I did Eden Crowley, and he was SO fun to draw. I love how he turned out, and yes the hair isn't curls and it looks more alike Crowley's hair in The Flood, but I'm a lazy lad (as you can see with the wing)

I'm just thinking about how terrified people would be of Tartaglia.... He is protective but not in the way a dangerous dog might snarl at someone, no, his threat is an equal mix of subtle but obvious. It's an oxymoron but he manages to make it into that very specific package.

His arm is always slung around your shoulders, a massive grin on his handsome face as his piercing blue eyes stare down at anyone who thinks they could get too cute with you. He doesn't see himself as the jealous type but the thought of another person's hands touching you just rubs him the wrong way. He laughs that carefree laugh of his, the sound reverberating deeply in his throat as his adam apple bobs up and down in a teasing manner but he never once looks away.

The eyes are a window to the human soul and no one is sure if he even has a soul.

He is cold, dead, dark. Deadly. Not someone you want to spend the rest of your days with. And on paper, you agree with that sentiment.

But the thought of running away perishes from your mind the millisecond it comes because, how could you? The way he holds you is so sweet, so gentle, like you are the only thing he cherishes. His touches are feather light and his kisses are an aphrodisiac, they always make you crave more and more, you can never get enough of him.

And that is how he plans to keep it.

Crosshair ramblings

Spoilers for "Juggernaut" so...

Crosshair is not ok; we've known that since... forever. He's had like no breaks at all. He's suffered in every season and the train doesn't stop now. I just want to wrap him up in a comfort blanket and take away his worries.

When I think about his character, loyalty and identity always come to mind. Season 3 highlights just how much Crosshair has changed. He's really opened up as a person. I think after everything that's happened, he's been forced to evaluate what truly matters in his life. And what matters to him is his family.

"Because, Tantiss isn't a place I ever wanted to go back to."

This line really stuck out to me (and the fact that even mentioning Tantiss triggers his tremors). Whatever happened to Crosshair was truly horrific. What I can honestly see happening is that when the boys infiltrate Tantiss, they accidentally wander into the room where the conditioning went down and then they learn the truth. That or Cross tells them next week.

But anyways, my point is that even though Crosshair is deeply struggling, he's going to be brave in order to save Omega and go back to Tantiss. And I think that really speaks to how far he's come as a character and a person. There isn't anything he wouldn't do for his family, especially Omega. I find it really beautiful and tragic tbh. Crosshair shouldn't have to relive his trauma. He shouldn't have to suffer anymore after all endured. But he will for that little girl whom he loves so dearly. She's worth it.

It just makes me love Crosshair so much more. He is selfless. He is caring. Maybe it's the religious side of me speaking, but Crosshair's admission with the knowledge of what he will do just hit deep for me. It reminds me that life is hard. And sometimes, we have to be brave and face difficult things, especially for others we love.

He also better survive. After everything he's been through, he deserves peace and comfort with his family.

It really is kind of weird though that in BG3 we find Sarevok... worshipping Bhaal? Like, his entire thing in 1 was about taking Bhaal's place as the god of murder, right? Not serving him. And sure, yes, you can blame WotC and Larian for doing the same thing to him that they did to Viconia if you want, but I think I'm gonna go with a different explanation.

See, in Throne of Bhaal (BG2 expansion), Sarevok could be a little prickly at times, sure, but on the whole he did indeed seem happy enough to set aside his personal ambitions for power after having seen where that led. And he certainly never had any objections when it came to following me. The guy straight up encouraged me to become the new Lord/Lady of Murder with him as my right hand! And then had a whole ass alignment shift away from evil when I told him we wouldn't be doing that and it was a bad idea that wouldn't make either of us happy (are you guys spotting any recurring themes here?). So maybe a part of his earlier disinterest in serving him is just that Bhaal is, like... kind of a dick, comparatively?

And Sarevok... Sarevok only turns to him because he has nothing else left by this point. Because the person who told him his destiny was his own, who chose to give him a chance, who maybe even trusted him by refusing to magically bind him into their service, but let him walk freely at their side instead, is gone now.
