I don't remember if I mentioned this before, but I find it HILARIOUS how in the Return of the King scene when Sam marries Rosie, they made a close up to Frodo's expression that goes from happy to extremely pained, obviously representing how Frodo is suffering after the quest of the ring, but out of context it seems like completely gay angst.

thank you for sending me an ask! so this is technically a scene from (checks notes) chapter 18 of paramour! but big trauma happened in the chapter before and i'm gonna make this chapter as ooey gooey as i can make these idiots (hya and amon) be >:) here's a good blurb from it:

Hyacinthus stroked his fingers delicately against the raised lines on Amon’s back. “This early in the morning I would not care for inquests.”

“What would you care for, my lord?” The delicate tracings of blunt nails on sensitive skin turned sharp, and Amon gasped aloud. He hung his head low, nearing the delicate cradle of Hyacinthus’s jugular. Hyacinthus could feel his labored breaths dance across his skin and it sent something like fireworks alight in his stomach. “I think you’re well aware of what I care for.”

“And as tempting as you are—”

“You find me tempting?” He got a wry smile in return. “You don’t need your ego to inflate any larger, you’ll float right off this forsaken rock.” Hyacinthus rolled his eyes. “Are you going to indulge me, butler?”
