Listening to Kyoshi's book and really impressed with it. It's fascinating how deep and nuanced the concept of the Daofei is within the Earth Kingdom. Jianzhu has a monologue about how there is no equivalent term in the other nations, where they would simply be called bandits or pirates. I think it retroactively adds deeper significance to Toph (the rebellious runaway noble)'s decision to brand herself as "The Blind Bandit."
*comes in and excitedly kicks down door* So please don’t mind that I literally woke up from the dead of sleep with this friggin idea, but HOLY HONK YALL!
Tell me that these two, tired, wise cracking, dramatic, blue fathers would not just be the best of friends?!?!*

The festivities back at camp had Charlie's spirits flying high for the first time in weeks since she and her traveling companions had received their harsh sentence. It felt good to see the weight lifted off of the shoulders of the tieflings and to know that she had played a key role in that almost had Charlie feeling giddy. This was close to what she had envisioned for herself as a young girl; a brave adventurer who committed heroic acts worthy of song.
Truth be told she wasn't sure if killing a couple goblins was worth a whole ballad, but hearing the drunken toasts and seeing the smiling faces almost made her think that it was.
"What's the scowl for?" Charlie asked, her drawl distinctly pronounced thanks to glass of wine she'd been nursing. Internally, Charlie had prepared for herself for a short-lived conversation. Brief snippets were about the extent of their interactions; the world was always moving too fast around them and it was hard to steady themselves long enough to have a decent back and forth.
Truth be told Charlie was convinced that he hated her, but that didn't stop her from trying to maintain polite conversations here and there. Coming to a stop in front of him, Charlie cocked her head to the side as her pure black eyes scanned his face, "somethin' wrong with the wine?"
