Been playing a lot of Minecraft recently so...take this DCA x Minecraft Crossover
Sun is the Blaze King over in the Nether and has a bunch of blazes as his little minions while Moon is straight up the Warden in the deep dark. I dunno where I'm going with this AU but it's been ingrained in my brain for a moment
Part one is here: Blaze King Sun. Both Warden Moon and Blaze King Sun are inspired/based on this post! by @bamsara
Transferring Warden Moon in game went a lot smoother! (although there was a major initial texture error, but after a few tutorials it was an easy fix!) I did reuse Suns model as a base for Moons so whenever I can get Sun in game they should be about the same height!
Never fun to find a bigger fish, or spider, in your pond. @bamsara 's Warden Moon was also really fun to draw! It's a bit harder to translate designs that are centred on colour, when my style focuses on lines. Just makes for more of a push for creativity. It's 1am for me, so I'm going to bed.
He may look like a ferocious lion roaring, but it was a meow that turned into a squeak as he yawned. I feel that if I had a weaker heart, it would've imploded due to cuteness.
4 piece set consisting of Dusk Warden, Dawn Warden, Sun Ward, and Moon Ward.
Hand-sculpted ceramics (Dawn and Sun being mason-stained porcelain + Dusk and Moon being earthenware) with underglaze, slip, and luster accents (as well as minor post-fire additions). Click on their names to go to their individual posts for more details!
I decided to make a matching sort of thing for the Emmet Ultra Recon picture that I redrew!
I like to imagine that for this little two parter idea, that Ingo is jumping through time looking for something that he can’t remember. But is so extremely important too him, but is slowly getting disheartened more and more the longer time drags on. Just a fun little snippet of a idea I had last year with that random Emmet design.
The Moon card can indicate a time of uncertainty and illusion, when nothing is what it seems. Be careful of making fast decisions when The Moon appears because you may later realize you only had half the information you needed. You need to listen to and trust your intuition so you can see beyond what is in front of you. Feel into situations rather than thinking what they mean. Let go of your conscious mental blocks or negative self-talk and allow your intuition to guide you. Your dreams, intuitions and inner guidance lead you forward toward higher levels of understanding if you listen and use your judgement to help interpret the messages of the subconscious.
Wow, it's been 4 years since the last time I drew a tarot card for Dragon Age. And this time I was really inspired by what the dalish elf think about the way Mythal was born.
I wanted to mix that myth and what the Moon tarot card represents.
Days 6, 13, 24, 29 of 31 for @clovercrafted's Buildtober: Jumpscare, After Midnight, Haunted House, Full Moon
CUCKOO! CUCKOO! It's two in the morning, and the full moon shines bright - as the face of a cuckoo clock. Is the cuckoo clock the house that is haunted, or is it the house that hangs the clock upon its wall?
Im super proud of how this piece came out, especially as it's my first ever sculpture!
The concept is as follows: The dusk warden is a gentle protector, but it's face is off-putting so it wears a mask so as not to scare anyone. Despite this, the true face is far more interesting, and mask or no mask the creature has just as sweet a personality!
Varric: Tell us about Starkhaven, Choir Boy. I'm sure we're all burning with curiosity about your far-away land.
Sebastian: My far-away land? It's inland Free Marches, not on the moon.
Varric: And here I was hoping…
Suddenly recontextualizing Varric's one-sided feud with Sebastian in light of this early banter. It's not just that Varric has an immediate psychosexual animosity towards the man that he is not going to unpack. He is also... being belligerently coastal elite about it.
