dean loooooves to hold castiel’s face in his hands but he’s only allowed to do that in the most dire of situations like when castiel has been stabbed to death or possibly turned into a rabid dog by a witch

god the way that Atsushi and Akutagawa say each other’s names with such emphasis always gets me… like I know it’s out of anger and contempt at first but behind loathing there has to be a sort of passion fueling it... and I think the opposite of caring is not hatred but overall indifference which makes these two so interesting because they absolutely refuse to be indifferent towards each other even when spitting venom at one another. Then later on when they team up the contempt part always erodes into genuine calls out for each other with the same passionate energy as before but this time bordering concern? or comradery?… they scream and fight and heavily enjoy poking and prodding at the other but obviously can’t seem to muster being indifferent and unbothered when they’re together.
Atsushi never corrects Akutagawa from calling him Jinko and Akutagawa makes a point to focus on Atsushi above everything even when dealing with another enemy and important mission. He does this on the airship with Fitzgerald, claiming the tiger is his “main course” and again when fighting the stone golem where he takes the time to have an open and honestly vulnerable conversation with Atsushi mid battle. It happens several time is 55 minutes. 9 times out of 10 Atsushi falls into it as well, being detoured by Akutagawa even at extremely inconvenient times… why? I think it’s because they have a very hard time ignoring each other. So when they are screaming out the other’s name… it feels so intense and all consuming to hear, because it’s actually unbridled passion.. and it’s personal.
