Hot take but I can't stand John B and Sarah this season I hated his storyline with his dad and hated Sarah's with Topper I get that she wasn't feeling great but why does she have to cheat? This is an ongoing thing every season Jarah is supposed to be technically married so it makes this situation worse
Some of my biggest grievances with this season were the amount of screen time Big John got and Sarah’s storyline with Topper (both of which resulted in a serious lack of group screen time of all the pogues, which is the beating heart of the show — and this lack of group scenes was easily my biggest issue with this season).
I understood why they did what they did with Big John, but I honestly feel like he could’ve stayed dead. I don’t think he added enough to the storyline this season for it to be worth bringing him back — his scenes were boring, he didn’t have many qualities for viewers to root for, he was super mean to John B for most of the season and (sadly) the actor was average. There could have been another way for the pogues to dive into the treasure hunt together.
I was annoyed with the Stopper storyline, not only because we’ve done this before, it’s a waste of time, it feels OOC for Sarah, but because episode 5 showed us how Topper can be involved in the show in a great way, without being a love interest for Sarah. He was a great unexpected ally for the Pogues and Austin North provided such great comedic relief in that heist episode — I’d have loved to see more of him in that sense, rather than the (predictable, dull) route they took instead.
All of that said, I do still root for John B and Sarah and don’t dislike their characters! I think Chase and Cline still did great with the writing they were given this season (although I’m unsure Cline could ever top the performance she managed in season two) and I’ve got my fingers crossed for no more on/off bullshit from Jarah B on the other side of the time jump.

U like madelyn cline?
Tbh i wasn’t a fan of her bf this movie but that could just be bc i didn’t like her character in outer banks, but after watching glass onion I’ve grown to her a bit
idk i’m still on the fence but i thought she portrayed whiskey really well and added good depth to her character that I actually wish we had gotten to explore more

Just finished episode 3 of X-Men: 97, and my only thought is…wow those writers must have been horny.

How weird must it have been to know you’re interacting with your mother’s original because Mom was the clone?

X-men '97 can call clone Jean Madelyn Pryor all it wants and it won't make her Madelyne.
Madelyne was her own person, with her own story and her own memories; this is just a clone of Jean, with Jean's memories

i don't think it would help necessarily but i do think maddy needs to kill all of the x-men and bathe in their blood and realise this isn't very fulfilling actually and move on. but she needs to kill first.
