I keep this account very separate from my personal ones, but I’m breaking the seal for a moment to share something from my podcast about the validity of sexuality through trauma, hormones, body image, or different brain wiring. Asexuality, for those who don’t know, is a lack of sexual attraction. For a lot of people, their first thoughts are sexual assault, which is perfectly fine! These are all the aro, ace, and aroace blogs that I follow - expect for the fandom/headcanon specific ones.

And I love them.

Aro is mostly where I hang ‘cause from my experience the intersectionality of the Aro community means that Aros are Captains at being Queer and at being inclusive. And Ace blogs tend towards Aro Erasure in their attempts to prove common ground with Alloros. This might also just be my window in, granted, but I am very happy at my window here with these fellows.

@aroacevaljean - LeMis memes for days and lots of Queer Positivity.

@peaceheather - Ace fanfiction author, also a little bit older then most of the community and just has big parent vibes.

@aro-soulmate-project - Very Aro. As an Aro who wants a partner (maybe just cause of internalized amatonormativity? idk. I have a lot internalized that I have to work through tbh), this blog as really helped me understand the aplatonic and romance repulsed POV and the aroallo POV.

Blog problems

Hello guys! We’re experiencing huge problems.

Tumblr eats the queued posts, doesn’t allow us to modify drafts and published posts (that’s why we can’t tag asks) doesn’t save any edit, so the few posts we manage to queue often miss tags, and it’s making blogging impossible, both on mobile and desktop

Also we’re not able to figure out how/what has been published by that buggy queue

Please help us share this so we can know if someone is having the same problems.

Yikes. I wish I could, but I’ve only been on Tumblr for about two months or so, so I’m still quite unfamiliar with the lay of the land myself. xD

A lot of the blogs I follow here are aro- or ace-centric, but there are a couple of LGBTQ+ blogs that I do follow. I personally really enjoy these few:

- makingqueerhistory (they post about historical LGBTQ+ folks, which is super cool! a history lesson and reassurance that we’re more present than people realize all at once!)

- gaypeopletwitter (that’s always a good place to go for short little jokes and puns and stupid little things and the like, but on occasion the tweets they post here aren’t entirely inclusive of all LGBTQ+ as a whole and can be a little stereotyped.)

- lgbtlaughs (another fun place to go for some laughs and quirky content, and they do post some more socially-relevant things about progress that we’re making or LGBTQ+ media from time to time, too)

- lgbtqpluspositivity (I haven’t been following them for very long, but it seems like they have pretty good, pretty positive posts, so if you’re looking for uplifting and affirming stuff, that might be a good place to start!

- goodpositivitylgbt (another one that I haven’t been following for too long, but their posts all are so nice and positive and inclusive and beautiful! I love it!)

- lgbtqia-identities (more positivity! so much positivity and I love love love it! so much!! we need more positivity!)

Some good aro- and/or ace-centric blogs (but I won’t explain these, since it doesn’t appear that these were the focus of your question):
