Ritual en el cosmos…
TOOLS, TRADE & TRADTITIONS
For my ceramics project I’ve decided to pick Tailoring/Alterations. I also would like to explore and try and combine textiles with ceramics. I’ve an interest in textiles. Specifically knit, embroidery, crotchet and would like to intertwine this into my work.
These are some objects I’ve being looking at
I’m sharing some things I made as part of my goddess project for international women’s day.
This is Xochiquetzal, an Aztec goddess of the creative arts, love, fertility and flowers among several other things.
For a series of 15 goddesses, I am making a terracotta clay figure, a ceramic tile and a lino print, each pared with a quote or relevant thought on women or femininity.
So this forms part of a series.
Yo I made a mask based of shigaraki in ceramics class it looks terrifying
