When new actors take over established characters sometimes the prior portrayer of the character extends well-wishes. We have two new examples.

New Trailer for 'Monarch' Unleashes the Legacy of the MonsterVerse
New Trailer for 'Monarch' Unleashes the Legacy of the MonsterVerse #Monarch @Legendary
The MonsterVerse is expanding! Perhaps one of the only good cinematic universe clones to come out of the age of MCU knock-offs has been Legendary’s MonsterVerse. Starting with Gareth Edward’s Godzilla in 2014, the franchise has managed to stay afloat with solid entries like Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and 2021’s Godzilla Vs. Kong; all of which I’ve frankly really enjoyed!…

Came across your Harry Potter alternative for adults. Do you you have any recommendations for kids?
The Bartimaeus sequence would be ok for older kids. There isn't much with the same potential for fandom. A lot of YA series are shorter and less well developed because publishers just wanted to blast them onto the market and get some of that sweet JKR money. That's why you get so many crappy cash grabs that devolve into brain melting nonsense after 2-3 books like the Michael Vey series, Gone, Maze Runner, and Lorien Legacies.
Here are some short series that aren't much like Harry Potter but that I liked as a kid around the same time I liked Harry Potter:
Percy Jackson (obviously. If any YA series could take on Harry Potter in terms of scope and fandom it's probably this one. Kid with ADHD discovers he's actually a demi-god and has to go on adventures and battle monsters. The series racks up a hugely diverse cast over time.)
Airborn (alternate history with airships and lots of steampunk adventuring, made me more interested in engineering and zoology, and the series has a satisfying ending.) Airman (just a single book sadly, which I liked even after I'd outgrown the Artemis Fowl books and gotten annoyed by them. Young kids might prefer Artemis Fowl.)
LionBoy (All I remember is t's about a kid who has asthma and can talk to lions, but I liked it a lot in middle school.)
Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld (similar vibes to Airborn but it's set in an alternate history of WW1, the books also have some truly awesome illustrations)
The Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima (high fantasy so it's no Harry Potter, but the main character is an urchin who becomes a wizard, so...) Her urban fantasy series The Warrior Heir is also good but pretty much revolves around human trafficking and an ancient blood feud.
Pendragon (eh... this one is borderline cash grab while still being fun. It's a good series overall but the conclusion is a little eh. Local high school boy discovers he can travel to alternate realities and is destined to fight a very evil villain who I always thought was cooler than Voldemort)
Inkheart (a personal fave I first read at 12 and still like to re-read at 30. Magic system is a little whack but the story does a great job of presenting truly evil villains through a lens of childhood.) Funke also has the new ongoing series, Mirrorworld, about a guy who travels through mirrors into a fairytale world, but that one's a little more mature.
The Knife of Never Letting Go (sci-fi, kind of like a cooler Avatar. Don't watch the movie. Very creatively written book with serious themes of imperialism, fascism, and misogyny—but in a way that kids can enjoy.)
Ranger's Apprentice (another kind of eh one in retrospect. Good for younger kids. Has some great characters but does devolve into a bit of a cash grab in later books. Harshest criticism is that the characters drink an unreasonable amount of coffee.)
I'll end on
City of Masks by Mary Hoffman (this one is a hidden gem. Urban fantasy but it's weirdly obsessed with Italian City-States. Long-ish series with a diverse cast and great recurring characters. It favors political intrigue over the magic system. Book 1 has themes of struggling with terminal illness and loss, but each book in the series introduces a new main character with a new personal struggle to overcome.)

I don’t understand how the world is romanizing Elvis Presley & Priscilla Beaulieu’s relationship but have R.Kelly locked up, having P.Diddy investigated, Harvey Weinstein locked up, Michael Jackson legacy is tarnished, & wait so many more men. But Elvis gets multiple movies & gets this “God’s gift to music” legacy smh it’s disgusting!
Priscilla was 14 when they met and he groomed her for years until they were married smh it disgust me how Priscilla tries to make it seem normal. Letting Austin Bulter promote that autobiography movie was insane & disgusting. YT people always erasing what they want they literally change history while you living it!
P.S.
Elvis Presley got all his moves from BLACK PEOPLE ANYWAY! Please stop acting like he was the original performer that saved music🙄

PERSONAL NAKSHATRA ANALYSIS p4
Shatabhishak nakshatra p1
Tumblr media
The Veiling Star. The Power to Heal.
nakshatras characteristics:
Translation:  A hundred healers or hundred physicians  Symbol: Empty circle, thousand flowers or stars  Animal Symbol : A female horse  (pairs with ashwini) Presiding Deity:  Lord Varuna, the God of rain  Controlling/Ruling Planet:  Rahu  Ruling Deity of the Planet:  Durga Nature : Rakshasa (demon)  Mode:  Active  Number:  24  Gender:  Neutral  Dosha: Vata  Guna:  Tamasic  Element:  Ether  Disposition:  Movable  Bird: Raven Upward Facing Direction: South Colour: Blue Green Trimurti: Shiva/Dissolution Gotra/Clan: Sage Atri.
Tumblr media
nakshatra quick overview:
shatabhishak is the maturation of rahu, here we are going to see how this nakshatra behaves, mainly in pop culture, but this time saturn is involved as he is the ruler of aquarius.
this nakshatra is about scientific breakthroughs, fame, technology (like cyberpunk visuals), opposition to the king and kingdom (opposite to magha), outlaws and outcasts etc, and on its "healed performance" we can see amazing healers and advisers like carl jung. (not confirmed)
Pop culture manifestation:
Justin bieber ( grew up on rahu mahadasha, and have sun-saturn shatabhishak among his aquarius stellium)
Tumblr media
although i personally see him as more of a anuradha man, because he's a first house rahu anuradha BUT he have mars on aquarius so.. i mean to each their own i suppose.
justin grew up during his rahu mahadasha with the lord conjucted his aquarius stellium (sun, saturn, mars) and today he is known as one of the biggest male stars after Michael Jackson (that have a shatabhishak lagna) (when i am saying after Michael i am not saying that justin took his legacy or anything like that what i am trying to say is that to me after mj i haven't seen anyone with this level of fame.)
he was discovered when he was a kid playing on the streets by scooter braun, his former manager (btw i just checked and scooters mars fall in his 7th, since mars is the significator of the 3rd i am assuming that they might have been brothers on the past life.. just a random guess btw because omg this man took justin and payed his bills he basically gave justin a life). after that justin gain massive fame and became one of the most famous child stars of the 00's
here rahu manifests as a troublemaker who surrendered to fame and life pleasures as justin surrender to drugs and the rich lifestyle but I don’t blame him is not like he had the choice because rahu mahadasha is a cloudy dasha.
Michael Jackson
Tumblr media Tumblr media
michael was also a child star but this time he was on a band with his brothers, the jackson 5. eventually, Michael followed a solo career and became one of the most famous pop stars of the world. he used to suffer with vitiligo, which results in white patches on the skin and sensitivity to sunlight.
to me both fit in the same category of at least example of manifestation, even tho justin was way more "rahunian" ( he was arrested, was a drug-addicted, and was involved in so many scandals) both of them were harassed by the media since childhood, they were barely a child and they were working already (saturn usually makes the native suffer earlier)
the main difference is that michael embodied the humanitarian part of aquarius, and shatabhishak , per say, he was a man of the people and he was also very loved by the society… justin in the other hand despises the paparazzi and even threw a chair on the public on day..
do keep in mind I am comparing both due to placements and fame I’m not saying they are the same person okay.
both child stars with a huge legacy that had no choice but to work to be able to live and maintain their families showcasing the saturn part of shatabhishak (and justin was able to get away with a lot of mess that was rahu).
Tumblr media
quick mention of evils presley who stole someone else’s music and became also another pop culture star with a legacy. (the famous aquarius characteristic stealing someone else’s work and gaining fame with it).
Tumblr media
beyond the most common known traits of rahu this time we have, because of lord varuna, the deity of the nakshatra, we have natives who have a deep sense of justice and ends up behaving like a punisher of those who have sinned.
deep sense of justice with a deep harshness hidden, also due to their tamastic nature.
like che guevara who have a shatabhisha moon
Tumblr media
and benjamin franklin who discovered the electricity and is considered one of the founding father of the us
and vladimir p**** with his d9 ketu in shatabhisha.
the shadow side of shatabhisha is the lack of control especially to keep “the order and punish the wrong ones”
for the thief example we have pablo escobar (with lagna )
now with innovation we have:
steve jobs (sun) the found of apple
Tumblr media
we also have gianni versace with his moon
Tumblr media
overall shatabhisha is mainly linked with pop culture trends, singers (a lot of singers) and actors (ex: miranda cosgrove icarly) , models and extremists. for this first part I wanted to clear the most known part of the constellation stereotype and I will include a more analysis on the healing part and extremism later on.
thank you for reading until the end I hope I was able to help someone please feel free to leave feedback and suggestions for next posts if you want to :)
readings are open.

25th January marks the annual celebration of Burns Night - a time to celebrate Scotland's favourite son, and world renowned poet and song writer Robert Burns who was born on this day 1759.
I have covered Oor Rabbie on may occasions so on this day I hope to bring you a few facts about Scotland's National Bard and his legacy.
Known as somewhat of a ladies man, Burns is known to have fathered 12 or 13 children, depending on the source, to 4 different women. His last born child, Maxwell, was born on the same day as his funeral 25 July 1796, meaning his wife Jean Armour missed his send off.
As a lad growing up in Ayrshire, Burns was always fond of supernatural stories, most of which were told to him by an old widow who helped out on his father's farm. These stories no doubt had an influence on his writings in the future and perhaps were the inspiration for his classic masterpiece, Tam O'Shanter and the lesser known Adress to the Deil and Halloween. Even in these poems he flattered the fairer sex with his words, this from the latter poem.....
The lasses feat, an' cleanly neat, Mair braw than when they're fine; Their faces blythe, fu' sweetly kythe, Hearts leal, an' warm, an' kin':
Of course Burns also gives another of his favourite subjects a mention in this verse, "the deil himsel," Look it up it's another guid yin!
Burns didn't always want to stay in Scotland - he hoped to move to the Caribbean island of Jamaica. Although following the success of his poetry collection 'Poems, Chiefly in the Scottish Dialect' (or the Kilmarnock Edition as it is known), he opted to move closer to home, settling in Edinburgh for a time.
For all his fame, Burns never forgot his humble roots. His love for farming stayed with him throughout his life and his writing often dealt with issues affecting the poorer classes, notably highlighting the need for greater social equality. Indeed he is known as the Ploughman Poet, a nod to his farming life.
And on his legacy, Burns has gathered some very famous fans since his passing, US president Abraham Lincoln could recite Burns’ works by heart. Bob Dylan says that ‘A Red, Red Rose’ by Burns is his source of greatest creative inspiration and Michael Jackson song Thriller is said to have been inspired by Tam O'Shanter.
In Japan at pedestrian crossing you don't get beeps like here in Scotland, they play a rendition of the Burns song ‘Coming Through The Rye’.
There are more statues in honour of Rabbie than any other male figure in history, only surpassed in total by Queen Victoria. (I am not including religious statues).
In 2005 Robert Burns was the first person ever to feature on a bottle of Coca Cola, about a million were made they currently trade for around £10 and I have one, unopened in my kitchen cupboard.
Arguably Burns most famous song, Auld Lang Syne, has appeared in over 170 Hollywood films including The Apartment, It’s A Wonderful Life and When Harry Met Sally. , but he only rewrote the verse, he sent the poem to the Scots Musical Museum in 1788 indicating that it was an ancient song but that he'd been the first to record it on paper. The phrase 'auld lang syne' roughly translates as 'for old times' sake', and the song is all about preserving old friendships and looking back over the events of the year.
In the US city of Atlanta, there is a life-size imitation of Burns’ first home in Alloway, South Ayrshire, although it doesn't have the famous thatched roof.
In Scotland, there are some 20 official Burns memorials dotted around the country, from Aberdeen to the final resting place of Burns in Dumfries, which commemorate his journey from Ayrshire to “Auld Lang Syne”.
‘My Heart’s in the Highlands’ was translated and adopted as the marching song of the Chinese resistance fighter in the Second World War.
In 2009 STV viewers voted Robert Burns ‘The Great Scot’, beating the likes of William Wallace, Robert the Bruce among others.
There are Burns Clubs scattered across the globe, but the very first one, known as The Mother's Club, was founded in Greenock in 1801. They held the very first Burns Supper on what they thought was his birthday, January 29th 1802, only to discover that his birthday was actually January 25th!
Since then Burns suppers have been held worldwide.
I know some of you out there will toil to understand some of Burns's poetry, don't fear you will find the Best of Robert Burns, translated into the "de'il's tongue" just Click here...
The song Ae Fond Kiss, was one of my mums favourites the words "Never met-or never parted, We had ne'er been broken-hearted" are inscribed on her grave......"

The Jackson family was poor. Joe beat his sons. Michael was physically beaten if he got anything wrong. Michael had a lot of mental health and physical health problems and he just didn't have a good support system. It didn't stop him from pissing off evil people with the truth though. They made him pay for it. They're still trying to tarnish his name and legacy.
Unlike Taylor who doesn't have the spine to stand up for what's right. Couldn't even sign the cease fire. Joe did.
The only Nepo baby is Taylor. Her daddy bought her career.

🔥 + Tyler 🤷‍♀️
ooh unpopular opinion about Tyler. Nice.
Tyler did more for Caroline’s development or should I said personality change than he ever gets credit for. Ironically, I’ve seen take that it’s Caroline who needed to help Tyler and uplift him in the plot. One of them came from a legacy and is the first successful hybrid. The other was a turned vampire who just existed. I say this as a huge forwood stan. Throwing Care in the mix of Tyler’s first changes showed her compassion.
This is a fault of how tvd showed friendships but Tyler only had one friend the entire time and that was Matt. I think about Tyler’s funeral. Everything about it seems fake. Tyler was sacrificing for them and yet none of these people gave even half of that for him. One of the biggest examples in this is when Chris the hybrid was killed and Tyler had to explain that he mattered to him. It was a constant misunderstanding or never for that matter either Tyler continuing to lessen him just for the sake of doing so.
Tyler has the best werewolf transition across all three shows. I’m not arguing it. Michael Trevino killed that scene and every single of them. The other transitions are just…eh. With that being said Tyler’s one of the sassiest characters in the show. He always has a side comment about anybody.
We know Richard abused him. While Carol never physically harmed him her condoning this perfect image for family since Richard was the major was just as bad. I think that’s why Tyler connected so well with Hayley. They don’t show her adoptive parents but do mention she was on a boat when she triggered the curse and was outcasted. Her parents kicking her out sounds like they valued the image more than her so. Think about how Carol saw Vicki when Tyler did try to bring her around.
Random dynamics I would’ve loved to see is: Tyler and Jackson. Tyler and Jackson both had some issues with leadership however I think they could’ve done so well together. Ya know, with the acknowledgement that Hayley got all those wolves killed.
Putting morals on Tyler for trying to kill/kidnap Hayley/Hope while accepting everything Klaus did to him (because he’s supposed to be evil) is bullshit.
Forgot one but Tyler choosing werewolves over everyone else makes sense when you remember he’s the only one in the MFG bubble.
