And you’re all doing great work!! And take your time!!

Hey, thanks for asking! I’d love to give you a slightly more in depth look at where we’re at right now!

We have received all of our merch and our team is currently packing up what we have so that when the books arrive, we can start shipping as soon as possible.

Our books are now fully edited and off to print! Editing took a bit longer than anticipated due to one of our mods stepping down, as well as the fact that the book is twice as long as we originally anticipated. Plus, we wanted to make sure that everything looked perfect!

At this time, we have completed our digital bundles as well, and will be sending those out to everyone in the next couple days! Don’t worry- we’ll update again once they’re sent so you know to check your email!

The Culinary Crucible team would like to thank everyone for their patience! Your support has meant so much to us, and we’ve been working really hard to put together a great project. We will continue to keep you updated as we move forward into this final stretch of production and shipping!!!

Hi! I wanted to ask if any of the Beneath the Tangles crew had watched the Spy x Family Code:White English Dub in theatre yet? The reason why I'm asking is Plugged In gave a review, but only for the subtitled version. I was wondering if someone who had seen the English Dub version could let me know if there were any God's Name in vain (like go**amn, Oh my g*d, etc.) or f-bombs in the English Dub I need to be aware of before taking my family. Thanks a bunch!

Melvinborg is somewhere else hidden in his comfort place. That's right instead of a box like his young self he made his place for him to hide.

He would always go to his comfort place to draw or play with his stuffed animals-

(He might be part of the ask thingy don't worry)

Even tho he prefers having his space and privacy he doesn't like being alone sometimes. He's scared to talk to people (even if he vents to someone, they will JUDGE him for his trauma)

The dude sees himself as a monster and he's scared that he will traumatize someone else. That's why he spends most of his time there.

And of course, he doesn't mind letting you visit as long you don't make him uncomfy and triggered. Explain: DO NOT mention anything related to his father figure, the past event, or the word extra credit. It could cause him to have a mental breakdown or meltdown and panic.

like you recommend anime that demonstrate components of gods teachings? I saw you have a podcast, what else do you do?

Quite a lot actually!

We're huge fans of anime, so we have a lot of functions that celebrate and discuss anime, from manga and light novel reviews to our anime and gaming news podcast, and from our YouTube channel to other various social media platforms.

We also discuss Christianity as we see principles expressed in anime that cause us to think more about faith. For instance, just from anime airing this past season, Oshi no Ko caused us to meditate on friendships (including those within church settings); Vinland Saga's theme of freedom reminded us of spiritual freedom from the slavery of sin; and Suletta at the beginning of the second cours of Gundam WFM acts like we might if we were still in OT-covenant mode. We also do similar in the bimonthly podcast you mentioned.

And then one of the most important things we do is build community. We hope to be a group that loves otaku, shining the love that Christ has shined upon us. We build relationships in many ways, but most intentionally through our Discord server where, among others, channels, we offer a couple of weekly small groups.
