I wanted to get into embroidery last year and of course the first project that popped into my head was a massive one. So here's the masterpost for the Discworld jacket I'm currently working on. The plan is to have at least one motif for every book and cover the whole thing. Wish me luck.

the rufus wainwright concert i went to last night was the best of the many times i’ve seen him for a variety of reasons but a significant one being that he only fucked up one line to “so long marianne” as opposed to the last time i saw him in which he enthusiastically but painfully fucked up every single verse

#also it was just him on piano and guitar without a band which i think made a BIG difference it was so intimate in the venue and he was in #great voice as always #plus i got his roadtrip elegies vinyl which you can really only buy at his shows and i’m so excited to listen to it
