Scenes/Things in Supernatural that genuinely don't make sense to me if Dean was straight:

The confession booth scene.

Sam just rolling with the fact that Dean's siren is a guy while still thinking sirens infect people through sex.

Dean being flustered by several men: Gunner Lawless, Aaron, Doctor Sexy, etc.

All the parallels between Destiel and other couples. (A big one being "last night on Earth" bc how do you do that accidentally.)

Having all the gay jokes be on Dean instead of Sam.

Paralleling Sam meeting his childhood celebrity crush with Dean meeting Gunner Lawless.

The boner Dean got when Cas cleaned up.

Dean gulping after Cas does an impression from a Western movie.

Charlie, a lesbian, calling Castiel "dreamy."

The way Mary looks at Dean and Cas when they hug.

Dean wondering why everyone assumes he's gay, while Sam not caring.

The logic that Charlie can't flirt with guys because she's only attracted to women, but then having Dean flirt with the guy for her.

Dean seeming disappointed when learning that Aaron's flirting was fake.

The amount of time Dean and Cas spend staring at each other.

Dean canonically having an orgy with Crowley.

A woman saying that she knows when someone's pining for someone else to Dean, just for us to learn that Dean was never in love with Amara.

The set design and script choices that lead to a cross in the background while Dean said "I do." to Cas after he came back to life.

Edit: To the people who say I can't use the siren as an example because the siren is supposed to be his brother, and therefore his siren being a man doesn't work. If you reread that bullet point, then you will realize that I didn't put it down as just simply Dean's siren being a man. I recognize that the siren is supposed to be his brother. It's the fact that Sam still thinks the siren infects people through sex, not knowing that it's actually through saliva when he realizes who the siren is. So when he sees that Dean's siren is a guy, he had to assume they had sex, and he does not seem surprised by this at all.

He remembers firecrakers going off under girls’ feet and screams, and running, and sitting next to a man, whose pink shirt started turning red.

He loves every person he meets and he lives believing that there is only one of them waiting for him in the end, that it is a universal experience. “True love” kind of thing. One day, he talks with Sam about it, about being in love. His brother looks at him with a frown.

“You can fall in love multiple times,” he says.

Dean chuckles, “No, you can’t.”

Sam tries again, “Okay, how come I was in love in Jessica and Eileen?”

Dean shiftes in his seat, “You, uh... You only loved one of them.”

Later that day his brother shoves a laptop at him, word “aromantic” big and bold on the top of the screen. A few years later he finds himself sitting on the dungeon floor, realising, that his “true love” was gone.

He looks back at his life, at the girls, at the one-night stands, at himself, so fully convinced of his feelings. Then, he looks deeper, comparing how his eyes lingered on men as often as on women. He always explained it as an admiration of the male form. He never once wanted to actually spend his life with any of the men. But then again, he never really wanted that from women, either.

He cries softly over the missed opportunities, over Benny and Ash, and Crowley, and...

If one would ask him, how many genders there are, he would confidently say “at least three” and leave it at that. He doesn't want to think about it much. He’s Dean.

Liking destiel is basically having to go through feeling overjoyed by how much incredibly gay shit they managed to retain into the show and put on air but also mourn how much incredibly gay shit they deleted and/or cut off along the way.

- parallels Dean and Cas with Romeo and Juliet

- deletes the part where Dean holds Cas’s face

- whatever the hell Endverse destiel had going on

- not include the part where Endverse!Cas says the only thing they have left is each other

- had Dean break Cas away from a brainwashing spell by having him kneel and beg and say “I need you”

- but also replace the original script where he says he loves Cas, and that he forgives him for what he’s about to do (kill him)

- make Dean keep Cas’s dirty, moldy, bloody overcoat because he just missed him that much

- but cut off the part where Dean says “part of me always believed you’d come back”

- paralleled Dean and Cas to Cain and his wife Colette

- then deleted the scene where Dean dreams about how guilty he feels for beating up Cas, while in a bar with bi lighting and Cas gets referred to as his “admirer”

- and also the part where Cas and Crowley has a banter about which one of them is Dean’s boyfriend (yes this is real)

- had Dean go through a widower arc where he becomes hopeless and suicidal because Cas is dead back in s13

- made it seem like it didn’t affect him much when it happens in s15

Why I believe Dean Winchester is Bisexual

He has a crush on a male doctor called doctor sexy

Hes “gay thing” with that guy

He’s obsessed with cowboys. Not cowgirls. Cowboys

Heaven literally lit up with the bi flag colours when Dean was saving Cas from Naomi

Rowena called him a “poor sheltered boy” hinting towards the fact that he’s in the closet

He didn’t seem grossed out or against it when he was tricked into that bdsm thing with that tall muscular man(I still laugh thinking about this)

When him and Cas make eye contact it’s literally written as “eye fucking” in the script

He helped Charlie flirt with a guy

Castiel was able to steal the colt from under Dean’s pillow how tf is someone reaching under your pillow without you noticing unless something 😏 is going on?

When that guy sniffed Dean he was surprised at first but then looks directly at the dudes lips 😐

When Cas returns and gets dressed back in his suit and trench coat Dean looks flustered and places his hand towards his crotch 🤨

I was informed by @dyadiccalamity that a siren they hunted appeared to Dean as a male.
