Summary: Abby runs away from her (former) pack and into your forest. You're not happy with your new (woods?)mate.

Annoyance prickles you all the way home. You feel a little exhausted after having your shields around yourself for so long, and if it wasn't for the stupid wolf, you'd be fine. You can't shake your irritation: you even offered the wolf peace, and it still attacked you! You keep in mind that the wolf might not be lucid - like it was with the bear, and you had to bring it back to the human form while avoiding getting killed - but on the other hand, it moved away when you threatened it with magic.

“Fucking weres.” You spit and trip on a root. “Ouch. What, you have a soft spot for them?”

The woods don't answer and you huff. You're used to the forest’s weirdness and mood swings, but sometimes you don't understand them. Who would have thought you can have an argument with a forest? But you had, on multiple occasions, and it showed that the forest remarkably worse at communicating than an emotionally stunned man.

When you see your hut, you let your shields down and take a long, tired breath. The wolf destroyed your sense of safety in the woods, and it makes your blood boil from fury, but you take another breath and try to calm down.

After all these years your anger is still the hardest to control. You still shake with the desire to just hit something, but it is still better than the desire to choke someone until they go cold and stiff. But it's hard to let go of this irritation and you haven't found a way to let it out-

Oh. Actually, you know a way.

You sigh and slump on your porch to take a small break and recharge. The shields around the hut are not powered by your flow of magic, rather than by the bunch of stones and threads underground that you have to charge from time to time, so at least this is not draining you right now.

Fucking werewolf.

You look over the edge of your shields and get angry again at the wolf. Your anger springs you into action, and you go inside your hut to get your things together. You take the fish out and put it in the chest full of ice - you're not cooking dinner today, you have no patience for it.

You put another bottle of special tincture and head out, eager to go somewhere where there's no crazy werewolves. You're grim and the woods feel it, and they're rightfully offended by your attitude, but you can't bring yourself to care right now. Your mood is not directed at them rather than at one furry monster, and you know the forest knows it too, so you don't bother with sorries or excuses: you are not going to lie about your feelings, and you're tired from bottling up your anger.

As if not feeling anger is a goddamn requirement to be a good person.

When you're out of the forest, the sun gets closer to the horizon, and the evening's lights are beautiful enough for you to forget your spite for a moment.

Then you continue stomping your way down the path and past the village, until you reach the odd house.

You knock, shifting from foot to foot, and wait for someone to open the door. It takes a moment, but then Vi opens the door and the suspicion on her face turns into surprise when she sees you.

“Damn, what happened to you?”

“Can you spar with me?” You ask impatiently and come inside when Vi lets you in.

“Is it a bottle in your sac, witch?” The dwarf grins and you roll your eyes. “I'm always happy to kick your ass, don't worry.”

“Thanks.”

Vi leads you to the kitchen where Caitlyn is cooking something and you shiver when you feel her magic: elven magic comes from stars, so it always feels cold. It's unnerving and makes you feel deep loneliness, and you don't know how Caitlyn deals with it. Do all elves feel as lonely as her magic makes you feel?

But then Vi leaves a quick kiss on Caitlyn’s cheek and you chuckle. Vi, as any other dwarf, works with fire and metal, she always runs hot or is covered in coal, so you guess she balances Caitlyn and keeps her warm.

“Darling!” Caitlyn smiles and hugs you, sending another wave of shivers down your spine. “You came back earlier than I expected.”

“She is going through some shit.” Vi immediately tells on you and you throw her a nasty look. “Listen, I didn't come here and ask to spar instead of saying hello.”

You huff and sit down on a soft chair, unloading your sac on the table. Vi grabs the bottle right away, but Caitlyn gently takes it and places it on the shelf.

“Did anything happen?” The elf asks carefully and you let out a depressed snort. Caitlyn pours tea for all of you while Vi grumbles that she wanted her booze, but she still takes a sip.

“Another fucking were.” You say, defeated.

“No fucking way.” Vi groans. She was the one who had to deal with the bear after you brought it back and let's just say, they both didn't enjoy the experience, cursing and cussing at each other nonstop.

“It chased me to the hut, tried to jump me at least five times, refused to change back into human form and took Sevika's den. And when I warned it that she will come back and kill it, it made me walk backwards until I was out of its territory, growling and snarling at me. Un-fucking-believable.” You sigh. “And I'm so anxious my magic became unstable. I almost boiled myself alive.”

Caitlyn's face is so full of sympathy and concern it's hard to look at, so you look at Vi instead. She looks puzzled and just as annoyed as you are.

“Is it a bear? Again?” Vi asks and it's almost funny how she is still full of spite after the werebear. “Why do you always get the crazy ones?”

“They fucking sense my own crazy.” You grump. “It's a wolf. A giant one, I've never seen them this big.”

“Probably an alpha, then.” Caitlyn says. “It's strange. Wolves live in packs.”

“Well, this explains the aggression.” You try to joke, but you sound more anxious than before. “I fell into the river today because of it.”

Vi cackles and you want to punch her.

“So I'm angry. This is why I want to spar.”

“I think it is not wise for you to spar with Vi when your magic is unstable. I much prefer my starlight healthy and happy.”

Vi is clearly embarrassed by being called starlight - as always - but Caitlyn's loving look stops her from complaining and you from teasing. Elves are infinite and their love is too big and encompassing for mortals, however long they can live (Vi has another 500 years ahead of her, you think), and it's too much sometimes.

“Have you been meditating like I showed you before?”

You feel stupid.

“No.” You sound embarrassed, as you should be, but again - your anger management is still work in progress.

“Well then. Let us go to the garden and I will guide you through it. Then you can spar with Vi, if you still wish to.”

You nod and follow Caitlyn.

It's dark when Abby wakes up, and she feels better. The food and sleep helped her recover, and now she can finally change into human form to treat the rest of her wounds.

The problem is, she doesn't have any supplies, since you took all of the moon peppers. So she will have to find something that will help her before she returns to her human form.

For a brief moment she considers talking to you, since you are too weak to be a threat, when she gets better, but then she remembers you standing next to her blood stains near the den and the consideration is forgotten.

So Abby cautiously shows her nose out of her den and takes a long sniff. Thankfully there is no one around who can hurt her, so Abby gets to her feet and goes for her search.

Her wolf nose is more sensitive and she can smell more plants and animals around her than when she is a human, and it takes her less time to get to a comfrey bush. It's not in bloom, but Abby can still use it on her injuries to help with some of them that still bleed.

Abby takes a breath and turns into her human form. She stands on her fours, shaking and grunting as the new level of pain washes over her body, but it slowly subsides. Abby is breathing deeply through it until her head stops spinning and the shaking goes away. Then she is able to sit down and check herself.

Abby slowly raises her shirt up and winces in pain. Her right side has three deep long scratches that have been closing but not fully, so her shirt is soaked in blood, but that is what comfrey can help with. Her left thigh and calf have seen better days, and the hole from the claws stings painfully when Abby tries to move. It might be infected already, and this thought terrifies Abby. She thinks about going into the village to see their healer, but she might give herself away, so she will have to deal with it herself.

Abby slowly breaks a few stems and starts turning them into mush - it would have been easier if she actually had a mortar, but alas, she has to adapt to her current situation, so she just kneads the stems in her hands until it's as gooey as it could get. Then she applies it to her side and moans in pain.

“Fuck.” Abby whispers, but the mush helps immediately: her werewolf healing is way faster than anyone's in the world and her wounds finally close for good. It doesn't mean it's healed fully, but at least Abby stopped losing blood and avoided infections.

Abby smells her former packmates one second, and the next second she is back into her wolf form. They're surrounding her from every direction and Abby tries her best not to panic, but somewhere deep in herself she knows she is not going to make it this time. There are obviously more wolves than before, hell, did Isaac bring the whole pack just to end her?

Abby hears growling from behind and turns around to face her threat, but the blow comes from the side, and Abby falls. She expects them to immediately go for her throat, but the wolves step away, clearly waiting for her to get up.

Oh, so this is going to be a whole humiliation party, Abby thinks, but stands up anyway. They want to make an example of her - well, she is not going to let it happen. If Abby is going down, someone will go down with her.

Abby narrows her eyes and tries to pick up Isaac’s scent and attack him, but he is nowhere to be found. Abby then moves to her closest target and attacks the wolf, going straight for their neck - it's a weaker one and Abby is sure she is going to kill it, but they're quick and Abby misses, falls on her feet again.

Someone jumps on top of her and bites into her shoulder, but Abby throws them off and leaves a nasty bite on their stomach - even if they escape, they will die on their way home. That brings her some satisfaction, but it's short-lived: another wolf jumps and bites her scruff. It hurts, but Abby throws them off again.

Then they're relentless: she throws off one wolf and another attacks her. Abby is getting exhausted and it's hard to get up now, but she still does. Her hind legs are shaking and her just closed wounds are open, but she snarls at her previous packmates, not giving up.

Abby is happy she doesn't pick up Manny's scent among them.

Suddenly wolves stop and step away, and Abby smells Isaac. Fucking coward waited until his wolves tired Abby out so he would stand a chance against her. He'd never win in an alpha on alpha fight, and everyone knows it. It makes him look pathetic and Abby knows wolves can smell her contempt and feel how Isaac's presence triggers her alpha’s pheromones. Some wolves whine, scared of her even when Abby is so weak she takes two tries to stand up, and Abby's smells like boasting.

Isaac growls and shows off his own pheromones, but Abby overpowers him by a mile, which in return pisses him off and he lunges at Abby.

They clash and Abby puts all her strength into most fatal attacks, clawing at his most vulnerable spots, but Isaac gets away from her.

Abby is panting and shaking, she is getting dizzy as her body starts to give up, and Isaac feels it. He lunges again with more force and keeps biting and clawing, waiting for Abby to slip up.

And Abby slips up.

Fangs sink into her throat and Abby whines as a piece of meat gets ripped out of her. She can't breathe, she is choking on her own blood as everything starts to fade away.

Her former pack leaves only when all of them are sure Abby is dead and her heartbeat can't be heard and her scent can't be smelled.

Isaac huffs in triumph at Abby's lifeless body and leads his pack out of the woods.

“So, do you still wish to spar with Vi?” Caitlyn asks after you finished your meditation. It's not the most comfortable experience and you'd really like to have some hot tea now, but you feel calmer and the flow of magic in your body is more stable.

“No. Thank you, Caitlyn.”

The elf smiles gently and leads you back to the kitchen where Vi is already sipping your tincture.

“You can't be left alone, can you?” Caitlyn sighs lovingly and Vi grins.

“Try it. It's great. Not to your posh elven standards, your majesty, but you will like it anyway.”

Caitlyn huffs, embarrassed, and lightly slaps Vi's bicep. She just chuckles, catches her hand and leaves a gentle kiss on her palm.

“You're adorable.” You coo and Caitlyn smiles at you. “I think I'll be going now. The forest wasn't happy with me.”

“Just like that?” Vi complains. “Next time bring two bottles.”

You laugh and leave after saying your goodbyes to the odd couple.

It's dark outside now, and you come back to the forest with a lighter heart than before. The forest is silent, but you don't feel any anger towards yourself, so you're a little puzzled.

And then your path suddenly makes a wrong turn. You don't question it and just follow wherever the forest leads you: it happens from time to time and you're always happy to help, especially now, when you're in such a good mood. You get suspicious when you recognise the path leading to Sevika’s den, but then it takes a different turn and you calm down. This is the way to comfrey and you walk confidently since it's familiar.

You reach the bushes and then you see blood on the ground. Oh, this is not good.

You follow the blood and you see the big shadow of the wolf on the ground. You flinch, scared it will attack you again, but it doesn't make a sound and it doesn't move. You come closer and now you can see it’s covered in blood and its back doesn't rise like it's supposed to if it was breathing.

“Fuck." You whisper. "Hey!” You call, but the wolf doesn't react.

You make a few steps closer and then you run to the wolf when you exactly how much blood is there. There's a giant hole where its throat is supposed to be and you feel the cold dread crawl on your back.

“Fuck. Fuck! What do you want me to do?” You ask the forest angrily. “I'm not powerful enough, I can't do shit!” You're on the verge of tears: yes, the wolf is annoying and scary, but it doesn't deserve to die!

The woods respond with a gentle warm breeze and you take a deep breath as your fingers grip wolf's fur. Okay. Okay, there is an option which you're afraid to use, but it will work. Well, if the forest agrees, of course.

“Give me one of your trees and I'll be able to save the wolf.” You say quietly, knowing you have no right to ask for it, knowing the woods have no reason to trust you or believe you won't become dangerous again, but it is literally the only way.

You're also afraid and you don't trust yourself, but the wolf is dead and you can save it. You can bring it back to life. You have no idea what happened to the wolf, but it simply doesn't deserve to die.

You sigh and go around the wolf to the tree behind it. Your hands are shaking but you firmly put them on the bark and gasp: you feel the life energy flow in it, the forest will let you do this. It's so much your breath hitches but you calm yourself and begin to drain the tree.

You hear the rusting of the leaves as they turn into ash and your body gets filled with the life force of the tree. It's exhilarating and you can't help your surprised giggle when you feel your magic grow. Fuck, it's been so long since you felt so powerful and you feel alive.

The half of the tree is gone and you now notice that your hands are glowing. But it's not your hands that are glowing, these are your tattoos and runes. It makes you flinch in terror as memories flow through your head, but you keep going and try not to pay attention to every line and letter and patch that glows through your clothes. You haven't seen them in years and you'd much prefer not to see them ever again, but alas, the power comes with consequences.

Everything now is covered in ash and you feel like you're going to burst from this amount of life energy in your body, so you quickly come back to the wolf and hold its head between your hands, and then you start pouring the energy into its lifeless body. Your tattoos stop glowing so violently as time passes and you see how the wolf's throat grows back and gets covered in fur. The wolf finally exhales loudly and inhales again, and you feel its heart restart.

You sigh, relieved, and sit down, still holding the wolf's head and putting more energy into it, but now you're calm: the wolf breathes and gets warmer with every second.

You murmur a spell that will let you continue giving the energy to the wolf and then you cast another one that makes the wolf float and follow you to the hut.

You notice the blood on your hands and take a shaky breath as an ancient temptation gets the hold of you: you can put this wolf in debt, you can make it leave you alone (which is a not a fair price, but you have priorities), you can do whatever you want since you have its blood.

You swallow sickly and shake your head to calm down.

When you get to your hut you're not sure where to place the wolf: it will take a night and a day to finish healing, but the moment the wolf wakes up it will try to kill you, so you need to do something. It's not your greatest idea, but you really have no other option except to leave it outside and risk the wolf running away and breaking the bond. So you go to your stillroom, put all the protective spells you know on everything so the wolf won't trash the place, and summon some furs so the wolf won't be lying on the cold floor. You stand there for a second and cast restraints on the wolf - again, stupid idea, but it's for your own safety. Tomorrow, when the wolf wakes up you'll explain everything and release it, of course, but if you want a chance on said explain, the wolf should be restrained.

When you go to bed you become aware of just how much energy will stay in your body after this, and it makes your heart sink.

You only hope it won't drive you mad.

Imagine this as the Creator speaks angry gibberish to people and they just assume that the Creator is cursing them or something. YEA!! big agree bro i think kung lao and bi-han is the perfect fucking crackship. pure comedy. forced to be in close proximity due to smoke n raiden romancing it up. like imagine kung lao going w/ raiden to see smoke and he'll bail after a bit of talking and see his boy raiden later! and it's like ah the other dude. the ice one. who is sometimes seen around smoke. kung lao like "haha ready for round 2 of me beating your ass lmaoo you remember that right haaa" and bi-han about to wail on this guy like he did on johnny.

I absolutely agree it would be hilarious for kung Lao and Bi Han to start interacting because of Raiden and Tomas!! I’m laughing just thinking about Kung Lao getting bored of third wheeling and wandering off.. he ends up finding Bi Han and decides to poke him as much as possible to see when he explodes. Pushing Bi Han and annoying him in all ways possible becomes a new hobby and he gets frighteningly good at it, almost breaking both arms in the process. (He broke one, the other just got sprained)

Lmao imagining a scene where Raiden and Tomas are having a soft moment- maybe Raiden patching up Tomas’ wounds- and King Lao just screams past them,, a few seconds later Bi Han is following in hot pursuit with a look of murder on his face.

Seeing people take ur quiz in the comments/reblogs of that post; it seems like Leo might be one of the harder ones for people to get.

(Which, if this is true, it is kind of even funnier than it was before, considering how much u like to make him suffer, that u, virg, got him

Interesting; wonder why (esp. since I know a lot people kin him. Maybe they kin him, but also, are afraid to be him, because well, the universe has it out for him).

Also, haven't taken the quiz yet, but seeing o the descriptions for the boys is just wow; u get me in the heart. You get them so well.

It's not really intentional on my part, but i can see why Leo's hard to get.

I know Leo is popular amongst the fandom (it applies to other iterations too and i am guilty of that fact because i write mainly about him) and we know what happens to popular characters, sometimes they are mischaracterized a lot to make them seem better.

To other people, Leo is this cool serious guy, this badass person when in reality the closest personality I can assign him as in the real world is that he's one of us. As in, he makes and writes fanfiction, probably. And he's a teenage boy, so all that confidence he has is just to mask all the insecurities this poor boy has in his shell.

If you stick a Leonardo in a real highschool setting, he's not gonna be the cool kid, he's gonna the kid that the teachers like, but also the kid that only has a few friends because his interests is very obscure. He's the type to rather hang out in the background, and he's cool with that, as long as he has friends, he's fine. You get to really see his confident side if you're really close with hin and you'll realize "Wow, this guy is so cool, why does no one want to befriend him?"

He gives me that vibes, you know?

With other quizzes it's really obvious on who you're gonna get based on the answers like "Pick a color h e h e" and they'll give you their mask colors. The difference between my quiz and the others is that I actually base the answers on their personalities.

Here's one example.

The cereal question?

Yeah, Leo's the guy that eats cereal without milk. He has the vibe, you know? He eats that shit like it's a snack and not breakfast. (i also eat cereal this way, because in my country, you're a rich kid if you get to have cereal for breakfast. The only things we have is those little sachets of chocolate looking cereal and we eat those like potato chips. It's not common for an average filipino household to have cereal, let alonr a toaster)

Mikey is unhinged so it's obvious he's the guy eating cereal and milk separately.

Raph's the guy that puts cereal and then milk, like a normal ass person.

Donnie puts milk before cereal because he's a picky eater and doesn't want his cereal soggy plus he has a scientific explanation with the surface tension and all that jazz (we see him not eating the pizza crust, he's a picky eater)

Based on that question alone, i bet all of you answered Raph's or Donnie's

That question might seem silly but it tells a lot about the characters.

And besides, even if you didn't get what you expected from the test, sometimes it's something that you needed to hear. You never know how much the character is actually like you until you get a deeper understanding of them.

But don't listen to me, i'm just some random person on the internet that just loves to over analyze turtles.

ok my hcs for miguel: 1) he’s normally pretty good at hiding his reactions but the trick is to catch him by surprise…and since he doesnt have spidey senses it’s actually not as hard to tickle him as it might sound lmao 2) he’s the type that cant help himself from responding w something that provokes his tickler. like he’ll reflexively respond w something cold/mean/sarcastic etc instead of playing nice for even a second, which earns him more tickling lol 3) he’s a grump but after he gets tickled he has a hard time keeping a little smile off his face for a bit. if lyla or anyone else points it out he’ll force a scowl but like,,, its hard to deny that he’s in a slightly better mood after being tickled even if he complains about it.

Giving them a flat look and raising one bitchy brow agjksgkgsj But if he was distracted by something and you snuck up behind him and squeezed that criminally small waist?? He’s jolting like he just got electrocuted- and if you’re realllly lucky, you might get a choked out laugh~ You have to work up the nerve to try in the first place but the possibility of reward is high 😌

2. Thisthisthisthis yes I love this so much orz I actually thought back to this ask when I was answering T for the tickly alphabet lolol But I love the idea that most of the time he’s not even actively trying to provoke his ler, he just can’t help but be a snarky ass lmaoo this man cannot bring himself to be nice and bite his tongue even for his own sake which in my opinion would make it even more fun to break him down enough to the point where he regrets it and apologizes 👀 oop-

3. God this is so cute ;; Miguel is so tense and pent up, he needs some kind of release every now and then. And one that actively releases dopamine?? Because I trust your judgement, how would Namor and Ororo's first meet go? I'm becoming increasingly invested in the possibilities of these two because we have a fine ass Namor and it's ORORO. I'm not sure if it would canon-compliant considering we still don't have 'Ro in the MCU, but like in your mind, how would it go?

Honestly, there are so many avenues it could go and I'll be honest I'm conflicted on how I'd actually want it.

(Mind you: I fully realize that this could seem creepy but Namor's reasons for coming out of the sea are pretty rare. So. It doesn't foster a typical meet-cute. Also sorry that this took so long to answer but also that it's not even done lmaoo.)

Option 1:

Namor catches a glimpse of her while training, She's sky-riding just letting loose and having fun. Perhaps she's on vacation?) and he's mesmerized because when has the surface world ever produced something so beautiful? Never, so then she must be divinely made. A logical deduction tbh.

He hears her relaxed melodic laughter and is CHARMED. He keeps a low profile because he doesn't want to be found out but also because he doesn't want to disturb her and also a little bewildered because no surface dwellers have flown without some sort of device in all his years.

He leaves Ororo feeling a little enchanted but sends scouts out just to be sure she isn't a possible threat. He is a leader after all.

They find nothing.

Then it's MONTHS until he sees her again and the only reason why he sees her is that a part of the ocean is being disturbed. Underwater twisters are getting a bit too close to Talokan and he needs to figure out why it's happening and put an end to it. He notices that twisters aren't being caused by the currents but from above.

So he ventures out of the ocean and sees that the sky is in chaos. Something in him tells him not to write this off. That a storm like this isn't natural. So he again ventures higher and ends up seeing Ororo.

Ororo is clearly distraught over something despite all the rain he can see the pain in her eyes and posture.

She was making this happen?

He slowly ventures towards her. He makes his presence known.

it takes her a minute to notice him but when she does the shock of seeing someone else in the air unaided by machinery snaps her out of sadness and puts her in defensive mode.

He does his best to tell her that he means no harm but it isn't until he shouts, " GODDESS, MY PEOPLE ARE IN DANGER!"

That she relents. She looks down and sees figures staring up and she's appalled. She does her best to calm herself down, and soon enough the skies clear and the only sound is the water below.

Then it's just them. Staring eye to eye

The moon was their backdrop. Her hair glowed from the light of the moon. Her eyes finally revealed a blue only captured after an intense storm. Skin shining like precious jewels. In all his years no one has made him so speechless.

She's the one to break eye contact. She gets skittish, clearly remorseful. He sees the shame envelope her. He isn't mad, more so worried. Not of the power, that this being possessed but of the cause of the unleashing.

What has caused a goddess such distress?

"I-I am...so sorry! I came here because I thought- Well, clearly I was mistaken." Quickly wiping her face, " Please, was anyone hurt?"

He tells her no. He watches her as her body relaxes, her eyes shining with tears once more but her mouth turns upwards into a grateful smile.

" Thank you, Bright Lady...and you, you've stopped me from making a tragic mistake." She whispers as she cups the front of her face with her hands. " Thank you, thank you, thank you..."

There was silence again before Ororo finally collected herself and looked directly at him.

He feels his heart beginning to race, and his mouth becomes dry leaving him unable to speak. She looks at him with wonder and warmth.

"The world is filled with such wonders. A people that live under the sea without detection...? Do not worry I will not tell a soul. Again, please forgive my disturbance. Goodbye."

She's about to fly off when he finally finds his voice.

" My name is Kukuklan." He did not tell of his other name, for he never wanted to be her enemy. "....and your name Goddess?"

He sees her become a little shy, which he finds endearing, but she answers the question that has been plaguing him for months.

"Ororo, but I'm no Goddess I'm afraid."

The name suits her perfectly, he thinks.

" Well In my humble estimation, no human could hold such power or even be worthy of such a gift. So I'm afraid...the title will have to stand. "

She smiles at him, shaking her head. " You're too kind. I've made such a poor and disastrous introduction and yet you compliment me. I should go."

" As I've said no harm was done, but if you really must go...I only hope your heart is now lighter than it was before, Goddess."

" Thank you." She takes the sincerity in his words for what they are. Trying to swallow down the embarrassment of being caught in a such vulnerable state. "If we meet again, I hope it is under much better circumstances. Goodbye."

She finally flies off and leaves the God King to his own thoughts.

By the next morning, another mural is added to his wall.

so my friend from school invited me to her house for drinks & monopoly. im competitive, i needed to win- but we got so deep into our convos & kept forgetting whos turn it was so we gave up on the game. by this time im already feeling it hard, a handful of shots & only hot cheetos in my system 😭 ikik js im vegetarian & they only had pepperoni pizza-

at the start it was 5 of us, my school friend (G), her husband, her bsf (P) & another school friend + mee

her husband left for his night shift. the other school friend left home early. G + P were crossfaded cus they were smokin too. theres a balcony so while they smoke out there, i join them so i wont be alone inside. its winter for us, it got cold, i cuddled P on the bench & then kind of blacked out?? next thing i remember is seeing G showing us her boobs😭 & then we took turns showing them off & i was like jaja this is funnyy but i have to pee ,,going back inside i biffed it, falling on my face & P comes to help me but before i stand up, shes pouring more shots in my mouth. i black out again. next thing i remember is falling on my ass against the sink counter in the bathroom. the lights are off, i look up and see P & we were doing a fewwww thingss wink wink -black out again. next memory is being in the guest room, all 3 of us making out & i vividly remember being like yo is ur husband & ur bf gonna be okayy with thiiss..

Oh you GOT to be fucking kidding me?? LOOOL GOTTA PAY TO SEE THAT PHOTO?? Okay look. I don’t care if there are answers that you have to use batteries on, and that his private account is behind the subscription… but this??? What is even the fucking point. I don’t like that in part of the actual game, there are choices related to stuff that we HAVE to pay for in order to get the context. WHY GIVE US OPTIONS THAT DIRECTLY INVOLVES A PIC THAT FREE USERS CANT EVEN SEE??? Cheritz COME ON NOW??? Let subscription users have their features since they paid a shit ton for it, but at the same time don’t take away the experience from the free players??? This really is just penny pinching at this point… in MM it was so generous… and because I enjoyed the game and characters so much, I was MORE THAN HAPPY to support and buy stuff from Cheritz… for this game, just the thought of putting money into this… where idk if I like Teo or not, actually infuriates me… what tf happened LOOL Also I’m still trying to find out the correlation between the Labs and Teo’s story. Right now the premise isn’t clear to me??? But don’t tell me, I’ll figure it out eventually… it’s hard to not compare this game to its predecessor, but in both characterization and story-wise… I was EASILY much more invested in MM. Simple and straight to the point. Plan a party, fall in love. This game is… talking to some rando… and idk space exploration via forums…

The micro transactions in the game is such a buzz kill. I know Cheritz wanted to make this game “immersive” with Teo taking breaks between messages and this game being more of a steady pace, in terms of getting to know the character... But to have the constant reminder that if I want Teo to come back faster, I have to pay, if I want to see Teo’s fucking same face selfie, I have to pay, if I want to call Teo, I have to pay, if I want to choose a certain option, I have to pay, if I want him to type faster, I HAVE TO PAY. Do you realize HOW MUCH THAT TAKES AWAY FROM THE IMMERSION LMAOO??? The constant ads, and reminders that for the cool/convenient features in this game… I have to pay.

When I played MM bc it wasn’t riddled with ads and the characters were so full of personality, it felt SO immersive. I can see into their world and it’s easy to FEEL INCLUDED within the group. Easy to feel for all the characters and their struggles, their joy— whereas Teo… he falls SO short in terms of connecting with me as a player. It’s like I’m stuck on awkward small talk for the past week and it makes it very hard for me to care as much since he’s not really funny, nor expressive, it’s hard for me to gauge what kind of personality he has bc convos are short and usually just about whatever BS he got going on. This is such a long vent— idk why I got set off when I saw that that pic was behind a paywall and all the options were related to that locked pic LOL like I’m not dreading my experience in this game because I GENUINELY want to know what this game is about, but at the same time, it’s not something where I’m highly anticipating when I get to talk to Teo next. Unlike when I go into the MM Chatrooms and I never know what kind of thing to expect— the conversations with them could either go super deep or plain ridiculous where I’m laughing my ass off. I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT HAPPENED!!!

a/n: omfg this is literally so ass i wrote this at 2am when i was very sleep deprived so i apologise for this lmaoo

bertholdt hoover was quiet at the best of times, he was quiet in a way that if you didn't know him, you would get the impression that he wasn't enjoying your company when in fact this wasn't the case at all, y/n knew this, and didn't mind taking the lead in conversations, they knew he preferred to listen.

the two grew up together and formed a comfortable companionship, outsiders saw them as inseparable, a pair, where y/n went bertholdt followed.

such was the case on a boring dreary day after school, the two often studied together, this particular day bertholdt found himself rather distracted from his piling homework. y/n was very obviously struggling with sone trivial question but bertholdt couldn't help but focus on the arch of their brow as they were focusing intently on their work, the way they unconsciously chewed the end of their pen in concentration, the way their eyes, although tired, shine as they jot down their answers. even in these mundane moments he couldn't help but think about how fond he was of them. he wished he could find the words to tell them how he felt, but everytime he tried to put his feelings into words he backed out feeling like a coward.

he wished you knew how much he loved them, everyone else could see it and constantly teased the two about it, he wished they didn't deny their feelings, he wished y/n felt the same way.

y/n felt bertholdt's stare burning into them and gave him a small, gentle smile. "you almost finished bert?" he felt his cheeks heat up as he was caught in the act. bertholdt simply nodded and pretended to read his textbook.

little did bertholdt know that y/n felt exactly the same way. y/n loved bertholdt for as long as they could remember, they wished they could gather up the courage to just ask him out, they had an inkling that he felt the same way, but the embarrassment and humiliation that comes with rejection proved too daunting. they didnt want to ruin the friendship they had if anything happened between them.

"fuck it" y/n thought to themself, and they looked up into bert's deep green eyes, "bertholdt, i really like you, and not just in a friends kind of way" bertholdt's eyes widened in surprise, if he was red in the face before, he thought he must look like a tomato now, he was stunned into silence. "its okay if you don't like me back, in fact its probably better that way, let's just forget i even said anything" y/n nervously blurted.

bertholdt felt himself begin to panic internally, he was shocked, "y/n actually likes me back" he thought. in the backround he could still hear y/n ranting on. bertholdt gathered up all his courage, remembering the advice his 'wingman' reiner had given him previously and shut y/n up with a timid peck on the lips.

y/n immediately stopped talking and returned the kiss, in complete disbelief that this was actually happening.

bertholdt nervously cleared his throat and said "i like you too y/n... im sorry i couldn't tell you earlier, but i do, and i have for a long time now" taking y/n's hand in his larger one and looking into their eyes. y/n just widely smiled and kissed his cheek glad they finally came clean about their feelings for each other.

hey baby ! i started reading that webtoon earlier today (i read 3 chapters) and honey, i'll be honest, its kinda boring, BUT would you give me some spoilers to, idk, hype me up lol. like CHARACTER X DIES. or CHARACTER Y IS EVIL. or idk lol oR YOU COULD TELL ME WHEN THE GUY ON YOUR ICON APPEARS !!!!

hiii !!!!! so sorry for the late reply but i wanted to be able to like . give a thought-out, proper answer and life got in the way of me getting to that quicker- my bad :((

ill agree that the first couple chapters of weak hero arent super exciting, because it can be a bit of a slowburn story, but it gets much more interesting i swear :,) from where you said youre at, its not long before characters like teddy get introduced (and teddy vs gray is still one of my fave fights bc its the first big example of how calculated gray can be), and while hes a total dickbag at first, he actually ends up becoming a part of the main friend group !! so that whole arc of him becoming likeable is p interesting to see, esp after rowan gets introduced around chap 40-ish ?? they have a rlly cool friendship :)))

after that is grays backstory where we learn about his friend, who ended up in a coma because of someone they were friends with :// i wont spoil the details, but i will say its a major part as to why hes at eunjang- its a really sad story to read, but gray ends up coming out of his shell a lot more overtime, which is really nice to see~

as for wolf, he doesnt properly show up until chap 60, but when he does we get into the whole arc of him vs gray, which spoilers!! does not end well for wolf, but he ends up being a rlly important character to the story (esp where things are now---) so while it takes a while for him to appear, its totally worth the wait- (this might be my bias showing, buttttt :,))

i will say the best things about weak hero, imo, are the backstories and the characters + their dynamics !! esp rhe backstories because once you learn them, so many things about the characters actions, their overall personality and motives, and facts about them that seem important but you dont know why, make wayyy more sense- gerards is my personal favorite bc i love him, but its not until 100 chapters in :,))))

im trying to think of other things but i havent read through the whole webtoon in a while 😭😭 and a lot of the exciting stuff that i could spoil (like wolfs excommunication, jake vs ben, jimmy secretly working w ex-union member myles, etc) sadly doesnt happen until later on :,)) but the build-up to all of that is still engaging !! once things get moving in the story, theres always something going on thats foreshadowing for future arcs

that being said if its not your cup of tea, dont even worry !!!! and sorry for the long ass ramble LMAOO- hopefully this is enough to get you hyped up, but no worries either way :))

BTS REACTION: Birthday

Decided to make this since today is my birthday…enjoy I guess. It’s ass lmaoo

Namjoon:

“I want you to make me a song for my birthday namjoon.” You exclaim, grabbing his arm excitedly to drag him to the studio.

He doesn’t move. “Y/n how many times do I have to tell you? I don’t make songs for just anybody.”

You pout but he doesn’t really care.

But after some time thinking, he finally makes a proposition. “I’ll only make you a song if you break up with me.”

“How’s that fair?”

“It’s not but I don’t want to be that person to break up with someone on their birthday so..” he trails off, looking over at you with a grin.

You fold your arms in defeat. “Never mind.”

His eyes go into panic for a second, “You sure you don’t want a song? Please reconsider it by today. I got to get married tomorrow.”

Jin:

“Okay…?” He takes out a 20 and hands it to you.

“This should be enough for your hair.” He smiles at you but you’re not satisfied.

“What am I going to do with that?” You sadly ask, grabbing the money and pocketing it.

Jin scoffs at your tone. “Well I thought since you have a couple strands of hair, it wouldn’t take much money for someone to do it. But excuse me for thinking logically.”

Yoongi:

“Happy birthday.” He tells you and hangs up.

You call again, wondering why he did that, and you were greeted with a dark screen when he picks up.

“What? I said happy birthday..isn’t that enough? What else you want? Money? Food?”

You roll your eyes at him, as you couldn’t believe him. “It’s my birthday and all you want to say is ‘happy birthday’?”

You see the lights go on to see that he’s looking at you dumbfounded.

“…did you hear what you just said to me y/n? This is why we break up every 2-3 business days. You never make sense.”

Hoseok:

He plans out this special place for you, even going as far as blindfolding you and you were excited.

“You can take it off now.” You can hear the joy in his voice so you joyfully take it off only to be greeted with a big yellow arch.

“McDonald’s?”

He giggles at your tone. “I thought long and hard what I should do for you since supreme boi stole my card a couple of days ago.”

Your mouth hangs open as you remembered that last night you saw a post of him and supreme boi hanging out together.

Jimin:

“It’s either I buy you something or I buy taehyung something.”

“Well I’m your s/o, so you should pick me.”

Jimin starts laughing so hard, that he drops to the floor, rolling around.

You look at him for a moment, not sure what was funny.

After some time, he gets up with a serious expression on his face. “So what should I get Tae?”

Taehyung:

“Sorry I couldn’t be with you on your birthday y/n, just know that I l-“ the call drops and you hurriedly dial it again, because you knew that this was the first time he’s ever said ‘I love you’ and that excited you.

The phone rings and rings again but no one answers. You think it’s your service or phone, so you go out of your way to see your friend to use their phone, and you dial his number again.

He never answered and after hours of waiting, he texted you.

‘Lol my bad, I almost said something outta pocket. Happy birthday though.’

Jungkook:

He couldn’t be there for your birthday so instead he he texts you.

‘Happy birthday I guess. I’m going to send you some flowers or something like that.’

You decided to watch some of your shows, waiting for the promised flowers.

After hours go by you hear knocking at your door and with the quickness you open it to see some daisies on the door step with a note attached to it.

First of all thank you for taking the time to answer the survey, second of all I HOPE YOU'RE READY for this because I am very passionate about prosody and I get super happy when people are interested :))

So basically, there were no right or wrong answers. I put forward some hypotheses and the survey was merely conducted to see if those hypotheses were correct or not.

It's true, both sarcasm and irony rely heavily on verbal and nonverbal cues, meaning both word choice and body language/facial expressions. I guess the results would've differed greatly from what I have now if this had been a face-to-face survey. Not only that but we would've needed to make a distinction between people who know each other and strangers as well, and potential regional dialects. I imagine this is why several participants told me how difficult they found it to choose an answer.

However, a face-to-face survey messes with the prosodic part of the paper which focuses exclusively on paraverbal cues!! This is where it gets exciting!! All of the audio files differed in F0 (fundamental frequency), duration and pitch variation. The speaker only said the sentence once ("wOw gUt gEmAcHt") but through synthesis, meaning manipulating the signal manually, I made different sounding versions of it.

Now for the results: it seems like a flat F0 (little pitch variation) is seen as sarcastic to the majority while a lot of pitch variation is seen as authentic. Longer vowel duration like on "wow" and "gut" also supports sarcasm. A lower mean F0 appears to make a small but neglectable difference in being seen as sarcastic, still interesting to note though.

That said, we're not used to relying solely on paraverbal cues without nonverbal/verbal ones to help us detect sarcasm so it's no surprise that we find it challenging to do so! (Might also be the reason why sarcasm tends to get lost through e.g. phone calls hehe)

Idk) but there’s also a lot from like, random books about pirates, which we can’t even be sure about the validity of those sources 🤔 it’s interesting to think about. but like I figure a lot of that stuff is passed down through fancy tales and stories especially when it comes to the really famous pirates. like, israel hands wasn’t that big but he did work under blackbeard, so 🤷

anyways yeah but ON THE TOPIC OF THE DADDY THING AND CON LMAOOO so I was lowkey (highkey) freaking out recently because there was a convention :O Con O’Neill and another actor from OFMD appeared at a comic con and did a panel and I lost my MIIND lmao 😂😂 it was the first time I’ve ever gotten to hear Con really talk about Izzy since he hasn’t done any interviews for ofmd and it was super exciting!!! Plus I’m just hyperfixated on Con too so it was like. CAL HYPERFIXATION EVENT EXTREME MODE GHSHSHHS I was bouncing off the walls

he did actually talk about the daddy bit!! 😂 turns out it was indeed improvised by him on the spot and he didn’t even really register that he was doing it until he heard the words come out of his mouth GHSHSHJSJS. he then proceeded to full on growl ‘daddy’ into the mic bc he’s insane like that sggsgshsb

he also joked about taking his shirt off REPEATEDLY during the whole thing so like. I feel like that just answers your questions about this man lmaooo he’s so funny to me
