I haven't been back there in years,

to the place where the mountains dip their toes in the straight,

peaks peaking across the waters

at Victoria.

I haven't been back to ride on the backs of ferries,

eyes full of Seattle

as she shimmers on the water late at night.

How she shines.

I haven't been back in so long

to search the coast for sea glass,

or hike the emerald forests,

or hunt the sweetest blackberries from the side of the road,

or bring home arms of dahlias,

or soak up a summer shower...

I haven't been back, but still,

my heart is holding on to every memory made there

in the Port of Angeles.

The journey into Port Angeles was winding roads and towering trees. Finally the landscape we had hoped for in WA! We were greeted with views of mountain peeks and a peaceful evening.

Port Angeles, Washington: our new home for the next 5 nights!!! Our campsite backs right onto a farm with cows and an AMAZING view of the Olympic NP Mountain Range. Found a stellar local burger spot (The Rail) and enjoyed our first official meal in Port Angeles. YUM!

We are so fortunate to have so many people supporting our journey and surrounding us with love, I can't thank every single one of you enough! Thanks for helping make our dreams a reality. <3
