idk what to say about sasha banks without making a post that’s 7000 words long that nobody wants to read. so im just gonna say im so proud of her for paving a new way for women’s wrestling in wwe like she always wanted to. im so proud of her for main eventing wrestlemania like she always dreamt of. im so proud of her for having an incredible career despite wwe’s best attempts to hold her back.

and im so sad she wants to leave the company she grew up loving so much that she never saw herself doing anything else. im so sad this isn’t even the first time they have made her want to leave. and im so sad it’s for a reason as silly as this. becky said something about her when she came back in 2019 that really struck a chord—“sasha banks is the greatest wrestler to have never been great” and i think that’s one of the biggest reasons im upset about her leaving despite me always complaining about how they treat her. especially now with the landscape of the company possibly, finally, hopefully changing, she never got the chance to try to be.

hopefully mercedes will, wherever she ends up next
