#batwoman season 1 episode 2

Note
Yeah, Supergirl was originally set on a different Earth (Earth-38), and that fact was clearly established; we were never expected to believe that it was the same Earth as Arrow and Flash (with mentions of superheroes that were not around on Earth-1, and the fact that it was on a different network in the first season). There was even an episode that had The Flash cross over, introducing the Multiverse to the cast and to viewers who didn't watch that show. But then Crisis put everyone on the same Earth (Earth Prime) and established that the history was not the same as before and there were still things left unexplored. Superman's second-to-last scene revealed that instead of having one kid as they did Pre-Crisis, he and Lois have two.
Then Superman & Lois was announced and premiered, with the same actors in the lead roles (Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch), and the fandom was split on thinking it was set on Earth Prime with a vastly different history (Superman's sons are teenagers now rather than (one) infant) and wondering why there was no mention of even Supergirl versus thinking it was a different Earth. Season 1 provided some evidence in favor of "same Earth" with the mention that they are aware of the Multiverse and with John Diggle (from Arrow) appearing and mentioning Oliver Queen (who, like his Earth-1/Prime counterpart, is implied to be dead), as well as the announcement of the planned and later scrapped crossover with Batwoman (still set on Earth Prime). Two of the major supporting characters are even survivors of Crisis. But then in the Season 2 finale, Sam Lane talks about seeing heroes from other Earths and mentions that this Earth only has Superman, finally answering the burning question and revealing that this version of Superman is not the same that we've been following since Supergirl Season 2.
Oh that's a hot mess

Arrowverse Hall of Shame: My 30 (ish) Least Favorite Episodes
Picked from „Arrow“, „Black Lightning“, „Supergirl“, „Legends of Tomorrow“, „The Flash“, „Barwoman“ Season 1+2 and „Superman & Lois“ Season 1+2. Also known as the „Why? Why?? Why?-List“ of Episodes. And yes, obviously I hate Season 2 of „Batwoman“, because they did pretty much everything wrong you can do wrong when faced with this kind of situation (Why not just make Sophie into the new Batwoman, or introduce Luke’s sister or cousin, or just - you know -keep Kate as main character if you do end up recasting her after all. Sigh).

It’s been over a week so I think I can post this.
The finale of the Flash was so much badder than I should have been. I get that certain actors and certain events about and within the crew was going on, but here’s my take on how the flash season 9 should have been.
Ep 1-5 (part 1); Rogue war: Mostly the same, but with more iconic characters who played the villains and the rogues who actually appeared. I get they had limited time, but after crisis, Cisco said that most of the villains in the entire Arrowverse came back, so have more iconic villain characters return, and some who we know are still alive (for example Heatwave, tho I read somewhere that he didn’t want to return as the character) or some characters who escaped the prison that the speed force attacked in season 7. Another thing that I’ll put here since I don’t know where else to put it, I actually liked the story with Khione, so I’d keep that in.
Ep 1-5 (part 2); Red Death: There are a multitude of different ways this character and arc could have gone. Option 1: More expensive and lots of legal work, but get the actual Bruce Wayne and try to follow a similar path on the comics (alternate universe where Bruce merged with Barry to become better) or something completely new (Have an older Bruce try to build a suit to harness the speed force like Godspeed and go insane doing so [I heard somewhere that Arrowverse Batman killed joker so that could lean into this idea more]. Option 2: Still expensive: Get the original Batwoman actor Ruby Rose and have her follow the comic origin or the new origin they made up. Option 3: Have the Red death we got be from the Reverse-Flashpoint timeline, since it made more sense, since when talking to Iris, Ryan Wilder said something about a red speedster, so move on with that information. There are a lot of different ways this could have gone, but Eric Wallace is why we got what we got, and we got a crybaby bitch version of the dreaded red death, who didn’t kill anyone, despite the show saying so in the future the original Nora was from. I did like how the real Ryan Wilder appeared to help Barry take down red death. The ending where Joe moves away was sad, though I guess it made sense for both the actor and the character, though I did like seeing Cecile and Joes daughter, since it would have made more Spence if she appeared dung the Armageddon crossover when Joe died, though it wasn’t the worst case scenario . The reveal that Iris is pregnant with Nora was a slight surprise I didn’t see coming.
Ep 6-8: Mainly filler episodes, which could have been much better than the ones we got. First off, and this will be a tangent later, why and what was the purpose to making Cecile a superhero; Virtue, who is an entirely different character than Cecile. Seriously, it felt more like the Cecile and friends show than The Flash. Episode 6 was basically filler, but they could’ve shown us more of Central City outside Barry’s perspective, to help us understand why the city is the way it is. Episode 7 was basically some lore, but mainly lore for Supergirl’s show, they could have told us more about what has been happening in National City since the shows ending and how the characters have been since then as well. It was too bad that Melissa couldn’t come back to the Flash as Supergirl as predicted. Episode 8 was mostly filler as well, since all it did was be an episode in one setting; Star labs. The Chester and Allegra relationship parts were mid at best. Episode 9, was amazing. It honestly should have been a two-parter, replacing episode 8 and having 9 has the second part. The story was amazing, Barry’s birth, the guilt he feels as the Flash, John Diggle’s return and his small story, Wally’s story and the knowledge of the new multiverse Oliver as the Spectre created, Oliver’s return and his story, Ramsey returning and his new plan and his eventual defeat, and Oliver saying that the future we saw that he and Felicity reunited hasn’t happened yet was amazing. His final words to Barry and how Barry finally got closure to his best friends death was so sweet. Thank you Steven Amell.
Ep 8-13 (part 1): Episode 10 though, that was something we have been expecting for 9 years. With the start of the Cobalt Blue storyline and the ending of the series, we were expecting big things. Episode 10 was one of those. The whole, Iris getting a Pulitzer Prize was nice since Nora mentioned that she gets 2 in the future, so that was nice, and so was Khione writing letters to Mark, Caitlin and Frost. Then we get into the good stuff, Barry getting sent back to the past, March 18, 2000, the day his mother is murdered by the Reverse Flash, and his father is sent to jail. Seeing Matt Lentscher return as the real Eobard Thawne was nice, though I wish that after Flashpoint, Matt appeared more and in Tom Cavanagh, no offense to either. The whole, blue crystal thing was a bit confusing for me but it seemed to make some sense. We also got to see the last time Barry got to interact with his parents, which was heartwarmingly sad. But then, we get to that fight on that night. With Barry trying to save Thawne, and eventually leading to the fight we’ve been waiting for for over 9 years. Seeing Barry tell his young self, ‘no Barry, no running this time’ was so good! Barry last words with Eobard were amazing due to it being the only time Barry knew what Eobard was doing before he knew himself, before Barry being teleported somewhen else making Eobard think he won due to Barry seemingly dying in front of him. Then we get a reveal of Malcolm Gilmore , a nearly identical copy of Eddie Thawne in 2049, before being struck by lightning and seeing a folder of Eddie. The only problems that I have with this episode is that we never see what happens to the original Barry Allen, the Flash who got struck by lightning in 2020 and who disappeared in Crisis four years later in 2024. We never got to know him or see his life and original timeline, minus a few words and hints we got from Thawne over the course of the series. Another thing is that we never got to see how Barry ‘ruined’ Thawne’s life in the future. We got a few hints during seasons 2,3,8 and here in season 9, as well as some during his time on Legends of Tomorrow, but we never saw how Barry did it, whether it be the original Barry Allen, or our Barry Allen.
Ep 8-13 (part 2) episode 11: This episode wasn’t that good compared to the two episodes that came before, but it also was not as nearly as bad as it could’ve been. First, the story of ‘ Malcolm Gilmore’ trying to find out who Eddie Thawne was was so good. The return of Korber was slightly surprising, due to her new position in the future as the captain of CCPD (rip). The speed force Nora and team flash trying to find Barry and fight Mark(Chillblaine) under the influence of the crystal was nice. Seeing how powerful Khione was in instantly killing and reviving Mark was so surprising! Iris then goes into labor. And the reveal of Malcolm being Eddie who was brought back by the negative forces and sent to the future by the singularity was a surprising callback that I’m sure all of us forgot. And the bullet still being in Eddie’s heart before pulling it out was so surprising.
Ep 8-13 (part 3) Episode 12: After accidentally killing Captain Korber (rip), Eddie goes to star labs where the 2049 team flash have just defeated the teased and long awaited villain, the Chronarch. After Eddie sees all the times Eobard came back despite his sacrifice, Nora comes to help him, only to be possessed by the blue crystal. After Barry is taken the future and fights the possessed Nora, he talks to Eddie who blames everything on Barry, his death, him being forgotten, and Barry and Iris’s family. After going to visit future Iris, who rejects him , Eddie then makes us his mind, becomes Cobalt Blue, and revived some of the Flash’s greatest enemies. My only problem I have with this episode and the finale is that more characters should have appeared, a big example, Bart West-Allen. I don’t know why Jordan William Fisher couldn’t appear, I’ll search for why later but I do wish he appeared.
For episodes 13, I’ll make another post due to this one being WAY to long.

Stumbling across someone name Starro back when I was watching The Suicide Squad that was released on 2021 not too long ago. Today, I just checked out Battle of the Super Sons by Batman Superman of the DC original animated films on Blu-Ray.
Tumblr media
Officially recalled when I first saw the Starro’s from Batman Beyond featuring the future of Superman and his JL crew. Now that takes me back.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There’s this DC Vault Bonus Cartoons featuring the two ep’s of Batman The Animated Series of “Demon Quest Pt. 1 & 2″ of the Blu-Ray extra features of The Battle of the Super Sons. Which is relevant to Damian/Robin, who happened to be Batman father, along with his mother, Talia (Daughter of Ra's al Ghul). While watching, I begin getting in the Kevin Conroy moment. Pretty sure, you’ve heard the recent news of him, especially from the Batman Fandom like myself. I did stumble across while I was watching DC media’s like the original Animated and Live-Action. Seeing Kevin in Batwoman was like- wow. The actual Bruce Wayne from the different dimension during the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. Me, myself, and I, last time I’ve heard of his voice work was from Justice League vs. the Fatal Five. And it’s related Justice League The Animated Series or the DCU TAS. I haven’t got a chance to finish the Batman one and The Zeta Project, those are yet to be wiped off the back log. I did wiped off The New Batman/Superman Adventure (Did watched some of it back in Kids WB days before JL happens) long ago back in grade school. I was a major JL TAS fan back when it aired on Cartoon Network, which lead and got me intrigue into wanting to play Batman: Vengeance on PC,
Tumblr media
and then I rent and watched Mystery of the Batwoman on VHS,
Tumblr media
and don’t forget Rise of Sin Tzu (It felt this might be one of the few that all of the TNBA protagonist is all present and accounted for, with few ep’s of the BTAS season 4 or Volume 4 of the DVD set).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I remember spamming this DVD set along with Superman TAS back in high school. It’s my favorite Batman era ever. I’m aware it’s relevant to the original TAS with that bat yellow symbol which It’s my goal to finish it once and for all. My favorite out of the four protagonist is- actually all of them. Little Robin and Nightwing are the ones. During the time I was watching JL on CN. I’m also a fan of Teen Titans Animated Series. At the time, I thought this Robin was green sleeves was relevant to Tim Drake Robin. It’s a completely different universe. If you remember watching this Static Shock episode which feature Batman in few of his ep’s. When Virgil asked the bat where Robin was at, he replied that he’s with the Titans. It was a big major hint for me that JL TAS is definitely related to TT TAS. The answer was no. Absolute intriguing ever in the DCU Animated. There’s my random cool non-sense ramble or what you call it.
For Conray Kevin. All.

I have my problems when it comes to Arrow's faithfulness to the comics, but I will say that I will always love season 7 for giving me:
1) a very well written Black Canary origin story that finally established a metahuman Dinah Lance as a Black Canary (not to mention the first Black Canary of E2)
2) Oliver Queen's son struggling with his sexuality in a way that doesn't seem outright on the surface level, but hits very differently when you've gone through it.
3) Showing that Dinah Drake is just as much of a capable Black Canary without a Canary Cry as she was with a Cry.
4) Olicity being a good couple.
5) An episode centered around the strong women on the show and their relationships with each other outside of their relationships with men, while also establishing the ethos of the Black Canary legacy from the comics.
6) A clever and unique way of showing the legacy of the main characters without spoiling major moments.
7) A Green Arrow documentary episode showcasing the legacy of both the character and the show as well as guest starring the other Arrowverse characters (Barry and Sara) who originated on Arrow.
8) A fantastic send off to a character who was not always treated the best by the show or fandom.
9) Compelling and well written storylines for every major character in both the present and flashforwards.
10) A fantastic crossover and introduction to a new Arrowverse character (Batwoman).
Bonus: Oliver fighting baddies while in the nude.
Like, did it have its flaws? Hell yeah. Anyone who's read a Green Arrow comic knows exactly what these flaws are.
But still, looking back on this season, I adore it for so many goddamn reasons.

Crisis on Infinite Earths is literally SO bad. Like, it was bad when it came out and I only knew Supergirl and Batwoman. Rewatching the whole thing now that I’ve watched Legends, Black Lightning, Lucifer, and all the episodes of The Flash that precede it (plus the bits of Arrow info you pick up while watching those other shows/researching Sara backstory)? It is so much worse.
A few specific complaints:
Sara and Ray get kidnapped from trivia night. Where they are competing and actually doing a decent job. Just the two of them. I find it very hard to believe that Sara Lance would willingly participate in trivia with Ray Palmer and nobody else. On which of the infinite earths is that possible?
Also how dare Ray go to trivia night without Nate?
Why do they do Sara’s hair like that?
John Constantine is very funny a lot of the time. Lucifer Morningstar is very funny a lot of the time. Putting them in the same scene DOES NOT WORK. You can’t have two over-the-top campy assholes assholing in the same place. It is physically painful.
How does NOBODY make a Dementor joke about the shadow demon things? Alex Danvers has literally never missed an opportunity for a Harry Potter joke, first of all, and there’s no way that between Barry and Ray neither of them would make that connection.
The big fight scene at the end looked like something straight out of Power Rangers.
The entire plot of The Flash since episode 1 had been building towards this nonsense. That is very sad.
I did manage to find the Batwoman episode online for free but seriously? Could they make the crossovers less accessible for streaming? You have to look up what order the episodes go in. You have to access 5 different shows across 2 separate platforms. You have to figure out what season each show is in. Why can’t Netflix add a button to take you from one show to the other?
Also then the Netflix algorithm thinks that I am a person who might enjoy watching Arrow.
On the plus side, I get more of the jokes now.
There’s also a moment during the final fight scene where Kate, Alex, Sara, and Nia are all lined up. The whole LGBT: Lesbians, Guns, Bisexual, & Trans!

Tv shows ending in 2021 or 2022 tv season I watched and loved or watched at one point
Roswell New Mexico: I’m so mad about this, I absolutely love this show, the cast, everything. So mad
Magnum PI: it’s got pretty scenery, it’s not the best dialogue sometimes, but I love the cast and I’m mad about it.
The big leap: this show was so fun, I loved everything about it. The cast was fun, it was dumb sometimes but I liked that about it.
This is us: it’s just ending, going out on their terms, but I’m sad. I’m really behind this season, because I’m not ready for it to end.
Bull: I stopped watching a season ago, but I feel bad for the crew and cast
4400: I haven’t seen the whole season, but I liked what I saw
Batwoman: I watched the first season, but I lost interest in the dc shows about 2 years ago. It was good
Shows I don’t understand why they continue to show them
The Flash: I love the cast, but I’d lost interest in the show awhile ago.
NCIS LA: I love the cast, but the dialogue is so bad. It’s been on forever
Ncis: I quit this show a long time ago, I hate it. It makes me angry and it’s still on the air. Ugh.
Greys anatomy: why is this still on the air. I haven’t watched in forever.
Walker: i hate the dialogue and the acting is wooden and Jared’s beard is terrible. I tried to watch season 1 but it’s awful and they gave it a spin off. I watched 1 season 2 episode, because Jensen directed it.

TV Series Discussion: The Flash
Season 7 (2021)
Tumblr media
Source: Google Images
After being struck by lightning, Barry Allen wakes up from his coma to discover he's been given the power of super speed, becoming the Flash, and fighting crime in Central City.
Source: IMDb (2014)
Simply Average
The Flash used to be a superhero TV show I loved watching for a good fun time because it's one of the brightest (mood-wise) superhero shows out there. However, season 7 just felt off. I am not saying I hated it, I just didn't love it as much as I should have.
So many of the villain-of-the-episode was...like why were they featured in an episode when it felt so half-assed? I might like the villain-of-the-episode concept but I rather have an entire season focused on dealing with a big bad than those one time villains being shown without much effort. And honestly, who was the big bad in this season? The speed force or August Heart? I'm just saying, if the writers cannot do a big bad for the season, why not just write up better plots for all the villain-of-the-episode? It's obvious the writers made the show so complicated by trying to one-up each epic final battle that they don't know how to one-up anymore.
Also, I know the show is called The Flash but do we really need to focus on the speed force all the time? Don't even get me started on Iris being part of the speed force now. I never liked Iris and I hate how she always thinks they can talk a villain out of committing villainous acts, but I much preferred her as a journalist than whatever role she is now... Seriously though, does that woman think because she talked Mirror Eva out of conquering their world, she can talk other villains out? I would love to see her try that bullshit in Arrow's world or Gotham's villains. I apologise for the Iris slander, I just cannot stand her.
What I would've liked was more focus on the others. Like what Frost went through with the charges? This woman does not get enough credit for saving Barry as much as people like his wife or Allegra did. I also really hated that Cecile's storyline of her time in a mental institution and then that whole Psycho Pirate subplot was brushed over in a blink of an eye. Unlike many superheroes in the Arrowverse world, Barry does not succeed alone most of the time. Yet, the rest of Team Flash is always so heavily slept on. I mean, don't talk about the OGs or the metas, Chester is constantly under appreciated. What I'm trying to say is, stop focusing on Iris and give me the rest. Please!
Rating: ★★★☆☆

Rewriting Young Justice Season 3, Part 1
I love Young Justice. It's probably one of my favorite animated series of all time. But even I'll admit that it has problems. So, as an exercise in creativity, I'm going to rewrite the series from where I think it went wrong - Season 3. We'll be doing chunks of a few episodes a piece, with a total less than the 26 we have for the sake of focus.
Specifically, I'm going to tighten up the story and refocus it in three ways:
Take out the Judas Contract elements. It's a storyline that's only ever worked (in the animated medium) in Teen Titans.
Shift the focus to the Batman Inc. stuff that's happening in the background, and introduce a character that's been hinted at for two seasons, and
Focus on the new Kid Flash's struggles with living up to the OG Kif Flash.
Let's get it started with the first three episodes.
Episode 1 - Back in the Game
We open in some major city in Europe approximately a year after the end of season 2. Haley's Circus is in town, and Dick Grayson is performing as Daring Dan Danger. He's been retired from heroing following the death of Wally West, and has dropped off the face of the Earth, as far as the rest of the superhero community is concerned. It's clear that he's found some solace on this sabbatical.
Following his performance, he returns to his trailer only to find Bruce Wayne waiting for him. Bruce reveals that he's known Dick has been with Haley's Circus all along - after all, it's where he grew up, but Batman has been running interference for him, keeping his location hidden out of respect for Dick's privacy, but that's over now. Batman needs his help, needs both Dick Grayson and Nightwing. He's about to do something big, and he needs his most trusted lieutenant at his side. Dick agrees.
Cut to Central City. Bart Allen, the new Kid Flash, is sitting with Artemis and Will Harper. Bart is having an identity crisis and doesn't know if he's living up to the mantle bestowed upon him - after all, Wally was a founding member of The Team, a legend in the superhero community. They assure him he is. He leaves, grateful for the support.
Next, we cut to the island of the League of Shadows. Ra's al Ghul stands watching a Helmeted Figure spar with three members of the League of Shadows who remained after he retired. The Helmeted Figure holds his own against the trio, two of whom are armed with familiar weapons (eskrima sticks and a bo staff) and the third fights bare-handed.
Cut to the Batcave. Batman Inc. (in this iteration, Batman, Nightwing, Oracle, Robin, Batwoman and Orphan) all stand in a circle. Batman exposits his plan for fighting the Light at their own game - they're gonna run counterops against the Light's more clandestine operations, and they'll sever ties with the Team and the Justice League in order to keep the reputations of those groups clean.
Episode 2 - Splintered
We open on the Watchtower. Batman Inc. are all their, excluding Nightwing. At a meeting called by Batman, they all resign their memberships to their respective groups. We focus on two particular interactions - Batman and the senior League members and Cassie Sandsmark (Wondergirl) and Tim Drake (Robin). The later is an interaction alluded to but never shown on-camera, and in this version, it's the start of a plot thread we'll get to later.
This news rocks everyone on both superhero groups. Robin had been the nominal field commander of the Team following Nightwing's departure, and Batman was a founding member of the Justice League.
Cut to the farm that Connor (Superboy) and M'gann (Miss Martian) own. The two of them sit with Jaime Reyes (Blue Beetle), Bart Allen, and Cassie Sandsmark, Tim Drake's contemporaries on The Team. They're still in shock - this is unlike Tim. Tim's fellow Team members vow to find out what's going on, why Tim did this, and set off to start their investigation. After they leave, Connor laments that Dick Grayson isn't there - he could've talked some sense into Tim Drake.
Cut to some fictional European country. Tim Drake and Dick Grayson are in a warehouse busting a metahuman trafficking ring. Tim is obviously off his game, almost getting got multiple times, only to be saved by Nightwing. Once the bad guys are finished, Tim confides in Dick that he regrets breaking up with Cassie (whom he's been in a steady relationship with for a year) and that he misses her and his friends. Dick tries to console him, and they free the metahumans (one of whom is Halo, but the metahumans aren't the focus of the season). Tim heads back to the Batcave, and Dick says he has to drop these kids off somewhere safe, opening a boomtube. He guides the metahumans through it, and the episode ends.
Episode 3 - Old Friends
We open some distance from the farm from last episode. The boomtube opens and Dick steps out. His plan is to just leave the kids there for his friends to deal with, but as he starts to leave, he's confronted by Miss Martian and Superboy, who are shocked to see him. He jokingly asks if he wasn't stealthy enough, and Miss Martian reveals that it was his mental signature that alerted her - she could pick his mind out of a crowd any day, so feeling it in such a small group was so easy she didn't have to try.
They take him back to their house and ask him if he's heard what's going on, that Batman and co. have severed ties with the rest of the superhero community. Dick confirms he has, and says that he's part of Batman's team. Stunned by this revelation, Superboy and Miss Martian don't even try to stop him.
Cut to the following night. Nightwing is in Bludhaven on a rooftop, surveying the city. As he sits on the rooftop, the Ship decloaks, and out step the remaining members of the Team from Season One, along with Red Arrow. They confront him about joining Batman's team and how he didn't even say "hello" to them before severing ties with them. The scene is reminiscent of the confrontation and intervention had for Will Harper in season two. They try to get him to tell them what Batman is planning but he refuses to, saying that he's only coming out of retirement for because he owes Batman too much not to answer the call.
Cut to Gotham, where a similar scene unfolds with Tim Drake and Cassie, Bart, and Jaime. The emotions are much more raw and on display, showing that they lack the emotional maturity of their older counterparts. The confrontation almost comes to blows, the only person not gearing up for combat being Jaime Reyes. We get a brief mental dialogue between Jaime and the Scarab, and we find out that the Scarab has read Jaime's endorphins and body chemistry and has made the decision not to fight Time Drake as Jaime isn't acting rationally, and using the Scarab's weaponry could result in their (Jaime and the Scarab's) friends getting hurt. Jaime instead tries to talk everyone else down, and Tim escapes the confrontation, clearly emotionally conflicted. Cassie and Bart ask why Jaime didn't try to help them fight, and he relays the Scarab's reasoning.
The episode ends back on Ra's Island, with the Masked Figure once again fight the three aforementioned enemies, defeating them with somewhat more ease.
Next time, we'll do another three episodes as Dick and Tim's friends attempt to uncover the Batfamily's plans and Ra's al Ghul unleashes his most deadly soldier.

3.      „Superman &Lois“ takes place on Earth Prime
Tumblr media
I never would have thought I would ever have to write about this as a storyline we did not get, because since „Crisis on Infinite Earths“ everyone always assumed that the show was taking place on Earth Prime. After all the Teaser-Scene, in which Lois is talking about two sons all of a sudden does take place on Earth Prime, there was a picture of Kara seen in early Season 1, Lex Luthor was mentoned in a way that made sense with „Supergirl“, Lois and Clark constantly talked about the Multiverse, John Henry and Nat lived through „Crisis on Infinite Earths“ in Flashbacks, John Diggle showed up in a Crossover-Type-Event during his Green Lantern-Ring-Storyline, talked about the ring and mentoned „Oliver and the others“ and everything they went through since becoming heroes, and everyone was promoting this epsiode as a part of that Crossover-Event. They did bring the Lucy Lane from „Supergirl“ back, and even ajusted her timeline, so that her falling apart and falling in with Ally matched with the last time we saw her on „Supergirl“. They even contracted David Ramsey again to bring Diggle back, only to finally reveal in that episode that ,no, the show was not taking place on Earth Prime.
I am sorry? „But we never said we were taking place on Earth Prime“, they said. And we said, every other Earth has always had a number, you don’t even have a number, your Tie-In-Comics are part of a serie called „Earth Prime“ and the show, that does not take place on Earth Prime and has Tie-In-Comics in this series has Earth-2 printed all over it there!
It’s like they woke up on morning and realized it would be odd that none of the other heros would show up for the merging or Bizarro-World with Earth, and decided the best explanation for this was making themselves into Cons and Liars.
Either they lied about always knowing it was another Earth, or they lied for three years to con audience into watching the show about the identity of the main characters. In any case: I am never going to believe a single word any producer of that show says about anything anymore.
Of course the first two seasons are taking place on Earth Prime, very much so! And in a better world they would not have changed that. But after „Batwoman“ and „Legends of Tomorrow“ got cancelled, they realized the Arrowverse was done and jumped ship to save their own skin. Because that is was bad people do, and they are just that: Bad people, who put their show before all those people who they betrayed.
In my Head-Canon the Merging did split Earth Prime in two. One containing „The Flash“ and the rest of the Arrowverse and one containing „Superman & Lois“ after the failure of the Merge. And that’s it.

So, yeah, I did start watching “Roswell, New Mexico” even though it was just announced that it is canceled and it probaly won’t get an ending. But you see, it’s the first chance I actually have over here to see this show, because of course German Television would start airing the first season of a show shortly before the start of it’s fourth and final season only a week or so after that show was canceled.
But this is the one reboot I always was interested it, because it seems different enough to actually work, and it is not really a reboot of course but a second attempt on an adaptation, so it’s fine.
However, as it’s me we are talking about, seeing the first two episodes made me 1. really like that show, which is a bad thing considering and 2. crave a rewatch of “Roswell”, which is also a bad thing, because how and where and no time of course.
So yeah I have no self-respect.
However considering the last new content on the network, namely Season 2 of “Batwoman”, got canned after two weeks, I probably won’t get to see more than the first four episodes anyway (it was six in the case of Season 2 of “Batwoman”, so that would be even less, because this time they are “only” airing two eps a night instead of three). But yeah, at least I will never live to see the not-ending. That’s a plus, I guess... (And no that show is not on Netflix over here, neither is “Legacies” or “Legends of Tomorrow” for that matter. They are not on HBOmax either, because HBOmax does not exist here.)
