Every human, regardless of age, wants something or someone: as a kid, I wanted to stay up late for as long as possible and create different adventurous scenarios in my mind; as an adolescent or a teenager, I wanted to find something that would help me cope with my "unlimited imagination" (or as my classmates used to say - weird thoughts) and also, I wanted someone who would love me for what I was, who would be just as different as me, thus, could understand me more; and now, as an young adult, I still desire many things I longed for before and some new other stuff (that can be not very important for majority of people) and I feel extremely excited as I'm as close to having them as it's possible.

If you really want something or someone, if you're willing to do everything and work hard for your desire to come true, I believe, basically nothing's impossible...

And no, it's not childish to say "I want", it's not selfish or arrogant or disrespectful to others to say what you want to have or do...
