Zhang Zhehan, 813, and Zhang Sanjian FAQ
I’ve been thinking for a while that I should make this as a starting place for people just learning about the situation. Please let me know if you have any corrections or anything you would like me to add.
1. What happened to Zhang Zhehan? / What is 813?
On August 13. 2021, a photo was spread by online water armies of Zhang Zhehan in front of cherry blossoms from a trip he had taken to Japan in 2018. This was accompanied by claims that he had been there to visit the Yasukuni Shrine—a politically controversial shrine which honors WWII war criminals—and that he held right-wing anti-Chinese sentiments. This photo was later joined by others, all either photoshopped or with falsified context, “backing up” these accusations along with further claims slandering him and his family.
In the days following, Zhang Zhehan lost all of his endorsements, had all of his past works taken down, had all of his social media shut down, and was boycotted by the private association CAPA without the chance to defend himself. His name and image were also later banned from social media, he was used as a negative example in schools and on exams, and his name is blocked from registration on some social media sites and certain devices. He and his family have been subject to intense harassment including death threats.
All of the accusations against him have been shown to be false and he is currently pursuing legal action, but he is still unable to speak or appear publicly in any capacity.

2. Who was behind 813?
The boycott was issued by the China Association of Performing Arts (CAPA), a private industry association that at the time held sway (but no official authority) over many social media and streaming companies. CAPA is heavily suspected of being the ones who orchestrated the entire incident and related events, see point 4 below.
2.5. Was Gong Jun behind 813?
No, he had no motive whatsoever, was still a small name in the industry at the time, has no industry sway, had his most popular show taken down because of 813, and was targeted by similar attacks in the months after. If he had not stayed quiet about 813, Gong Jun very easily could have been taken down by it as well. Please see point 7 below if you have this belief because of Zhang Sanjian / zhangzhehan_super3, and if you have this belief because of the Twitter account Justice for Zhang Zhehan please know that she is an idiot.
3. Was 813 caused by censorship / homophobia / the Chinese government?
No. There is no evidence for 813 having anything to do with censorship, it was perpetuated by private venture capitalism. The Chinese government had no known involvement—CAPA has no government affiliation, and both the NRTA and MCT confirmed after inquiry that they had nothing to do with Zhang Zhehan’s cancellation. Quite the opposite, it was said by Li Xuezheng that government officials were in attendance during the interview between him and Zhang Zhehan released 2022-01-01.
4. Why Zhang Zhehan? / What was the motive behind 813?
The exact reason is not known for sure, but it is heavily suspected that he turned down an exclusive endorsement deal with one of CAPA’s subsidiaries around March / April 2021. CAPA took this as a slight and, because he was heavily in the public eye at the time, they decided to make him an example of what they could do to people who refused to play their game.
Other smaller parties who participated in 813 were driven by industry competition, private capital, mob mentality, and/or because they’re shitheads who found it fun.
Further reading: Lead-up to 813
5. Does the lack of news about Zhang Zhehan mean he’s given up / he’s lost his case?
Absolutely not, and quite the opposite in fact. Avoiding the public eye is the best thing Zhang Zhehan can do to avoid media frenzy and the potential skewing of the narrative that that could cause. Due to the length of time it has been since 813, whatever Zhang Zhehan first does when he becomes public again is guaranteed to cause a stir, and therefore he has to be very careful about not saying anything publicly until he and his case are at a favourable point to do so.
Further reading:  -  Question about the length of the case  -  Breakdown of the legal process in relation to Zhang Zhehan’s case
6. Could Zhang Zhehan pursue a career internationally instead?
Until his name is cleared, no.
Zhang Zhehan did not have enough international recognition prior to 813 to realistically build a career overseas, and he has not shown fluency in any language other than Mandarin with which to do so. Even if he did pursue this, until his name is cleared he will always be associated with 813 and would struggle to find success with how he would be viewed by Chinese diaspora.
As well, given the nationalistic nature of 813, seeking a career overseas would communicate guilt and/or giving up on his case.
7. Is Zhang Sanjian / the zhangzhehan_super3 Instagram account / the person releasing new songs Zhang Zhehan?
No. There is overwhelming evidence that Zhang Sanjian etc. is a scam using Zhang Zhehan’s name and image, utilizing photoshopping, deepfakes, and impersonators.
The people behind this have known professional connections to CAPA, and the activities the scam has engaged in have consistently been aimed at further damaging his image. The Zhang Sanjian persona is characterized as having given up on clearing his name, being degrading and rude to both his fans and former costars, and giving up on his career in China to pursue international fame (see point 6 above). Practically every action made by the persona and related parties go completely against Zhang Zhehan’s character and/or make no logical sense for someone in his position.
Further reading:   -  Timeline of the IG’s early activity  -  Deepfake breakdown  -  Collected information about the Bangkok concerts  -  Wiki page for the IG account
8. Why doesn’t Zhang Zhehan speak out against Zhang Sanjian?
See point 5 above. It is likely that part of the original aim of Zhang Sanjian was specifically to try to bait him into saying something against it. The scam has been trying very hard to control the public narrative via buying public screens, commissioning tabloid articles, releasing a ridiculous number of songs and artificially raising hit counts on these, etc.
9. Why go through so much effort to erase Zhang Zhehan / continue the Zhang Sanjian scam?
For CAPA, Zhang Zhehan winning his case and overturning his boycott will heavily diminish their industry influence (not to mention jail time, hopefully). It could, in the best case scenario, even lead to the complete disbandment of the company under Chinese anti-monopoly legislation. (see the first point under [this post])
For the smaller players involved in the scam specifically, the motive is by and large personal financial gain. Many are known to be in debt / have been in debt but are suddenly now making lavish purchases (Sophie for example), some are known professional con men (Peter), and some are seeking other personal goals such as trying to get famous themselves (Lexus), to promote their own businesses (the Chens and the gym bros), or even for sexual gratification (Hewitt).
As well, it’s important to keep in mind the financial scale of the extremely lucrative Chinese entertainment industry. The amount that has been spent on 813 and everything since is barely anything in the grand scheme of things.

A post about how a shit stain waste of space @ajawrites @bookshop attacked fans of Gong Jun and Zhang Zhehan in an article she wrote for @vox, and then went on to slander and defame Zhang Zhehan in an attempt to get the only article published about his cancellation by CAPA retracted.
Here's the context: On June 6, 2022, @vox published an article written by @ajawrites @bookshop claiming that fans of Gong Jun and Zhang Zhehan are "conspiracy theorists". In it, she makes all types of claims defaming myself and the entire JunZhe fandom (both here and in China) for being conspiracy theorists because we do not believe Zhang Zhehan's Instagram account is controlled by him. For those who don't know, Instagram fraud is rampant and there have been several Chinese celebrities who have been the victim of this. Zhang Zhehan's solo fans encouraged the reposting of this article and defended it because they somehow believe that Zhang Zhehan would "comeback" on an international platform before his name is cleared in China (another story for another day).
On June 14, 2022, less than one week after the publication of that article, The China Story published an article about why Zhang Zhehan was cancelled, and specifically that a non-governmental organization called the China Association of Performing Arts (CAPA) was behind the cancellation, not the Chinese government. It also described the efforts made by Li Xuezheng, a famous government-affiliated director, to clear his name. To my knowledge, this is the only story in the world to shine a light on CAPA's role in Zhang Zhehan's cancellation.
After this article was published, @ajawrites @bookshop wrote a long email to the China Story on June 18, 2022 seeking that the article be retracted. She claimed she had done "research" which showed that the article was part of a conspiracy theory (false), that Zhang Zhehan's family was linked to Japan (false), that Zhang Zhehan was cancelled by the government (false), that CAPA wasn't involved (false), and that all those who believe they are are "conspiracy theorists" (false). She repeats anti talking points to smear Zhang Zhehan in an attempt to obtain a retraction of the article.
Yes, @ajawrites @bookshop attempted to get the only article in the world that described CAPA in a negative light retracted.
Tumblr media
We have a copy of the email. Here are some excerpts of her own words.
Here's @ajawrites @bookshop insinuating that Zhang Zhehan was banned by the government, when it has been proven on multiple occasions that the government did not ban Zhang Zhehan.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A writer who cannot even get this fact right does not deserve to be called a writer or a thinking human being.
Here's @ajawrites @bookshop claiming that Zhang Zhehan has family ties to Japan, which is FALSE.
Zhang Zhehan himself stated in his interview with Li Xuezheng on January 1, 2022 (seven months before this email) that this was not true. Yet, @ajawrites @bookshop continued to spread this smear to the editors of The China Story.
How does someone who is too lazy to confirm facts become a "culture writer" for @vox?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here's @ajawrites @bookshop claiming that their "research" shows that the public genuinely hated Zhang Zhehan. They claim that Zhang Zhehan was not cancelled by bad actors, but rather by the "public".
They ignore all the proof and statements that what happened was due to malicious competition and monopoly. All of this was readily available, had @ajawrites @bookshop actually done diligent research. Li Xuezheng had, after all, talked about it for weeks at the end of 2021 and early 2022.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But of course @ajawrites @bookshop knows better! They know better than even Chinese people! They even know that CAPA is a government organization, when CAPA itself said that it is not government and does not represent government.
Pretty rich for white journalist @ajawrites @bookshop to claim that when Li Xuezheng, a renowned government affiliated film director, says that Zhang Zhehan's cancellation was not done by the Chinese government but instead by CAPA, he is spouting a "conspiracy theory".
@vox is this the type of sinophobic journalists that your publication now employs?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here's @ajawrites @bookshop defending CAPA by stating that it is not to blame for Zhang Zhehan's censorship from all media platforms in China.
Except they failed to read the multiple media reports indicating that CAPA had allied itself with multiple media platforms to ban those it deems "immoral". These media resources includes a western outlet, Reuters. Basic due diligence would have unearthed this, but it appears neither @ajawrites @bookshop or @vox care about the facts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here's @ajawrites @bookshop suggesting (as a white foreign writer with zero access to his case), that it is "unlikely" that Zhang Zhehan's investigation would go anywhere, that he can't come back, that he is "already back".
These are clear anti talking points easily found on Chinese social media.
Tumblr media
Of particular note is that @ajawrites @bookshop claims that these conclusions are a result of their "research". Yes in their own words, in 2020 they were just learning Chinese. With their level of genius, I bet they're not far from being a beginner.
Yet, this is the type of "expert" that @vox employs to write about Chinese fan culture.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The article in China Story is one of the only published articles in the world that details how Zhang Zhehan was cancelled by CAPA, not the Chinese government. Yet @ajawrites @bookshop, great friend to Zhang Zhehan solo fans asked for a retraction.
Yes, we have the email. They actually did.
Who has incentive to take down an article that speaks negatively about CAPA? Who has incentive to water down statements negative to CAPA? Who has incentive to perpetuate smears against Zhang Zhehan internationally?
Who better to manipulate than a lazy and dumb writer like @ajawrites @bookshop
I do wonder how @vox and its advertisers feels about @ajawrites @bookshop spreading slander about a Chinese celebrity and his fandom? I wonder if @vox even bothers with basic fact-checking? I wonder if @vox is okay with one of its writers contacting another publication in an attempt to supports their biased views?
To the Zhang Zhehan fans (Zhang Sanjian believers) who have fawned at the feet of @ajawrites @bookshop: good to know that you support those who defend CAPA, the organization that cancelled Zhang Zhehan.
And one last thing to @ajawrites @bookshop: only a shit stain waste of space would write an article about a celebrity to gain a following in his fandom while actually despising him, believing the smears against him, and thinking he's a t******.
We call people like you blood sucking vampires.

tuesday again 2/27/2024
this is the longest ive ever been unemployed and media is only doing so much to beat back the horrors. so let’s talk about the media instead of the horrors
listening
Come Up For Air by We The Commas, off i think one of the autogenerated spotify indie mixes?
youtube
sort of a rollicking modern little surf rock thing, they describe themselves as "surf and alternate rhythm and blue" which is pretty bang on imo. they're all brothers (their last name genuinely is Comma, which i salute as a fellow weird last name haver), and cite john mayer (i don't really hear it) and the beach boys (yes i hear this very much) as some of their influences. a song i had on loop for an entire forty minute drive and did not get tired of. spotify
-
reading
Tumblr media
three books that MUST go back to the library tomorrow bc their autorenew is up and i was emotionally unable to get a library card without tooling around and getting a stack of books a month ago.
Tumblr media
thank you philip.
i really only liked the Carmilla adaptation by Amy Chu, bc it really gets at what i didn't realize was the heart of the original 1872 lesbian vampire novella: a toxic gay housing situation you have fallen into and can't get out of bc your area is so so so expensive and housing is so so so tenuous. i have read the original but not in a while, this is an excellent modern adaptation centering around a nyc social worker in the late seventies that presupposes no knowledge and intertwines the original novella in the form of a stolen rare book. (nonconsecutive pages)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i don't have much to say about the DC young adult comic about the circus career of one of the Robins (Dick Grayson). i didn't love the loose artstyle and am not in its intended age range plus it had a bit too much therapyspeak, but it did have a clever use of a very limited color palette.
let's yank the amazon description for the detective novel, which i grabbed bc it vaguely pinged something in my brain about one of the fallout 4 sidequests and i've picked books up for worse reasons (SPOILERS):
Jacob Rigolet, a soon-to-be former assistant to a wealthy art collector, looks up from his seat at an auction—his mother, former head librarian at the Halifax Free Library, is walking almost casually up the aisle. Before a stunned audience, she flings an open jar of black ink at master photographer Robert Capa’s “Death on a Leipzig Balcony.” Jacob’s police detective fiancée, Martha Crauchet, is assigned to the ensuing interrogation.
i simply fucking hated this authorial style and tone and ditched it two chapters in. i don’t currently have the patience for reading about a clinically insane mother and hate crimes against Jewish people. despite the fairly dark premise, the first two chapters veer into cozy mystery with very short sentences, which do not a noir make. now, it does not advertise itself as noir or neo-noir, but as an homage to noir. it is for me unbearably smug. in my most unkind heart of hearts i want to say it's like if wes anderson tried to make a noir. this is a book that wants you to know it has read other noirs. yes thank you ive read several others, that’s why im reading this one, stop reminding me of better books i could be reading.
there's some weird descriptions of womens' bodies in here. chandler (my beloved) is certainly guilty of this as well, but he lavishes a sort of equal opportunity eye on the men in his mysteries. cf the infamous daniel lavery description.
Tumblr media
when i read a chandler description of someone’s physical appearance there’s a fruity bisexual aftertaste in my mouth. Howard Norman, below, saying a woman takes great care of herself puts my hackles up. i understand the difference between an author and a character believing something and i don’t want to read a book where either the author or the character have this sort of pitying condescension towards a woman’s body. im feeling extremely terrible about my own body right now due to the various maladies, and another sort of breaking point for me is when an author repeatedly describes "naked breasts" (exact wording) pressing against someone's torso. it feels so juvenile. that's the sexiest thing you can possibly think of??? that's the sexiest way you can think of to describe an early mornign moment of intimacy???? augh i read the NYT review and it gets worse.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
shut the FUCK up. i left my apartment at 1130 PM to go put this book in my CAR. i don't want it in my HOUSE.

watching
Tumblr media
Bullitt (1968, dir. Yates, free on Tubi). the baddie in this is Robert Vaughn (who i know from cowboys), a guy i fucking love to see. i can take or leave Steve McQueen but he does such a killer job parallel parking in this movie and i wish all driving movies made their leads parallel park. shockingly realistic hospital, morgue, and police work scenes, apparently was one of the big films to popularize blood squibs. also love to see a haunted man splash water on his face and stare into a mirror.
youtube
if you asked me how long the famous car chase was i would have said like 2:30? substantial but snappy. no!!! eleven minutes!! (video a bit trimmed). also a rare movie that makes a foot chase through an airport as exciting as that eleven minute car chase!!!
the mob dodging plot was a little hard to follow, but i was operating on like four hours of sleep and a rum and coke. this has got to be a tremendous movie to watch when you’re home and sick on the couch huddled under a blanket. i mean this as a compliment, as someone who watches Escape from New York whenever i feel very sick

playing
Tumblr media
really wanted to get to 69 shrines before writing this post and finally did it. all the little divine beasts walking along the loading screen are SO cute i've never gotten all four before
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
all the divine beasts are unlocked and the champions laid to rest! im feeling some type of way emotionally speaking about all of them telling link IMMEDIATELY that it wasn't his or zelda's fault they died
Tumblr media Tumblr media
rudania has the worst boarding mission (in order of ones i most enjoyed it's camel [SO fast and SO fun], bird [lots of time to think and plan and aim], elephant [did not make me do a tedious stealth mission but i am bad at locking on to rapidly moving things behind me, much like in real life], and lizard. the lizard stealth mission is simply unpleasant). however, my brain really clicked with the puzzles in rudania: i had to consult a walkthrough once for an optional chest. in order of interior beast puzzle enjoyment for me it's lizard, bird, elephant, and camel. really got stuck for a long time on the waterwheels with the elephant before consulting a walkthrough.
Tumblr media
the yiga clan stealth mission was not as hard as i thought it would be. i don't know why i put that off for two real life weeks but i will not learn my lesson and i will never improve. this boss battle was just silly.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
the vah naboris interior puzzles were not fun. idk what it was about them or my brain that made me have such a bad time, but i spammed revali's gale and skipped a lot of chests bc i was not having fun. this is why god invented the walkthrough but sometimes. shit is just too fiddly.
i did succeed on the thunder ganon boss battle first try, but i came in with extra hearts from mipha's grace, used another mipha's grace in the fight, went through five fairies and seven hearty simmered fruits that were 5x durians (which gives you 20 extra hearts or some shit). fucking nightmare. i was stuck on one hit left on ganon for like five minutes bc he got stuck in the very fast flurry attack cycle. unpleasant. deeply grateful it only made me smack him with the magnesis pillar once bc that was also really fiddly with my poor reaction time + poor fine motor skills + previously mentioned ancient controller with some drift. in order of boss battle enjoyment i think it's lizard (made me think and kept me on my toes a little but i did have to look up how to break the shield), elephant (you can just kind of tank it), bird (same), and camel (extremely not fun).
Tumblr media
this was WITH a fully upgraded gimp suit btw. that shit (ganon) just hits hard.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
shrine shenanigans:
crowned beast very fun, i have one or two of kass' songs left and then i hope i get to see him back in rito village with his family??? a little nervous bc i went right to the jungle spring without hearing his song first so idk if that will. count??? or softlock me.
the MOUNDS of failed cooking attempts around this shrine on the grasslands side of the gerudo barrier mountains were SO funny.
unlocked all the spring shrines. what a fun mission. what a fun climb.
went to my FAVORITE shrine!!! going into what you think will be a normal cave and discovering it is DEEP with a BIG WHALE INSIDE is top three video game whale moments (the other two are diving with the whales in ABZU and meeting the last whale in the first dishonored).
other bits and bobs:
Tumblr media
eggman rocks???
Tumblr media
this quest was really cute and i wish there was a corresponding quest for the guy hanging around the broken heart pond, but it always makes me laugh whenever a dragon shows up in the background of a screenshot. a really great touching moment but watch out for the elemental orbs rapidly approaching us
Tumblr media
also made me chortle. get it together barta.
Tumblr media
i wish the helm was upgradable but i think making me kill a molduga in order to borrow it is a pretty fair trade actually.

i originally had a really long thing here about litterbox trials and tribulations but i have decided to spare you all. you're welcome.
many balcony improvements, including putting up trellises and installing bird spikes to hopefully keep a very persistent orange tom off my balcony and away from my girls.
there are a goofy number of obstacles in the way of me making a proper planting diagram (sketchbooks buried deep in closet. flung the seeds in a box on a shelf i need to find my stepstool for. can't find pencil sharpener) so for the second week in a row that's not happening. however, sprouts.

Sunshine (2007): Character Backstories
found on reddit.
Tumblr media
__________
Capa: Physicist
Nationality: American
When Capa was seventeen, he wrote a paper which he submitted to America’s foremost scientific journals. It contributed to the understanding of dark matter, and in particular a theory for a controlled method releasing its energy. Although dark matter theory was already well advanced, Capa’s theory assisted in the formation of the principle on which the Stellar Bomb was constructed for the Icarus I mission. Capa was too young to have accompanied this first Icarus mission. But in the intervening years, Capa continued his research. By the time it was realised that the first mission had failed, and preparations for a second mission began, Capa was the world’s foremost expert on the dark matter bomb. Because Capa is the only member of the crew who is not, by history and training, an astronaut, he is an outsider. In this respect, much of the crew see him as effectively a piece of valuable equipment, which must be transported intact to the delivery point. Kaneda, however, feels differently towards Capa. He feels protective in a way which is partly paternal. He knows that it is hard for Capa being an outsider, a passenger, and goes out of his way to make Capa feel included. What Kaneda doesn’t fully realise is that Capa is by nature a loner. He is perfectly content with his own company, working in the dark interior of the Stellar Bomb. Searle does realise this—in fact, it is Capa’s self-contained quality that Searle likes. And Capa likes Searle equally. The two of them get on: they talk the same language, and have a similar sense of humour. Although they are both fundamentally loners, the relationship between them is actually the strongest bond in the crew. Capa is better than Kaneda at chess, and so he always lets Kaneda play white. Capa sometimes lets Kaneda win. Intellectually and internally, Capa is an atheist.
__________
Cassie: Pilot
Nationality: American
Cassie’s background is military—she entered the space program through her experience as a pilot in the US air-force. But she does not fit the stereotype of military personnel. She is non-competitive. She has no particular interest in, or attraction to, machismo. She doesn’t have an automatic deferential response to rank or duty. Cassie has a personal interest in the arts. She was the only crew member who packed books in her kit-bag as personal possessions. Both instinctively and academically, Cassie is a humanist. She likes people, she cares about people. Her sense of mankind is non-cynical and forgiving: she would believe that, in general and as a default position, people are good. Cassie is an atheist. She doesn’t believe in God because she sees no reason for God to exist. She is confident in herself. She is comfortable within her own skin. On the psychological profiles about who would cope best with the long-term deep-space mission, Cassie’s score was the highest. There were pilots in the space program who matched and exceeded her skill, but none that were seen as more suitable for the stresses and pressures of the mission. She has no primary partner, and, as with all the crew, she has no children. However, four months before the mission left Earth Orbit, Cassie became pregnant. The identity of the father was known only to her: he was never aware that Cassie was briefly carrying his child. She terminated the pregnancy after six weeks. The only member of the crew who knows this is Searle, who assisted her in hiding her blood test results from the other doctors in the space program. The termination of her pregnancy had a subtle effect on her outlook—a discreet emotional accent in her perception of life, and death. This nuance might have skewed her psychological profiling, had the most crucial psych-tests not already been carried out. She dreams continuously about the surface of the sun.
__________
Corazon: Biologist
Nationality: Chinese
Corazon was born in Manila, but her Chinese/Filipino parents moved to the Chinese mainland when she was a young girl. She worked in the Pan-Asian Space program, but, like Trey and Kaneda, was drafted into the U.S. program to work on the Icarus project. Corazon is a career astronaut from the Chinese space program. Her area of specialised knowledge is the cultivation of high-yield oxygen-producing plants. For the last fifteen years, Corazon has been based on the international Moon stations, where she supervised the oxygen production and recycling program. Whereas everyone else on the crew see their mission as to secure the future of mankind, Corazon sees the protection of life in broader terms. Her wish would be to protect Earth as a single biosphere, of which mankind is just one part. Corazon’s feelings for her plants and the Oxygen Garden are more intense than her feelings for any of the crew. In emotional terms, she feels the loss of more deeply. Out of all the crew, her natural ally is Mace. Although she is calmer and less hot-blooded than Mace, they are both pragmatists. They both work with their hands. And most importantly, they are not sentimental. Corazon is the only crew member who has never used the calming properties of the Earth Room. For her, the Earth Room is simply artificial, and she prefers instead to spend solitary time in her beloved Oxygen Garden. Corazon is married, but like all the crew of Icarus II, she has no children. In her final recorded message to her husband, she spoke no words. Instead she gazed at the screen for exactly one minute, then smiled, and sent the message home. When Corazon sleeps, she dreams of rice-field terraces cut into hillsides.
__________
Harvey: Comms Officer, Second in Command
Nationality: American
Harvey is a veteran of the U.S. space program, and is one of the few members of the Icarus II crew to have had any involvement in the Icarus I mission. As a young graduate into the Icarus project, he worked as a junior engineer on the Icarus I comms system. Harvey is a Protestant. He is married to his childhood sweetheart. They are without children. He earned his place on the Icarus II mission partly as a result of his invention of the LIGHT BOX COMMS SYSTEM. Built into his console, when he immerses himself in this oddly thick beam of light, he can cancel out the noise of background interference from radiation storms and solar flares. It is this space he retreats to, of purity of sound, to escape from the stresses and pressures of the deep-space mission. Harvey earned his rank on the Icarus II mission partly by hard work and all-round abilities. He is a fine engineer, and would be able to perform most of Mace, Trey, and Cassie’s duties at an equal level. His physical fitness and general health is extremely good. He consistently scored highest in crew fitness tests. He also scored extremely highly on psych tests, as a dependable and stable member of the crew. However, in the psych tests, he managed to disguise (and they failed to detect) his Achilles heel: which is his attachment to his wife. Simply, he misses her. He dreams of her every night. He is terrified by the idea that he will not survive the mission, and never see her again. It is this weakness that eats away inside him.
__________
Kaneda: Captain
Nationality: Japanese
Kaneda was born in Kyoto. He worked for many years in the Pan-Asian Space Program, with both Corazon and Trey. He was then transferred to the Icarus Project, based first in America, and then on the orbiting international space station. In both age and time spent in space flight, he is the most experienced astronaut of the crew. He was a natural choice to lead the second mission. The entire crew of Icarus II are deferential to him. No one questions his authority or judgement. Kaneda has no wife and no children. He is Buddhist. He has an unforced and pragmatic spiritualism. In his sleeping quarters, he has a small shrine. Outwardly, Kaneda is a model of calm, and he leads by example. But privately, he obsesses about fate of Icarus I. He questions and re-questions the failure of the previous mission. Kaneda feels paternalistic towards all his crew, but in particular, Capa. This is partly because Capa is the youngest, but also because Capa is the only crew member who is not a career astronaut. He knows that it is hard for Capa being an outsider, a passenger, and goes out of his way to make Capa feel included. Kaneda’s closest intellectual equal is Searle. Searle is the only member of the crew with whom he would maintain a friendship outside the context of the mission.
__________
Mace: Engineer
Nationality: American
Mace is in some senses a blue-collar scientist: his specialist area is Engineering. He doesn’t understand the code programming that creates the Icarus Flight Computer—because no one does. The coding behind Icarus is so immensely complex that it required other computers to generate it. But what Mace does understand is the circuitry mapping and the mechanics that run it. His family background is military. He grew up on air-bases; both parents were pilots. He has an innate belief in the chain of command, and an innate distrust of those—such as Capa—who sit outside the chain of command. His mind is practical and three-dimensional, not abstract. He has never read a book for pleasure. He would rather spend spare time doing push-ups than listening to music. He cuts his hair short because life is easier that way. He is honest. He has no vanity, but he does have pride. Mace is disgusted with himself when he finds that, over the long journey to Mercury, he has lost his focus on the mission. He is the only crew member whose vision remains unclouded in respect of this goal. He is unsentimental. He doesn’t like Capa. He has a dry sense of humour which is for his own benefit rather than anyone else’s. That is to say, he doesn’t crack a joke in order to make other people laugh. He is not a firebrand. If anything, he is the opposite. His mind is clear, and is not cluttered by the confusions of adrenaline or passion. Losing his temper with Capa is the exception; not the rule. He never remembers his own dreams. If he did, he’d find, to his surprise, that he often dreams of Cassie.
__________
Searle: Doctor and Psych Officer
Nationality: American
Searle is not married. Searle is the only crew member who did not have a counter-part on Icarus I. Icarus I had a doctor, but no psychiatrist. Endless theories were developed and explored for the failure of Icarus I. Searle was the primary advocate for the theory that the failure of the mission might have been for psychological reasons—the psychiatric collapse of one or all of the crew. He spent years researching the effects of deep-space travel and its effects on the mind—during which time he developed and created the Earth Room. As a consequence of his research, he argued strongly that the Med Officer on Icarus II should also be a qualified psychiatrist. It was an argument he won. Its unintended consequence was that Searle himself was chosen as the Psych Officer for the mission. His own psychological profile is of a man who is extremely emotionally stable. He is even-tempered. He has a good sense of humour. He is not given to panic or hasty decisions. However, he is also a man who is eternally separate from other people. He is detached. A watcher. Unjudgemental. Oddly unconcerned. This can make him appear (particularly to Mace) unprofessional. Searle is the only member of the crew to know that Cassie became pregnant, and aborted her child, during the final stages of the Icarus II preparation. He helped her hide this from continuous medical examinations, by using earlier samples of blood and urine tests. Searle’s motivations and his agendas are his own, and could best be described as philosophical. Ultimately, he believes only this: the larger the searchlight, the larger the circumference of the unknown. Searle does not believe in God. But he thinks that sometimes he glimpses God, hidden in the sunshine. Whether this tells himself something about God, or something about himself, is unclear to him.
__________
Trey: Navigator
Nationality: Chinese
Trey was born in Hong Kong. Trey has a prodigious ability with mathematics. He has can perform extremely complicated calculations in his head, and can perform the classic mathematician’s party-trick: to tell you what day of the week any given date fell on. When he was only twelve, he achieved a brief world-wide notoriety as the writer of the Hong-Kong-King-Kong computer virus, which wiped out the operational abilities of twelve percent of the planet’s computers in a single day, freezing up the systems and replacing them with a picture of a gorilla beating its chest, swiped from the 1980s Nintendo Donkey Kong game. Although he was just old enough for criminal prosecution, he was spared any kind of juvenile prison sentence because he was talent-spotted by the Pan-Asian space program. He worked in China until he was nineteen. Then, like Corazon and Kaneda, he relocated to the US to work on the Icarus project. His extreme talent for mathematics is also the cause of his mistake on the mission. He is unwilling to give the role of recalculating the changed flight trajectory to Icarus, because he is afraid to delegate such an important task to anyone, or anything, else. This decision is not born from arrogance. It is simply the safest option from his point of view—he knows the limits of his own parameters, and feels more comfortable if all variables are known to him, and under his direct control. His closest friend out of the crew is Mace. Trey is not married, has no partner, and no children. When he sleeps, he dreams of number sequences.

Barrett Time 2
Barrett dives into the aspects and ways that time and motion are used by artists within the art community. It was Einstein that determined in his Theory of Relativity that time is relative…depending on your frame of reference of course. This is just as true when an artist is creating their piece and their narrative. Is it actual time they are recording or displaying? It is implied? Or is it recorded over a period of time. There are many ways to achieve these ideas of time; from photographs to video to sculptures and 2D works. The concept of time can be manipulated by the artist to achieve their goal. We can use time to tell a story over a certain length of time such as an hour or a day. We can also use time in a chronological way to point out a certain time in history. For example, in Jacques-Louis David’s painting of The Oath of the Horatii he uses time in a way to pin point a moment in history. I like this painting because it was eerily a prophesy or foretelling of a bloody battle as it was painted before it happened.
Tumblr media
The same can be said for how motion is created with an art piece. Does the artist use actual motion or implied? Motion can be as simple as capturing a car driving by. In Nathan Fox’s hand drawn illustration (The Other Army, The New York Times Magazine) he creates motion in his retelling of a serious even that involved American Soliders in the Iraq war. In Robert Capa’s Omaha Beach, Normandy Coast, France photography Capa capture what one would consider a blurry photo at first glance. However the motion of the camera due to Capa being in a war zone he was unable to keep steady. This motion created more emotion for the photograph.
Tumblr media
I hope to explore time and motion more within this 4D class. Creating narratives that tell a story over a short period of time within limited images or in an even shorter period of time. Also on the spectrum of using images or video over a longer period of time and constructing a work in a more condensed way without loosing its meaning or narrative.
Tumblr media
Lina Amari Sifuentes’s Fashionably Late for the Relationship stuck out to me as well because she used herself as a live installment in her piece. She became her art. Also I have always found it interesting how some performance artists will “live” in containments such as this for the full public to see them in very vulnerable  atmospheres.

Twins - part 2
Initials key:
Mi? - milan [story]
Mi - milan [irl]
Ad - Adrain
So - Sombra
Ca - Capa
To - Tocada
-9:14am-
mi - "no-, nope-"
she tried closing the door but milan stops her, pulling her into the shed in a way that looked a lot more painful then it actually was, she stumbled in but over all was fine.
the other 3 couldn't be seen by animals or people other then milan so none of them bothered to move, though Sombra softly stoped Tocada from getting closer.
mi - "what the FUCK?" mi? - "can you be quiet"
mi - "no- I'm looking at myself and it isn't in a mirror, are you me?"
mi? - "no, not at all, what happened to your book?"
the other 3 looked at her confused, they had the art book, especially Capa, was he was drawing in it right now, but he was quick to realize she had one for writing too,
mi - "my art book?"
mi? - "no the story"
mi - "shit, I never wrote the full story down, thought about a few things but- wait still who the hell are you?"
mi? - 'fuck just finish your thought' "a character you made,"
mi - "uh.. which one?"
mi? - "the only one you didn't bother naming,"
mi - "uh, well I didn't ever draw you like this, you were kinda a void, being thing. why do you look like me?"
mi? - "we changed a bit, and don't ask me how I got here, I don't know, i'm trying to get back now"
...
mi? - *sigh* "now where is the book?"
drowsy, who would have thought not sleeping well for years now would make you sleepy if you were all of a sudden more human and real then you could ever be in a book.
mi? - "fuck.. I didn't sleep before this all happened"
a slight head ache, now the mix of light from the door paired with the lack of it in the shed was only making the slight headache mild. this was the first time in years feeling pain and a head ache wasn't the best first pain. it made her feel powerless.
mi - "I mean you could sleep in my room I guess"
mi? - "I was going to anyway."
mi - "I- uh, I'll show you my room"
mi? - "I don't need you to, I know where it is"
mi - "uhm.. how??"
mi? - "some shit fucked up when you made me and I get almost all your memories, just stay here, when does your bother get home?"
mi - "uh, about 12- 2 maybe"
mi? - "i'll guess 1, bye"
she left the shed, a few seconds later and milan heard a clicking sound, she tried opening the door but couldn't, she looked out the window, passing right though Capa on her way over to It, but she was already gone, only seeing the back door close.
-1:30pm-
milan hadn't slept, instead she cleaned the house, just as she started to not care about a horrific dream she could have, a knock on the door woke her up out of the mer seconds of sleep.
she opened the door, Adrian was at the door, leaning next to the door frame, he expected her to be a little later then she was.
ad - " holy shit you are alive and well,"
mi? - "I wouldn't use well-" -mi-
ad - "yeah, when did you sleep last-"
mi? - "shit, i've been up since 10 last night" -mi-
ad - "dude, at that point just go to sleep, you look like you are about the drop"
mi - " I was until you forgot your keys, you know theres a spare under the doormat" -mi-
ad - "why use a spare when my little sister can just open the door"
at this point they walked together into the living room, where milan was about to sleep, she sat back on the couch and he continued walking to his room. she grunted but got up and went outside, not locking the door behind her. she used the house key, which was the same key for the lock, to open the shed, the real milan was asleep, Capa was sitting next to her and Sombra was still with Tocada in the far back.
she shook her softly,
mi? - "hey.. wake up."
mi - "huh.. what, A-"
she only got the very first part of the scream out before milan covered her mouth while she calmed down
mi? - "I cleaned the house, your brother is home, and say you have been up since 10 if anyone asks."
milan didn't let go of her face so she just nodded 'yes'

Robert Capa - Death of a Loyalist Soldier (1936)
(The Falling Soldier)
“There can be no evidence, photographic or otherwise, of an event until the event itself has been named and characterised. And it is never photographic evidence which can construct… events.”
“Although there is a sense in which the camera does indeed capture reality, not just interpret it, photographs are as much an interpretation of the world as paintings and drawings are.”
“Art is always manipulation from the moment you point a camera in one direction and not another” (Spanish Culture Minister - Angeles Gonzalez-Sinde)
This photo shows a soldier, mid-collapse from a fatal gunshot, during the battle of Cerramuriano in the Spanish Civil War. Named world’s greatest war photographer by British Magazine “picture post”, capa (who studied journalism and political science) often found himself photographing war settings, “The Falling Soldier”, being one of his most famous images in the world of war photography. I think this picture is incredibly powerful in depicting the fragility of life but also highlights moment in time, pausing on the exact moment between life and death. It also gives the viewer of the image a chance to reflect on the delicate nature of mortality. The composition of the image is also quite striking. Capa chose to crop this composition to bring the focal point to the action. He also crops off the shotgun in the soldier's hand, almost as if stripping the power away from the man.
Although it is considered to be one of the most famous photographs in the world, it is also faced with a lot of critics, claiming that this image was staged. A communications professor, Jose Manuel Susperregui, states that Capa’s picture was taken  in another town, 35 miles away from the battle lines. As it wasn’t taken in the frontlines, many people automatically claim it to be fake. Research wasn’t taken in the heat of battle but instead during a maneuver where it was said to be covered by snipers.

Are you making these mistakes with FDA 21 CFR PART 820 made for medical devices
Manufacturers are expected to follow the quality system requirements described in FDA 21 CFR part 820 This document guides to govern the design, manufacture, packaging, labelling, storage, installation, and servicing of medical devices intended for human use. The requirements in 21 CFR Part 820 are meant to ensure the safety and efficacy of medical devices sold in the US marketplace.
FDA conducts regular inspections of medical device manufacturers to ensure compliance with these regulations. The inspection process, known as the Quality System Inspection Technique (QSIT), evaluates a company’s internal quality processes to determine whether they are in alignment with or in violation of these regulatory requirements. If any violations are discovered, the inspecting agent from FDA will issue in the form of 483 Inspectional Observations, Warning Letters what is applicable
Here are the most common mistakes companies run into with FDA 21 CFR Part 820:
1.  CAPA Procedures and 21 CFR Part 820.100(a) CAPA not followed adequately and repeat failure is detected
2.  Complaint Handling and CFR Part 820.198(a) Parameters described in procedure are not fulfilled and closure is not timely and adequate.
3. Nonconforming Product and CFR Part 820.90(a) Investigation is not proper, CAPA is not applied conclusion is not enough, preventive action is not proper, repeat failure is detected.
4.  Purchasing Controls and CFR Part 820.50 control for specification and artwork s not controlled purchase found with old label artwork and specification. PO does not mention specification or art- work reference
5.  Process Validation and CFR Part 820.75 System is not adequate, not followed, re-validation where defined is not done or done late, changes are not captured in validation. Protocols are not properly and timely approved before starting activities.
6.  Quality Audit and CFR Part 820.22 Audit done randomly, annual plan is not available, Audit closer is not proper, audit compliance are not reviewed in Management review meeting.
7.  Device History Records and CFR Part 820.184 Incomplete, completed in hurry just before audit, quality and regulatory are not in full control of DHR.
8.  Design Validation and CFR Part 820.30(g) Protocol is not adequate; all aspects of validation are not covered. Documentation is not proper.
9 PMS (post marketing surveillance) System is not followed. Some reportable incidents are not informed to FDA. Some critical or major complaints related to product not covered in PMS
10 UDI (Unique Device Identification) system documentation and records are poorly maintained.
11. Production, process control and quality control and assurance: System inadequate, documentation is not timely, and records are filled late or improper. Critical values are not verified by another independent person.
IZiel adopts an analytical mindset thus enabling us to root out all possible non-conformances in a regulatory submission. IZiel works in collaboration with your team to develop the complete Design History File (DHF) including requirements management, risk management, process validations and software validations using robust design controls process and quality system procedures. Thereafter, IZiel team works with their regulatory team in USA to complete the submissions (510k or PMA) for USFDA Approvals.

What does music mean to you? How does it make you feel?
So music to me is like the embodiment of human emotions and thoughts and yeah, at the same time it is still something really universal and ethereal because, I don't know, it's the middle of the emotions and the tangible things that we have as humans. And I don't know, it just makes me feel good, man. Like good and sexy, nostalgic, sad, then still sexy then sexy and sexy and sexy and sexy. That's it.
How big of a part does music play in your life and career?
To me, music is definitely one of the biggest part of my life because well, career wise, I would love to work in the music industry. I'm an aspiring artist and yeah, it would be amazing, but I think that whatever plan God has in store for me, definitely music will be a big part of it and it will influence my life a lot. So yeah, it just means a lot. And I wouldn't know how to explain it with words.
What's a song you know word for word, bar for bar?
The song I know word for word, bar by bar - okay my Italian came out - is Mama Saturn by Tanarélle because I don't know, I've listened to that song too much and it's just speaks to me in a different level. It's - wow. Yeah.
Tumblr media
Do you collect vinyl? If so what do you enjoy about it? And if not, how come?
I sadly do not collect vinyls because I don't have the player thing - I don't know how to say in English - and they're expensive, but I would love to and I'm really sad that I don't, but I still support my favourite artists by buying tickets for them.
Tell me about your favourite concert that you went to.
I've been to many concerts I enjoyed, no bad concerts, but I think as of lately, Mahmood. My favourite Italian artist came to London [on] May 2nd. It was my birthday so it was really special to me. I had a birthday hat on and so he said happy birthday to me and yeah, that's why I think it was probably the most special, and everyone was Italian in the venue, you know? So it felt like I had a piece of home in that venue that night, so yeah.
Your favourite lyric?
You'd kneel down to the dry land / Kiss the earth that birthed you [Frank Ocean, Pink + White]
Give me the name of a playlist you made with no context.
R&B TO PLAY IN A BENZ
Tumblr media
What are your desert island disc albums?
So I have Blond by Frank Ocean for my 'being sad' moments. Ghettolimpo - to remind myself where I'm from - by Mahmood and 4U by Ojerime, 'cause it's a sexy album.
Tell me about music your parents played while you were growing up.
So my mom and my dad were really different in taste. In fact, my dad brought me to the old school Italian music, so like Domenico Modugno, Fabrizio De André; while my mum was really like thee singers, you know, Whitney Houston, Tina Turner. She used to play all of that. And yeah so I grew up with that type of music. And then when I started listening to my own music, a lot of R&B and stuff, they started to listen to that music as well, so yeah.
Briefly talk me through the songs you put in this playlist, what do they mean to you.
My first song is Ghettolimpo by Mahmood because it's just a work of art that song speaks about like his personal life, how he grew up and his relationship with religion and faith, but also just music in general and chasing his dreams, growing up without his dad.
And then there's Pyramids by Frank Ocean because that song is just simply the greatest song of all time.
SUMMER SALT by Smino because it's my summer song. And Smino was definitely one of the biggest influences in my life.
Out Of My Way by RIMON, cuz that's my party song, it's my favourite party song.
'A capa e 'o core by SVM & LaHasna is a Neapolitan Italian song. And I love how the lyrics are so angry, but  the song is just - I don't know - it's like you're on a wave, you know, it's so nice.
And then there's I Know Now (2003) by Ojerime, which is - listen, guys, listen, I don't owe any explanation.
No Angel by Beyonce because it's underrated as fuck and that's one of her best songs and I don't know, I just love the switch, the beat switch and what she does with her voice.
Mama Saturn by Tanarélle, 'cause that's a song I know word for word.
Burn by Jorja Smith, 'cause it speaks to me, I'm sure she wrote it for herself and for every person that you know was going through something, especially as a teenager sometimes.
And the last one is Amore che vieni, amore che vai and it's an Italian old school song, which my dad used to play in the car all the time, so yeah.

International Journal Of Psychoscial Rehabilitation
The pace of change in the community mental health field is staggering. Twenty years ago we thought sheltered workshops were great. Today sheltered workshops have fallen into disfavour. Ten years ago we believed that day treatment programs were “it”. We’ve changed our minds about those too. It makes us wonder what will be the state-of-the-art ten years from now.
A similar transformation or evolution has happened in supportive housing. Twenty years ago, the Homes for Special Care system was the prominent form of supportive housing. Ten years ago, group homes which offered life skills training were heralded as the best choice for people disabled by mental illness. Today, permanent, normal housing with access to flexible supports is considered the ideal. All of these changes have several things in common. Reflected in these changes is the recognition that reduction of psychiatric symptoms alone is not enough; we also need to look at the whole person and how he/she functions in their home, work, school and social life. In addition to teaching people skills in relation to these settings we also need to increase environmental supports and resources. Just as the wheelchair-bound person needs ramps to enter a building, so too does the psychiatrically disabled person need modifications to their environment to support independent functioning. A very important factor in this evolution is the growing appreciation of providing choices and recognizing people’s preferences. How many more changes would we see if we gave the consumers the power to purchase the kind of treatment and support services they wanted.
The move away from a solitary focus on symptomatology to looking at one’s level of functioning in the world, brings with it the basic assumption or belief in hope. It has to because we do not have the ability to predict who will do well and who won’t. It also sets the stage for an approach that builds on strengths and abilities rather than emphasizing symptoms or illness.
Another common element in the evolution of community mental health is the true individualization of services. In the past we kidded ourselves that programs were individualized because we gave the consumer the choice of attending a budgeting or assertiveness training group in their day program, or because we assumed that one-to-one counseling meant individualization within a “prepackaged” program. Pre-set, time-limited programs were easy to administer but have shown poor results due to their inability to truly address individual needs. Dr. Wm. Anthony has often described these packaged programs by using the analogy of an optometrist handing a basketful of eye glasses to a patient and telling them to pick the ones they want. True individualized programs custom tailor their services to each person, much like the optometrist prescribing lenses for each patient. Getting away from the perceived need to congregate people in time-limited, prepackaged programs has done a lot to improve our ability to address individual needs and wants.
The common elements in these changes or evolution have combined to form a new clinical technology. Psychosocial rehabilitation (PSR) is currently considered one of the most promising intervention approaches in working with psychiatrically disabled adults. Unfortunately, there has also been a great deal of confusion about PSR. Over the last 30 years, hundreds of services and agencies have claimed they are using PSR. The rapid growth in the use of this approach has fostered many variations and innovations (some credible and some radical). There are, however, (at least in our minds) ten essential elements that characterize the PSR approach :
Individualization : services must be custom tailored to the individual. This means that program delivery must be very flexible and driven by individual choice. Hope : belief in the potential to change and grow of even the most severely disabled individual. Within everyone is an untapped, under-utilized human capacity that should be developed. Client-directed : people have the right and a responsibility for self-determination. This means the consumer makes the decisions including how long they receive the service. Focus on skills : the core of rehabilitation is increased competencies through skill acquisition. Strengths and abilities : an emphasis on current strengths and abilities and not on symptom reduction or problems from the past. Environmentally specific : strengths and abilities must be assessed in relation to a specific environment. Skills must also be taught in relation to the environment in which they will be used. Environmental supports : modifying the environment and building external supports are equally as important as skill teaching. This includes social change (changing attitudes, rights, laws, etc.) Partnership approach : the creation of an intimate environment with no professional authoritative barriers is essential. On-going support : programs should not be time-limited but geared to the individual.program delivery must be very flexible and by individual choice. History has shown us that many seriously mentally ill people succeed as long as support is provided on an on-going basis. Skills and supports in balance : a person can only concentrate on improving/learning 1-2 skills at a time. Supports must be provided in any other deficit areas to enable the person to function until they master the current skills and can move on to learning or improving 1 or 2 more skills. Therefore, skills and supports are always in balance with one another. It will be very interesting to watch the further evolution of this approach in the next ten years. One can expect even more significant changes to occur given the strength of the consumer movement and the recent heightened emphasis on PSR programming by the Ministry of Health.

Post from Li Xuezheng with a document from the NRTA attached (according to the stamp the doc was from yesterday, Dec 22 2021)
rough tl of the doc:
The application for information disclosure you submitted has been received, and the reply is as follows: In accordance with the fourth item of Article 36 of the Regulations of the PRC on Information Disclosure, I would like to inform you that:
"The NRTA defines Zhang Zhehan as an inferior or unethical artist, and required social media platforms to take down his accounts, required streaming platforms to take down his works, implemented an industry-wide boycott of said artist and instructed the China Association of Performing Arts to issue a statement denouncing him,"
This information does not exist because our bureau has not produced or obtained relevant information. Thank you for your attention to our work. If you are not satisfied with this reply, you may file an application for administrative reconsideration with our bureau within 60 days from the date of service of this reply, or file an administrative lawsuit with a people's court within 6 months from the date of service of this reply," [end]
Basically:
Tumblr media
So his social media accounts being taken down and all his works being taken down were not done under the orders of the NRTA. The NRTA has not defined him as an immoral artist, nor did they ask CAPA to release that statement against him. So for those doubting what was already obvious since August, this whole thing was initiated by people within the industry.
Hope this clears up at least part of the misinfo propagated by AvenueX on her platform. No, CAPA was not acting under the orders of the government, nor are they a government body.
Also this one:
Tumblr media
Ngl I'm a little pissed that there are people who actually bought into this. This is so goddamn stupid. She said she has "multiple sources" that confimed NRTA had a meeting and ZZH's ban was decided. She has multiple sources. Giving her intel from the NRTA. The NRTA.
@avenuex123 Does NRTA hold their meetings at your nearest Starbucks?

813 - The Reprise, Part 3/?
Part One
Part Two
Part 3.1 - ZZH Mom responds
Masterpost for all parts
Hey everyone, so Uncle Li has been plugging along and many revelations have been made public, I'll try to summarize the important ones here (and the ones that have to do with ZZH)
Tumblr media
As of December 2, 2021:
Previously: Uncle Li launched a full-fledged social media / legal assault against CAPA. CAPA was curiously silent, as well as other verified (“blue V” because they have a tiny blue V next to their weibo icons) business entities were also silent. Uncle Li’s hashtag “Justice for the people” grew to over 160 Million in a day or two, without coming up on the top hot search trending list, which caused many to suspect that Weibo was actively suppressing the topic. However, Uncle Li created other hashtags that also trended alongside it - and netizens created their own as well. Uncle Li got into contact with ZZH’s family and they seem to be working together.
Primer:
CAPA - Chinese Assoc. Of Performing Arts - the private industry org in question
Uncle Li - Li Xuezheng, a famous film director known in the industry for his work in journalism and military affairs, unrelated to ZZH
813 - ZZH was cancelled August 13, 2021 - the date the fandom collectively calls as 813
1. Nov 29, 2021 - Someone asked Uncle Li if ZZH will come forward soon
This user translated the post on Uncle Li’s weibo
“Mr. Li, I came across this case by chance the day before yesterday, I was wondering whether it would be possible to push ZZH or his family to come forth and say something, since CA/PA has been exposed then the so-called ‘ban’ and limitations on zzh are rendered useless and is just a stubborn resistance (chinese idiom inserted here). I think if the victim comes forward, he will be able to break the current ban and change the public opinion. The perpetrators (rough translation, may not be accurate) are stubbornly dragging this out, prolonging the litigation process will further damage the victim’s labor rights and commercial value. Justice shouldn’t be delayed.
Mr. Li’s reply: The power of justice is on the way! <3”
-Take this with a grain of salt, maybe ZZH is planning to make an appearance?? Who knows, it’s up to him and his lawyers to decide.
2. Uncle Li met with government agencies (Central Comm. for Discipline Inspection, CCDI) and it seemed to go well
Many government agency leaders have contacted Uncle Li privately to express their support for his endeavors to expose CAPA’s corruption. Even people within CAPA themselves are helping him.
3. Other News Outlets + verified people are slowly covering Uncle Li v. CAPA
Nov 29 - Phoenix News Outlet stated that CAPA is a voluntary social group, not an official government group
Verified “Red V” accounts on weibo with 4million+ followers are now coming to support Uncle Li

4. Uncle Li’s thoughts on becoming famous/infamous bc of CAPA - Nov 29
This amazing user translated Uncle Li’s post, which basically says that he finds what CAPA is doing deplorable, especially because one of CAPA’s leaders committed “immoral” acts himself. It’s super ironic that they get to set the standard for morality when they commit immoral acts themselves.
He says: “I'm an old man in his 50s, my will to fight has already greatly diminished but seeing how blatantly shameless they're acting and learning of their ultimate goal, I couldn't keep quiet. Even if I have to fight this alone, I wouldn't mind going to battle, fight until the bitter end”
5. CAPA - where does the money go? “A guy covered in shit dared scold someone for wearing the wrong perfume” (SAVAGE Uncle Li)
This user translated an article that Uncle Li attached to his weibo post. It basically says that CAPA is registered as a non-profit org, but it’s clearly making a lot of profit - to the tune of 68.72million RMB. Where does it go? The last charity event they held was in 2007! The last industry event they had was in 2013!
Apparently even the leadership committee within CAPA had no experience managing making the list that boycotted ZZH in August and in Nov. Who made it then? There’s no transparency involved. Uncle Li CALLED THEM OUT AGAIN by saying
“they always claimed that it’s been reviewed by a morality committee but they refused to publish a list of members. Did any of them sign their names to that list? Judges have to sign their judgments in courts, are the people in the morality committee able to face the people’s judgment of their morality? Can they stand up to scrutiny?” - probably not.
3. Same user translated: CAPA has a monopoly on the entertainment manager licensing system, Uncle Li asked why managers need licenses from CAPA?? When managers are no different from a PR person at a company.
Tumblr media
4. Uncle Li asks CAPA on weibo again why they can accept money beyond the amount they need for normal administration fees? Why do they charge 2680 rmb/person to get trained for an exam and then to take it? He quotes:
5. >>> “A guy covered in shit dared scold someone for wearing the wrong perfume”
Tumblr media
6. Nov 30 - Uncle Li Sasses Weibo and Bilibili and CAPA AGAIN
Uncle Li thanked Weibo admin for their hard work at cancelling many of his “likes” on his posts, and said that more likes or less likes won’t affect how hot his topic trends, hahahaha.
Tumblr media
2. He says that everyone should question him and doubt him, go ahead and do it in the daylight, don’t be afraid! He’s also been interviewed by a bunch of journalists, but many of their upper management didn’t allow his articles to be released. He says to have courage! He hoped to end the fight by the end of this year!
Tumblr media
7. Nov 30 - CAPA deletes a lot of their subdomains - show a 404 error
This user translated that many CAPA subdomains on the web are now gone such as the Henan CAPA, Beijing CAPA, Shanghai CAPA, Sichuang CAPA, etc
Tumblr media
8. Nov 30 - Someone tried to submit an appeal to CAPA bc they were on the boycott list
Uncle Li said - “Someone went to CAPA’s ‘secretariat’ to submit an appeal, but they did not give any recepit/material proof of acceptance of the appeal, only gave a phone # and a contact named ‘Liu laoshi’...”
Tumblr media
9. Uncle Li’s “Justice for the people” hashtag is now at 1.66 BILLION views and 660k + discussions!
And somehow IT’S STILL NOT TRENDING?? Weibo, you’re being too obvious now about being in on it ok?
10. Nov 28-30 Other fake industry groups stealthily change their info to say they’re private orgs
This amazing user again followed an interesting trail. She goes into how other corrupt groups stealth changed their profile to say that they’re not really government groups and just posted a simple notice on their page saying sorry, woops, didn’t know you guys didn’t know we’re not OFFICIAL. On Nov 28, the time that Uncle Li was starting up his case against CAPA, also a corrupt industry org that pretended to be official gov. How convenient. I’m assuming there are plenty of these groups around that are stealth-changing their info.
A gossip account in c-ent with 6Million followers sided with CAPA, but their comment section just said “so handsome,” “love your work,” “love you,” etc, bc it was FULL OF WATER ARMY BOTS hahahaha - he forgot to tell people that he’s not posting about a celebrity, but about CAPA. He deleted the post lol.
Tumblr media
11. Dec 1 - CAPA speaks up but they shot themselves in the foot
They welcome anyone to report them to their superiors (who are..???? They don’t say) in an official statement and interview. And the comment section is closed, ofc. They’ll sue anyone who questions them.
AND THEN - netizens found that the statement was PRE-STAMPED, PRE-NOTARIZED. The document was already stamped, and then the words were written. You can’t do this lol. So the reporter, Bai Ying, also works for CAPA??? There’s like a thousand problems with this press release.
Blue V’s (verified business accounts) were probably paid to repost CAPA’s response to Uncle Li, spreading misinformation.
Dec 1 - Uncle Li posted a video saying, BS, you didn’t answer ANY of my questions, you (CAPA) just answered softball questions that didn’t really say anything at all. “This is a typical way of avoiding the important and evading the subject.”
He further says that he looks forward to going to court against CAPA and will request for the proceedings to be LIVESTREAMED.
Dec 2 - someone in CAPA contacted Uncle Li saying the article Bai Ying released (the prenotarized one)??? Was fake??? The interview was fake? He wrote the article, showed it to the leaders at CAPA, and then published it??? Sigh. Bai Ying was made to be scapegoat for CAPA, cuz CAPA threw him under the bus too after this lol.
Tumblr media
12. Youku/Douyin/Bilibili voluntarily took down ZZH’s work (including WOH) even though they’re not under any control from CAPA - CAPA throws them under the bus
CAPA basically said their boycott list was voluntary, and threw Youku/Douyin/Bilibili under the bus for boycotting ZZH lol. Since this is true, Youku could put up ZZH’s work again, and people could start releasing his work again. But will they? Depends on Uncle Li’s success probably.
-------------------
TLDR:
So that's basically what's happened so far until Dec 2, 2021! Uncle Li is steadily gaining traction. People are coming out to support him. People are finally exposing other orgs like CAPA that pretend to be gov. orgs and manipulate c-ent. ZZH may or may not make an appearance?? CAPA finally spoke up and shot themselves in the foot, deleted their webpages on their other branches. Justice is marching forward. Whew, that was a long update. I'll update when something big happens next.
Thanks for enjoying some CAPA tea with me~

Aesthetic Player Challenge
Olá, olá! Sabe o ditado "mente vazia, oficina do diabo"?

PLAYER DOIS: Vaporware.
O famosinho do rolê!
PLAYER QUATRO: Film Noir.
PLAYER SETE: Dark Fairycore. Mistura elementos da cultura gótica com as fadas, sendo comuns as construções velhas/abandonadas, as flores, florestas enevoadas, cogumelos e velas. Usa o preto, azul escuro, verde e marrom.
PLAYER OITO: Mad Scientist.
PLAYER NOVE: Desertwave.
