With all due respect, Yuu is a hypocrite after chapter 136. Wdym you're going to be Shikama's successor... how many times before did he say that the past did not matter to him. I recall him saying something like that in chapter 74 to Ashera, chapter 113 with Shinoa and Guren and chapter 130 with Mika. I feel like he's chasing after ghosts atp and he's going to cause lots of hurt to the rest of the cast.

Maybe that's what he meant of how he's going to continue Shikama's circle of abuse lmao. He tricked his father's plan, but that doesn't mean it would have worked in the first place.

Also, kinda against it since vampires have their own motivation now and they're far different individuals as of their angel versions.

Hmm, that's a valid thought. I can't speak up for everyone but it is a valid to think that way towards Yuu's character.

Hmm, the thing with the main theme of the story is pretty much about love and how it can distort and take many shapes which we've seen along the yourney.

It's true as you stated; he has stated he is living in the present but it is clear to which point his mindset aligns to.

What do I mean?

Shikama and Yuu have one similar type of love or well, rather, they share the same sentiment even back when Yuu had no recollection of who he was in the past. That said, such love is aligned to embracing the past, a disrespect towards life and living in the old days.

With this, there's a second factor when it comes to their mindset which is literally the very fact that both see that there shouldn't be repercutions or consequences to their actions.

What does this mean?

With Shikama. Shikama was never able to understand why his angels were punished; he considered that the sole sinner was him alone given that he pretty much did the three forbidden acts:

Apothanasia standing for prolonging the life of those that are bound to die; of course, for angels in this case they were bound to accept that their time was over but Shikama sought more; furthermore, his angels believed ans crowned him as their God and King hence the weight of the punishment but still, Shikama didn't see the wrong of that.

When it comes to Yuu, he is falling in the same spot as Shikama did all those years ago which is highly visible in his fight with Asuramaru.

Asuramaru for sure was the most loyal to Shikama just like his previous life as an angel. But given how he was merely seen as a tool; he realized that those promises that were given to him were empty.

Allowing him to realize after such a long time that he really didn't treasure the fragility of life. Ashera concludes that making Krul an immortal was a terrible mistake whereas Yuu opposed saying that that's how humanity should be like.

This too is reflected on the point you stated.

Yuu might be the protagonist of the story; but that doesn't make him a hero. But that's the journey itself. How will it end this? Perhaps that angel that delivered punishment is likely to appear. After all, everything has a consequence.

Hey, could you please write Morticia Addams x reader pregnant x Gomez Addams. I know you've already written one story like that, but I mean more about their behavior after the reader have left the waters (sorry for my probably terrible English)

No worries about the English, you didn't do too bad at all. I hope you don't mind that it's in a headcanon format, like the other one.

How Gomez and Morticia react to you going into labour

Notes/Warnings; AFAB!Reader, pregnancy, labour, pain and slight mentions of the grossness of childbirth

You probably react very differently to Morticia when you start getting contractions

Where she was stoic and matter-of-fact, even enjoying the pain, you’re a lot more reactive

You’re sat with Pubert on your lap, watching Wednesday and Pugsley’s presentation of sorts about historical burial techniques, when the twinges and jolts you’ve felt all day finally become a noticeable contraction

Even then, you don’t fully react above a gasp and exhale of pain, thinking it’s just another twinge of late pregnancy, until the next one about ten minutes later. You cry out, interrupting Pugsley in the middle of a faux-disembowling, and the children all look at you in shock until you say “The Baby’s coming.”

Thing gets the others together while the children help you down the many stairs, where Tish, Gomez, Fester, Grandmama, and Lurch are all waiting. The ready bag has been sat for almost a month now, but the final little bits have already been added and put into the car.

Lurch actually comes up and carries you the rest of the way down the stairs and is set to take you out to the car until you tell him that you’re fine, you can walk to the car. He places you down gently only for your hand to be instantly taken by Gomez with his arm around your waist.

Gomez and Tish are the only ones to come with you, Lurch driving, with everyone else coming along afterwards to see the newest addition to the family.

You have a hand in yours on either side as the contractions get worse, and they guide you into the hospital while coaching you through each contraction

You’re not quite ready to give birth just yet, so the two of them wait with you in the room. They want it to be over for you as quickly and painlessly as possible, so they’ll both encourage you to walk about as much as you can (probably joining Gomez in his pacing)

Morticia goes through breathing exercises when the contractions get too much, and they’ll each go through birthing positions with you to help ease the pain and encourage the baby to come quicker

When, finally, the nurse says that you’re ready, they’re both allowed to come in with you. Gomez wants to know every detail of what you’re feeling, and though Tish won’t ask outright, she’s just as fascinated as him about your pained reactions

Gomez will hold your hand and shower you in compliments that, even in your pain, you can’t think to yell at him for. Morticia will be petting your head, speaking carefully and soothingly.

You have no idea how long the labour lasts, you don’t care much about that, but you know that at some point the pain subsides and you hear a cry that makes Gomez’ face brighten and your heart lift.

The baby is placed on your chest, face all scrunched up and gummy mouth open in a cry, still covered in goop and blood. They soon quiet down at the feeling of your skin and their eyes open a little. Their first sight is of you, sweaty and gross and flushed, and Gomez and Tish, all smiling at them in pure love.

Afterwards, when the baby is cleaned up, you have a moment with your lovers and the newest member of the family. Gomez is the first, after you, to hold them and does so with proud tears in his eyes. He kisses the small bundle on the head before passing them to Morticia, and then he comes over to hug you and kiss you as Morticia tells you how proud of you they both are, how amazing you are, how beautiful you are and always will be to them.

You stay overnight for observation, for both you and the newborn, and Morticia stays with you while Gomez goes home to make sure everything is ready for the baby. She sleeps in the bed with you and wakes with you when the baby starts fussing, helping you with anything you’re not sure about.

When you get home, the rest of the family is awkwardly gathered in the living room, waiting to be introduced to the newest member of the family.

First to see the baby are their siblings. Wednesday looks over them with her usual stoicism and introduces herself, while Pugsley has a grin on his round face when the baby tries to put his finger in their mouth before Morticia guides his hand away. Pubert is fascinated, being only a small child himself, and is actually a little cautious to touch them until Gomez encourages hm and he giggles at the way they grab his finger so tightly.

Grandmama has brought them a small bear she made, their first toy, and Fester coos at them but doesn’t touch them in case he gives them a shock. Lurch is stoic and still until the baby grabs one of his fingers and burbles, when he smiles a little and hums.

The baby is enthralled by Thing but doesn’t flinch when he scuttles up into the bed. Wide eyes and mouth open, the baby reaches over and grabs his middle finger, and Thing shakes their hand which makes them babble again.

You're glad that the baby feels comfortable with the attention, since there is bound to be a party for the newborn in the coming months, just as there was with your pregnancy announcement.

Allo anon again, I just wanted to come in here one more time to say that I didn't mean to make you cry, but I am happy that I have brought you and other people joy! I will take any chance I get to gush about my gf because she is a wonderful woman and deserves the world. :3

I don't know much about France, but I do know that in North America there is starting to be more asexual awareness in the medical field and outside of it. Many people still find it weird, but at least within LGBTQ+ spaces, I've seen it become more welcomed. I hope that within my lifetime, it can be far more accepted.

I may not fully understand the asexual experience, but as an autistic person, I know what it's like to know that you are in some way invisibly different from your peers. To have wants and desires that make people look at you sideways. To have people say to your face that they think you are a fundamentally broken person, and that your life is not worth living. I know how frustrating it can feel to be boxed in because of others' assumptions. But just because you do not fit into what is "normal" does not make your path any less worth taking.

The beauty of humanity comes from the diversity of its experiences. There are so many ways to make connections with other people, animals, and nature. No matter what others might tell you, I believe that the universe is not fundamentally cruel, but kind. The world DOES have a place for all of us in it, it just takes more time for some people to find their niche.

I also wanted to reaffirm to everyone out there that regardless of if you want sex, romance, or neither, and regardless of if you want a long term partner or not, you are valid. I'm friends with a couple other aces and aros, and they are amazing creatives, scientists, and friends. No matter what you want out of life, you, the person reading this, deserves people who will care for you and respect you in a way that honours your boundaries. You deserve acceptance and happiness. Even if things get difficult, I sincerely hope that you will find what you are looking for. And in the meantime, I am offering digital hugs, high-fives, and pastries of your choice :)

"You're really getting a tattoo on your neck?" Gina asks sitting beside Lewis who's watching as Yn scribbles something on the paper the tattoo artist gave her. They were yet unaware that the tattoo would be in Mick's and Yn's handwriting, both just knew the couple was getting matching tattoos. Well, new matching tattoos because they already had done it the last month. Yn sporting the number 47 just behind her ear, and Mick sporting a small shoe in the same location.

Mick nods to Gina, "Yeah, it'll look good," he grins at Yn who playfully rolls her eyes, trying to keep the anticipation of kissing her own handwriting on his neck.

"Your is gonna be in your neck as well?" Lewis asks his sister, but Yn shakes her head.

"Mine will be on my wrist," she turns it up, pointing to the exact place with the pen in her hands.

Mick grabs a pen, writing "Schatzi" in it a couple times, before showing Yn, "Is this a good size?"

Gina and Lewis shared a look finally understanding what their baby siblings were doing. Gina has a grin bigger than her face, and Lewis just chuckles watching the whole scene unfold. He's happy for Yn, though he'll definitely talk with Mick again, just for a measure, because now the German has two marks on his baby sister, two tattoos when he only has one with her.

The artist starts to explain the whole procedure even though they were there just a few weeks back. Mick and Yn are sitting side by side and nod along. They're holding hands, keeping them laced while Mick gets his tattoo. He makes some faces at Yn and holds back the laughter when she winces for him in a particular spot. It doesn't take long. It's a fairly small tattoo, "mouse" in cursive letters. Her nickname for him. The silly little name she's been calling him even before they got together. When it's her turn, things are almost the same. Gina and Lewis from the back filming and joking, and Mick and Yn holding hands.

Mick bends to capture her lips in a quick kiss when she whines about how the first S is hurting. It's in capital letters, and it's his handwriting. He feels a surge of pride watching the drawing getting form. Yn is distracted enough by his kisses and whispers to whine again. And when it's finished they're both smiling at the other.

"This looks so cool," Yn gazes at Mick's neck, his new tattoo covered by a thin layer of protector foil.

"Well, we are done with tattoos for a long while now, yeah?" Lewis quirks his brows, clearly joking with the couple. Yn shows him her tongue, and Mick just shrugs, both silently hiding the fact that they're are already having new ideas.

Yn's body was his temple, and Mick was a feverish devotee. She was his queen, and he was her proud subject. Of course, he would have her eternalized on his skin in a way that everyone could see.

I’m trying to put myself in Caiti’s perspective re: being aware of how many followers everyone in the room had. I’m around her age and if i was a creator at vidcon, trying to make a name for myself, and I was surrounded by these creators who had essentially changed the entire mcyt space and brought it to the general public i’d feel a little out of my depth too.

I think where George saw this as more of a hangout with friends, she saw it as more of a networking thing (such as in her response where she mentioned there was another creator she wanted to meet, and that’s why she came to Dream’s room). So i do understand where she’s coming from and i think it’s fair for her to feel that way

just to inform you, (i dont know your diagnosis or anything) but if you have autism/adhd or similar conditions, CBT rarely helps because the exposure therapy of it all can lead to overstimulation and other things that just make you feel worse instead of better if you're already in a bad place at the time. also if you often feel like you're too self aware for some parts of therapy it can also have something to do with that kind of diagnosis etc. (obviously therapy for working through trauma is different and helpful.)

I already left a comment about this, but Dick and Jason seem to be going through the process of… mind melding? With each other faster than the rest of the bond members. That’s super interesting to me because of how they’ve been teaming up to look shield Bruce and such. I wonder if they’re going to realize that…

I'm so glad you noticed this, anon! I think one or two other commenters caught it as well. Proximity to Bruce, as the center, and proximity to "strong" minds seems to fuel the process of overlap.

What's interesting to me, the writer, is how much of Bruce is eclipsing his kids, versus how much already has before the bond was even in place. Is Jason doing something a Bruce-ism, and if so, is it one that was already present before the bond snapped into place? Is it just coming out now, because it's easier?

Dick and Jason overlapping brings me great joy to write. Them flanking Bruce, them being the first line of defense behind his shields, his lieutenants essentially for the rest of the bond -- and the enactors of his contingency, should the need arise. Of course, with that shared purpose and proximity with each other, their lines would begin to blur.

Despite Bruce and J'onn's fears, they're not subsuming each other. Yes, things are being blurred and shared -- Dick's posture being Jason's on the Watchtower, Jason softening slightly when Dick would and normally he wouldn't -- but they're not fundamentally altering who they are, or losing their sense of self. Just borrowing things when convenient, overlapping without thinking because it's easier.

A lot of this will be relevant soon. I just need to get my butt in gear and start writing.

I like the theory that Beatrice taught Ava how to write legibly because her handwriting changed so much from season 1 ("I want to live" note) compared to season 2 (start of letter to Beatrice scene) instead of it being an oversight.

OMG yes bc youre right. Ava who has been paralyzed most her life never had to write anything so when she does its all very stiff and rigid (s1 note) but here comes beatrice who we know excels in all things scholar and literature, teaching ava how to write properly and im seeing that it would have been working towards cursive by the look of how closely each letter is to one another (s2 note, bc cursive is elite and beatrice likes old fashion writing). Lets all think about beatrice having those pieces of paper with tracing alphabet stencils and guiding ava through it, slowly progressing to writing her name over and over again ( but we all know ava liked being a lil shit and prob wrote like curse words or something like that kjsbdkjf or something like "bea is cute" with doodles to fluster beatrice ) But i love the fact that beatrice was teaching ava regular stuff like this to make her feel less like a warrior nun with a heavy responsibility but more of a young adult managing through life like working at the bar and meeting casual friends!! i would like to think about how they both taught each other new things about being a person who was just existing for the sake of being alive.

also Jason Todd for survivors of abusive systems </3. I lived in a country under dictatorship that we ended up having to flee from (self exile or refuges, you decide) after they took my father from me.

Jason is someone who acts against the system and rules ,for the people the system pretends to be about, but is actually against. He is a protector, when we were kids and used to hear about things the resistance did, and we would absolutely myth-ify those people to something super human. They sounded exactly like red hood.

That's why it annoys me when people claim that he isn't better than a cop or his fans are pro death penalty. No he is so personal, he is a revenge fantasy, he is a savior fantasy, he is so much things.

Absolutely anon. One thing I love about Jason is that you can take Bruce as a father figure, or Bruce (+ larger vigilante system) as a justice+enforcement system. Jason stands out as a resistence to the status quo, questioning the values of the powers that be and following his own sense of justice.

His focus on harms done and prevention + effective relief make him stand out. It's not just about rescuing a citizen in their moment of need, it's about taking out the persistent threats to well-being and calling out the hypocrisies of the other self-appointed protectors.

Even without Bruce he is a victim of institutional negligence and oppression, having been left on the streets to fend for himself as a child and run away from a foster system not built to serve him but to keep him from becoming a "problem". And the power fantasy of someone who has been repeatedly in life victimized by those in higher power, to come back still with the strength to help those whose positions he is familiar with, that is applicable to any kind of abusive system.

To me Jason Todd is a hero without the anti-(hero), because I see the story from his narrative viewpoint. I see the Robin Hood hero of the people in him. Him being perceived as a threat to "true justice" by other vigilante characters feels fitting to me, because that's how the resistance is treated irl. Just that maybe Batman's justice isn't as true as he likes to believe it is. And Jason is right to call him out for his inadequacy and how he failed to live up to what the Batman was supposed to be, when he started his crusade of justice.

Skurvy illegally pirates tv shows but in the end he learns its bad because it hurts companies

Cranky kong takes over the show to show how much better the original series was (its shit because the new show is soooo much better >:))

King k rool doesnt appear until the last episode as a hook for a season 2 that never happens
