The Fool Waits
The fool waits
For conditions
To be right before
Being happy.
And even then, it is fleeting
Maintain a joyous
Attitude, always....
An open heart is the best medicine,
Open it a little more
Wth every breath.
Approach every act
As if it were your
Last on Earth.
Think,
If my next birth were
Determined by this act alone,
What karmic impact
Will be left on my loved ones and
The world in general.
By this word, thought, or deed?"
Seek to make
Peace without
Judging who is
Right or wrong.
Walk away
From argument.
Heal old and new
Wounds before
They get infected.
Do not talk about people behind their back, Quickly over look their mistakes,
As well as your own.
If you stop from doing just these things, you will
Have produced more positive karmic seeds, than there are atoms
Scattered though-out the entire Universe!
At various times and various places,
There will be earthquakes,
Floods, famine, fire, disease,
And even collisions with astral bodies.
Such things are not to be feared...
If you are living with the thought,
"Like me all that live want to be protected, Loved and accepted I will help them"
During troubled
Times, if someone
Says,
"Pray to my God
Or lose your head!"
Better to live without
A head then to live
With one owned
By another.
Find your own truth,
Question everything.
Do the next right thing,
And your life will be like sweet incense...
Be sincere,
Live according to your true nature.
It's better to be a sincere fool,
Than to fake that you are wise.
People can be helped
By the truth of your brokenness,
But not by the lie of your wholeness.
When you do these practices
Stress and worry cannot
Find you.

Boulder Noir: The Shadow Knows
Frank now felt he was officially a PI since someone had whispered "Psst" from out of the shadows.
Walking back to his car Frank heard someone utter. “Psst Buddy” out of the shadows. Wow, his first case and his first “Psst” from the shadows all in the same week. Things were really shaping up. Frank walked towards the shadow to investigate but he became a bit disoriented. It was 6 pm and the Sun was shining directly on the bare front of a building. There should not have been any shadow to hide…

May 8, 2016: While this was a pinnacle day in my life, aspects of it were only surface level. This past summer on the pacific crest summit was a beginning of a want to look closer at the overview of aspects of my life touched while attaining a contemplative degree, in yoga and taiji, at Naropa University. #naropa https://www.instagram.com/p/CjzPymGLEXN/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Comprendere mente e meditazione - Sogyal Rinpoche
Comprendere mente e meditazione – Sogyal Rinpoche

The famous meditation master Tilopa once said to his student Naropa: "Son, it is not appearances that bind you, it is your Shenpa to them." Shenpa is a Tibetan term that refers to all the grasping and aversion we have to experience - all the push and pull.
So what Tilopa is suggesting, is that it is not the thoughts and emotions that rough you up, but rather all of our preferences and clinging

"You can alter your surroundings by altering your point of observation, and that is an act of magic that is performed by every artist. You can't teach anybody anything, they don't know, already on some level. You can't show anyone anything they haven't already seen. They just won't see it.
Of course, there are people who just don't want to see. There's always the danger to see more than you can take, and consider the dedicated professional non-seers are in all positions of power. And non-seeing is an escalating process. The less you see today, the less you will see and so forth."

Samsara ~ Naropa
The mind, deluded by the appearance of samsara, Sees the faults of others with the senses.
It is darkened by the prison of samsara;
It is made intolerable by the fire of samsara;
It is caught in the spider web of samsara;
It is stuck in samsara as the bee is in nectar;
It is encased in samsara like a silkworm in a cocoon.
There is no substance to the hollow tree of samsara.
Samsara is like the moon's reflection in water, Without essence;
Samsara is like an animal chasing a mirage;
He who desires samsara falls into a pit.
Samsara is like being trapped in the jaws of a crocodile;
Samsara is like wandering in the land of the rakshas;
Samsara is like a poisonous snake which destroys anyone who sees or touches it;
Samsara is bordered by the precipice of karma;
Samsara is like a wave in water, or fog;
Samsara is tied by the lasso of karma;
Samsara is bound by the seal of karma;
Samsara is the density of darkness;
Samsara is the deep mud of the three poisons;
Samsara is the dance of impermanence;
Samsara is the enchantment of this life;
Samsara is the shadow of birth and death;
Samsara is a merciless hunter;
Samsara is snared by the hound of death;
Samsara is a vast, sorrowful field of grasping and fixation;
Samsara is the galloping horse of the eight worldly dharmas;
Samsara si caught by the iron hook of desire;
Why should I not search for the Lama While I have this precious, impermanent body?
Mahasiddha Naropa

"True illuminates have no dreams. Dreams are for those who are asleep. True illuminates live in the higher worlds, out of the physical body, in a state of intensified wakefulness without ever dreaming." - Samael Aun Weor
Dream Yoga
The effort to awaken the consciousness in the dream state is called Dream Yoga. This term is most known from the tradition of Tilopa, Naropa, Marpa, and Milarepa, although the tradition of Niguma also includes Dream Yoga. Yoga comes from the Sanskrit word "yug," which means to "reunite" or "yoke together." This is the same as the root of our word religion, the Latin word "religare,"which means "to bind together." What is sought in both cases is the union of our consciousness with its source, but this can only happen when our consciousness is awakened and purified of all that is unclean.
The yogic tradition of Tilopa has been maintained in Tibetan Buddhism for hundreds of years. It is a series of teachings of which dream yoga is a vital part. It has been practiced and taught by all the Dalai Lamas, and such great initiates as Tsongkhapa and Milarepa.
The basic goal of Dream Yoga is to harness the power of the dream state and use it to awaken the consciousness. You can learn more about this by reading scriptures from the tradition.

You should try the social sciences department at the university of Chicago. Or Burning Man. Or the hippier parts of rural New England or the Pacific Northwest. Try taking an EMT training course then doing a 10 day silent meditation retreat. Then go wander around Meow Wolf in Santa Fe. That should put you in the right headspace. You’ll likely find yourself a Misha-ish type somewhere around there. NPR headquarters also probably a good place to lurk looking for Mishalikes. Possibly the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University in Colorado? #WheresMisha #NevermindI’llFindSomeoneLikeYouuuu
you are so right bestie!! finding a misha is actually a science and i'm trying to develop a master thesis on it alskdfj
