As someone who LOVES a good old time travel au, and after seeing amazing fanart of kid!Mihawk i have to let it out!!

I just wanna read a time travel fic where baby Mihawk wakes up and finds himself in the world of adult Mihawk and he's like wtf is going on?

And word goes around that a kid that looks exactly like Hawkeyes and carries the same cross knife as him is roaming around this island and rumors say it's the son he abandoned to fend for himself.

And so, marines and every pirates he ever wronged come after him for revenge and the little guy is just thinking why is everyone trying to get me? While doing his best with his cross dagger to rid of them.

And Shanks, good ol' shanks could have sworn that if his old rival had an 9years old, he would know about it (also he refuses to let the bitter taste in his heart take over unless his own eyes see) so he's skeptical about the whole thing and that's the only thing that gets him to leave his hideout in a reclused ghost island waiting for whatever is his big plan to take place.

News say Red Shanks is on the move after being mia for a few years and everyone got their panties in a twist, what could have raised the emperor from the dead.

He follows from island to island because apparently the young boy knows how to avoid the marines and pirates coming after him.

Till one night, on their stop at some bar on an island that wasn't really on the plan, he sees the boy. Just outside the bar in an alley, where he went to empty his guts from the booze overfilling his body, there stood bloody faced, cross dagger in one hand, a tiny version of his old rival with a bounty hunter's body at his feet.

The boy furrows his eyebrows even more at the new arrival and strikes another pose in case the new guy tries something funny. But Shanks, drunk ass Shanks, who knows his rival by heart is a 100% sure the little guy is in fact his rival for whatever magical reason, there he stands in front of him in the form of an 9years old and Shanks giggles at that -to which the child takes great offense- and just say "hey kid, i'm a friend of your dad's, want me to take you to him?"

Yes, the love that they share is a mutual love for evildoing. They just have very different methods of doing it and I could see Him and Mojo arguing about each other’s methods and which is better: well-calculated plans for global domination through the use of advanced science and a brilliant intellect, or just toying with people through psychological manipulation (you can tell whose side I’m on lol).

imagining Charlie having an Oh moment when she finds Vaggie napping in a chair one day, early on, with Razzle and Dazzle sprawled out over Vaggie like they're trying to cover as much of her small body as they can with their own even smaller ones-

Charlie pulls out her phone and stealthily inches closer for a picture (she's doesn't' wanna wake them she swears) (she's just never seen something so cuuuuute-)

but a floor board squeaks and Razzle cracks an eye open to glower while Dazzle shushes her

and Charlie stops

There's another Oh... moment, because they've never shushed her before. They were brought to life to keep her safe and they've always only cared about that one thing- it took months for them to stop following Vaggie around the house suspiciously, like they always did with anyone Charlie tried having a relationship with, like a pair of silent, plush guard dogs-

(glaring at Vaggie from shadows, from across the table at breakfast and dinner, from the pillows directly over her head when Charlie finally convinced her maybe sharing a bed would help with the night terrors)

-but that'd all changed, at some point. Only, Charlie hadn't noticed until now

now she does. Now suddenly, she wonders

Charlie creeping over on silent, careful hooves, to gently stroke between the tiny wings of her childhood friends, looking from them to Vaggie's relaxed and sleeping face (getting a little lost watching her, for moment) (reaching out to tuck back a strand of the hair Vaggie is growing out long, accidently stroking Vaggie's cheek, forgetting to take her hand away afterwards) (the longer hair is hard not to play with, she excuses)

Charlie leaning in and asking Razzle and Dazzle, in the softest whisper-

"....are you keeping her safe for me?"

a pair of soft little churrs rising up in answer. Two little plush demons, snuggling closer to Vaggie as Vaggie frowns in her sleep, shifting restlessly, stirring-

Charlie freezing bc she has NO idea what to say if Vaggie wakes up and finds her- well. looming kinda?? while Vaggie SLEEPS???

it feels different than just already being there when Vaggie wakes up in the night, different in how waking up like that was normal when they'd gone to bed together, but crouching down to STARE at someone like this, with your hand still on her cheek, scared to move it in case that REALLY wakes her up when she DIDN'T get much sleep last night and DIDN'T wake you up that time for some reason so you couldn't snuggle her or make her feel better and now you might startle her instead or make her feel awkward which you hate- you don't want her to ever feel awkward around you-

it doesn't matter though

because Vaggie settles down again, as Dazzle croons quietly and Razzle reaches out a little paw to gently press her arm

she used to jump and flinch a little every time she saw them

when did that change?

these days she flicks little snacks at them from off her plate, no matter how many times Charlie reminds her they have their OWN plates and their OWN donuts and are just begging to get ATTENTION, the little show-stealers-

(not like Charlie's doing that too by complaining) (noooooo) (not like she grins like an idiot when Vaggie smiles and says cute things deserve a little extra attention, while looking over at Charlie instead)

these days any annoying demon who comes looking to curry favor with Lucifer (or trying pulling one over Morningstar's "naïve" daughter) gets pinned by THREE dangerous glares while waiting at the door for Charlie to hurry downstairs and meet them

(or rather shoo them away before they say something too not nice and Vaggie grabs her spear while Razzle and Dazzle get within ankle biting range)

when she thinks about it, things have been different for a while now

better. They've been better, and Charlie still doesn't know when or how it happened, and maybe that part doesn't matter so much anyway

in the present, Charlie takes the chance to retrieve her hand (reluctantly..) so she can slip off her jacket and tuck it around the three of them- Razzle, Dazzle. Vaggie- her two old friends and one new but very important one-

important enough to be considered part of her, by them as were created to protect her

and that's a new idea too. but she likes it a lot, she thinks

she likes being part of a family again

Vaggie wakes up a good solid two hours of nap time later with Razzle and Dazzle draped over her like furry boas and Charlie's head in her lap, a former Exorcist absolutely COVERED in cuddly demons-

she stays completely still for another hour more afterwards, stiff neck be damned, watching the three of them sleep. Smiling.

.... (it's only the three of them, later)

(when vaggie flutters up and finds razzle curled up on dazzle's memorial, the night after the battle. when she tucks him into her shoulder and heads back to her and charlie's rebuilt room. as a relieved and teary eyed charlie scoops him up and the three up them huddle together under vaggie's reformed wings)

(it's only three of them... but part of why charlie cries that night is knowing dazzle did his job- vaggie is still here)

(dazzle did his best. and for everything charlie lost, the old hotel, too many of the cannibals who followed her, almost all the egg bois, sir pentious, dazzle himself, the faith that she could solve all this without anyone getting hurt...)

(she didn't lose the part of herself that'd held her together the night before the battle, held so many other times, through family calls and failed meetings with heaven) (she didn't lose vaggie-)

(and some of charlie's tears that night, for dazzle, are grateful)

Shouko Komi

Shouko is a really sweet girl, her anxiety and shyness doesn't stop her from falling in love, although it take her a while to even notice her own feelings, let alone do something about it (however she try to do little things from time to time, like trying to invite you over to whatever she will do with her other friends or being a little more clingy) until you two finally start dating

Shouko is completely excited for being in a relationship with you, although actually dating you completely flustered her at the start of the relasionship, so for a while she will be a little more blushy and shy around you, and even so Shouko grows more clingy with you, not wanting to leave your side because she like being with you

It will take her a while to win more bravery but at some point she will be more comfortable and used to the idea of being in a relationship and from then she will slowly grows more affectionate, starting to take your hand when you two walk together, a shy hug here and there, little kisses on the cheek to greet you and say goodbye, little by little until she is fully used to it and doesn't become a blushing mess by the only thought of doing it

Shouko has never been in a relationship so she is pretty anxious about what she should do or even expect, so she may be reaching for advice between romance stories and her friends and family, wich end up being in a disaster since most of her friends tease her at first (even her mother) so when they actually give her an advice she is only half hearing for how flustered she is, and the romance novels just give her examples that she doesn't know if she could actually do

If you are the shy type it would be an even slower process for you to moving your relationship forward, so you two will recive external help, your impatient friends will push you two to move forward. In the other hand if you are the one taking the lead and gently push her to go further she will be really flustered but at the same time grateful for not having to be the one with the iniciative

However, there are moments where she herself want to be the one with the iniciative, so she work hard on doing something for you, it could be something simple as a little gift or caring for you when you need it, or even goint furder to plan and invite you to an special date

Speaking of it, whenever will have a date Shouko pass a full day between the anxiety and the excitement, all worried about choosing her clothes for the date, checking the weather report for the next day again and again to make sure it won't rain or something, making sure she has everything she needs, and so on

She herself will make more effords, working really hard in handling her anxiety to be able to overcome it and talk to you directly, with her own voice, as well to be more brave and do things she normally don't do, you don't even have to ask for it because she is doing it out of love and because she want you to be proud of her

However it would be better if you don't push her to face her anxiety or even force her, Shouko end up trusting you a lot, as well relying on you so if you start to be pushy with the topic she will start to get really anxious about it because she doesn't want to bother you with it, so she will be thinking that it actually bother you or that you will prefer if she wasn't so shy and nervous all the time

Shouko always want to know your opinion, you are really important for her so your opinion is just as important, so she is asking for your advice or opinion for different things (directly or indirectly), for example when she want to try something new, when she manage to overcome her anxiety to do something or even when she want to do something for you, she is always asking you (is also because she is completely happy to finally have someone with who share this kind of things since before knowing you and all her friends she used to be all alone)

Marin Kitagawa

Marin is pretty obvious with her love for you and still she was pretty oblivious of it for a long time, it take her a while to realice her feelings for you and once she finally does she will get a little shy about it, still that doesn't stop her from being clingy with you

Once you two are finally dating Marin is overjoyed! Is imposible for her to stop smiling and for a while she will be noticibly more happy

As well, Marin is a complety lovestruck so tend to talk about you a lot, she talks about her amazing and super handsome/beautiful partner to whoever is willing to hear, normally is with her friends in school or to her co-workers, and as much as she looks cute talking about her lover it could be kinda annoying after a while, what she actually doesn't care much as long as they don't insult you

Marin is already clingy, but now that you two are dating she will be always touching you, either by holding your hands, clinging onto you whole arm or even hugging you, is just like for her is imposible to have her hands still and always giggle when you point it out, although if you are uncomfortable by it she will try to calm down and just hold your hand, even you two can just hold your pinkies and she find it extremely adorable

Also, Marin is the type to be always texting you for everything, she send you photos of her food, of what she is doing even of her work place when she is in her break, as well as pics that she find adorable, videos, or just chating! She always finds an excuse to talk to you, and if you don't answer or just read her message she will be pouty and will argument with you about why you did it, however she understand if you were busy and forgive you almost imediatly

Marin is constantly daydreaming about you, thinking in all the things she will like to do with you, like going in dates, doing cosplay together, watching anime together, cuddling, having a future together, and so on, and she always ends giggling and blushing a lot for it

Speaking of dates she loves having dates with you, you two always have at least one for week, is obligatory for her, and is all kind of dates going to a cute coffee, to the amusment park, to anime and cosplays events, or even just staying in home to see some anime, whatever you want to do is alright for her as long as you two are together

Marin talks a lot about the animes and videogames she loves, and she will introduce you to them too, she will try with all her favorites but if you don't like them (or even make you uncomfortable) she will let you be, it make her sad but not for that she will force you to like them, as long as you don't insult it is fine. As well, she is completely willing to hear you rant over and over about what you love and will love to see it with you, if she doesn't like it she will be more hesitant to tell you but she will at the end

Marin loves cosplay so is almost obligatory for her that you do cosplay with her too, she will insist over and over again until she manage to convice you to do it at least one, even if you don't want to go to a cosplay event disguised she will be fine as long as you let her take photos of you with your cosplay. Since she will continue with the cosplay even if you don't want to do it yourself she will kinda force you to go with her at least to make her company, however if you feel uncomfortable in those kind of events or don't feel like going out that day she will understand and will go only with Gojo, a little sad but quickly motivated with the idea of taking a lot of photos of the event so she can show them to you and she text you in every chance she has!

However if you are into cosplaying too she is overjoyed, always wanting to cosplay with you and talking about what characters you two should cosplay, for her it doesn't matter if you two cosplay for characters of differents series she just loves doing it with you, although when you actually do cosplay as a couple (when you cosplay about a ship or canon couple, or even just from the same series) she is even more excited, completely blushing and unable to stop smiling and giggling, it take a lot from her to stay calm so you two can pose for photos

Yor Briar

Her whole life Yor has been only focused on taking care of his brother and her work as an assassin so Yor never really put attention into relationships, neither platonic or romantic so when she develops feeling for you it will take her a while to find out that are romantic feelings

Yor is shy when it comes to romance and intimacy, even so she doesn't really has much problems with being around you, even after start dating, however the moment you two start dating Yor start to be little self-consious of herself as a partner, even when she knows that you love her just the way she is, she can't help but be insecure

Yor doesn't have much troubles to adapt to her new life with you in it, but it take her a while get used to direct shows of affection, physical affection make her easily flustered and she prefers to go slowly

Yor wants to be a good girlfriend but she has no idea how to do it, she may be paying more attention to the couples walking around on the streets to get an idea of what she should do and even try to ask for advice to her co-workers (she doesn't want to talk about this with you because she will feel like she is failing you)

Yor is really caring so she is always looking after your well-being, she may not be the best at taking care of someone or even sometimes misunderstand your body language, but she tries her best to take care of you (if you actually rely on her, openly ask her a favor or even thanks her effords it make her really happy and proud of herself)

Yor tries really hard to improve her skills in normal activities, such as cooking, taking care of the house or even thinking in a more romantic and normal way, she is really aware that she is a complety skilled assassin but bad at normal activities, and she has this idea of wanting to be a good girlfriend that start to make her frustrated lot for not being able to do normal things

Speaking of, Yor really want to keep her work as an assassin hide from you, it isn't that she doesn't trust you or that she thinks her work is a bad thing, she just not want you to freak out or bring you troubles (however, if you work as an assassin too then she won't have much troubles worring about it). As well, more than once Yor have thought on killing someone who is bringing you troubles or if that will benefit you, however she will never really do it because she doesn't want to bring you troubles by doing it

Yor isn't really jealous, she is more the insecure type, as well no matter how much time you had been together Yor can't help but doubt herself from time to time, thinking that maybe she isn't being a good girlfriend or that you could find someone else that can do things she can't do

Yor doesn't really tend to drink much, but when she does she quickly gets drunk and is like her mind stop worring and just follow her heart, doing things that she can't normally do, either cuddling you and telling you how much she loves you (with the risk of end up hitting you for getting too flustered) or openly talking about her worries and insecurities, although no matter what she does the next day she won't really remember what she said or did

Yor slowly get used to having just a normal life and doing simple things, just sharing each others company in a mundane routine, and she love it, sharing her life with you in such peaceful way is something she won't change for anything

Just as Yor fears not being a good girlfriend she fears not being a good mother neither, and she feels nervous about the topic so she will wait until you bring the topic, at first of the relasionship she is really nervous about it but the more your relationship grows the more sure she feels about starting a family with you, she will love to do it but if you don't feel comfortable with the idea she is willing to wait or even don't do it too, you two just have to talk about it

Yor is really nervous about introducing to you to her brother, she knows Yuri can be a little intense (or well, that is how she sees him) but knows that she can't avoid this situation forever, so at some point you will meet Yuri and he instantly dislike you, no matter how you are he doesn't like you, still Yor will stand up for you against him if it need it. She really wants for you to get along so Yuri will have no other option than at least give you an opportunity (not without threating to not hurt her beloved sister)

Dazai’s blowing on Chuuya’s ear and eliciting such a squeal as to put the loudest pig on Earth to shame was purely accidental – it really was!

They’d been on a walk – something Chuuya insisted upon despite Dazai’s desperate desire to stay inside and lounge on his day off – when the detective noticed a piece of dandelion fluff cutely trapped just behind his ear. He’d only intended to help out by blowing a puff of air to dislodge it, but the way Chuuya spasmed and nearly lost his footing made him stop in his tracks and stare.

“Chibi?”

“Not a word!” Chuuya snapped, turning to face him with a pink flush to his cheeks and that adorable scowl he got when he was embarrassed. “Not one fucking word from you!”

Dazai bit his lip more as a mock showing of compliance than an attempt to hold back his smile, which he did not. Instead of speaking, he hummed knowingly, which only seemed to make things worse.

“Shut up, okay?! I know!” Chuuya huffed, turning his back and crossing his arms. “I’m stupidly sensitive, even the smallest things make me freak out, it’s totally ridiculous—”

Still without a word, Dazai gently wrapped his arms around his partner’s shoulders from behind and hugged him gently. “Mm-mm,” he hummed in disapproval, shaking his head.

“On second thought, you not saying anything is almost making this worse,” Chuuya muttered. “So fine, say whatever you wanna say.”

“Yes, you’re really sensitive, but that’s one of the things that make you so adorable, chibi,” Dazai said softly, briefly squeezing him again. “Just because I like to make fun of you doesn’t mean I think it’s stupid. You’re just fun to pick on.”

Chuuya huffed, but his blush darkened, and Dazai smiled and gently blew on his ear a second time.

“Shit,” Chuuya whimpered through a helpless giggle, scrunching his shoulders defensively. “Don’t do that, asshole.”

“But it’s cuuuuute,” Dazai whined, immediately in playful mode as he hugged his boyfriend from behind and blew tiny puffs of air on each of his ears, making him snicker and squirm in place, only half trying to escape. “And you know you like it, Chuuuuya~”

“Shuhuhuhuhuhuhuhut up,” the redhead complained, but his bright smile gave him away. He held onto Dazai’s arms around his shoulders but didn’t try to fight him off. He knew he was being obvious, but he couldn’t bring himself to care right now. Dazai had told him he was adorable like this. And, well…

Who said he didn’t like being called cute from time to time?

Hob has a huge crush on his neighbor Dream in the apartment next to him, and recently has been trying to work up the courage to ask him out. Ever since he finally decided to do so, however, there’s been a problem: lately it seems like every time they bump into each other, Hob is somehow always looking like a hot mess, and it severely undermines his confidence.

They’ll have gotten into the elevator together after Hob is coming back from a workout, sweaty and gross and in desperate need of a shower, or coming in from the rain having forgotten an umbrella and doing a fantastic imitation of a wet dog. Or they’ll both happen to be making a stop in the mailroom while Hob is in ratty oversized sweats that he’s stretched out such that they hang from his hips, or in a crop top that says “Baby Slut” his friend Jo gifted him as a joke that he only wears on laundry days.

If this keeps up Hob is going to have to crawl into a hole and die from embarrassment. How is he supposed to convince the gorgeous and forever-put-together Dream to date him if he keeps looking like garbage??

It all comes to a head when their building's fire alarm goes off, and the occupants all have to troop outside. Naturally Hob was in the shower when the alarm started, and he's managed to make it out wearing... a towel. That's it. He's also absolutely soaked and he's quite convinced that he's going to have to move to a different apartment, because of course his hot neighbour is standing right next to him. Hob’s face is bright red but hey, at least he's not cold! The embarrassment is keeping him thoroughly warm.

Poor Dream has reached breaking point as he gazes at his beautiful neighbour, who is attempting to preserve his modesty with only a rather threadbare towel wrapped around his waist. For some reason the guy keeps putting his hands over his pecs, presumably to stop his nipples from hardening in the fresh air. Dream just can't cope with him any more.

The apartment manager finally gives the all clear to go inside, and Hob kind of skulks around, letting everyone else go ahead so no one can watch him going up the stairs. Of course Dream hangs about too, and soon they're the only ones left. And Hob is just about to straight up beg his hot neighbour not to make fun of him, any other time would be fine but please not tonight but Dream?? Interrupts by offering his jacket to Hob??? (Which he probably should have done earlier but sue him, he was busy being lovestruck).

So of course Hob does the sensible thing, and kisses him - dropping the towel entirely in process and leaving himself finally buck-ass naked in front of his hot neighbour.

Which Dream appreciates, of course. But he thinks that Hob would be a lot more comfortable naked inside his apartment? He sure would like to find out. And Hob has truly run out of fucks to give, so what can he say but "yes"?

"soooo....you wanna go live the next minutes?" you take off your shoes and go to the kitchen to make yourself something to eat while Bella changes and goes to the laptop after coming home. "ok....never really live let's see how many people even join" she makes a few settings on insta and looks at me. "So if you want you can sneak in secretly. People might want to know who you are."

"first I'll hide" you smile and give her a wink, get your food from the kitchen afterwards. When you come back with your bowl, she is now online.

"Wow, I didn't expect so many at once." She greets some of the people who are obviously freaking out with joy that Bella is live. You just smile.

You can't help but laugh and put your hood up, sit behind Bella's back so you're back to back and just keep eating your food.

"I'll fix you something to eat in a minute" you try to stand up, give her a sweet bitemark without showing your face yet and go into the kitchen with your empty bowl. While preparing something for Bella to eat, the live viewers go crazy because they heard you and saw a little of what happened.

I was wondering what some of your OCs were like as children. Like who were the rebellious ones? The quiet ones? The mature ones? The ones who haven’t really changed vs the 180-degree switch? Etc.

And as a bit of a more in depth add-on, what made them change (or not) into the monster they are when they met reader?

Also I feel like they’d all be adorable as children. With some of them not having grown fangs, horns, tusks, etc. then *boom puberty* and they’re large intimidating monsters! It’d just be so funny having monster children with them cause you’d get to watch their unique growth cycles and any habits that come with it.

So cuuuuute ^_^ I love the idea of pre-teen monsters getting into hijinks

I picked some monsters below:

Vass was quiet, but a little rebellious. When he was a child, his mother and father, the King and Queen were at odds. As mentioned in one of the chapters, his father was a pretty awful dad. His mother was demanding, hoping to shape him into a future despot. She already had his future partner picked out and demanded they spend time together. Vass never wanted any of that and spent lots of time hiding and knitting to pass the time.

Arion was also very studious, but in a more happy go lucky way. His parents coddled him and listened closely when he babbled about his newest discoveries. He liked to be carried as a baby and usually curled up in him mom's coils while she went about her business and read books. Sadly, schoolchildren were not so loving or accepting. He had few friends and got picked on a lot. That's part of the reason he developed into a Yandere. He knew he was lovable, but he had a hard time making friends, so when he meets the love of his life, he'll do anything to keep her

Serge was spoiled rotten. He always got whatever he wanted when he wanted it. He was a little awkward in his teens, skinny and clumsy, but had a major glow-up in his twenties. He grew up with the belief that anything he wanted belonged to him and anyone who stood in his way was wrong. He was an absolute terror to his parents, exploding in melodramatic theatrics if they ever told him no. Even as a little baby he cried a lot and wanted to be carried.

Levi was meek. If you saw him as a young child, he would normally be dressed in a dark suit with a troubled look on his face as if he were at a funeral. His mother and father never got along. Though he preferred his father, he was a hardened vampire lord and didn't give him much affection. Levi learned to gain his love through good behavior. He was very studious and obedient. In return, his father helped him build his self-esteem and cruelty so that he could properly lead the family. He very much relied on his father until he was killed by his mother. That changed Levi deeply, as he had to become the leader overnight. In another life, Levi would have been happy to follow his father around as his protege for centuries but was forced to take on responsibilities before he was ready

Cedar was a sweet kid, but growing up was hard for him. He always outclassed his peers athletically but didn't like fighting. He never wanted to hurt anyone and preferred to read. He had a kind soul and struggled when he was conscripted into the army as a young Orc. Things changed when he saw his fellow cadets being abused by a general. He challenged him and won. Since then, he realized that sometimes might is necessary, though he still prefers reading and strategizing to battling.

Lethia has always been a good, bad girl with a mind for business. She opened her first enterprise when she was just a demonlette stealing her family and friend's talismans, shuffling them, and then selling them back to them giving each person someone else's. She was eventually caught, but her parents were impressed with her initiative and encouraged her to study business. She was a little gangly around puberty, but she was scrappy with a hot temper so she became every girl in her class's she-demon in shining armor.

Severin was always popular. He grew up handsome, and strong and was a natural-born leader. In some ways, he was too good, always following the rules, and could be a little high and mighty. It hurt him that some of his peers didn't like him because he was too perfect, but everyone knew he was destined for greatness. Though he had plenty of friends, he carried with him a little bit of sadness because, despite his confidence and muscles, he was a people pleaser inside. He did grow out of that, but when he meets his love, he can't help but bend himself into pretzels to make her happy. Once he has her to please, no one else's opinions on anything really matter to him.

Chase was also very popular. In tentacle monster terms, he was very handsome. As a kid, he was more rebellious, playing pranks and getting into scuffles, but his parents thought strength was a good quality to encourage. Despite his antics, he was very smart and always made good grades. While many girl tentacle monsters in his class swooned over him, he was more interested in getting into trouble with elaborate projects. He was a shoo-in for the position with his dark lord, having lots of evil doings in his portfolio by the time he graduated high school.

Thanks for the brain worms, Lovely Runner. Now I have theories

I don't watch a lot of currently airing dramas and when I do, I don't usually post anything aside from 'cuuuuute' or 'paaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnn". But because I can no longer be normal about waiting for things, I have let Lovely Runner consume my mind and now I have thoughts about it.

Because the real cool thing about this show (and about kdramas in general) is that it's not just a quirky romcom about two clowns falling in awkward love with each other- it's a murder mystery whodunnit revolving around how Sun Jae died the night he reunited with Im Sol. It's a kdrama but giving '7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hugo' vibes where the protagonist has to figure out who the murderer was in what looks like a suicide while inhabiting a body that's not their's. But in this case, Im Sol has yet to realize that it's a murder. And now I have a Theory.

And it's that Im Sol was the objective the entire time. If not the target, then the focus of the killer. The murderer, whoever it was, just wanted Sun Jae out of the way because he knew that if Sun Jae managed to re-establish a connection with Im Sol again, it would be harder to prey/stalk/possibly murder her.

Because I have watched ep 1 god only knows how many times, and it actually looks as though the phone was deliberately knocked out of her hand. I've seen some theories float around that it might have been a future version of Sun Jae but why would he do that to the woman he loved, knowing what she would endure with her cell phone out of commission (unable to call for help, stranded in the cold with a broken wheelchair). It makes more sense that it was someone with more sinister motives, someone who definitely didn't want her to be able to call for help. It would also make her more willing to get into the most convenient, immediate form of transportation that happened to be passing by. Like...a taxi.

I also think that this stalker/murderer would have been doing this since her high school days because of the fact that someone in a taxi had been following her in episode 4. And what a parallel that would be- just as Im Sol admired to Sun Jae since she was a teenager right into her thirties (and vice versa with Sun Jae having been in love with her from the beginning to the present day) we have another character who has also been obsessed with Im Sol, but not in the sweet, innocent way she was devoted to Sun Jae but in a dangerously obsessed fashion that's more "if I can't have you nobody can''. The night of her accident could have been her stalker's attempt at confessing his "love" only for it to spiral into a kidnapping attempt. Im Sol attempts to run away, Sun Jae thwarts her attacker but it all ends with Im Sol too traumatized to remember that night and resentful of Sun Jae for rescuing her. Sun Jae, full of guilt, keeps his distance and Im Sol is without her protector. And her stalker/Sun Jae's future murderer has been hovering in the margins of her life, satisfied that since she's wheelchair bound and without Sun Jae, she was helpless and 'his'.

But then Sun Jae comes back into her life, Sun Jae who is both a rival and someone who has a habit of saving Im Sol again and again. So, Sun Jae has to be gotten rid of for Im Sol to be truly vulnerable and alone again.

Do I have a theory to who this is? Not really. No one really stands out at this time. Maybe it's a random member from Sun Jae's swim team. Or Sun Jae's swim rival who hates him. But I think he and the CEO guy could just be red herrings for who the actual killer is. I don't think it's Kim Tae Sung. I do think Kim Tae Sung encountered the killer before and the reason he was "expelled" was because he found out the killer's part in Im Sol's accident and was trying to avenge her. It's a little too convenient that he disappeared from the scene after Im Sol's accident because of a 'fight'.

Anyways this could be completely wrong, but I'm having fun guessing. By guessing, I mean suffering waiting for the next ep.

PS Why are 19 year old Sol's bangs so much more cringe when she's not being possessed by her 34 year old self? Kim Tae Sung was telling the truth when he said she got cuter when she became Grandma Sol again.

What I Read This Week: March 17th

Hey! Here is this week's installment of what I've been reading! I focused on some bigger pieces this week so it's really not as many as usual!

Come Over (Again)- Au of the Au by @punk-gremlin- Shayne/Ian - I re-read this so I could leave a comment because I hadn't before. This is an AU of Jace's fic Come Over (Again) wherein Ian is a trans man and has a three year old daughter with Anthony and in this AU he also gets pregnant by Shayne. You don't necessarily have to read Come Over (Again) to understand this fic, but it certainly helps! I love how Jace writes issues of gender and pregnancy so big fave for me!

I'm Here by @wtfissgoingonn Ian/Anthony- but reads mainly platonic with some underlying feelings going on. This is a beautiful and quiet look at Ian and his feelings revolving around Anthony as well as a look at anxiety and comfort coming from having his best friend. So sweet and soft and cuuuuute.

I Think Last Night I May Have Bit Off More Than I Can Chew by @punk-gremlin - Ian/Anthony - ianthony - a chaptered fic where Ian is a trans man and he and Anthony are FWBs as teenagers when Ian becomes pregnant and gives birth to their son Hunter. This is an excellent study of family dynamics, angst, love, parenting, and Hunter is so well fleshed out and feels like a real person! 30 chapters (as of posting this but it is not finished) but it is worth it and Jace writes his chapters in manageable sizes so it doesn't feel overly long and makes you want to click that next chapter button!

Anthony's body by @hecoxthirst - Ian/Anthony - ianthony - A Jennifer's Body AU! Such a good idea and I've never seen the movie so this fic was my exposure to it. It captures the spirit of the film but also incorporates the accurate characterization of Ian and Anthony. Very cool concept and very well executed! It is gory just so you know!

This Isn't A Fanmeet by SingTidecaller- Gen - This is a horror themed fic that is violent but not tagged for character death so I assume that as of writing no one has/will die? But the Smosh crew wakes up involved in an alien death game. There is humor in this fic and it is very well written and a very interesting plot! Three chapters as of this posting.

forgive my lying eyes by @tommybowefuneralattendee - Shayne/Spencer - shayncer - very interesting fic where Shayne and Spencer are FWBs. There are misunderstandings and miscommunications, but the dialogue feels very real and the spicy scenes are also realistic and very sensual!

Hey there, thank you!!! 🥰 Prepare for a fluffy drabble!

"Why me? Why always me?"

"Because you're easy," Yor slurred with a distant smile. "You're so easy."

Dinner with the uncles lead to everyone drinking too much, and the conversation turned into yet another discussion about Loid's ticklishness. Yuri had drank as much as his sister and Franky was buzzed but still coherent. Loid wanted to drink but somebody needed to keep his wits about him or he'd suffer through yet another one-sided tickle fight.

"I found out when he lied about being ticklish!" Yuri was excitedly telling Frank.

Franky had really found out when fitting Loid for a gadget way back in the day, but couldn't say that part out loud. "I found out when we were rooming together for a bit," The informant lied. "He has these spots-"

"Below the belly button!" Yuri exclaimed. "Or, in it. Both seemed very ticklish."

Loid's face flushed, and he froze with his eyes on his lap.

"You get this one spot on his ribs and he's already begging it to stop, get his pits and he's yours!" Franky crossed his arms and appeared proud that he knew one of Loid's only weaknesses.

"His neck~!" Yor sing-songed. "Even his ears!"

"Hips!" Yuri added.

"Oh, his sides are a pretty bad spot too," Franky listed.

"Enough!" Loid was too flustered for a discussion about his tickle spots, and he was sitting between two men on the couch who were the worst. "Let's change the subject!"

A pause as the three adults all made eye contact. Then, Franky and Yuri started to poke Loid's sides from either side.

"No!" Loid jumped up and was pulled right back down. "Noho!" He snickered as pokes turned to swipes and his hands were grabbed.

"Aw, he's so cuuuuute~!" Yor cooed.

"That's one way of putting it," Franky smirked. When his fingers scribbled up Loid's ribs, the spy squawked like a bird and arched his back.

"Can't help being ticklish literally everywhere, Loidy-Loid?" When Yuri wiggled several fingers into Loid's armpit, he snapped each arm to his sides and fell forward off the couch giggling. They let him roll down to the floor, only to attack his ribs, back, and neck from behind and above. Their fingers would poke, pinch, swipe, and just tickle like hell as Loid short-circuited and sat there giggling. Back tickles were entirely new to him, and his spine was apparently another bad spot. While he ignored the fact that he could easy get up and run away, it did not go unnoticed by the others.

"He does like it!" Yuri exclaimed.

"Stohohohop! Okahahay! Yohohor hehehelp!"

Oh, she helped. Just not her husband. The trio pinned Loid to the floor for yet another tickle attack, and for the first time he felt like he had a real family finally. They only wanted him laughing, after all. Even Yuri. Except for that new spot on his spine, when everybody started swiping their fingers up and down it Loid was openly squealing and rolling from side to side.

But he could take the tickles if it meant everybody was happy.
