Last night in Pathfinder one of the villains had kidnapped the local wainwright and was threatening him at knifepoint to get information from the PCs.
The dryad-blooded sorcerer, whose entire kit was built around the concept of being a terrible avatar of fey vengeance, did not take kindly to this and hit him with *cup of dust* on the 2nd round of combat and then *blister* on the 3rd round.
Suffering these terrible fey afflictions, he focused all his efforts on killing the sorcerer, telling his men "Kill her! Kill that witch!" Because the sorcerer's player is a woman and I, the GM, had forgotten the sorcerer himself is male.
"I'm a man," the sorcerer corrects, deadpan. His player did describe him as very short and pretty, though.
The kidnapper corrects himself: "Kill him! Kill that *femboy* witch!"
The sorcerer finished him off by spewing a cloud if wasps all over him via the *vomit swarm* spell. What an awful way to die.
I just ran my first session of the second adventure in Age of Ashes and wow it was so fun
Minor spoilers ahead for the very beginning of part 2, Cult of Cinders in Age of Ashes
I went ahead and let every character participate in every part of the festival and preparations and it was all so fun and amazing
Even on activities that mostly came down to roll dice were really fun as players described what they were doing and how they were succeeding or failing at each task
And pf2's degrees of success allows some to succeed even more than expected
This place seems really fun, I look forward to building upon it
