rewritten roleplay starter, need a Mirabel it's a brotp thing alright? My idea -- Bruno becomes evil and Mirabel confront him to help him. Only love and flames of thousand of magic candles can bring him back.

Bruno was happy to return to his family and this is the merit of his niece Mirabel. Casita fixed Bruno's tower and he sometimes spent time in his room. He spends a lot of time with his nieces and nephews. Mirabel worked for a long time in her room, she prepared a gift for Tio Bruno, a handmade crossbody bag called mochila, a bag was green with a small hourglass on it, also magic candle and others that represents the members of family Madrigal and there is letters on front 'to Tio Bruno, we love you.' Mirabel wondered if her tio would like it. Once at night, Bruno had a nightmare, he tossed and turning in his bed, he sees someone in front of him. That person was in the hood and then he recognizes himself in that person who standing next to him, Bruno widened his eyes in fear, he stepped back in defense. But Evil Bruno laughing evily and walking towards him, "You come to visit, huh?" "W-who are you? What do you want from me?" Bruno asked. "I'm you, of course. I want to say that soon I'll be in control and you can't stop me. Don't worry, I'll take care of your precious family." he made a sadistic smile. "Don't you dare to hurt my family!" Tears flowing down his face. "Are you scared, Brunito?" his evil reflection leaned closer to him. Bruno closed his eyes in anexity and fear. His bad dream is ended and he woke up, still in tears, sobbing softly. Dolores hears her tio crying, she wondered what's wrong with her Tio Bruno. At the morning after breakfast Dolores tells Mirabel, Isabela, Camilo and Antonio and Luisa what she heard at yesterday's night. Isabela suggested that they're should take a walk in the forest with Tio Bruno and cheer him up, everyone liked the idea. Mirabel decided to show Bruno his gift and maybe asking him what's bothering him when Tio Bruno is ready to talk about it.

Spaceverse art!

Okay so I haven't decided exactly how I'm organizing these yet, but here's my first batch of the Spaceverse art posts! I've got a backlog of at least 205+ artworks to archive for this, so I had to get started somewhere. This is the original RP (and basis for my novel in progress) that I write with my friend Sakume, dating back some years now (maybe since 2019?) I don't have a title for the novel yet, so this is simply known as Spaceverse for now.

These characters originally came from some old forums we wrote on (circa 2006 at the start), and one day I came up with a new AU for them in a completely new space fantasy setting, with a new plot and new origins for the characters. I asked my friends Sakume and Cookie to participate, and this story was born. Cookie no longer actively writes in this RP with us, but some of their characters still show up in the art here and I'm very grateful for their contributions.

Sakume and I still write together and are adding new characters all the time! :) I grouped this batch of art to include sketches that mainly featured characters hailing from the planet of Illumina or the moon sanctuary of Nova Lux.

In order here we have: sketches of Cadenza, Altair/Vivace (her sister in the novel version, unrelated in the RP but may retcon, also Fabi/Alex's late mom and Anton's late wife), then Cadenza's daughter Luisa and a sketch of Cadenza in prison back on the Vault where it all started. Then we have Luisa and (spoiler!) young/child form Dawa, Cadenza with Adam, Adam himself, and then a bunch of sketches of their family together. Following that, we have Queen Venus (aka Elena), Cadenza's mom Sonya, Sonya with Leona, Xiulan, sketches of Cadenza and a masked Xiulan, Mingzhu, Joan (not an Illumin character but hey she ended up on my sketch page back then), older/adult form Dawa, young Dawa, Mingzhu, Cadenza's dad Galliard, Louis (another non-Illumin here to fit page space), Cadenza's sister Luminari, Cadenza herself, Lu with her husband Jaster, Simha (revamped character to replace Leona) and then Cascadia Riveria (Faer character, but happened to be on that sketchbook page.) Then lastly a few pencil sketches I missed, Xiulan, Mercy with Ramiro, Luminari and Cadenza, and some of my initial concept sketches of Spaceverse Cadenza and Luisa.

At the very end, we have some much older sketches that predate this RP, with Mother Carla, Ancient Ren of the Order, and Cadenza's late husband Paris (along with a sketch of Cadenza from a previous story where she was a human mage with shadow magic), previous versions of Vivace, Algretta, Luminari, Arietta, Cadenza, Sonya, Galliard, Reymundo, Izumi, Xiulan, Sarai (an angelo who hasn't appeared in the RP yet, but I might adapt), Shui Ya of Nova Lux, and Fletcher (a Faer character, but he happened to be on this page.) I still need to draw many of these characters some new portraits as their phantasm selves in this storyverse/setting, but I'm saving these older drawings for reference.

Some characters are going to show up that don't quite fit into these groupings because I tend to just draw whoever I feel like on my paper that fits before scanning them in. x3 Sometimes I edit them after to reorganize, but often times not.

Adam and Jaster belong to Sakume, and Leona and Joan belong to Cookie. The rest of the characters belong to me, but big credit to both of my friends for their help developing the world, organizations and characters, particularly in this case, Cookie brainstorming the Order of Lux Aeterna/Nova Lux with me, and Sakume brainstorming so many of the Vault characters and more.

Also small side note: I've been using the surname "Madrigal" since 2006 for Cadenza and her family waaay back on Zelda Universe forums, but I'm super happy it's way more popular a name now thanks to Encanto and I do love that movie. The movie was in no way a basis for these names, but I love to see more Latin culture and names in media, so I'm all for it. ^_^

How do you think Lance Strongbow and Luisa Madrigal would work as a ship?

You crack me up. XD I actually RP as Lance in a Lance/Luisa (aka Lansa) ship!

I think Lance would be ridiculously attracted to Luisa, and that Luisa would be extremely flattered that someone found her more appealing than Isabella. However, I also think it would depend greatly upon when in Lance's history the ship took place. He hasn't always been willing to change, after all.

All the RP plots I've got him in so far are pre-reformation, and he's not exactly stringing her along, but he's not exactly committed, either. Those RPs are a lot of fun to write!

Morning was on its way, the sun peeking ever so slightly over the mountains that encircled the little village tucked away in greenery. As the light grew brighter the Encanto came to life, farmers rising as the sun did to begin a days worth of chores and the smells of breakfast pulling the tired people from their beds.

On the hill stood a home, colorful and bright and covered in vegetation. As the light touched the walls, warming the stones in their wake, the building seemed to shudder, roof tiles clicking and windows swinging open in what could only be considered a morning stretch, before settling down once more.

The inside of the home itself was a small flurry of activity. Tiles clacked, shutters swung about happily, and boards tapped at doors that shone just as bright as the sun. The kitchen moved about of its own accord. A flame was started and the coffee began its brew, plates and cups were shuffled into position by counter tiles, chairs were arranged at the table as if dancing their way over. The home could feel its inhabitants waking, rising, some groaning some sighing. The coffee poured and the cups sat in wait for those hard to risers, a cabinet door squeaking in amusement as the tiles in the courtyard bounced about happily, clacking in anticipation of the new day.

Blaine Howard (Bolt, Bolt) - You totally have magic powers...not! Will you get your head out of clouds and in Reality Land anytime soon?

Tarou Nakajima (Terra, Kingdom Hearts) - Training this, practice that, blah, blah. All this talk and all these rules and no actual action! How boring. You come to Swynlake to change that. Surely this town known for magical disasters is better for learning than normal training!

Helen Parr (Helen Parr, The Incredibles) - Living as an out Magick after hiding it for so long is liberating, most of the time. It comes with its own challenges and expectations, but you're ready to face this new chapter head on!

Bernard Newhart (Bernard, The Rescuers) - You've always wanted your big shot to help people, to be useful on a grand scale, and now you've got it. You've been chosen to come to Swynlake on your very first mission and you're not about to mess it up.

It's been a few months since Bruno returned to his family and the magic has been saved. Everything was peaceful and cheerful, he was sitting along his family at the breakfast table outside, Mirabel was talking about something with Antonio, Isabela drank juice from a cup, Abuela Alma smiled seeing everyone happy, Camilo was telling some joke, Dolores was silent and listened to what Antonio and Mira chatting about. Juileta and Agustín looking at each other fondly, this time there's a rainbow over Pepa's head, that's the sign that she's happy so her husband Felix is happy too, Luisa glanced at her sibling with a sincere smile.

That night, Bruno had a nightmare, he tossing and turning in his sleep, he saw a dark figure in front of him. It was a man in the hood, when the stranger take off his hood, Bruno widened his eyes in fear, it was him but evil version of him. Bruno look away in anxiety, his evil reflection laughed evily and walked towards him, "How lovely that you come here." "W-who are you?" Bruno's voice cracks. "I'm you of course." he replied. "I'm not like you! What do you want from me?" Bruno expressed. "Soon I'll be in control and you will not stop me, don't worry, I'll take care of your precious family." His evil reflection chuckled. "Don't you dare to hurt my family!" Bruno screamed anxiously. "Are you scared, Brunito?" he laughs evily as he walked towards the man he talking to. Bruno stepped back and lowered his head crying, he wanted this dream to end right now. Everything went to black and Bruno woke up, he started sobbing softly and he don't wanted to woke up anyone else in the house, though Dolores hears him crying, she wondered why her tio is crying. On next morning, everyone having breakfast outside, Bruno feel himself exhausted and he didn't noticed that Dolores whispered to Mirabel that Tio Bruno cried last night. That upsetting Mira and she decides to cheer him up after breakfast.

After breakfast Mirabel finding Bruno looking through the window thoughtfully, she called him and he turned his head towards her. Mirabel said that she has something for him, her tio was confused but follows her inside her room anyway, she holding mochila, an a handmade crossbody bag, that bag was green and there's was a small hourglass on it, butterfly, a magic candle and more and the letters on the front 'to Tio Bruno, we love you.' Mirabel showing it to her tio and said that she made it herself and asked if he likes his gift, Bruno taking the bag and glanced at mochila properly. "Oh, that's really lovely, Mirabel! Thank you." He embracing her into a hug.

There had been no time to think. He had just seen the movement in the grass and then reacted. Which mean that he had grabbed and hoisted the person, that had been heading straight into the direction of the grass, into his arms. As he turned away from the shrub he was focused on the quick movement that slithered through the leaves and not so much the person that he had picked up.

That is until she shouted.

"Oh! Sorry!" Hunk quickly took a step back from the grass and gently placed Luisa down on the ground. "There was a snake. I-I didn't mean... Sorry."
