it from time to time but despite all that he can’t help but feel happy. 

Looking forward to being a dad SO MUCH. 

Has read a lot about pregnancy and could probably deliver the baby without assistance if he was forced to, he’s that fucking well prepared.

Kix

Genuinely shook. You and him took every precaution to avoid getting pregnant and yet here you were telling him that you were. Of course no contraceptive method is 100% effective. 

Even though he’s a medic, maternal health isn’t his forte (he’s a medic for an army of men. Maternal health isn’t at the top of the teaching list on Kamino). But he’s will definitely go out of his way to read up on pregnancy and how to have the healthiest pregnancy possible. 

Actually very calm about it. Can calm you down when you’re panicking about anything baby related.

Is VERY attentive in the during the final few months.

1. Favorite fall activity? Anything outside, to be honest. It’s my favorite time of year! I do love reading in my hammock with a blanket before it gets too cold, though I’m not sure that counts as an activity.

2. Favorite song at the moment? Well, the one I’m most obsessing on is one I’m vidding right now, so I’m keeping that a secret. BUT, I’ve been listening to Setting Sun by Lord Huron a lot recently ever since @alwaysupatnight mentioned it in an ask about Culebra Seth. I hadn’t heard it before and I fell right in love with it. 

3. Last movie you saw in theaters? Oh, it has been awhile since I actually went to a theater. I wanna say it was the first IT movie, cause I remember taking my brothers to see that. If I went after that I guess it didn’t leave an impression on me.

4. Favorite emoji/smiley? I really like 🥳 cause look how excited it is! Close second is 😎 because it makes me think of the Geckos when I use it.

5. Cold weather or hot weather? Cold weather, as stated above!

6. Are you a past, present, or future person? Hmm, I’m going to say present. I am a bit of a worrier by nature, so I intentionally try and keep myself grounded by staying in the moment as much as possible, so I’m not obsessing over what I did or about what could happen next. I’m reasonably successful with it. 

7. From where you’re sitting, what’s the closest object on your right? Water bottle.

8. What’s something you’re weirdly afraid of? (For example, a hair dryer, airplanes, a microwave, etc.) Ok, so this going to sound very weird, but it’s grasshoppers.  don’t mind spiders, hornets, bees, any of the normal creepy crawlies, they don’t bother me at all, but I have such an intense irrational reaction to grasshoppers, like a real fight or flight thing kicks in for me. I understand they can’t hurt me, but I don’t trust those little sideways hoppers AT ALL. Also, I used to spend a lot time catching (and releasing) bugs when I was a small child, and one day one BIT ME, which I didn’t know they can do, and the betrayal was so great that I have never forgiven them. And then if you want to see something that’s even more untrustworthy, google the spider cricket sometime. I don’t see as many of those, but my friend had some living underneath her porch one year, and they are terrible. (also harmless)

9. Favorite snack food? Soft pretzels with cheese are always a good time. And now I want one, dang it.

10. Favorite color to wear? Blue! I love blue so much.

Vidding. if I’m allowed to stretch the definition of a year about 1 month past haha.  I’ve also done a ton more “creative" writing since joining tumblr, all these asks and tag games are the most I’ve ever organized my thoughts and put them out there for others to actually see (excluding non voluntary things like schoolwork and work) It’s been a lot of fun to do both, and really allowed me to push myself out of my comfort zone.

Gonna say something about Soup.io real quick

Ok maybe not-so-real-quick. Hooboy. Where do I even begin?

It was my LIFE for a significantly long time. It was my anti-Tumblr before I even got a Tumblr. It was a safe haven to upload things I don't really wanna share with my friends.

Starting from the early 2010s I've been trying A LOT of alternatives for popular sites, some are thankfully stable, most of them aren't. For the longest time I thought Soup was one of the most stable sites I could rely on & it did prove me right for many years. Like, whenever an alternative site failed on me I'll always store a backup of whatever important posts I have there on Soup.

Yfrog died? Off to Soup.

Twitwall died? Back 'em dreamjournal entries up in Soup.

FYI  I used to dump all my dream journal entries in the (now defunct) text auto-imports from Twitter, Jaiku, Ask.fm, etc. And it also works as a bookmarking site when all the bookmarking sites I've tried failed on me everytime.

Speaking of the anti-Tumblr part, I was pretty proud to own a Soup blog in place of a Tumblr blog & I would repost all the memes & stuff from my friends' Tumblr blog into Soup. (It was a hassle of course but I didn't even care). But the one thing I got a kick out of was copying other people's Tumblr fanart & turn them into Soup, since I thought nobody would care or even notice. To me this felt kinda robin-hood-ish, taking the love & attention of one perceived popular website & giving it to its less popular alternative. Back then I was still doing finals in university, & turning all those blues into reds lifted & kept my spirits up.

After graduating from university I moved on to actually making original fanart for Soup in the meantime, while still looking for jobs back then. A few of those fanart got featured in their ads & the developers liked it so much they sent me a Soup t-shirt & a tank top as a thank you gift which I still wore today. The thought of them sending shirts from across the globe all the way here is totally unexpected. Count this as an early birthday present (cuz it was days before my birthday) and to this day I still can't thank them enough for it.

Weird cuz in the previous year, just for fun, I photoshopped this Soup logo on a red shirt I already have, hoping I could have a Soup shirt for real. My prayers have been answered.

In a way, Soup also gave me room for experimenting in blog customization. In the early days I'd go around trying to copy my friends' blogs' looks (they're mostly on Tumblr & Blogger with multitudes of themes & Soup has like 4 other themes besides the default) & since I only know simple HTML & CSS & not much beyond that, I had to view the source page of these other blogs & tried seeing what codes can make certain pics float, or cursors change, or the likes.

There was one time when I actually made the cursor on my blog change, but I still couldn't nail the layouts like those other tumblr/blogger/wordpress/livejournal blogs. In the end, changing the background images is good enough... until Notasecondtowaste introduced Souperstyles to all of us, with lots of customized themes & even more customizable CSS-es. Also also that one time someone made a grid look for their Soup, that happened too, & that got me drawing this comic.

After getting my own Tumblr 2 years after I got my Soup, I went full matchy-matchy on both blogs in case one or the other screws up or something, then I'll still have backup on the other. Who would've guessed Soup was the first to die, after all these years. Gotta say I'm lucky I didn't really need to export my Soup content much following the site's demise, as besides my artworks, music & memes simultaneously posted on tumblr, my chat screencaps & dreamjournals are safe somewhere else.

There’s still some things I don’t quite like about Soup though, like how it doesn’t allow multiple images in a post (they used to, though, using automatic imports we can make a gallery from all the images we selected, not anymore). Also there’s not a lot of fandom comunities in Soup too, especially with my fandoms (the blame’s on me & not the website) thats why I was glad when I found out group blogs for Doctor Who, My Chemical Romance, 30 Seconds To Mars & comic enthusiasts exist in Soup.

Despite all that, Soup still wins me over with its versatility.

To me, Soup is a place where I can be alone & yet still interact with other people. Completely different people from my usual online friends I have in other social media. All the other alternative social sites I've tried don't really have a significant amount of active users, thus using those sites still feels kinda lonely without all the reactions. In Soup they’ll still react & repost your posts into groups & stuff.

Recently I’ve tried Soup clones popping out before Soup’s death, like Loforo, & earlier last year, Newtumbl. They’re light, they’re alright, though they still don’t really feel like Soup. But hey I’m sticking around Loforo for now, it’s still improving & introducing new features.

also some ppl wanted me to expand on why louis “has to” be straight if he wants a uk/europe-centered career. i think everyone who says shit like “it’s 2019, why won’t xyz just come out?” probably is an adult who lives in a very big city and has a carefully curated friend group. can’t speak for the continents i’ve never been to, and i don’t have any Official Data, and am Obviously Generalizing for Discourse’s Sake, but i’d guess that in an average european family (with the exception of scandi countries, maybe, since they’re Advanced in almost Every Area) for every 2 (potentially) supportive family members there are at least 5 other ones whose reaction to you being gay would fall somewhere on “i don’t understand it/why?/you’ve been lying to me!/this is so wrong/you need to get help”. and that’s not even me touching the situation in the uk specifically, especially the middle/lower class part of the market. tl;dr while no one /has/ to stay in the closet, of course it’s still easier to launch a solo career (be it music or film) if you’re not Openly&Loudly Gay?

i’ve been thinking about how Wildt it is that dan wootton of the sun is still asking for larry stylinson takes three years after freddie, and after the last time harry and louis Officially saw each other was that txf performance. and then i started thinking about some other stuff. despite the fact that ppl like perez hilton tried to make xarry happen, or that nick grimshaw tries to make gryles happen from time to time, the man harry styles has been linked to most often throughout the Sexuality Rumours part of his career is louis tomlinson. harry styles is the /only/ man louis has been linked to. they both have “general” sexuality rumours, but those are framed differently, too. people on tumblr dot com who think that “harry is practically out” truly don’t realise how little the GP knows, and how little it gives a shit about him possibly being lgbt. i’m sure there were exceptions of the rule, probably mostly on some us and uk media outlets, but a large part of those syndicated press articles after harry first performed “medicine” was very Telling. before “medicine” it was “harry styles has dated taylor swift, kendall jenner, and 23428 nameless models” (occasionally cara delevingne gets namedropped too). after “medicine” it was “harry styles has dated taylor swift, kendall jenner, 23428 nameless models, and maybe has sucked a friendly dick or two here and there, Like Famous People do, especially high or drunk, but probably still lives on p*ssy 24/7”. like people absolutely don’t take bisexuality seriously, especially male, unless there’s solid photographic evidence. once there’s evidence, they usually don’t think it’s bisexuality, but someone being gay/lesbian, but afraid of “coming out Fully”, because they love that biphobia. the article that harry’s bisexuality rumours after “medicine” got on the most popular gossip site in my country is the perfect example of that. ik y’all don’t speak the language, but trust me when i say that while they acknowledge that harry has had sexuality rumours going on for a while now, they don’t namedrop /any/ man in that context, not louis, nor nick, nor anyone else, and look at them ending the article with a pic of harry hugging TOMMY THE FUN DAD of all people. like. not even poor el jefe, akfjsa. that’s how Little some people know, if they even know who harry is, or if they care about him.

now let’s imagine that harry and louis are both closeted, but have never dated each other. JUST FOR FUNSIES, bear with me. if any of them was to come out (in a Grand Gesture Way, not “those are just rumours” way, like getting photographed with someone who’s not the other one), especially while trying to release their first solo album, the other would automatically get asked about that. automatically. (and what if one them wanted to be out, but the other wouldn’t, and wouldn’t want to be Dragged into a public coming out?) and not only them! look at all the journalists still pressing members of 1d for quotes on the hiatus and on zayn (and other things! like them asking louis about the dirt on liam and naomi, for example) /three years/ after the disband, while all of them are currently trying to make their name for themselves, and two of them don’t even have proper solo albums out yet. so the other 2 (3) band members would absolutely get asked about that, too, and then also about other stuff. because if someone was being closeted while in 1d, what were the other Dirty Secrets? journalists would go hard after substance abuse especially (in zayn’s case most of all). now let’s all remember that thanks to those leaked “got talent” (i think?) contracts we know that simon cowell makes ppl sign the clause about /anyone in the fucking solar system/ not being allowed to say /any/ bad thing about him.

tl;dr if at least one of the members of 1d is closeted, it’s not wild to assume that they have to think about not only themselves, but also 3 (4) other people if they were to make A Big Deal out of coming out of said closet. (i obviously want to add that they don’t owe anyone shit, and that coming out should never be an obligation for /any/ celeb). i think harry is in the easiest position if he is indeed “only” bisexual, not “fully” gay. he can go with “yeah i knew i liked boys even while being in the band, but dated all of those girls for real because i do also like girls, and the other band members were supportive”, which wouldn’t necessarily spark too many angry takes about Injustice of Having Been Closeted (because he does like girls too, bless him!) and make people inquire about Other Things That Might Have Been Covered Up during that time.

Papyrus

Papyrus was NOT really happy when they moved. It wasn't as if he was really attached to their old place, it was just that he knew the routine there. He knew where he belonged there. Also it was the place he and Sans had lived for years and Papyrus didn't really like leaving everything behind.

He had known things would be different when Sans came home one day grinning brightly and mumbling fire puns while he made dinner. At first Sans hadn't told him anything about the why. Sans' room would suddenly be locked for hours at a time while Sans talked to somebody on the phone. Suddenly Sans took day-trips somewhere else and leave Papyrus to be on his own for a few hours after school (He was FINE. He was already 10 years old at that time!). Also Sans had started to do more stuff with Papyrus on days where he was at home and not at work. He had helped with his homework or played some of the games with him he knew Papyrus loved.

Papyrus had suspected that something had happened at work too, but as usual Sans did not talk about whatever was bothering him.

Papyrus met Grillby for the first time a few weeks later when Sans took him on a trip. They were going to some sort of fair, lots of exciting stuff to do there so Papyrus hadn't minded the strange and kinda silent fire elemental that greeted Sans like an old friend. It took him two hours to notice that they were holding hands the whole time they were walking over the fair-ground.

He was... alright. Papyrus was a bit weary of Grillby at first but seeing him and Sans together was kinda nice and they made each other smile a lot.

And then Papyrus had found the plushies. Or, well, saw Sans squeal and squeeze a familiar looking orange plush, bones nearly vibrating in joy and his magic reaching out with glee so strong that Papyrus could feel it all the way from the door.

His brother being in love was kinda a strange thought. Not bad but strange. Because things would change.

And change they did. They moved to the new town, they moved into Grillby's house and Sans went to work at Grillby's store.

And Papyrus? He went to the new school.

It wasn't bad. The town was nice and friendly, there were trees and a small lake and a lot of cool places to play. The school building itself was pretty new too, bright colors everywhere and it smelled like chalk and wood.

Headmaster Toriel was a tall goat woman and a tiny bit intimidating but she smiled when she greeted each new student and welcomed them into the school. She then gave them all a small tour and lead Papyrus to his classroom.

It was a small class. There were maybe ten other students there and all of them looked at him.

“O...oh. Uh... you must be Papyrus? Welcome in our class!” said the teacher, a yellow lizard monster. “Uh... My name is Alphys and I gonna be your teacher! So uh... how about you get up here and tell us a bit about yourself?”

Papyrus nodded and stepped up and next to the teacher's desk. He waved a bit and tried to show them his best the-great-Papyrus-smile.

“Hello! My name is Papyrus and my brother and I just moved here! He works for Mister Grillby now and is kinda lame but I try to be cooler than him!”

There were some mumbles at his words but all in all the other kids seemed to be alright with him. The Temmie even waved at him and pointed at the empty desk beside him. Grinning Papyrus sat down next to them and put down his backpack.

“Hoi, I am Temmie.” Temmie whispered to him as soon as Papyrus sat down. “Wanna be friends?”

“Sure!” cheered Papyrus, beaming brightly. Maybe this new town was alright after all.

Change wasn't always bad after all.

It was late when Papyrus sat up, his plush pet rock Rocky in his arms and leaning against the headboard of his bed. The rest of the house was dark and quiet, not even Sans' snoring disturbed the silence. A small ray of light came through the window, some light from a streetlamp shining through and illuminating Papyrus' room slightly, forming strange shadows from his furniture and toys.

He just... could not sleep.

It wasn't new, he had days where sleep just eluded him but usually there was a REASON for it.

Today's reason was tall and purple and mean and slightly smaller and green and yellow and brown and... silent.

Papyrus had been watching Kris and Susie since his first day at school, both of them turning up later than him almost every day. Kris usually came with the sound of the bell while Susie came minutes after. She never came MUCH to late, just enough to make a point.

And Papyrus wanted to figure out how to help them. Both of them.

Susie was kinda easy to figure out. Papyrus had kids like her in his old class too. Kids without friends and guidance, who were mean because they didn't know how to be nice. So Susie came in late and was rude, stole and ate chalk and never did her homework and made creepy faces all the time.

She can do better, Papyrus was sure of it. She will make right choices, she just doesn't know it yet. She just need somebody to show her how and to give her a chance...

But Sans' words were echoing in Papyrus' head.

 If they are not ready for a friend yet, they won't be your friend.”

But how was Papyrus to know if she was ready to be a friend? What if she didn't even know herself? How could he help her when she didn't even know that she needed help? It was a dilemma, the worst of all puzzles. Even puzzle-master Papyrus was kinda admitting defeat here.

“I really wanna help her.” he said to Rocky, hugging his beloved plush close. “I know I could help her be nice! I know she is good inside and wants to make the right choices. She just needs somebody to believe in her!”

Rocky sadly had no solution either.

Papyrus wondered if Grillby had some advice for that.

The other matter was Kris of course. Kris was a human and Papyrus had met humans before but there wasn't one in his class before.

Kris was mostly silent and kept to themself but they also seemed to have a witty humor and was a troublemaker. Papyrus disapproved heavily of some of their pranks and jokes. Some were kinda funny, like the ones Sans did. Others were just mean.

Everybody was friendly with Kris but nobody really seemed to be their friend. So they were different from Susie but also not quite in the know about how to be good.

“Susie and Kris could be friends.” Papyrus told Rocky. “I bet they would be really great! But... maybe Sans is right and they both don't WANT friends right now? How to get them to be ready then?”

Rocky, again, offered nothing but silence and a nice plushy texture to cuddle with.

“I need a plan.” Papyrus huffed.

He fell asleep just ten minutes later.

Sans seemed to like his work. Papyrus could tell because Sans NEVER talked about his work before. He was some kind of scientist before, that Papyrus knew, but he never ever told him anything. Now however? Sans shared stories from the day. He told him he met all kinds of people, Papyrus's teacher and headmaster and some of the parents of his new classmates. He talked about some pranks he pulled and some of the reactions he got. It was... strange.

“And then he just stared at me for maybe three minutes.” chuckled Sans. “It was the BEST, bro!”

Papyrus smiled, not necessary about the prank but because Sans was just so... happy while telling him his story.

“Grillby loved the new pics too by the way.” “He did?” asked Papyrus.

“Sure. He likes my jokes.” Sans said proudly.

“He is just a dork like you.” mumbled Papyrus.

“Hey!”

Papyrus chuckled and ate another fork-full of spaghetti.

“Say, Papyrus, how is school going?” asked Sans. “Anything new on the mean-girl and strange-human front?”

“Hm? Oh!” said Papyrus. “Sadly nothing... Kris and Susie disappeared from class today for HOURS and Kris was kinda strange all day today...”

“Strange you say?”

“Well... they seemed to be confused about a lot of things. They looked at everything, talked to everybody multiple times and sometimes walked all over the place... and then they went with Susie to get chalk and didn't return...”

“Well they did at some point.” said Sans slowly. “I met them later at the store.”

“Really?”

“Yeah, pranked them too.”

“URGH.” huffed Papyrus. “Why did you prank them? They could have been my friend!”

“Sorry, bro.” chuckled Sans. “I couldn't resist.”

Papyrus huffed at that and grumpled quietly to himself. But he was a tiny bit glad that Kris seemed to be okay. He was a bit worried when they didn't return.

He hoped still that Kris and Susie would be ready to have friends soon.

The next day Kris wasn't at school. At least not at first. They appeared during the second lesson looking kinda bad. But they were nodding at Susie and smiling a tiny bit and Susie seemed to smile back a bit.

Papyrus was thrilled at that little gesture. Maybe they were friends now? That means they were ready to have friends! And who would be better suited to be their friend but him, the great Papyrus? So he approached them when their had their recess.

“KRIS! SUSIE! I noticed you seem to be friends now and I wanted to know if you want me to be your friend too?”

Kris and Susie shared a look. Papyrus was a bit nervous that he overdid it, that he was to fast, to bold in his approach but finally Susie chuckled a bit. “You are just like Ralsei, you know?”

“Who is Ralsei? A friend of yours?”

Kris nodded and sat down. And then Susie and Kris told Papyrus the story of the dark world.

They went to Papyrus's home together after school. The tale of the dark world was a fantastical one but Papyrus believed them. He believed that there were still friends left behind, a price of the dark and the son of the king, that had to be reached. He believed that there were still people in need of helping. And people in need of a friend.

So he told them that they should ask his brother. Sans was after all pretty smart and he was sure he could help! Susie seemed unsure but Kris did seem to have forgotten the prank Sans played on them and instead agreed on meeting Sans again.

So when Papyrus noticed Kris approaching Sans, he took Susie to show her his ultra-cool room to give his brother and Kris some time alone.

“And this is my ultra-cool racecar-bed.” Papyrus said, showing off his stuff.

Susie nodded slowly. She seemed a bit puzzled about some of his stuff but Papyrus supposed that not everybody had such an awesome room like him.

“Hey, what's that?” she asked and picked up a little plushy. Papyrus groaned when he recognized it.

“Urgh... it's a plush.” he huffed.

“It looks like you.” “Well yeah... my brother makes them.” Papyrus admitted. “He made these for him and his boyfriend too and they are so... urgh about it. And now he made me one too so I stop complaining.”

“... your brother can do that? These... plushies?” asked Susie and Papyrus had a feeling she was more interested in them than she let on.”

“Uh... yeah?” Papyrus said slowly.

“... you think he could make one for me?”

Papyrus was really re-thinking his life-decisions. But Susie was looking at him with a strange expression and Papyrus knew now was the time to be a friend first.

“Uh... sure. We just have to ask him I guess.”

Susie looked pretty happy. Papyrus wondered what he had gotten himself into.

That day Papyrus had made two new friends. Papyrus usually didn't like change a lot and a lot of things changed and will change from now on too but somehow, just this time, Papyrus didn't mind the change at all.

 Hello everyone I’m home! did you guys miss me I'm feeling a lot better after that break and I feel refreshed I'm here once again to spread memes and ship art across the land! 

  but after a long while of thinking and talking with my dear friend @mitunalh I have decided to have some order with my blog it was a real eye opener seeing all the hate and spam in my inbox, and so unfortunately I am implementing some rules.

  this isn't to hurt anyone or try to come off as threatening or as a punishment this is just so that there can be order and peace in my tumblr blog and its to protect me and you guys as well

 Also before I begin the list I want to let everyone know the user who had sent the tko x ko ask they really did mean well I was able to have a talk with them and they were legitimately concerned so if you guys are giving them grief knock it off were cool now! 

now lets begin

PIXELZ01′S RULES AND GUIDELINES:

Rule 1: Do not spam the inbox

What I mean by this is dont keep saying “I posted art come look” or “uh, hey I posted the pic” just no stop,I do get mentions I see it and I like them,stop sending me constant asks about it, all it does is fill up space in my inbox and makes it harder for me to answer questions

rule 2: do not send oc art or ask me to draw your oc’s

okay I know this one Is going to be controversial but quit sending me you’re ocs and then expect me to draw them I'm not going to do it as some of you may have noticed I am no longer doing art requests I find them time consuming and tiring, I have enough on my plate as it is and I cant really afford to just draw random characters without getting somthing in return, oh boi I can hear the angry mob now “THATS SCUMMY! WHY SHOULD WE HAVE TO GIVE SOMTHING BACK TO YOU! JUST DRAW OUR CHARACTERS IT WILL GIVE GREAT PUBLICITY!!!”

Look yall ill answer all three complaints

complaint 1: no its not scummy at all I'm literally taking time out of my day to draw a character for you, that takes time effort and tears because I dont want to send you guys crap so id like to get somthing in return for my hard work be it an art trade or an art collab 

complaint 2pretty much same as the first explanation it takes me a while to get these done and I dont want to work on somthing if I'm not getting anything in return

complaint 3 : yeah no I'm not going to draw a whole line arted fully colored and edited picture just for publicity no thank you, and some of the times I dont get it! so it was a waste of my time and effort!

Anyway now on to the part where I may get the most hate for it but...

IM NOT GOING TO DRAW YOUR OCS (unless its like for an art trade/collab)

ive gotten so many asks and pictures of other peoples oc’s and im tired of it IM NOT DRAWING IT! I even had one who was like 

“um hey pls dont hate I drew *insert oc name* can you like draw her?” and then five Minuets later they send me a pic of them and then say “she/he is super strong and cute and fluffy I also ship them with tko/ko or any ok ko character pls dont hate can you draw them?”

Like no! stop please! look I’m saying no not because I'm a hater or I only ship swift and tko/ko only its because 

YOU ARE LITTERALY SHOVING THIS CHARACTER DOWN MY THROAT

And this isn't the first time and some dont even ask they just shove it in my face and say here draw this now! 

so no I wont do it so stop asking (unless its like an art trade then I may consider it)

Rule 3: do not send hate in my inbox 

I'm serious stop it I will no longer respond to it,all ill do is throw it away in the garbage so If you want attention or a reaction from someone look somewhere else and if you seriously have a problem with me then message me but yeah I'm done giving these people attention

rule 4: quit spamming me in messages

oof okay yeah this is a new problem but look if I dont respond I'm ether busy or I cant talk so quit saying “hi hi hi hi hi hi hi you there hi hi hi” for gods sake I'm sick of it!

theres a reason I'm not responding mostly because I had to deal with a stalker who got really creepy and wouldn't leave me alone,they did a lot of gross weird stuff to me like saying “sniffs your neck” or “ kisses cheeks” to me and then dissed my friend and her art I finaly blocked them but they came back to try to get me to unblock them and to that person ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN you creeped me and my friends out leave me alone were done you're cancelled!

rule 5 : stop asking for my age/ name

this one should be obvious by now but IM NOT GIVING OUT MY PERSONAL INFORMATION!!! I'm not going to tell a bunch of strangers who I am or where I am I like my privacy and I would really like staying alive and not being found one day then being kidnapped and have my organs sold on the deep web no thank you! so stop ive had this happen so much! and I'm tired of it!

rule 6 : Ask limits (new number system)

there will now be a limit of how many asks I will answer in one day so make your questions count dont spam my inbox with “dank meme” or “sup” beacuse now those asks will count so that means the more you spam the fewer asks I will answer and for those wondering my ask limit shall now be 5 to 10 asks a day so make them count

rule 7 : I'm a human please respect that

Look I may joke around about being a demon (which I am) but in all honesty I'm also a human and I need some time to have a life and do things I want to do the world dosent revolve around you and I wont get to them right away so dont get so butt hurt if I haven't replied to your ask right away

rule 8 : disabling anon (temporarily?)

Let’s see if I got 57 facts in me, lol.

My car, Sheila, is a stick shift. I’ve been dirving stick since I was 19. My dad taught me and I got it down within a day. The hardest part is stopping/going on a hill.

My favorite color is blue, but I love the darker shades of blue. They speak to me. (And they also taste good no matter what it is).

I’m 30, but I look half my age. At least according to everybody. It’s a curse. And don’t give me that, “but that’s good~”. 

I won a Xbox One X from Taco Bell last year. I’m just as surprised as you are. I’m gonna try and see if I can win the white one this year, lol.

My Steam queue and game queue in general? It’s outrageous. 

I served in the military (Air Force). I fixed radio equipment and antennas. 

For almost 3 years because I have really bad shins.

I lived in Germany when I was 2months - 4 years old. I don’t remember any of it, but we have a lot of pictures.

I got kicked out of a major university marching band because I was frustrated with a lot of things and I may have made a F-bomb laced post. (And I talked to the higher ups about stuff but they didn’t listen/did nothing about it). Someone snitched on me; still don’t know who did it. This was back when FB was college-only.

I played the clarinet from 6th grade up until that point. Should have taken up saxophone if I’m gonna be honest.

And then like a semester later, I flunked out. 

When I make OCs, I put a lot of thought into them.

I had a tough love approach to making them, but I'm way gentler now. Mostly.

I tend to make them in pairs? Or eventually they end up being together, lol. I think one pair is married?? But they all tend to have old married couple traits, I think. They *clearly* love each other.

I would make them in TS4, but I forgot what they look like... 😟

I'm 5'0.

I powerlift! Which is *very* different from Olympic Weightlifting! And bodybuilding is completely unrelated to both!

I don't look the part though. Powerlifting brings all sorts of body types.

I've been competing in the 84kg weight class for 3 years, and counting.

I've won 1 1st place, and 3 2nd place medals.

My total right now is about 610lbs for all three lifts. I've got a ways to go to start competing on regionals/nationals.

I have a meet on Saturday and I'm super nervous about it, lol.

I'm single, not sure how to mingle, and at this point... kinda don't want to?

Never really been in a relationship; some times I'm alright with this other times I'm cursing the universe.

Didn't figure this out until I was a whole ass 25 years old, and I found out via here and my hella good friend! And it's been a goddamn ride.

I *do* have a type. Well, types, but I do love characters that are strong as hell, but also really sweet??? Like they can fuck you up, but also loves baby cats. A "bad boy" but a sweet boy.

Physically?? Oof. I have a tag on my main that's like my jam, aesthetic wise. They're so handsome. But my fav body type is actually the "lumberjack' build. I like a little beef ~_~

I started making poses because a lot of poses didn't fit my boys/very slim pickings and hardly nothing spicy wise, and I could never find anything super specific that I wanted.

I pretty much learned on my own through a LOT of practice with the Pose Helper. There was like one tutorial using the pose helper, and that was it. Lots of trial and error. If you really want to go through it, go through my ts4 pose wip tag. Like alllll the way back. It was a rocky start.

I do the NSFW/spicy poses in cycles. Basically, when the mood strikes me. I'm not sure what theme I'm gonna go with for the next one though. I've been wanting to do some stripper poses, but also light bondage or something. Hmm...🤔

I do enjoy making them, but 😳

My favorite pose set is probably Bare Knuckle because, at the time, the most complex thing I made and I'm super proud of it. The idea of fighting a literal demon just... came up lol. I am considering doing another Muay Thai centered pose set, but pic refs are hard to come by. The one I used for BK deactivated :(

I use a lot of refs. It's very okay to use refs! Sometimes I have to adjust them to accommodate male frames.

I have a weighted blanket and it's fantastic and if you're able to get one, I SUPER recommend it.

I was born 2 weeks late. Yeah, lol. Sorry, mom.

I have an older half brother. He's out there doing... stuff.

I have 4 nephews. That I know of.

Up until last year, I was the only granddaughter of my grandma. Now I'm the oldest!

I am older than my uncle by 4/5 years. (He was a late/surprise baby lol)

I have a bad habit of making faces. I am *very* expressive. Basically, I'm a walking reaction gif, lol. And I have gotten in trouble when I was younger.

I know how to read maps. Like actual road maps, and I can navigate by sight too. When I was younger, my dad gave me the role on long trips to help me read and know geography. I don't get lost.

I'm pretty hungry right now...

I used to play DDR. Like, an absurd amount of it, allll the way back when Max2/Extreme came out. Now? I play when I can.

Not as good as I used to be, stamina wise, but I still get ridiculously high grades/marksbn on songs. The highest difficulty rating I was at when I peaked was 16s. That's out of a 20 scale. Now? I'm lucky to clear a 13/14. There's a HUGE skill difference.

I have trouble verbalizing things in general. When I'm writing/typing, I'm fine. But speaking?? Forget it.

I am a naturally quiet person, which tends to unnerve a lot of people? I just don't have much to say on a lot of things.

People tell me some wild shit, but uh, I forget because I have a shitty memory and attention span.

Never been in a fight, but I did punch this bully that was messing with me back in kindergarten right in the stomach. Just dropped him. My dad taught me :>

I've been on Tumblr for a LONG ass time... since 2010. I've seen shit. This blog is I think 6 years old? But only 3ish years since it became a simblr, hence the name. It was for my writings at first but ~nobody came~.

I really do love making poses, yall. Even on days where I'm feeling crummy, I try and do one pose. Don't matter what it is.

Every time I get a message saying that my posts/cc brightens someone's day, it makes my whole damn week. Thank you for nice words. I still have an anon message that was sent months ago, saying they really love John and Brian's relationship with each other, and depicting what love is. Thank you, anon 😭😭😭

Upside.

So I’m dealing with a lot at the moment.

Brandon’s officially done. Some part of me is actually kind of upset, but just because that’s a knee jerk reaction doesn’t mean I’m following it. When I first thought about all the time and advice and care I felt with him, only for me losing my cool to be enough to be the end, it made me upset. He can deny it all he wants but I’m sure he knows I’m a good person, but also human. But then I realize if the negative is what he chooses to remember and not the good, that’s not my choice to make, I don’t run the show. No matter what you present to people they pick and choose what to focus on. He mainly got upset by old tumblrs I wrote when I was mad. Yeah it hurts to lose a best friend but at least he got others so he won’t miss me at all. It’s like the glen thing all over again, and I’m a little mad at myself because I really am beginning to feel like I should not have extended myself in the first place. But unlike the glen thing I’m just gonna let this one go for good. With glen I spent years trying to regain, but I have learned that once someone makes you the devil it’s nothing you can do. Facts don’t matter either. Their mind is made up and that’s it. It’s probably best if I let him go. I noticed he never pays attention to the good stuff I say about him, only the stuff he can use to justify a reason to be upset. I apologized and I left the door open, and I even made the steps to mend things. I guess it’s time to give up on that one and finally block Brandon like so many people told me I should. It’s over and gone what’s the point of keeping hope when he has made his decision. All things come to an end. Sometimes bitterness is more powerful than I can break thru. Like I said at least he’s happy with Bryan and has real friends that he likes now so it’s time for me to find the same.

So my living situation is stressful. Kenji is super nice and sometimes not as aggressive as I would like for him to be about pushing others in the house to do more. I’m not a big fan of kids and not feeling this constant. I’m not sure what I should do. I have one person offering me a cheap room but I don’t trust the level of peace there cuz I always hear them complaining about each other. I don’t wanna move somewhere not secure. I am open to splitting a two bedroom, but the first person to ask is someone that I don’t know how they are about bills, and the second person is Dalvin, but honestly? I’m tired of being mr bad cop and being the only one who understands responsibility. I can already see myself being in a position where either he’s getting mad at me lecturing about being a good adult or me not saying anything and later exploding like I did with Brandon. The one responsible person I was considering want to bring like five people together but we don’t know each other. I’m PTSD with the whole 20s crowd. I recently saw a pic of Dalvin with Brandon, Malik, Albert, and a few others in it. Afterward I deleted all of the ones I knew off my friends list. I’m tired of half ass friends. If you only hit me when you need something or have a problem you need help solving then how are you my friend? Malik almost froze to death and I came and grabbed him from the cold, let him stay with me for weeks, let him dominate my PlayStation time and got him a custom airbrushed jacket with his favorite character at the time. And of course, he doesn’t even hit me up. He probably was only nice to get to Dalvin. Albert didn’t like that I stood up for myself and moved on to another failed relationship within a week. Sometimes I really question even Dalvin. I know he cares, but I don’t think he loves me. I think I’m useful. That’s it. If he has nothing else to do then he might hit me up. I’m sick of being useful. I want to be appreciated.

So then there is Donnell my drummer. Josh resurfaced and as much as I didn’t want to go back to working with him, because of his unprofessionalism, and temperamental attitude and his insecure jealousies, I had to, to some degree because Donnell was still learning. I respect Donnell because he can get stuff done, has a much better working attitude, and I would rather deal with a good attitude and a desire to learn than a bad attitude and prepackaged talent. So we compromised on having josh just teach him to play on Thursdays. But then Donnell didn’t show up for his lesson and didn’t call or text me about it. So Sunday comes and he’s like I’m on the way, and I told him to stay home. Regardless of friendship I don’t deal with lazy work ethic from coworkers. So he catches an attitude. I’m really sick of people getting mad when I tell them the truth.
