A/N: YAY! Yet another one done for @jacklesversebingo 🐞 so excited for this one, and its a little bit of 'Beau Arlen' 🤩.. hope y'all like it.

Warnings: Some language, also slight smut😱 that's all so far I know.!

"Hell no! I can't do this anymore, I can't go on pretending everything is fine, when it's not" she thought to herself glancing at the man, whom she shares a bed with! Inspecting his face as he sleeps, his brown hair, draped over his forehead, his eyes closed, his lips relaxed as he probably dreams, about something other than you.

Your not really sure when the relationship started to shift, but it's been a while now. The two of you share a bed, but it's like there's this invisible wall, between your bodies, as neither one of you hold eachother anymore.

A half smile forming on your lips as you recall the love you two shared, the way you could not keep your hands of eachother, the way your bodies were entwined till the early morning hours, tired the whole day at work as the two of you would lay all tangled up, talking for hours, about your dreams, and building a future together, but now it feels like that passion, that love, is crumbling. And now your realising all you have left is broken vows.

To have and to hold forever and always seems so unreachable, so far fetched, so painstakingly far from the truth. You hardly ever talk to eachother, the last time you tasted his lips? Can't even recall, he just waves goodbye as he goes too work, and you, are left, wondering how it all came too this.

If only you can feel his arms around you, once more, if only he can push you up against a wall, and claim you like he used too. Feeling him shift on the bed, as the alarm goes off, you get up, quickly, trying to remove the tears staining your face, you stride to the bathroom.

His deep voice laced with an Southern Accent, let's you turn around. "You alright"

You wanted too scream and say NO! But you opt out for a simple "yes"

Closing the door in his face hearing his frustrated sigh, is enough too open the flood gate burning behind your eyes.

Listening too her cry, she tries too hide it, but he heard her, laying next too him, of course he kept his eyes closed, acting like he was asleep, but all he wanted too do, is pull her closer too his chest, place loving kisses on her lips, but he knows the dynamics of their marriage has been off for awhile. Knowing it's his fault mostly, the case his been working on has kept him occupied, not really having the energy to come home, and make her feel loved like his supposed too, in full honesty he misses her, but he always had this bad habit of withdrawing if a case has gotten to much for him, not wanting to share the brutal stuff his seen, or the fact he almost got shot, if she should find that out, she'll never be able to find rest, she worries so much about him already.

Walking out of the bathroom, not a trace of the tears that just stained your face, you see him sitting there, "Beau, are you okay?"

His green eyes pierces through yours, "No, no I'm not okay, we aren't okay"

Shocked by his response, you just stood there, searching for the right words too find

He gets up, walking towards you, his voice heavy "Baby, I... I'm so sorry, I know I haven't been the best husband, hell I haven't even been a good man"

The only words you get out is "why"

His jaw clenched, running his hand over his distressed face "because, something happened at work, and..."

Your eyes widen, your voice brittle, "what? What happened?" Thinking the worst, did something dangerous happen is he cheating on you, what can it be!

He plunges down on the end of the bed, "I almost got my head blown off" seeing the fear on her beautiful face, as she's about to open her mouth to say something, he silences her "the important thing is the bullet missed me by a couple of inches, and the only thing I could think off, wasn't that I could die, it was that I will never be able too hold you again" clearing his throat, to swallow the emotion away "I know it doesn't make sense, pushing you away, when all really want to do is pull you close and never let you go, but this... This fear I feel of losing you, its clouding my judgement, its making it hard to focus on the job, I'm the sheriff, I'm the one who should be willing to first in the line of fire, but the idea of not..." He can't even form the words anymore.

You just fall down to your knees in front of him .

Analysing his face, every freckle, every line, the way his beard hugs his perfect jaw line, the dampness in his forest green eyes, his lips as he starts to speak, his voice laced with emotion "the idea of not being around, to see the two of us grow old together, it scares me to death baby" looking down to the ground, to hide the fear in his eyes

Placing your small hand underneath his chin, lifting it to where you can look him straight in the eyes, You begun to speak,your voice shaky, "Beau, darling, why didn't you tell me about this, I'm your wife, I'm here to support you through anything even if it scares me."

He thumbs away your tears, his voice low "Baby, I don't want you too think I'm weak, it's just..."

You gasp, "What! I'll never think that, you know I think the world of you, your the bravest person I know, and I love you"

Your lower lip trembling, "I just wish you told me sooner, I... I thought you," your voice only a mere whisper, "you didn't love me anymore, that you've found someone else"

Flinching at the words you just said he looks at you, "Baby, I would never, not love love you, you are my everything, honey if anything I love you more than life itself"

Sobbing frantically now, you glance at your husband , knowing he still loves you a smile tugs at your lips.

He plunges down to his knees, cupping your face he places a kiss, on your lips, without any warning his kisses becomes hungrier, his fingers playing with your hair as his tongue dances with yours in a fiery passion.

His hands roaming over your body, removing every piece of fabric, so that he can ravish you, making you feel his love as he places kisses on every little inch of your bare skin.

He lifts you up, letting you down, on the bed, you spend the rest of the morning entangled in eachother's arms, the invisible wall, crumbling and coming to a fall, as your husband, shows you exactly what you mean too him, as the two of you lay there, out of breathe, and with hearts full of love, realizing, what happened this morning, doesn't automatically fix all the problems, the two of you face, but at least now you'll face it together, as husband and wife, Mr and Mrs Arlen.

League of Villains - Minor Henchmen Profiles

This post goes out to the minor thugs! Those sacrificed to gain the League we all know and love! They were just pawns meant to be the stepping stones for a much larger plot! But here...they will get their due....

Okay, like the named guys will get their due. I'm not that minor character obssed to make profiles even for the unnamed underlings. But, yeah, due to boredom and a somewhat unhea;thy interest in the little guys I made my own headcanon profiles for the League pf Villains USJ henchman. These mooks who no one really cares about beyond seeing their butts kicked! This is just out of fun and hope that interested can get a kick out of them as well.

Victor

"Since he was a kid, he was overly praised and gained extreme arrogance for his Bullet Fingers Quirk. This lead to him becoming a bully that eventually was expelled for using Quirk on another student. After floating about with some minor street gangs (who ditched him for his abrasive personality), he formed his own gang - the Firing Squad - alongside Needle Hair and Stitched Giant (though they only really engaged in small time mugging). He signed his small gang up for the League of Villains in an attempt to gain some infamy and respect that he had long since lost."

Needle Hair

"Prefers to be called Ms. Needlehair...but no one calls her that. Needle, similarly to Victor, was a former school delinquent who had extreme arrogance for her Quirk and own vain beauty. After her bullying ring was exposed, she was kicked out of both school and home. She tried to strike it out as a femme fatale for minor gangs, but her own need to take life by the 'hair' had her go on to be a proper Villain in her own right. She found a kindred spirit in Victor and joined his Firing Squad."

Stitched Giant

"Due to his Mutant Bovini Quirk, Stitched Giant, affectionately called Stitch, is a man whose rather insecure over his own appearance due to how his body was warped because of his Quirk, as well as holding some serious unsolved anger issues. Thus, he doesn't like being out of his suit. He wanted to be a tailor, but bullying over how, seemingly, ill-fitting he was for the practice eventually had him crack and accidentally attack a client. He went on the run and eventually came across Victor & Needle. He's actually the smartest of the Firing Squad (though his buddies never really listen to his advice), and was the one to help put their costumes together."

Steel Bulwark

"A bulky Heteromorph that was the victim of serious discrimination back in the countryside. Years of being outcasted from his peers due to his Quirk had him turn bitter and lash out, making him even more isolated. He fled to the city as an adult, and found himself performing shakedowns to get by. Yet, he was left unfulfilled and desired for more...and then one day he ended up becoming recruited out of the blue for the USJ plot. Maybe he can actually make a dent in this society this time?"

Muscle Man

"Do you know who else was a bodyguard for hire but ended up being canned after slipping up one time? It certainly isn't his mother, its Muscle Man! He spent five years working as a rather respectable guard for wealthy clientele, but faced serious backlash after one of his clients picked a fight with a rather serious Villain. During his time sulking he ended up being found by a certain handy fellow who claimed he can help Muscle Man's future. Without much options, he put his lot in with the League as a henchman."

Greedy Gaping Jaw

"A carnivorous guy with a hunger for wealth and food. Greedy's scary appearance and his Quirk's need for a lot of fuel for his laser Quirk kind of made him the odd man out for a lot of social situations. Alone and eventually left homeless after repeated failed job ventures, he became a minor back alley thug that was struggling to get by. He was found dumpster diving behind a certain bar and his fate would be directed to something 'grander'."

Martial Hair

"A disgruntled senior drop out. She's the runt of her family who wasn't really liked or typically neglected in favor of her talented older siblings. While not the best student, she spent her after-school time learning martial arts and trying to reform from a streak of delinquency. She ended up running away from home in tears after overhearing the rest of her family belittle her efforts of changing. In her emotional state, she caught the attention of a misty bar owner who directed her to the League.

Varanus

"A Heteromorphic man with the personality kind of on the old fashioned side. He worked as a warehouse laborer for a number of years and was content with his life, but was framed for theft by someone else. What made matters worse was a nearby Pro Hero trying to ease the matter, but made it very clear they didn't believe Varanus either. Varanus went on the run to avoid being arrested and fell in with a minor gang that would be absorbed into the League."

Sickle Claw

"An agile, sadistic, prankster whose brain isn't nearly as sharp as his claws. His descent into villainy was a case of boredom and an awful prank gone wrong (though he isn't too upset about his new life either). He's good pals with Minotaurus and Gorilla, with the three acting as on/off again partners in crime."

Gorilla

"A down to Earth Villain who was originally a model student during her school days. In a case of self-defense gone wrong, she accidentally put a bully in a coma with her Quirk when defending her friend and was mistaken as the aggressor. With no one willing to listen to her, she had to strike out on her own. She sometimes teams up with Minotaur and Sickle Claw to form a minor gang, but Sickle grates on her nerves and Mino's stubbornness is exhausting. Thought that the League's attack on the USJ had a decent shot of working out, hence why she joined."

Minotaurus

"He just wants to run around and bash into things to his heart's content, not quite caring for the logical side of life. He's less actively malicious and more so just a chaotic force of nature that was easily swayed by a ghost to join the League."

Mummy

"A very shy young man that opts never to speak. His bandages covers wounds from his ill-tempered mother, and upon finally leaving her behind, was left aimless. Due to this lack of purpose, he wandered about until he fell the League's folds."

Thousand Eyes

"A crafty Villain that was essentially a spy for hire due to their ability to fold themselves up into, seemingly, unassuming pieces of paper. They don't usually like to outright fight people, but they were paid triple by the League to at least act as another rank and filer for the USJ attack. They are nosy and hold a good memory...though no one is truly sure if they're a 'person' per say or simply an object that somehow gained a Quirk instead."

Chomper

"Scary looks aside, Chomper was someone who actually dreamed of passing medical school and putting his healing abilities to good use. However, with the allure of dominating the niche market of back alley healer to Villains, that dream faded for one of avarice and eventually got the ear of the League. Being promised a handsome sum, this cowardly guy agreed to be in the backlines of the USJ plot, healing his allies to stall out the battle for the Villains favor."

Four Armed Zealot

"A radical man that read a reprinted book concerning pro-Meta Ability rights. Believing that society needed to be restructured to be more accommodating, he spent his days preaching the contents of this book, but often ignored. He joined the League after being shown their behemoth and become its believer - thinking with it the day of reckoning has finally come!"

Giant Palm

"One look at this guy and you think of someone who didn't read the fine print. He's just a hooligan that didn't quite know what he signed up until the day of the USJ attack. He's too scared to quit and is just hoping to make it out of this alive. He didn't choose his name, but no one cares about him to listen to his true alias."

Yashamaru

"An oni-like man whose entire life can best be described as 'consistent grunt for someone else' without really thinking if this is the way to go. He's easily swayed by power and riches, so it didn't take much for the League to find yet another body to join up with their organization. Has a soft spot for dogs and cats."

One Eyed Green Dragon

"A very harsh man who grew up in a rough environment that costed him one of his eyes. His Quirk allows him to be more durable than the average minon and he prefers an overly aggressive approach. With his life prospects rather low, he was a thug that saw no better option than the League."

Hanzo Suiden

"Cruel, confident and holding a natural air for leadership, Hanzo "the Drowned Man" is one of the more 'serious' henchmen the League recruited, with a powerful Quirk to match. He was formerly the leader of the water Villains that attacked the USJ, with the crew operating a protection ring for ships. With heftyfees for those under their care, and 'accidents' for those that tried to refuse it. This operation got the interest of a certain Demon Lord who had his apprentice introduce them to the fold. As 'captain' of his former ring, he was well liked by his crew and vice versa."

Sharkyonara

"Othwise known as Shark Man or Bye-Bites. A geeky sharkish Villain who is eager to please his superiors and holds a fondness for puns. He was Hanzo's #2 back during their protection ring days and both are good friends spanning back high school. He's insecure over the fact his Quirk doesn't actually allow him to breathe underwater, but his likable nature has him a favorite among the rest of the henchmen."

Oxy Man

"While some might scoff at having a Villain who can only produce oxygen around, Oxy Man was invaluable to the oceanic Villains since many of their Quirks lacked the ability to breathe underwater for long period of time. As such, he's earned a lot of respect for his efforts to keep the team afloat in their dirty work. Oxy is easygoing and understanding, which only adds to why he's still kept around."

Invisible Wall

"A case where the Quirk is good, but has a not-so good user. Alongisde being a leading figure in the 'stupid henchmen name' category, Invisible Wall was a petty thief that thought of himself as a criminal genius - up unti lhe found himself in a monster's cluthes when trying to steal from its master in a bar. That's the day he joined the League in exchange for his life. He's also a 'casanova' but every attempt he's made at flirting with the girls has lead to him either humiliated or begging for his life. Really, no one likes him."

Berserker

"In spite of his name, he's actually fairly timid. He tries to hide that aspect of himself by acting grandiose and making grand promises of bloodshed. His villain atitre is his old play costume that can't actually protect him that well. He wants to prove he's tough as nails and misguidely joined the League because of it."

Dragon

"A music enthusiast who is actually excellent at making rock remixes, but bad influences convinced him to become apart from a minor Villain crew instead. This crew would be lured into the League under false promises of riches."

Sharp Blade

"A ninja wannabe that obsessed over Edgeshot and wanted to be his sidekick. However, Edgeshot rebuked him for lacking both the necessary skills, discipline and even a heroic spirit. Heartbrokken and bitter, he joined the League to take revenge. After all, if the Symbol of Peace can't beat their weapon, neither can Edgeshot, right?"

Spike

"Truth be told, he didn't really want to be a Villain. He's just in it to look after his best friend and crush since childhood (who had her own problems that lead her to a life of crime). Both joined the League after a portal helped them out of a sticky situation."

Axer

"A parkour lover and daredevil turned Villain after some run-ins with annoyed police and minors Pro Heroes. Axer ended up falling onto a portal rather than a roof ledge one day, and so his fate was entangled as a member of the League -believing he can get the greatest rush as a minion there."

Hard Head

"Formerly, 'Muscle Moto of the Road' and leader of his own biker gang. His gang ran afoul of an irate Mirko one day and he lost both his team and his bike to her. He was drowning his sorrows in the League's bar when they offered him a chance at revenge if he helped take down All Might."

Gravitational Spring

"One of the leading runners of 'stupid code names' concerning the League's henchmen. Spring was former pole vaulter with dreams of the Olympics, but accusations of him cheating with his Quirk had his hopes crushed. In despair, his life spiraled to alcoholism...but when he ranted his life's story at a certain one, they gave him another option to strive for."

Tesla

"Of the 72 villains recruited as henchmen to the League, Tesla stands out the most and is considered almost the unofficial leader of the grunts overall. Formerly an electrician, his descent came when he was in a dispute with the new manager of the company he worked at. Hired due to nepotism, the manager cutting corners and and beign cheap about his employee's equipment lead to their busienss going into the red. When Tesla tried to convince him to change, he ended up being fired. In response? Later that night, Tesla set fire to his old boss' home. Realizing he'd be caught if he stuck around town, Tesla ran away and was left hiding out in the city's underworld until he was found by the League in their attempts to recruiting their attack force. Testla is cautious, calculating, very competent, ruthless and observant - traits that him entrusted with jamming the signals at the USJ. He takes his new position very seriously and is loyal to his new 'company', even if he does have 'issue with the management' so to speak. He's hoping this 'manager' will straighten out...but if push comes to shove, well..."
