help needed please

today has just been the absolute worst day and it just spiraled into one thing after the other. i havent really stopped crying or panicking but i took a long enough shower to be able to talk about it.

i know its a long post but if you could take a moment to read it & possible help or at least reblog it would hopefully take some of my stress away about the entire situation.

my car just got towed. i thought i had auto payments turned on for the account but apparently i did not which is 100% my fault and i should have kept better track of it. ever since my dads parent plus loan repayments kicked in, moneys been really tight and i think around then is when i must have turned auto pay off because the amount due for my the parent plus loan is about $620 each month and thats not much more than my monthly car payment atm.

i was able to make a payment and with my dads help hopefully get caught back up & pick up my car tomorrow from the towing company but that means i am going to be negative for any other expenses the rest of the month until i get my teacher paycheck on the 30th. i still have my car insurance i need to pay, which is roughly $300.

this was all of course after earlier in the day where my laptop suddenly decided to crash. i was teaching my 3rd block class and closed it for student presentations and when i opened it back up at lunch it wouldnt turn on. it seemed to be running—it was slightly warm and the it had a charge before i closed it, but the screen is black & the keyboard wont light up. i finally got the apple logo for .2 seconds when i got home but almost immediately it went dark again. thats an issue im obviously going to have to worry about later but as the yearbook and newspaper adviser my mac is something i use everyday for both personal and work stuff. it just made everything else feel compounded. im also now realizing i havent picked up my migraine medication from the pharmacy so now im going to have to figure out how to pick up snd pay for that before they restock it.

i know i dont have many followers on here or anything but i just really need the help right now. if you could spare even just a $1 or honestly just reblog this it would mean so much. i hate asking for money and i know ive had to do it before but hopefully this is the last time.

Welp, time to finally do my brakes, and man did I take my sweet ass time with them, because holy shit

My disks were basically gone, the pads needed changing too, and even the brake fluid needed draining because it was too dirty.

I wanted to do check them last year, but with the broken windshield, dead battery and new alternator my budget was essentially gone.

Thankfully the rear brakes just needed maintenance, so no new parts there.

All in all, this whole thing came down to 250 dollars (980.000 pesos), which for once I had on hand due to not being paid for a month straight up until this Monday.

Still, I wanted to use that money to get some stuff for the new place me and my girl are now in, so if anyone can help out to cover that, it would mean a ton!

And man does the Patreon money always comes in handy, I held out this long thanks to it

Hey, y'all, I wouldn't be asking for help if I didn't really need it. I was in a car accident on December 18th, 2023. The car was totaled since it wasn't my car, but my parents. They'll be getting the money from the insurance. I was told that I needed to get my own car. I'm looking only for $1000 to get a down payment. The Dying of my Car Fundraiser

Over the last weekend (3/3/24), my 10-year-old Jeep died on me.

There may be mechanical issues but if the costs are too much then it would help to put a down payment.

I work two jobs to be able to live. I’m a sole income teacher with a part time job and even then it’s not enough to live for the summer.

My car got me out here lookin like boo-boo the mutha fucking fool. This hussy had the audacity to create problems, and then stop only to come back with vengeance on my way home.

Not to mention being over dramatic and tossing on the check engine light AS I AM PARKING.

I had plans to watch Campaign 2 of Critical Role, but Nooooooooo.

Welp my car is taking a shit. I have the money to get another one (bc of insurance to cushion the cost) but it's gonna still set me back a bit.

My brother had fixed it for now but I'm worried another expense is gonna happen...

I'm gonna work on a quick commission sheet that will include things I can get quickly done rather than work on huge commission pieces (that might change - we'll see). I just don't wanna try to build up my savings again when I got it pretty good for emergencies (like...my car taking a shit lmao)

I'm gonna be updating this week or so and trying to reactivate some stuff (like my kofi - paypall - etc)
