And third are the Autosapiens (AKA Cars), lead by no one.

When I was a young child, I was adopted by hardcore evangelical Christian extremists. If you imagine a cartoon-level cultist, you’re probably pretty close to getting an image of what these people were like.

These people were outspoken zionists. Not only that, they were also the type to almost fetishize Israel, and Jewishness in general, but especially in connection to Israel. They were the sort who had “Passover seders” that were Christianized, they would go on and on about the “Jewish homeland” and the “sacredness of Jerusalem” and so on and so forth.

They held the belief that the establishment of Israel as a Jewish state would begin the End Times. They wanted this, because they believed that after the world and every non-Christian in it was destroyed in horrible, torturous ways, that they would inherit a “newly-remade” world for themselves as the “New Jerusalem” for the “true chosen people of the Lord.”

This is Zionism to the Evangelical, Conservative groups— the groups who are the loudest voice in favor of Israel, the groups where it’s propaganda is focused.

These people are also horrifically antisemitic.

From saying that Jewish people are all damned to suffer for eternity due to not being Christian, to claiming that they deserve their suffering for “killing Jesus,” to repeating blood libel and conspiracy theories, every form of antisemitism you can think of has been perpetrated by these people. These zionists. Jewish people and Judaism are only “worth” anything to them if they can be used as a prop for their religion, otherwise, they genuinely believe that only 144,000 Jewish people who “accept Christ” will be granted “eternal life” and spared, while the others, along with the rest of humanity, will be sentenced to eternal suffering.

Antizionism is not Antisemitism.

In fact, Zionism itself is often Antisemitic.

Don’t listen to propaganda and fearmongering. Zionists don’t care about Jewish people— they care only about their own agenda.

Earth, 400,000 PA

The bombs fell 400,000 years ago, a product of wars between long-dead nations over dwindling water and farmland. Thunderous explosions, raging fires, then utter, terrible silence. Humans, a mammalian species that by this point would be considered megafauna, did not immediately go extinct, even as nuclear cooldown and radiation led to the mass death of plant and animal life globally. They clung to life in bunkers and isolated corners of the world, and eventually, the radiation and the cold wore off, only to be replaced by a decimated ozone layer, worsened greenhouse effect, and skyrocketing global temperatures.

This would prove the final nail in Humanity's coffin, as over the course of hundreds of years, the few remaining survivors struggled to hold on in patches of the far north and south, nomadic, unable to recover past technological advancements, and left with few significant, reliable sources of food. As the calamity reached its first crescendo, an ancient disease, risen from the melted permafrost, burned through much of the remaining Human population, leaving only small bands and individual wanderers, who, one by one, slowly died out, the last around 1000 PA.

This would not be the end of Humanity's impact on the Earth, however. The catastrophic rise in temperatures led to the melting of much of Earth's remaining ice caps, and combined with the nuclear cooldown before it, led to the annihilation of a not insignificant portion of the Earth's plant life, and while it made a lopsided recovery towards the poles as temperatures warmed and the sky cleared, the planet's equatorial region would see no such recovery, with some regions seeing temperatures as high as 70 degrees Celsius by 400,000 PA and much of the planet between 40 degrees north and 30 degrees south becoming varying kinds of desert, the equator uninhabitable and for a time nearly impassable.

By 400,000 PA, the time of early Corvid development, the planet had reached somewhat of a new status quo. Little animal life larger than medium-sized dogs remains on land, though this will eventually change. Plant life is slowly evolving to better withstand higher temperatures, though oxygen levels remain lower than they did during the Anthropocene. No visible traces of Human society remain on Earth's surface, though their legacy is felt in the conspicuous lack of fossil fuels and certain rare substances. In the end, their legacy will have reverberating effects throughout the history of Earth and its second complex sophont society, even if the first was not around to see it.

Cursed with a wretched lot in life the people unfairly named "Sloppers" are the spawn of mouldering cloning machines, tirelessly birthing parasite infested mutants with extremely unstable genetics. Many do not survive their first day.

A paranoia of Sloppers comes from their ability to "contaminate" other lifeforms with their genetic instability, doing so lessening the burden of the initial Slopper, despite this many Sloppers aware of this ability choose to live alone, out of a desire to spare others from their plight. This noble sacrifice often goes unnoticed.

When Norman had revealed himself to be the Green Goblin (he was goblining before Peter was spidering) he also revealed that the weapon was supposed to make him stronger and he wanted Peter to be a villain with him.

While Goblin was monologuing, Peter noticed that the weapon had become unstable and was going to explode. Before it did; Goblin throw Peter out the window while he stayed inside as it exploded.

Peter (having survived falling 30+ storys bc plot) managed to get back home Aunt May and Uncle Ben’s house. At first; everything was fine for a few weeks.

The infection started with insects; becoming bigger, more aggressive, more “not right”. Then, it jumped to bigger and bigger animals and became worse. Rats with sharp spines on its tail, cats with venomous fangs, horses with eight legs. They even started to resemble other animals.

Around this time, Peter had gotten sick from radiation and had isolated himself from others. Uncle Ben had dragged him to the car to take him to a hospital (it was a long, difficult drive with bread loaf sized cockroach with acidic spit every where) while Peter was in the ER, Ben had also gotten sick due to exposure to Peter and eventually dies from radiation.

While Peter’s in the hospital, the infection jumped to humans. It started small, with most people feeling very itchy and getting nasty rashes; hospitals became overcrowded and many people had to deal with severe body pains at home. The infection got worse and people began to mutate; peoples bodies would twist and burst open and became more animal like. What was left of society had fallen as many people had become more animal than man.

People in urban and suburban moved to large, interconnecting, underground cities or repurposed the tall abandoned buildings, strung together with bridges and paths. 

Peter(now NOT dying) gets his friends and aunt may underground and becomes a photographer(takes pics below and above ground for news reasons) he decides to become Wolf-Spider so he can protect people from the fugitive and literal monsters.

Peter’s not the only person with a spider mutation, but the radiation just gave him enhanced strength, speed, and healing.

Wolf-Spider’s not the only hero. There are other non-enhanced people, they usually deal with other people and not monsters.(I MIGHT add “street level” heros too)

There are three levels of infection:

Low infection: little to no visible changes and are more likely to be cured(if one is created)

Mild infection: partial changes, often have extra limbs and patches of fur, scales, or feathers. Not likely be able to be cured.

High infection: the big monsters. The animal part of them has taken over and are now unrecognizable.

Only people and animals(and sometimes fungus) can be infected naturally. Plants have to be infected by hand and has a different reaction to it.

𝚍𝚎𝚊𝚍  𝚋𝚢  𝚍𝚊𝚢𝚕𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝  :  in  which  the  entity  takes  ethan  before  he  can  die  during  the  village’s  destruction.  she  sees  his  potential,  sees  the  way  he’d  fit  perfectly  amongst  her  motley  crew  of  survivors,  and  snatches  the  father  up  before  the  explosion  can  kill  him.  in  the  fog,  the  mold’s  transformation  is  paused,  too  ;  ethan  is  truly  put  in  limbo  here,  a  dead  man  walking.  once  again,  he’s  on  the  run  from  people  trying  to  kill  him.  he  just  wants  to  escape,  to  go  home  to  his  daughter.  still,  he’s  a  martyr  until  the  end,  willing  to  sacrifice  himself  if  it  means  that  the  other  survivors  can  escape  the  trial. *  an  alternate  version  of  this  verse  has  ethan  as  a  killer.  instead  of  the  entity  pausing  the  mold’s  corruption,  it  enhances  it  and  twists  it  until  he’s  her  perfect  little  plaything.  a  molded  soldier  with  claws  and  fangs,  and  only  faint  recollections  of  the  man  he  was  before.

𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚎𝚛  𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜  :  in  which  ethan  once  again  defies  death.  after  visiting  family  for  the  summer  and  liking  the  small  town,    twenty  year  old  ethan  moves  from  los  angeles  to  hawkins  and  takes  a  job  at  radio  shack.  things  change  however  when  his  friend,  zoe  baker’s  family  ends  up  getting  controlled  by  the  mind  flayer  ;  ethan  tries  to  help  her  figure  out  what’s  happening  to  them  ...  why  they  have  changed.    the  baker  family  ends  up  infecting  him,  resulting  in  the  man  seemingly  dying  along  with  the  rest  of  the  flayed  when  the  flayer  creates  its  physical  body.  once  the  flayer  is  destroyed,  something  new  forms  out  of  the  remains  :  ethan  winters,  restored  and  with  no  memory  of  anything  that  had  occurred  after  his  infection  at  the  baker  house,  but  with  a  newfound  connection  to  a  certain  alternate  dimension. 𝚊𝚖𝚘𝚗𝚐  𝚞𝚜  :  in  which  ethan  is  being  pursued  by  things  that  want  to  kill  him,  except  it’s  in  space.  he’s  an  engineer  crewmate,  crucial  to  the  ship’s  upkeep  —  what  a  shame  that  his  role  puts  him  in  harm’s  way  more  than  it  should,  given  his  role’s  requirement  to  sometimes  traverse  through  the  vents.  he’s  not  alone  in  there  :  there  are  things  inside  the  ship’s  vents,  things  that  want  to  kill  the  crew,  things  that  want  to  infect  and  take  over,  and  he  looks  like  an  easy  target. *  his  crewmate  color  is  green,  bc  i  know  y’all  are  wondering.

𝚜𝚌𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚖  :  in  which  ethan  is  one  of  the  woodsboro  teenagers  attacked  by  ghostface.  he  is  a  computer  nerd  with  plans  of  going  to  college  for  engineering  when  he  graduates  ;  there’s  no  real  reason  to  target  him,  no,  he’s  just  in  the  wrong  place  at  the  wrong  time.  after  witnessing  one  of  the  other  kills,  the  killers  need  to  get  rid  of  him  —  and  yet,  despite  their  confidence  and  belief  that  they’ve  killed  him,  he  still  manages  to  live  through  it. *  ethan’s  whole  thing  is  living  through  impossible  shit  and  defying  death,  we  been  knew.
