Oh, Pookie... <3. Anything for you.

Short answer: Yes, updates on books was the plan.

Long answer... um... I don't know what kind of updates, because if I post any content it would sorta ruin that whole getting published thing. I might need help with making silly decisions, so I could do polls, and Alpha readers are very much a thing. But for now here is the only update I have:

I just started a new project.

That's it. I have a vague idea and only one character with a name. I don't even have a title. But I have the weekend off, no kids, and nothing else to do but write and I'm pumped.

Unless someone REALLY hates hearing about book stuff.. I'll post an update Sunday. See what I can do with 60 hours. But if anyone does get pissy.. block party. <3

Some random Good Omens headcanons of mine:

Adam remembers everything that happened during the apocollapse as well as all of the knowledge that came to him along with his powers. Most of the latter just stays on an unconscious level until he has a reason to think of it directly. He remembers Sister Mary Loquacious and now understands the strange urge to wiggle his toes at her when they cross paths around town.

Dog is, in many respects, much like any earthly dog but will always be something otherworldly as well. He is unswervingly loyal to Adam but it’s a toss up how well he listens to anyone else. No kennel can contain him if he does not wish to be there. He will live as long as Adam does and accompany him where ever Death chooses to take him thereafter. People should question Dog’s longevity but very few will.

Aziraphale doesn’t have time for modern music in the main but when he gives it a chance, he does like some of it. I don’t have a firm idea of what all his favorites would be, but I’m certain he quite likes the Moody Blues.

In terms of raw power, Crowley is a fairly average demon, but his imagination and willpower when something he cares about is at issue make him more dangerous than any other demon in Hell. He can use what he has more effectively and keep going past what should have been the point of exhaustion through sheer stubbornness.

The above largely applies to Aziraphale as well. He is slow to anger but when he blows it’s spectacular. When he transcends mere bitchiness into true anger it’s a righteous anger born of a need to protect what he cares about. Anger fueled by love is the sort of power that moves mountains and doesn’t hesitate to drop them directly on top of people like Gabriel.

Crowley does not go out of his way to befriend small children, cats or little old ladies, but they tend to adore him anyway. Snakes either love him or loathe him. There is no middle ground or predicting which reaction he will get from any given snake.

Mr. Scroggie will always chase but never again catch the high he got from his first seance.

After Gabriel and Sandalphon’s visit, there is a persistent rumor that AZ Fell’s has a back room with vintage porn. The more Aziraphale denies it, the more everyone believes it must be true. No one knows why the two weirdos in suits are allowed to buy, or indeed what they might have bought, since they didn’t leave with anything obviously in hand but there is much speculation. Smarmy Porn Guys become local cryptids in Soho. One popular theory is that they are aliens attempting to study humanity and have no idea what porn actually is.

Erics get no respect but they are the backbone of Hell. Someone help the upper echelons of Hell if they ever unionize.
